The Sonic Flower new album Me and
my Bellbottom Blues is full of 70's feelings. It's heavy but more bluesy
taste than ever. New guitarist "Fumiya Hattori" is a young
bluesman. He use slide bar and acoustic guitar too. His guitar style's width
is huge. Regarding song writing, of course "Tatsu Mikami" wrote
songs as always. Not only heavy but also 'down to earth' feeling. You can
also enjoy tons of RIFF by this riff master. New drummer "Toshiaki
Umemura" made a heavy and groovy sound. Most difference from previous
album is Sonic Flower got a singer on this album. "Kazuhiro Asaeda"
is original CHURCH OF MISERY singer and he sang in their early release
"Vol.1". Tatsu made a tag team with him again and solution is
really amazing. Tatsu think "This album is BEST work in my

After
a long lockdown and moving to Berlin, the label is back with the next release
on Lost Control 2097. They've been waiting for too long to release this
record but it's finally here. And OH, it was worth the wait. Salford's very
own 'The Fly Insect' (a lot will know him as Johnny Abstract in the Bohemian
Grove era) has amassed a large silo container worth of radioactive mutant
funk that he's been holding onto for a long while, literally 100 years. Lost
Control have been lucky enough to open the taps on this Fly tanker and this
EP/mini album is just a slippery snippet of the the sub-aquatic
machine-musik. There is 6 tracks of dripping 90s.......the 2090s; ranging
from cybernetik techno to ambient electro and back straight at it with heavy
robotics. There is one emotional monster of a moment called '12 (Acresfield)'
which is a tribute track to the late great Dave Ball aka D-Ball (another
electronic legend from Salford). It's been getting repeated plays on our NTS
show for good reason. But Decay is the lead track, AND LEAD US IT WILL...into
the utter depths of another Fly based multi-verse. Don't sleep on your chance
to grab Fly history and don't say so we didn't warn ya. Limited to 300

u.r.trax she was doing the artist care for POSSESSION Paris. I believe we met
after every possession party I played after that one and I definitely noticed
something sparkling. Her young age, her arty vision, her continuously growing
DJ and production skills, Folge Mir and her passion for the music were key
facts to be the first player getting a KAOS sublabel under her name. She is
also preparing some upcoming unique projects which makes her one to watch in
the upcoming years. As a kid of the Parisian raves, MORAL KRISIS would be her
signature style this songs are oscillating between the finest trance and the
rawest club techno, (which I call techno-trance) the use of her own vocals

masterful, supergroup of Phreek lead by Patrick Adams, sees three of its
sought-after masterpieces, two of which have never been on a 12 inch,
officially reissued and remastered on a label that’s fast becoming a go-to
for in demand reissues, South Street Disco. A pure classic, ‘Weekend’, was
born back in ‘78 written by Leroy Burgess and James Calloway and produced by
Patrick Adams and Burgess, they lead an expertly curated troupe for this
massive Paradise Garage staple and Larry Levan favourite. That late ‘70s
sound where synthesisers rose to prominence, sees a combination of cosmic
keys, freakish strings and power-play funk guitars, tied together with tight
percussion, bold basslines and Christie Shire’s lead vocals, that whole
heartedly captures the spirit of disco. Famously remade into a house anthem 0
years later by Todd Terry, ‘Weekend’ is a timeless slice of celestial magic.
In a similar fashion ‘Everybody Loves A Good Thing’ does another blast around
the cosmos - a Universal Robot Band feel emanating from the buzzing synths
and awe-inspiring vocal prowess of Leroy Burgess, coupled with ‘Shining’
star, Venus Dodson. As uplifting as it gets, complete with a killer piano
breakdown to draw out every ounce of anticipation. Flip it over and a whole
side is devoted to the greatness of ‘I'm a Big Freak [R*U*1*2]’. A
mesmerising, fast-paced, disco workout with sensuous groans, sleazed up,
supernatural keys and a heavy bass that just goes and goes and goes! Favoured

their six-track 'Vergessene Welt' EP, signalling the first material on the
imprint for 18 months. Founded in 2015, the launch of SHDW and Obscure
Shape's label From Another Mind saw the Stuttgart-based DJ/producers
establish themselves via a wealth of self-released material while welcoming a
long list of high-profile remixers, including Rodhad, James Ruskin and Dax J.
However, the pair's evolution saw new ventures explored and attention focused
wider afield with the launch of their second label Mutual Rytm in 2022.
Utilising their A&R skills, the label has seen the duo curate and invite
a selection of up-and-coming and established names while also delivering
their first EP on the label in Summer, 'Poetic Justice'. Exploring the techno
sounds of tomorrow while drawing on influences of the past, the label quickly
turned heads and has become a go-to for many. Following a brief hiatus, the
attention is now turned back towards From Another Mind as the pair explore
their origins and the signature FAM sound once again, opening the New Year
with six fresh productions across their 'Vergessene Welt' EP. Opener 'Planet
Der Sturme' is an exhilarating ride through driving basslines, menacing synth
lines and hard-hitting percussion to march towards the peak hours and set the
tone for what's to come. 'Der Urknall' is a trippy and murky dive through
off-kilter textures and regimented percussion, while 'Das Gefallene
Konigreich' ups the energy levels further with sharp metallic tones,
skittering hats and subtle haunting melodies launching deep into the late

Sintetici ('synthetic planets' in Italian) is a new conceptual project by
Davide Perrone (Primal Code) that draws inspiration from the factories of
Magrathea, a planet in Douglas Adams' classic space opera The Hitchhiker's
Guide to the Galaxy, where artificial planets are manufactured on commission.
'This concept has always fascinated me, and I chose the name to frame a
hypothetical future of synthetic worlds, told with sound,' Davide says. 'I
like to imagine the howls of creatures inhabiting solar systems outside our
own. Rarefied atmospheres, alien sequences, and unfamiliar tonal scales. So,
I see Pianeti Sintetici as an open-ended design research project where I can
explore these inspirations.' Esplora I ('explore') is the first record in a trilogy
scheduled for release in 2023. It comes wrapped in a custom-cut embossed
sleeve adorned with a captivating interpretation by Hypnus' visual artist
Gabriella Holmstrom. Early support from Brando Lupi, Iori, Takaaki Itoh,

Pianeti
Sintetici ('synthetic planets' in Italian) is a new conceptual project by
Davide Perrone (Primal Code) that draws inspiration from the factories of
Magrathea, a planet in Douglas Adams' classic space opera The Hitchhiker's
Guide to the Galaxy, where artificial planets are manufactured on commission.
'This concept has always fascinated me, and I chose the name to frame a
hypothetical future of synthetic worlds, told with sound,' Davide says. 'I
like to imagine the howls of creatures inhabiting solar systems outside our
own. Rarefied atmospheres, alien sequences, and unfamiliar tonal scales. So,
I see Pianeti Sintetici as an open-ended design research project where I can
explore these inspirations.' Esplora I ('explore') is the first record in a trilogy
scheduled for release in 2023. It comes wrapped in a custom-cut embossed
sleeve adorned with a captivating interpretation by Hypnus' visual artist
Gabriella Holmstrom. Early support from Brando Lupi, Iori, Takaaki Itoh,
Unjin, Eric Cloutier, Forest on Stasys, Konduku, and Saphileaum |

Following an outing on celebrated
Italian label Cosmic Garden, Dynamic duo XPRESSION ready their Low Battery
debut with four expressive cuts of jungle laced magic, with deep roots in the
quintessential era of rave. 'Nitebreak' moves effortlessly across five
minutes of cosmic acid and contemplative rhythms; flickering street lamps
lighting the nocturnal city as day turns to night. 'Quadranite' diverts to a
steadier pace, its springy percussion, vocal samples and zero gravity grooves
giving off the nostalgic energy of a homecoming visit. The B side opens with
'Sacred Sessions', a primal slice of breakbeat heaven. Ethereal pads spill
out amongst earthy drums in a spiritual relationship between body and soul.
'Quiet Earth' gently brings us back around as the midnight fire slowly begins

Berlin
based producer Estella Boersma announced themselves with a debut on Unknown
to the Unknown's Dance Trax imprint and a string of appearances in the
infamous HOR bathroom have followed - including one at Crave Festival -
generating a positive stream count thanks to their varied DJing style;
floating between techno, bass, breaks, electro and old school rave. Now
capping a huge breakout 2022, Estella serves up four assorted club cuts that
perfectly exemplify the energy felt frontleft at one of their sets. 'The
Wave' is the most quintessential Estella track on the release - brimming with
acid, breakbeats and warehouse rave energy, channelling older XL
Recordings-inspired sounds and modern-punk electronic aesthetics. 'Dial' is
frantic, strippedback and raw - an angelic, colourful techno trip through
pixelated palm trees and psychedelic sunrises. 'Transfer' drains the colour
from its fabric as light turns to dark. Headsy, underground appeal blends
with bouncy fun on a cut of wobbly 4x4 that sounds like something you might
hear in a Chloe Robinson set, before high pitched-vocals and sped-up synths
dazzle and delight with something that sits between techno, footwork and
classic Chicago house |

Half
a year after the Dutch DJ/producer's debut release on his new
Maximalist_Minimalist imprint, SAMA makes his return with MXMN002. Cementin
the venture into his new, gritty sound, the release sees his pitch-perfect
production moulded into another set of four hard-hitting, club-ready techno
tracks. Leading the release, 'End All' combines gritty shakers, hard kicks,
and synth stabs for an eerie, atmospheric lead track. 'Kill The Heat' follows
with dark arpeggiators over modulating rhythms and robust drums. On the flip,
'Forced To Revolt' kicks off the B-side with an intense vibe, placing the
focus on evolving and interweaving synthesis, before 'Tripping Over Wires'
closes the release with its groovy percussion and trippy melodic
