AdMaiora
continues his unstoppable journey searching for the finest techno and tech
house. To celebrate our 16th release we will mainly focus on the techno world
with an exclusive EP from Tuscany born Marco Effe with Amsterdam based 2000
and One on the remix side. Marco has being pushed to the big audience by Sven
Vath in 2012, when he released on Cocoon his most famous track 'Jellied
Eels'. In the last couple of years he didn't stop producing music with
releases on labels such as Etruria Beat, On Edge Society and SCI+TEC to name
a few. In his debut EP on AdMaiora he
smashes with two original techno destroyers. 'Basewax' is an heads down
bigroom techno cut to set on fire any dancefloor with a nice combination of regular
techno drums and Detroit inspired synths. The second track called 'Rawhere'
is another distinctive raw gem which marks Marco as one of the most genuine
talent in the techno scene: massive pad shots, rhythmic toms and delayed
synths make of this one the next must-have for the summer. On the remix

Clash
Lion is a mix of three personalities; Shall Ocin, TERR and Daniel Watts.
Three artists with different musical backgrounds merging forces to create a
truly eclectic and open-minded label. After the success of their first
release from Maetrik firmly putting this label in the spotlight, it was
followed by releases from Shall Ocin and Daniel Watts. ANNA who started 2018
with the acclaimed 'Hidden Beauties' EP on Kompakt now comes back with a 3
track EP for Clash Lion. Her debut on the label kicks off with 'Suzi In
Transe', a roaring synth work drives this track into the deep and dark realms
of techno, but with an acid element thrown in for good measure. Ethereal yet
brooding, 'Impression' is a track that grows and grows. It's classical piano
stab perfectly blends into the mix, keeping its dancefloor ready pace right
to the end. 80's flare, break beat focused rhythms and an explosive synth
riff. 'Into The Void' is the most futuristic offbeat techno piece we have
heard from ANNA, and makes for a standout new release with three varied and

very special people together for it's third release - Christian Rindermann
(C-Rock, Dubstar) of Germany & the icelandic dub techno artists Exos
& Thor. The A side (Icelandic Side) consists of one part hard hitting acid
techno courtesy of Thor - "Pleasure Dome". Following up, Exos
brings his A game to the table with a trademark dub track by the name
"Milkshake". Flip side consists solely of Christian's tracks
(Germanic Side) with two of his monikers signing two very different tracks -
"Sonics Argenta" speaks for itself as a future classic in the genre
while "Crystal Society" rounds of the ep nicely, taking a step back

Carl
Finlow returns with a double pack under his renowned Electro pseudonym,
Silicon Scally, featuring tracks produced for the live set he performed to a
packed crowd at London's long-running Scand night at the tail end of 2017. In
Carl's own words: 'I used to use a real 808 back in the '90s but when I moved
over to France it was left with it's original owner, Ralph Lawson. My
equipment was gone almost entirely apart from my Apple Mac, which I used to
write ALL of my stuff for about 10 years. Over the last few years I've been
experimenting with lots of different USB midi controllers and I've finally
ended up with a few that really allow me to play around in real time with
both my audio and midi parts and I created a setup where I can have full
hands on control of two killer plugins, the D16 Group's Nepheton 808 and
Audiorealism's ABL3 303 emulation. The main controller I'm using is the Akai
APC40mkII which allows me to map a huge amount of knobs to both of those
plugins whilst also giving me mixer faders and pads to trigger drum clips in
Ableton Live. Alongside this I also use the Novation LaunchPad Pro to trigger
all my bass, keyboard and fx parts |

Gents & Dandy's are finally
back with a 3rd limited 12" vinyl release and this time it's an artist
EP by the hands of the Greece, Athens based Achilleas Dimitracopoulos, better
known as Fog. He's contributed to the house music movement since the late 90s
and has previously released on labels like Noir Music, Dieb Audio, Apparel
Music, Seven Music, and just recently Suena Hermosa. Collaborations and remix
work happened for Kindimmer, Patrick Zigon or even Kruse & Nuernberg to
name just a few. We've had a remix made by Andrew Duke who's been massively
supporting the label from the start on his Andrew Duke In The Mix show which
has been airing since 1987! His last vinyl appearance dates back to 2014 on
Batti Batti Records, so we're pretty stoked to have him on board |

With the 3-track EP Mantra JOIX
opens a new dimension in his electronic music. For the first time he uses his
own voice on a larger scale, giving it a machine-like sound that transforms
and heightens the meaning of his German words. The lead track "Mantra"
refers to the techno movement in Germany in the 90s, which JOIX lived and
breathed as a teenager. Those mystical experiences †staying awake all night
in rooms full of light and sound †came close to the trance states attained
by chanting Mantras. This is the main idea and the emotional inspiration
behind this pulsating A-side track. A touch of nostalgia also comes through
"Wächter der Nacht". This tune channels the mysterious night, the
search for ecstasy and self-dissolution in music clubs protected by the
"guards of night". Finally, "Klimax" is a
dance-floor-banger that distinguishes itself by whipping up immense energy,
and its space-filling melody and enormous hall cascades |

Since
2006, the Deep Heet series of recordings has shown the public an especially
distinctive side of the production work of Planetary Assault Systems. With a
unique 'engine room' ambience and a focus upon maintaining a continual surge
of pure energy, each volume in the Deep Heet collection has lived up to that
title, subtly suggesting the kind of sustained and voluntary temperature rise
that has traditionally given way to spiritual or visionary experiences. Just
check out tracks such as "Flat Tire" from Volume 3, with its hard
percussive edge accompanied by a pervasive hiss like boiling matter changing
into gas. P.A.S. helmsman Luke Slater also thinks highly enough of this
series to re-work tracks like "Whistle Viper" in recent live sets,
or to offer up others (e.g. "Raid") for remixing by Mote-Evolver
allies. It's only appropriate, then, that the 50th overall release on
Mote-Evolver should also be the fourth overall volume of Deep Heet. In
keeping with Slater's recent forward-thinking self-assessments like the
"Planetary Funk" anniversary series, this is simultaneously a

Oliver
Deutschmann, who operates the Berlin-based Vidab label along with Stephan
Hill, specializes in what he calls "timeless" club music - while
it's a term that initially seems like it could apply to anything and
everything, a quick survey of Deutschmann's work makes it readily apparent
what he means. His hard-edged beats, insistent tones, and occasional flash of
devious humor make Deutschmann a natural addition to the Mote-Evolver roster:
his natural versatility and clear-minded futurism result in compelling club
tracks and DJ nights, and his Mote Evolver debut EP Lost In A Loop is no
exception to this rule. With just a simple schematic to work with,
Deutschmann does what the best producers do and enlivens those simple
instructions until they give an illusion of greater complexity. Deutschmann's
deft usage of split-second samples on the opening track "Seduced"
turns a distant, repeated murmur of the track title into an inescapable
command, while a dense undergrowth of acid bassline makes it clear there's no
turning back |

as the title suggests we find some of Shlømo’s finest cuts on the Dutch
imprint reworked by Oscar Mulero, Johannes Heil and Tripeo. Spanish techno
master Oscar Mulero takes over the A-side, keeps the heat of the original and
adds extra tension to offer a stand out rendition of ‘Obsession’, while in
‘Vanished Breath’ he goes deep and delivers fine electronica and a
sophisticated, experimental remix where broken beats and haunting synths
seamlessly blend to create ghostly atmospheres. On the flip side Johannes
Heil transforms the beatless, synth-heavy beauty ‘M.U.M.’ into an euphoric,
driving techno track, right before Tripeo proves ones again his strong
command on the dancefloor with a solid, twisted version of ‘Avadon Part 1’ |
