Abdulla all of a sudden appeared
on the scene with his label... and a couple months later he pops by again
with this 2nd twelve. Trippy deep gritty techno tracks from this guy thats
clearly not aiming to be the next most popular producer in the Resident Advisor
poll. Uncompromising tracks that must be played out loud in a dark basement
style setting with loads of smoke and strobo. Raw techno just as we like it! |

The Free Fall Galaxy is what we
could call a cosmic menace - a threat to all that it encounters. It is a dark
space in Time that shows no mercy for its prey as it devours for the means of
survival. Unlike the Galaxies humanity know and recognize; the spiral,
elliptical and abnormal galaxies, the Free Fall doesn’t seem to have a
consistent character that we rationalize, but one thing that we do know is
that it endlessly consumes without becoming larger in mass or size. Where the
cosmic matter goes after it’s eaten is a mystery that we struggle to imagine.
As a nomadic hunter, we must assume that this Galaxy holds the information
that unlocks many galactic mysterious.Nature indicates that maybe Earth has
already been consumed by this Galaxy - that our accelerating sense of
cyclical Time versus the decline and deterioration of matter demonstrates a
conflicting circumstance that could be the result of the digestion. Not the
indication of out-right growth and fortification |

Two analogue industrial-inspired
massive tracks from Boys Noize. The Aside features a darkly processed spoken
club mantra- "Midnight, 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am... 9am, 10, let's do it
again" - over rough breaks and distorted, cavernous bass making it a
hauntingly effective dancefloor tool for any time of night (or
morning).
The flip, "Los Ninos," is an impeccable nod to classic EBM and
New Beat that could be passed off as a lost production from decades ago. If
Liasons Dangereuses, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Silent Servant had
children together, they would be "Los Ninos." Huge energy! |

Dekmantel is thrilled to announce
an exciting new project by the impeccable Robert Hood. Over the course of
three different EPs and an album, the Detroit legend presents Paradygm Shift.
Hood: ''The idea behind Paradygm Shift is similar to a shift in our focus. We
can become so complacent; we are so comfortable with our surroundings, I
think this is the time for electronic music to find a new mindset.'' The Form Lockers EP kicks of the series
with great anticipation. Two tracks that have 'Rob Hood' written all over it:
minimalistic beasts, bursting from energy and meticulously crafted by the
hand of a master producer. 'Form' slowly but surely creeps upon you, a slow
starter, but in the end the techno funk-finesse will roar like a Detroit car
engine. 'Lockers' follows a slightly more melodic path, keeping the momentum
by delivering body shaking, pulsating techno, deep and timeless just the way
we like it. It's a pleasure to present you these two killer slayers, and
there's more to come |

Dreiklang
Records set sail in February 2016 with the excellent First Contact EP which
featured OCH, Hydergine and Kelovolt, three singular artists each handing in
their own contrasting take on the same source material. The Berlin-based
vinyl-only label now returns with the same concept for the Loop Continue EP.
For their second release Dreiklang call upon three strong figures of the
techno scene, each displaying a highly distinct voice in keeping with the
triangular concept of the label: Scottish veteran Edit Select and Italian
purveyors of everything dark and deep, Dino Sabatini and Claudio PRC. The
three tracker kicks off with the deep sub-aquatic sounds of Tony Scott aka
Edit Select, who produces the original version of Loop Continue, an
introspective DJ tool. The Scottish producer goes straight to the point from
the very start with a dusky loop that is slowly overcome by a glistening,
luxuriant drone. Claudio PRC hands in a stunning rework. A hypnotizing bass
drives the track forward while tranquil chords ease in and out of focus.
Finally, Dino Sabatini, a regular collaborator of Edit Select, drops in fresh
from the release of his Omonimo LP |

Billy
Nasty's Electrix Records launches its 2016 schedule by welcoming back the
always impressive, Carl Finlow. Carl is one of dance music's leading lights
and a multi-talented producer across a range of genres, with releases
stretching back to the early 90s. Well known for the 2020 Vision label he
launched with Ralph Lawson, his solo work however has often taken an Electro
route with releases under various guises like Random Factor, Black Labs,
Voice Stealer, Silicon Scally and Scarletron (with Daz Quayle) on labels
including Warp, Fuel, Playhouse, Paper, Trope, Sony, Klang, Arista, Soma,
SCSI, Pagan, Minifunk, Seventh Sign and Satamile. It's been almost 3 years
since Carl appeared on Electrix. His 'Boot Loop EP' became the label's second
release after its re-launch in 2013. But it's definitely been worth the wait.
His 'Electricology 4 EP' once again shows why he's a master of the genre.
From the tough and funked-up 'Lateral Thoughts', speckled and melodic
'Hyperloop', squelching, bassy 'Suspect Reanimation' and sinister,
beat-driven 'Latext', right through to the playful 'Atomic Level' (a bonus
track for the digital release) |

We are very happy to finally

artist onto EarToGround. 'Ness' also known as Andrea Deplano first caught our
attention with his seminal track 'Neuronic' which came out in late 2014 on Pole
Group - Soon after that release he started work on a full Ep for EarToGround.
The tracks included here have been specially made for this release and
individually display his excellent dynamic range, sound design and unique
take on techno. They have been tried and tested in the best situations,
always getting an excellent crowd response - you'll find a place in a set for
all the tracks featured here. For our next four releases we welcome back one
of our original graphic designers 'Grade A'. We feel the audio and visual
here match perfectly. Being played and supported by the likes of: Marcel

Ep number four of this series of
eight remastered tracks with remix-tributes to the techno legend Christian
Morgenstern is here, and kicks off with D_func's remix of Steigreider on side
A. Creating a warm grayscale atmosphere, the track is carried by a heavy sub
kick groove that's saturated with the modern industrial energy that proves
Kowalski's skills as a techno craftsman. As a contrast, Jeroen Search's remix
of Aces High on B1 is a more minimal interpretation, carried by a slowly
developing beat and playing skillfully with the most recognisable elements of
the original. The final track, a remastered version of Morgenstern's Lydia To
The Edge Of Panic is a timeless classic, painting a Morgenstern-typical
distant and dream like landscape and opening up into a widescreen chord
progression, with an epic build up |

Tensal is a solo project of
Héctor Sandoval, a leading Spanish techno artist with an accomplished
discography spanning 20 years, primarily as half of Exium. The four tracks on
his ‘Opposite Inertia’ EP are each marked by the classic synth focus that
defines the Tensal project, but cover separate moods within techno. 'Inertia
1' rolls out with unusual and off-kilter groove, whilst hi hats and sliding
sub notes grow in intensity to the end. Inertia 2 and 3 are the peak time
cuts. The first is all synth bleeps and a pumping low-end, the second more
hyperactive with its flurry of tightly-wound bass and steely percussion.
'Inertia 4' brings the pace back down to a measured and more atmospheric
close, tailored to the warm-up or time-out moments in a DJ set |

Hitting the music press headlines
recently was news of a second Floorplan album. Now M-Plant delivers a first
taste of this highly anticipated release with two tracks from the album,
'Music' and 'Tell You No Lie'. Floorplan is already well known as Robert
Hood's house, disco, funk and gospel outlet, which this year evolves into a
family affair with co-production alongside his daughter, Lyric. 'Victorious'
will be the second Floorplan album and follow-up to 2013's 'Paradise' which
spawned 'Let's Ride, 'Baby Baby' and the massive 'Never Grow Old'. Set to
replicate the success of 'Paradise', 'Victorious' will be released in June.
To precede it, the single released at the end of April is comprised of the
bumping house groove of 'Music' (which received it's first global airing on
B.Traits' BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra show in February) and the disco rotations of
'Tell You No Lie'. Both tracks are exceptionally infectious, with tough
beats, glorious vocal reprises and sure not to disappoint |

"We live in a world filled
with adversity, The key to surviving and even thriving in this era of
uncertainty is knowing how to walk in victory. The truth is we are more than
conquerors. We are VICTORIOUS." Floorplan is already well known as Robert
Hood's house outlet, which this year evolves into a family affair with
co-production alongside his daughter, Lyric. 'Victorious' is the second
Floorplan album and follow-up to 2013's 'Paradise' which spawned 'Let's Ride,
'Baby Baby' and the massive 'Never Grow Old'. The new album itself is
preceded by the double-headed single 'Music' / 'Tell You No Lie'. As Robert
once again extends his minimal techno sound via his 'Paradigm Shift' project
on Dekmantel, he also returns his focus to house, disco, funk and gospel to
the Floorplan show, which now takes a surprising twist. Having watched her
father DJ the world over from the shadows and numerous appearances in the
Floorplan DJ set Lyric Hood comes centre-stage alongside her father |

With
over a decade of crate digging behind him, Antigone — real name Antonin
Jeanson — has woven the techno canon deep into his sound. But yet, Jeanson is
less of a scholar than a renegade when it comes to traditions. Rather than
sticking apropos to the rules, he has always found himself pushing up against
them. Following a flurry of releases stretching over half decade, 2015 saw
Jeanson first appearing on Token for 'Cantor Dust'. This masterful double EP
stretched his ambitions even further, and cemented his credentials as a
producer. Indeed, the same is still true in 2016, which finds Jeanson at his
most accomplished yet. 'Night Adrift' opens Saudade with an unapologetic
heaviness. Every single pulse of this track hits the floor like it's a
punchbag. Here, Jeanson showcases the physical quality at the root of his
sound. In this regard, it's important not to divorce his sound from its live
context. After all, this is music to move to, and Jeanson always has this in
mind. 'Hiraeth', by contrast closes the EP with a mysterious uncertainty.
Harmonic elements swell and emerge throughout, but they exist only in passing
before snapping out of earshot |

Token's 60th release comes from
label mainstay Ctrls, whose tight bond with the imprint continues with this
seventh exclusive EP. Following last year's Two Worlds EP, Nonuser takes
Ctrls club focused sound to new heights, delivering rolling percussion alongside
twisting, distorted leads and thundering bass lines. The EP opens with
Vocabulary. A rigid percussive framework provides the perfect, albeit heavy
backdrop to the track's distorted, detuned pads and tightly enveloped,
morphing lead. Nonuser's title track takes dancers into slightly more bizarre
territory. Its unrelenting kick drum propels staccato, cut up hi hats
alongside a sporadic melody that falls slightly outside the grid. The release
ends with The Wave, a subtler track. Timbre rich chords fade in and out over
a thick and rolling low end. Uneven claps complete this atmospheric
production, which ends dissolving into the chords and drones built up over
the preceding five minutes |

"His

name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in
blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God." Eschaton
is Ancient Methods & Orphx. To listeners familiar with the esteemed back
catalogue of Orphx, spanning over 20 years of saturated noisy hardware
obsession, a collaboration with the thundering steel sound Ancient Methods
should make perfect sense. For this project they use their combined
hard-edged industrial palette to produce a frighteningly convincing
apocalyptic prophecy. As the second product of this collaboration, Eschaton
II has taken a more varied, yet ever menacing turn, moving between the raw
and punky energy of Answer My Prayer, and the droney shamanic mysticism
(reminiscent of some early Ancient Methods releases) of No Other Gods Before
Me. Those Who Obey strikes relentlessly like an archaic battle anthem, while
the slow build of Deus Irae gradually progresses to the climactic thrashing
promised in the preceding tracks |

Inigo
Kennedy has been with Token since the beginning. With a strong existing
catalog stretching back to the 90s, Kennedy produced the first Token release
from a place of confidence, with an EP of bold and dark, yet playful and
seriously storming techno tracks. Since then he has been consistent in
delivering a succession of releases that are always surprising, but instantly
recognisable as fitting with his own polished sonic identity. This impressive
body of work includes the full-length LP Vaudeville, in which he explored the
many facets of his abilities as a producer, from atmospheric heights of
ambience to murky and claustrophobic pacing grooves. Now for Token 62, his
double A-side NGC EP continues with a theme originating from the final track
on Vaudeville, delving into the aesthetics of the interstellar clouds of
Cygnus and Draco. The EP as a whole is swelling, melodic and subtle, with the
AA-side NGC6543 named after the 'Cat's Eye' nebula, taking its time with warm
crescendos and crisp splashes of percussion to activate a meridian body
