The vinyl format with the new
exclusive tracks from first Audiomatique mix CD splits over two separate
12“es. AM10 is the second Volume 1.2 including 3 exclusive Tracks by newcomer
CDjjj and 2 well known producers. CDjjj is Giancarlo Giusti, a newcomer from
Barcelona. „Playmate“ is a deep, dark & heavy Techno-piece with a
punching kick and eerie acid synths. Alexi Delano, known also for his
A.D.N.Y. or ADJD recordings, needs no further introduction. Here he teams up
with Fernando Gullon of the Sindicato Crew. „When It Rains In Madrid“ is a
highly seductive fleetfooted track with great sounds. Huggotron, one of John
Dahlbäck‘s alter egos, contributes a dark acid piece with broken vocals |

The
Adultnapper is Francis Harris from Brooklyn, New York, a shrewd & clever
coeval who reveals his vision of modern electronic dancemusic on his first EP
for Audiomatique entitled “Gravity EP". Following releases on his
Matter:/Form imprint, his track “Choose” has recently been included on the
much acclaimed Audiomatique Vol. 1.0 CD. Now the Gravity EP holds three new
cold twinkling Techno tracks. The well-read producer carefully chose the
tracknames which refer to what he considers as greatest novel of the 20th
century: „Gravitys Rainbow“ by Thomas Pynchon. Much of his relationship with
music coincides with his love of literature. When he is working on tunes, he
tends to have a specific project or concept in mind. At the time, he was
thinking of some specific moments in the novel and this music came to mind.
The first track an the a-side named „Fodder Feeder“ refers to the material
production of knowledge in media and capital, a feedback loop of control that
works in its apparent flaws and mistakes. If one notices, the main synth that
comes in is a bit odd and almost out of time, but works in a grinding sort of
way |

After
some very well received releases for the likes of Renaissance and Kickboxer
records, Stephan Hinz, who has also turned out some hot tracks alongside
Martin Eyerer, presents ‚Bacala‘. Its a cheekily warped excursion into Hinz‘s
deep and melancholic dancefloor world, spurred on by a great theme melody, as
if you found yourself in the middle of a medieval rave after a long and
victorious battle! Tight, familiar percussion works the groove, building
towards a dramatic break which introduces more layers of synthesised wonder!
Check this in the main room for maximum effect. Audiomatique key player
Adultnapper‘s remix comes on strong, with a tougher drive and a slightly more
freaked out vibe. Trademark hissing percussion works over a finely tuned
minimal groove, eventually allowing that haunting melody to show its colours.
Designed for the more freaky floors, yet still focused on melody and
progression, its another great example of Adultnapper‘s remixing skills.

Sideshow
began in 2003 with the release of ‘Sound Of Today’ on Simple, evolving into a
deep broken percussive sound with lashings of melody. Sideshow’s grown
alongside the success of his more established alter ego Fink (Ninja Tune), a
well respected producer, remixer and DJ. The sound was born of a need to play
pure dance music, initially created as the antithesis to the sample heavy,
turntablist Ninja culture but drawing on the experience. ‘Sound of Today’ was
followed in 2004 with ‘The Slide EP’, a delicious and twisted slice of deep
percussive house, featuring the first remix by the Canadian tech lord Mathew
Jonson. After Fink co-produced the Will Saul album “Space Between” for Simple
and put his dub-blues Fink album to bed, Sideshow got back in the studio and
comes straight back at us with his latest genre bending business, a fitting
debut on Will Saul’s new experimental label Aus. Over the coming months he’s
touring live with his band as Fink, creating new material for Mat Jonson’s
Wagon Repair and for Aus.The ‘Scary Biscuits EP’ is three tracks of icy
beats, broken house and dubstep brought together by Sideshows stripped back
and delicious production |

Up and coming Belgium-born
activist Philippe Petit, operator of the Knotweed and Decision Making Theory
labels, returns to Figure SPC with a delightfully versatile four tracker.
Spanning cold-wavesynth electronics, purist club techno and up-building melodic
zones, its perhaps Petits strongest effort yet. Capturing a neo-classical,
archaic mood in >Mist<, Philippe works stunning cyclic synth themes
along with tactile filtering drum patterns. >Solaris< and >Negative
Zone< then both work stand-out tracky, trippy elements into two killer
club weapons, showing off the frenchmans studio skills. The lighter footprint
of >Suspended< closes the EP with a joyful, above the clouds journey,
lifting up weightlessly into the ether |

Figure continues its new limited
edition hybrid disc x.5 series with a special 2 track offering from Johannes
Heil. >Kykeon I< represents an unabashed, smiles-abound floor-filler
with one of Heils most joyful and accessible productions to date. A perfect
heady cocktail of slamming 90s drums and uplifting housestab melodies, the
german producer has really struck a chord here with this future club-classic.
The spaced out stepping beats of >Kykeon II< then, sit in welcome
contrast to the all out madness of its bigger brother. Subtle, intelligent
