''Aftereffekts'' is a 4 track release that opens with the thumping ''The
Visitor", this track combines puzzling percussive movements with otherwordly
pads which subtly build to a hypnotic climax. ''Fallen'' is a broad sounding
cut with an almost orchestral touch to it. The uncanny drum patterns and
repetative FX make for a solid voyage. Aftereffect is a percussion laden cut
with soul touching strings that float throughout. ''You'' is a melancholic
piece of art that incorporates heavenly pads with beautifully orchestrated
rhodes sounds and a hypnotic drumtrack |

The 12th installment in the
Falling Ethics series is an adventurous piece of work. Tensal and P.E.A.R.L.
team up on this split EP to showcase their production styles which are mainly
built around crafty drum loops and buoyant synth experiments. Tensal takes
care of the A-side where he takes care of one flaming Techno cut for the
dancefloor which is followed up by two adventurous pieces of electronica.
P.E.A.R.L. also took care of three cuts on the B-side. The opening track
''Joy Of Rapture'' is a straight forward demonstration of machine heavy
Techno. ''Fall Before You'' is a deep and soul wrenching cut that showcases
P.E.A.R.L's more delicate side. Red Flame is a piece of horror reminiscent

Front
Left represents a very special corner in a very special spot on this planet.
Every week the front left people gather together to celebrate techno music.
In the first release, you will find Elad Magdasi, a heavy dancer and an
emotional producer. His productions are wide-ranged and loaded with a true
rave spirit. Finger Trip is the first track on the record. This
trippy-magical tune was played (by surprise) in a very huge party, leaving
Elad forever shocked and therefore releasing this EP. With a heavy beat,
groovy percussion and a "follow the white rabbit" melody - this one
is a dancefloor banger. Following up is the Finger Trip Remix by Matrixxman -
a massive bomb dropping from above leaving no survivors. Leading with a dark
synth that will chase you in your dreams, The B side opens with No Ego, the
melodic side of Elad. Soft, moody pads with a Detroit feeling and an acidic
bassline that carries the whole track. The last track is Ah Seed, a full-on
acid madness. Dry beats with rolling percussion and an in-your-face attitude.

A new talent is added to our
roster, this time the argentinian Alderaan, after several releases in labels
such as Animal farm, Mindtrip, Planet Rhythm and our very own Aine. He offers
five slices of modern techno, heavy percussive based but whit a lot of
intelligent elements inside. First cut is Ancient Particles, multiple drum
layers, heavy reverberation and obsessive sequences as sound palette.
Parallax follows in the same style but adding more drone action and bell like
lines in a clever arrangement. Oscar Mulero remixes Retina getting rid of the
textures and focusing in rhythm and repetition in a minimalistic remake.
Retina is a cosmic exercise, with galactic resonant bleeps, atmospheres and
ambiental components in a dreamy structure. No quarter returns to percussive
territories, again with drones and atmospheres floating over the beat in an
hypnotic travel thru deepness. Timeless techno for the mind and for the body,
soul as a weapon |
