3rd solo release on the label. Manchester-based producer Cleric continues to
grow through his own Clergy imprint with the label's 7th release, Rules Of
Reality. The EP is an exercise in fully-focused. highly-distilled techno
purity, leading first with a perpetuating drum groove offset against an icy
stab on 'Unwritten Future'. Next, 'Unspoken Rules' channels the same
minimalistic aesthetic into a more hypnotic mood, driving deeper down into a
land of introspection with tension-laced percussion and hovering chords,
whilst 'Unwanted Arrival' exhausts the pressure with its mind-comsuming acid

A
great remix package from Billy Nasty's Electrix label. Very limited vinyl pressing.
One of the UK's longest running Electro acts, Transparent Sound feature on
the next EP from Billy Nasty's Electrix label, with three other mainstays of
the scene, Larry McCormick, Mr Velcro Fastener and Sync 24 all offering their
remix skills. Transparent Sound formed by Orson Bramley and Martin Bundock in
1994 have over 30 releases including 2 albums under their belt, many of which
were self-released on their own label or Electrix, plus appearances on Solid
Groove, Crayon, Colin Dale's Abstrakt Dance (their 'Freaks Frequency EP' for
the label is exchanging hands for upwards of £150!) and Exceptional who
released their 'Hair Cut Fantasy' album in 2005. Not ones to churn out
releases relentlessly (quality over quantity comes to mind) they have
nevertheless kept a steady flow to this day. Recently their 'Punk Mother
Fucker' 12' was re-released by Germany's Pressure Traxx who have also been
home to the likes of Einzelkind and Ricardo Villalobos |

It’s
a brave artist who takes on the task of remixing what many would regard as a
true ‘Classic’ record. Especially when said track holds it’s own personal
memories, having played it’s part in shaping their own musical path.Green
boss Joris Voorn has taken the plunge, by lending his skills to reworking
‘Mengs Theme', a true Dutch techno classic from Secret Cinema’s former alter
ego, Point Blank.“In the summer of 1996 I bought a CD from a friend of mine
called In Order To Dance 5. The music was intriguing to say the least. It was
an introduction to a variety kinds of techno, from experimental, hard and
minimal to soulful, warm and melodic.One of the tracks that stood out for me
was ‘Meng’s Theme’ by Point Blank (better known now as Secret Cinema). It was
a seven and half minute intense musical trip with overwhelmingly hypnotic
melodies and haunting percussion.‘Meng’s Theme’ has remained one of my very
favourite tracks since that summer and has always had a place in my record
box. To Re-release it on Green, alongside my a remix of my own, is a real
honour.” |

Fiedel
joins Ostgut Ton with his new Substance B 12'. Where to start besides
pointing out that Fiedel's debut solo release on Ostgut Ton has been long in
the coming, and that it's a glorious one at the same time. The
Berlin-Brandenburg native was there when the wall came down, started DJing in
the 1990s at Subversiv, began producing with Errorsmith as MMM in 1996, held
a residency at OstGut from 2000 on, continued doing so at Berghain since
2004, runs his own labels Fiedelone and Fiedeltwo, used to work at Hard Wax
record store and is a mainstay at Wax Treatment and Killasan Soundsystem. The
old hand of Berlin's Techno scene now presents himself fresh and in top form
with his first full-length O-TON record, following up on his already intense
contributions to our compilations Fünf (2010), Various (2013) and Ostgut Ton
| Zehn (2015) with an even stronger three-tracker. Fiedel's production style
breathes the spirit from the early days of Techno music: blending genres and
techniques, not focussing on a narrow musical narrative, combining Techno,
Acid, Electro, Jungle, Boogie, Dub music and Broken Beats |

the rhythm of heavy bass and massive drums, Disorder is an unrestrained EP,
conceived in an atmosphere of distortion, edging on a certain experimental
