is a four track release by Helsinki based DJ/Producer Kitkatone. The release
includes two original tracks with two remixes by techno masters Woo York and
Attemporal. Starting off the release, A1, 'Oppressor', is a slightly old
school tune - raw and beautiful blend between House and Techno. The following
'Woo York Remix' turns the track to a ruthless techno beast with a hint of
industrial vibe. B1, 'Remainder', presents a darker atmosphere with crude and
fierce banging and mid-winter gloominess. The closing track 'Attemporal
Remix' brings in a deep and spacey brooding, bonding the release into an
extremely sterling techno pack. Hannu Ikola is a Finnish artist and owner of
the Etherwerks label, releasing his third record on the imprint. "Chrysalis"
is a four track opus of raw and swarthy techno. In the tracks Ikola's musical
inspiration from experimental and ambient music can be heard.
"Etherwerks' fifth release presents a new artist for the label, Rasmus
Hedlund. Besides his unique techno sound Hedlund is also known by his
acclaimed ambient and dub releases on his own Ljudverket label |

hablaba de drogas, delincuencia y gente que no se adaptaba al sistema no
salía de las bandas punks sino de los suburbios marginales de las grandes
ciudades. Entre gitanos y chabolas se gestó la rumba quinqui, que se
popularizó gracias a todo el cine quinqui de los 80, películas como "El
Vaquilla", "Perros callejeros" o "El pico" y bandas
como Los Chunguitos, Los Chicos, Los Travilis, Los Calis o Tony el Gitano. La
Década Taleguera ha recuperado esas canciones que marcaron nuestra infancia y

this series opens up with Christian Wunsch's remix of "Ex Machina"
on the A-side - which is all hypnotic bounce, roaring chords, cutting through
the irrepressible groove. Mørbeck's remix of "Ghost Town" on A2 is
an atmospheric but tough interpretation of the original, kicking hard with
jackhammered drums, coupled with metal scraping metal sounds and a simplicity
that makes it a handy tool to build great tension on the dance-floor. The
B-side kicks off with Jonas Kopps's remix of "Miscellaneous Pt. 1"
- creatively pairing the heavy rolling 909 drums with a classic
four-on-the-floor clap pattern and topped with the eroded drones of the
original track. B2 is a re-mastered version of the utterly timeless and epic

The
exceptional music mechanic Robert Hood is firmly back in business for 2011,
kick-starting the new decade with more M-Plant excellence. James Ruskin takes
a break from an impressive release offensive on his own Blueprint label to
remix 'Alpha', the first single that was taken from 'Omega', Robert Hood's
concept album of last year, which not only received immense support from the
current tech-loving club and radio DJ fraternity but also gathered top rated
reviews across international press. The remix adds a touch of Ruskin magic to
this A-side. While maintaining the essence of Hood's initial track, James
provides a fresh outlook that is sure to be as well received as the original.
This grooving percussive workout just exudes quality. Over on the B-side Hood
delivers a brand new track called 'The Family'. This is classic Robert Hood
with its unrelenting rhythm, powerful bassline and a good dose of the funk.

For
the next release on M-Plant, Robert Hood revisits his Floorplan moniker,
delivering three new tracks as the 'Sanctified' extended player. With
Floorplan, Robert Hood blends techno elements with disco, house and soul to
create a real party vibe. He first introduced it in the mid 90s with 'Funky
Souls', originally on his own Drama sub-label but re-released last year.
While more recently his 'Move It' track as Floorplan was a major highlight on
EPM Music's 10th anniversary compilation, 'EPM10'. On 'Sanctified EP', 'We
Magnify His Name' is a classic example of the Floorplan ethos. Hood layers
gospel vocals and a joyous atmosphere over a funked out disco backbone. 'Baby
Baby' will have dancefloors jumping too, with its clipped, staccato vox and
pumping bassline, taking it back to that tracky Chicago sound for this party
pleaser. The EP ends on 'Basic Principle', the techiest of the three tracks,
though still removed from Hood's usual dark minimal techno; as Floorplan this
is more like dark house.2011 has also seen Robert take this sound further
onto the dancefloor with special Floorplan DJ sets, rocking the likes of

on from his Floorplan album and November's Floorplan EP, Robert Hood returns
with a new double header on M-Plant, to close 2013. It's proven to be another
incredible year for Robert Hood. On the production front we've witnessed two
singles from his 'Motor: Nighttime World 3' album on Music Man, with remixes
by Ø [Phase] and UR's Mad Mike, the release of his long-awaited debut
Floorplan album, 'Paradise', followed by the recent Floorplan EP, as well as
the sterling remixes he's turned out for other artists. A demanding DJ and
live schedule has seen him continue to bring his unique sound, first-rate
skills and spiritual attitude around the globe, whether it's in clubs, at

Finally a European version of the long overdue
LOS CRUDOS Discography collection. LOS CRU/DOS, formed in Chicago-s Pilsen
neighbourhood in the early 90-s, are a a Chicano punk band with a strong
socio/political message and an extremely militant DIY attitude.. They sang in
Spanish, with aggression and conviction and that made their message spread
out widely, reaching thousands of Spanish speaking punks both in Latin
America and Spain as well as inside USA. The band split up in 1998 after a
really intense year of touring and reformed in 2008. The band will be
undertaking their first ever Scandinavian tour in July& August 2016. This
collection, originally released as a benefit for MRR magazine last year,
includes all the LOS CRUDOS output plus compilation tracks as well as a
couple demo tracks and an unreleased song. The European version comes in a
gatefold sleeve and brings a 40 page booklet with flyers and the lyrics of
all songs |

that the new record from the inventors of hyper punk *Michael Zuckle( was the
german 9&11 is complete nonsense, of course, and therefore should not be
repeated again. Instead, here are the 4 most fucked/up facts regarding the
new album by JAPANISCHE KAMPFHÖRSPIELE> @The Golden Anthropocene@ is the
first album in the band-s 18/year history with an english title. Will this
result in the eagerly awaited international breakthrough_ We sure don-t hope
so. Yin Yang JAKA_ Not at all! While the JAKA/style always meant distilling
something out of many wrongs, recorded in passing and corrected / if at all /
on the way to development, yet mostly simply kept in its original form, this
new album has been meticulously planned, thought through and recorded in a
proper *!( studio. Mixing was carried out by star producer Carsten
Benninghoff on / no shit! / a garbage dump. Mastering by legendary Tim
Schuldt in the world famous 4CN/studios in Bochum. The album features a total
of 20 tracks, amongst others several short/term prose like on
@Luxusvernichtung@. At least here JAKA stick to their origins |

We welcome Birth of Frequency
back to our label, after his original appearance on our Unknown Landscapes
series Volume 3, by Exium. Two original tracks of scientific and complex
techno, plus two remixes by Oscar Mulero and Zadig. 'The Spelling' is a multilayered
sequenced anthem made of countless synth sounds, a punchy kick and an
hypnotic arrangement, for those heady moments on the dance floor. Paris
techno founder Zadig remakes 'The Spelling'. He adds hypnotising, devastating
drum machines and makes the synth line grow and disappear wisely. 'Gate'
returns to medium tempos, fattens the sound and goes for a deeper discourse.
A construction tool for clubby action. Oscar Mulero remakes 'Gate' by
twisting it completely, adding random step sequences and harmonies, giving
the kick a secondary role, and focusing on the essence of the groove |

After his EP together with Ness,
Giorgio Gigli returns to Planet Rhythm with another Italian collaboration.
This time he is joined in the studio by Roman talent VSK. Whilst Gigli is
known for his hypnotic productions on labels such as Prologue and his own
Zooloft, VSK has been steadily releasing bangers on labels such as
EarToGround and recently Perc Trax. Both gentleman's styles are blended
flawlessly together in a masterful EP. Reverb soaked sounds are effortlessly
merged with powerful kicks and basslines. From the haunting atmosphere on
"Silent Age" to the trademark VSK synthwork on the B-side, this
special collaborative debut is one that we surely hope to to present again on
Planet Rhythm |

Reissue of one of Amsterdam's
most respected producers Steve Rachmad aka Sterac 's essential 1996 Detroit
techno classic. Remastered and available with full color Artwork! Sterac is
considered an excellent producer and he is one of the Dutch pioneers of Detroit
techno, producing this absolute classic back in 1996. On the A side you'll
find Osirion, a track built on a classic drumloop layered with Rachmad style
arppegiators and euphoric strings. The B side features a more abstract 909
Detroit infused loop, full of heavy synths and percussion. Both tracks have
stood the test of time and still sound fresh as ever |

RLGN the artist that hides behind the "SRNDR" acronym has again
something to say. "Forward From Past Lives" is his last exploration
into the conscious, memories and mind. Dark, visceral and uncompromising as
usual the track takes the pulsating elements already present in his frst work
to a next level, stimulating a sort of hypnosis in the audience. Juho Kusti
take over the B-Side this time with a stunning personal reinterpretation of
the title track that rewards the patient listener. Comes with handstamped A4

records welcomes back Hiroaki Iizuka for the its fifth outing. Having
supplied the 'The Run' as the labels first record, here Iizuka doubles its
play time and track listing length in his stunning Voodoo EP. The extra time
offered allows Iizuka to flex more of his versatile style. THEM as a label
sets out to eschew a Techno norm largely made up of a traditional 4 x 4
sound. Having come from a London background, the curating of the label gives
a nod to the rave sounds of the Capital - especially D&B, Garage,
Breakbeat Hardcore and Grime. That is to say of course along with its
characteristic aesthetic of Horror and The Gothic. In Iizuka THEM found a
common ground: Based in Hokkaido, Japan, Iizuka does not share the same
London influences, yet shares their base values and thrust. Common themes of
his sound involve broken and syncopated beats, and a rave energy. This is
what lead him to being the first and prime THEM stable artist. Voodoo EP
showcases this breadth of Iizuka's style, from tracks that could easily fit
into any Grime set, such as Primitive Acid, to the more melodic tones of
Floating Point, in which Hiroaki guides THEM into previously untrodden ground
for the imprint |

Token's 60th release comes from
label mainstay Ctrls, whose tight bond with the imprint continues with this
seventh exclusive EP. Following last year's Two Worlds EP, Nonuser takes
Ctrls club focused sound to new heights, delivering rolling percussion alongside
twisting, distorted leads and thundering bass lines. The EP opens with
Vocabulary. A rigid percussive framework provides the perfect, albeit heavy
backdrop to the track's distorted, detuned pads and tightly enveloped,
morphing lead. Nonuser's title track takes dancers into slightly more bizarre
territory. Its unrelenting kick drum propels staccato, cut up hi hats
alongside a sporadic melody that falls slightly outside the grid. The release
ends with The Wave, a subtler track. Timbre rich chords fade in and out over
a thick and rolling low end. Uneven claps complete this atmospheric
production, which ends dissolving into the chords and drones built up over
the preceding five minutes |
