Devoted to the art of movement is
the first record from NSS (No spiritual surrender) a duo formed by J.C. (AHD
co-owner together with Damian Schwartz) and Kastil This E.P. centers it's
attention towards electro, but continue AHD's heritage of giving a twist to
those 90s sounds that influenced us so much, from early IDM to Detroit, all
is present here. The opening track is is the one that gives the EP it's name,
an acid stomper build around an electro beat that builds up and down
fiercely. The track maintains it's tension throughout it's whole length by
building strings and arpeggios over it's acid sequence, never transferring
it's beat to a straight kick, capturing the attention since it's first
second. 'Proposed Playground' is build around a more steady electro beat,
strings and sounds merge themselves around the beat to create a beautifully
hypnotic piece where where some background melodies tickle our ears bringing
memories from IDM golden years |

Spanish producer Psyk (a.k.a.
Maan or Manuel Anós) is an audio technician who makes good on his name; each
of his new releases acting like a steely sonic probe to be launched into the

Distane) is solid and elemental techno as ever: it fits neatly into the

The dancefloor has been at the
center of our music production since the very beginning, but even then we
felt the need to express something else. The debut album "Unwise"
represents our first step towards musicalmaturity. This emerged out of an
organic, natural process that was inevitably shaped by the contrasts between
us of temperament and imagination. Throughout production, the evocation of
intimate feelings and atmospheres was an essential goal of this project.
Harmonizing an unlikely mixture of musical influences and inspirations, these
tracks were composed along the edges of a few perfect parallels between us

Stroboscopic
Artefacts rip into autumn with a masterful split vinyl. SA006 sees Jonas Kopp
taking to the A-side with the punishingly good “Alkitran” and the flip side
picks up where the Monad Series left off with Markus Suckut’s “Vary”.
“Alkitran” writhes hissing and spitting into existence. Snares lash across
the opening, to be replaced by subaqueous grumbles and whirling from above.
The title “Alkitran” begs no translation; the track’s sticky, black palette
and viscous textures effortlessly communicate the notion of tar. Markus
Suckut’s “Vary” takes the opposite tact; his dark tones are built amid
structures that are suffused with light and dappled with the grindingly
ecstatic. This is superbly elegant techno that has refused to sacrifice any
of its hardness in order to achieve elegance. The digital release contains
two tools extracted by label owner Lucy. Striped down, but simultaneously
turned up, he takes the tracks in a distinctly IDM

side on here, one track being a utterly monstrous machine of rhythm, another
showing quite a contemplative side to his music making. The flipside goes
into an entirely different realm with Skoog's "Slip" where we find
combined sessions of distorted, roughly drawn out sound sketches beneath
continuous streams of paranoid sequences, flowing overhead. The brand new
collaboration duo Chain marks here their first release under this name with
their contribution to the Ep and deliver an instantly recognizable, and

After
Jonas Kopp's well-received debut album 'Beyond the Hypnosis', released on
Tresor Records in November 2014, the Argentinian returns to the label with a
powerful and club-oriented EP, 'HHH'. Over the past 10 years Kopp has
explored and found himself confortable in many genres of music ranging from
housey beats to hypnotic techno. This particular release nds itself
comfortably in the middle of a dark and dusty dance oor. 'Khaa' opens the EP with a deep pumping bass
as schizophrenic chords intermingle with hi-hats to form a stimulating
composition full of energy. Conversely, 'Nahn' unfolds in parallel structure,
cheeky yet with a smoother bassline to ease delivery in a more more melodious
way. 'Hank' unfurls with a thunderous
stomping bass which cracks upon each beat sending you into a frenetic march
while sinister atmospheres appear overhead. 'Sinstro' yields a whole new
ambiance, with fraught chords pattering on the surface, while spatial airy
moods climax throughout the piece to stimulate the mind. Finally, the digital bonus track 'Nekh'
brings the story full circle with a bold opening cut which builds into a cosmic

Celebrating all that's
ear-piercing and Techno, P.E.A.R.L. surges through with an emanating
soundscape of near, far and leftfield embodiment of energy. Following on from
the well received Ground Fault Interrupt, P.E.A.R.L. brings his Spanish

American-born Eric Cloutier has
long been a purveyor of meticulously crafted DJ sets holding residencies
around the world as well as talent scouting for the mythic label Bunker New
York. Recently beginning to release his own material, he carries the same
approach and attitude into his productions has he has done in the past with
his epic DJ sets. Deep, mysterious, and mesmerizing, have been used to
describe his sound, which can be undoubtedly recognized in the smooth

Here comes the second chapter of
our limited Pattern Series. Oscar Mulero delivers three tracks of precise
techno, deep and elaborated. "Balance and Acceleration" runs at
medium tempos with a scientific sequence as absolute protagonist, spiced with
shuffled hi hats, subtle kick drum and a linear but evolving structure.
"Pain" has a more liquid approach in the beginning, low-pass
filtered bass, bright percussions and a subterranean sequence that grows
along white-noise lines in a constantly changing arrangement.
"Kinesthetic Science" goes through similar parameters: flanged
sequences, filtered drums and an overall electric feeling. Three slices of
