ALL were produced by Johan Gustafsson, the bassist of The Hives. A large part
of the tracks were written during the corona pandemic and for the band there
is a lot of blood, sweat and tears in the making of the album. But now GOD

On the evening of Nov. 21, 1970,
Pink Floyd held a concert at the Casino de Montreux in Switzerland, while a
second afternoon show, starting at 2>30 p.m., was added to the schedule in
extremis for the next day, Nov. 22. From that performance is taken the
recording contained on this set. From the freshly released "Atom Heart
Mother" here's the title track (performed without orchestra) and
"Green Is The Colour" is the only track on the set list to last
less than 11 minutes |

Prize In Sport was their first for Polydor, the band's competency at a peak,

the Southall Crew supporters when Pablo LaBrittain broke his arm. Often
ranked as the greatest album of their entire career, The Biggest Prize In
Sport had noticeably smoother edges than their earlier work, yet still

Dance
music powerhouse Deeptrax follows up recent dispatches from Joey Anderson and
Caim, with a label debut from fellow Dutch techno stalwart Robert Vosmeijer
AKA De Sluwe Vos, who offers a 5-track collection that explores the depths of
both music and sound. Crafted during the pandemic, Vosmeijer, who had been
experimenting with ambient music and sound design, found himself longing for
the dancefloor and its ability to disconnect you from reality whilst
reconnecting you with friends. As such he began digging into his record
collection, absorbing sounds and reenergising his creative output. "I
loved making these records because it felt like I could express myself,
within the 'De Sluwe Vos' project, again." The Patron Records boss' new
Terraforming EP opens with 'Reeeese', a heavyweight ode to the legendary bass
sound that underpins the track with its thick layer of treacly warmth. Solar
Prince turns our focus on percussion, with its xylophone melody dancing
between vaporised synths and string-laced stabs, to create a soothing and yet
urgent soundtrack. On the flip, title track Terraforming, with its wonderful
analogue crackles and hisses, lets the pulsing sub steal the show again as
pressurised hats snappily punch holes in the atmosphere. Jupiter's Universe
exudes a roughly cut techno 2step, layered with pulsing cosmic synths and
bubbling melody. Finally the EP is rounded off by Crawford. Another track
that perfectly rides the intersection of music production and sound design.
It's cosmic keys and scything synths work almost at odds with the tribal roll
of his drums, yet come together to create a mature and unique production |

Records, is proud to welcome - Shuya - to its roster. The Japanese producer
whose influences come mostly from the Noise Scene, began his sonic journey as
a singer and guitarist with the experimental avant-garde group called Qujaku.
With his s/h/u/y/a solo project he keeps a noise-industrial attitude to his
electronic music productions. The beginning of his collaboration with KR3 was
therefore inevitable. The artist and the label share a mutual approach to
sound, with the processing of raw materials into scratchy, deep and mental
beats playing a key part in their interpretation of Techno. The Sleeper EP -
is the first vinyl release under this pseudonym. The cover art is curated by
the designer Pablo I Prada, who says about his works: "I try to capture
human evil in my paintings". With his music, Shuya does exactly the
same. His productions are a disturbing mixture of noise-techno that perfectly
evokes the infernal spirit of human existence that also appears in the
artwork. The Sleeper, is a cerebral, red-painted sonic assault. The intro and
outro are composed by recordings of his voice and guitar riff |

Dance
music has always been grounded in a sense of place. Chicago, Detroit, London,
Berlin--a zip code can tell you as much about the music as the year it was
made. But beyond the nuts and bolts of the here and now lies a netherzone
where some of the best electronic music floats, impossible to pin down.
Swayzak's Snowboarding in Argentina is one such record. The title hints at
its uncanny placelessness. The music has nothing outwardly to do with
Argentina, for one thing. The work of UK producers David Nicholas Brown and
James S. Taylor, it was recorded in a number of locations--mostly
bedrooms--around London. Yet there is little that is quintessentially British
about the music. Instead, Brown and Taylor drew much of their inspiration
from, on the one hand, the luminous chords and silky heft of Detroit techno,
and on the other, the staccato drums and clipped textures that were then
beginning to bubble out of Berlin and Cologne. That brings us to the question
of time. For if Snowboarding in Argentina belongs to nowhere, it is equally a
product of nowhen. On a practical level, the music took shape in the mid to
late 1990s, although it took nearly 10 years for it to come to fruition.
Brown and Taylor began jamming on instruments, then machines, in the late
1980s. Then, after Brown suffered a serious car accident, the two musicians
began working together more seriously. Trial and error yielded a promising
single with a downtempo vibe that a hired-gun studio producer promptly
ruined; Swayzak retreated to their bedrooms. They learned about Chain
Reaction from a radio show, found new ways to burrow into the circuitry of
their machines, and by 1996 they had hit upon their sound. The core of
Snowboarding in Argentina appeared on a series of three two-track singles in
1997. (Taylor brought 10 copies of the first to Berlin's Hard Wax, sold them
directly to the shop for a fistful of Deutschmarks, and turned around and
spent the money on records; that's how DIY electronic music worked in those
days.) The album itself appeared in 1998 on London's Pagan label and quickly
built a cult following. It was clear that the music was in conversation with
its contemporaries: Heard from the right angle, it was possible to imagine it
as a halfway point between the proto progressive house of Underworld and the
monochromatic minimalism of Kompakt. But it also didn't quite sound like
anything else around; it was a dispatch from an unknown territory that needed
no special understanding to decipher. A quarter century later, Snowboarding
in Argentina sounds simply eternal. Certain hallmarks of '90s production are
available--the music's almost murky warmth is a reminder of what electronic
music sounded like before software swallowed everything into its digital
maw--but there's nothing dated about it. The exploratory nature of these
tracks, as the result of experimenting with their machines' limitations,
never eclipses their musical or emotional essence. Long since been deemed a
classic, Snowboarding in Argentina remains an underdog in the annals of
electronic music. Its semi-obscurity was surely not helped by the decision to
publish nine of its original 12 tracks on the CD, and seven on the vinyl,
with only four appearing on both formats. Twenty-five years after its
original release, Lapsus' Perennial Series edition unites, for the first
time, all the album's tracks as a single triple-vinyl package, rounding out
the 12 original songs with previously unreleased material. Working off the
original DAT premasters, Swayzak have created new edits of all the tracks.
The result might be considered the definitive edition of the album as it was
meant to be, after a 25-year journey. It seems fitting that an album so
timeless would continue morphing throughout its lifespan. For fans, it's the
chance to hear a beloved album as never before. And for newcomers, it's the
perfect introduction to a record that, in its own quiet way, reshaped the
sound of electronic music, opening up new frontiers unbound by cartography or
calendars |

Chontane
returns to Mutual Rytm with a more raw and aggressive sound than before
across six powerful new tracks on his latest EP, 'Permanent'. Berlin-based
Ukrainian DJ/producer Chontane has had a busy twelve months. Capped off by
recently launching his own new TANE label, the exciting talent has been
working hard to reinvent and refresh his sound in the studio. Mastering new
techniques to push things to the next level, this EP and return to SHDW &
Obscure Shape's Mutual Rytm proves he has succeeded and then some. Where
previous works on the likes of ARTS and Rekids were full and more melodic,
here he has restricted himself and gone for a more visceral sound. Developed
and built in all new ways with an innovative approach to sound design and
arrangement, the tracks on the package showcase a more serious and
harder-hitting side to his sound as he unveils his impactful 'Permanent' EP.
Opener 'Graze' has a monstrous feel to it, with ghoulish synth loops and
industrial textures all coming on strong and heavy. As it bangs along,
incendiary hi-hats and lithe pads all bring extra weight and detail. 'Cumaru'
is a highpaced techno workout with a frenzy of synths and percussion, all
making for dense layers of heavily textured sound. 'Schima' brings some big
techno bounce in the drums and more hurried, rusty synth loops that lock you
into the darkness. Showing yet another side, 'Lauan' is a little more paired
back with pounding tribal grooves and bright synths, bringing relentless yet
funk-fuelled intensity. 'Vevis' is the most melodic of the lot - a heavy
track but with subtle optimism in the rising background synths that will
surely get hands in the air. Last of all is digital bonus 'Makore', a
cauldron of intensity with scraping hits and relentless drums, vastly
oversized hi-hats and slamming bass. This high-impact, beautifully brutal yet
groove-heavy techno takes Chontane's sound into new realms, and delivers an
impressive return on a label continuing to push the genre forward. Chontane

To
mark EPM’s 20th anniversary we’ve been releasing a series of EPs, each one
focussing on a different genre. In May we brought you a taste of Techno with
Robert Hood, Ben Sims, James Ruskin and Mark Broom each delivering their
distinct production skills, whilst this September sees the release of our
second EP bringing together cuts by some of Electro’s leading lights - The
Advent & Zein Ferreira, Carl Finlow, Detroit’s Filthiest and Modulator
(a.k.a. Freddie Fresh). For the third and final EP in the series we turn our
attention to House music, and once again we’ve commissioned four brand new
and exclusive tracks from artists who we’ve had the pleasure to work with
over the years. First up is none other than a Detroit Techno founding father
and the TechnoSoul innovator himself Eddie Fowlkes, who delivers a classy
opener in ‘1-2-3’ that’s deep yet vibrant and showcases his legendary status.
Next is a fellow Motor City modernizer, Jon Dixon whose musicianship and
productive talent takes him from jazz to techno which he skilfully brings to
‘Mack & Bewick’. Motech Records’ founder DJ 3000 brings us the spirit of
‘Summer 1995’ as he briefly steps away from techno to give us this uplifting
sun-drenched stunner. Final track ‘The Beat’ comes from Rico & Sonny, the
pseudonym of Chicago based DJ duo and production team of Adam Stolz and the
talented Tim Baker, recorded before his devastating and untimely passing. His
music lives on and we’d like to dedicate this EP to him. The ‘EPM20’
compilation which features all the tracks from the EPs plus additional cuts
from a host of other artists and EPM friends will follow this autumn |

de Witte’s breakthrough to the top of the electronic music scene in 2019 with
her signature sonic approach that refuses to be boxed in, Overdrive is a
reflection of this ethos. The EP aims to showcase street style that is both
rough and energizing, while delivering high-energy tracks meant to pull
listeners into the fast-paced thrill that unlocks one's turbocharged version
of themselves. “While making Overdrive, I didn’t fully realize how applicable
the lyrics are to my philosophy of life,” said de Witte. “The fast-paced
tempo, which goes full force without looking back, is all about the feeling
of being on the edge and living life to the fullest.” Best known for her
“dark and stripped-back” brand of techno and underground music, DJ, record producer,
and label head de Witte pushes the boundaries of the electronic genre with
music that has a distinct and unforgettable sound that is uniquely her own.
De Witte’s innovative ability allows her to seamlessly blend genres and
styles that have won her a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim. CdW x NYC
Takeover: De Witte is set to debut the Overdrive EP for the first time at
upcoming shows at The Brooklyn Mirage in New York City on May 18 and May 19,
2023. The shows will serve as an ode to the raw fierce spirit that breathes
in the corners of the city. The Brooklyn Mirage shows are one aspect within
the Overdrive Campaign, which includes a larger New York City takeover,
consisting of a KNTXT pop-up apparel store at Extra Butter on the Lower East Side.
The KNTXT pop-up at Extra Butter, May 16 - May 20, will offer exclusive
merchandise and apparel with designs inspired by the EP and feature guest
performances from artists from and related to the label. It will also mark
the first time KNTXT merchandise will be sold in the United States, making it
an eagerly awaited event for fans. “Overdrive is a love story between hip hop
and techno, it’s inspired by both genres, but coated in a techno jacket,”
said de Witte. “It’s meant to be played loud while driving at night and
watching the city lights pass by, and where better to experience that than in
New York City?” Overdrive marks de Witte’s first release since her single
“High Street,” and first EP on her KNTXT label since her last EP, “Apollo”
which was released in October 2022 as well as her collaboration with fellow
techno artist Enrico Sangiuliano on the “Reflection” EP in March 2023. De
Witte had previously worked with Sangiuliano on their remix of “The Age Of
Love”, which amassed over 40 million streams on Spotify and achieved
certified gold status in Belgium. De Witte’s other recent releases include
her “Universal Consciousness” EP in 2022 and her “Formula” EP in 2021, which
featured the chart-topping lead track “Doppler” |

Myrddin tells mysterious stories and fairy tales with endless intervals of
notes on his guitar, Imre hypnotises your soul with the sound waves of her
cello.” Myrddin De Cauter, the youngest son of multi-instrumentalist musician
Koen De Cauter, is a phenomenon in the world of contemporary music. As a
teenager, he discovered the richness and originality of the flamenco guitar.
To further develop the subtleties in his already masterful playing, he went
to Spain to take lessons with some of the masters of flamenco guitar: Gerardo
Nuñez, Manolo Sanlucar, … His technical virtuosity, taste for experimentation
and deep lyrical sensibility merge into a unique musical world. It turns out
that Myrddin is not just a flamenco guitarist, but an exceptional multifaceted
talent. This talent, passed down through many generations, now expresses
itself again in Myrddin's daughter Imre. At only four years old, she received
her first cello. In 2018, she made her debut together with her father at the
Gent Jazz Festival. Now five years later, on their debut album Zwaluwe,
together they take us on a journey that finds its origin in Myrddin's written
compositions. Imre knows and feels the music of her virtuoso father like no
other. She complements him in a sensitive, cutting and unctuous way. Making a
perfect blend of sharp and soft. The album was recorded in a small chapel in
remote Valouse, a village in the Drome region of southern France. “While

be missed. But as rough as their music may sound - there is a soft core
behind the hard shell. The garage duo released their debut album 'Damage
Control in 2023 almost two years after their formation. As the title
suggests, it's about nothing less than getting through life and its everyday
hurdles as unscathed as possible. In the twelve songs, the two deal with
topics such as the search for affection, pain, depression and life (and
death) in capitalism. In doing so, they illustrate how a society that is
incapable or unwilling to think outside existing categories affects its own
well-being as well as interpersonal relationships. CAVA - and they make no
