ALLFEELINGS is releasing a
12" in dedication to his love for early dub techno coming out of Berlin.
The idea behind the title “Untitled” is to give the listeners more space to
interpret the tracks themselves rather than being distracted with any track
names. As ALLFEELINGS MUSIC label is about the amalgamation of sounds and
rhythms to bring about a visceral experience, this can be observed in the
African inspired percussion on side A and the subtle changes and movement it
has throughout its length. Side B focuses more on easy listening with sounds
and dry textures meandering slowly demanding the listener’s attention at all
times. The other great thing about this record is it works really well
pitched down which can be used to great effect during warm ups and after
hours |

When
they met in the mid-1990s, Thievery Corporation’s Eric Hilton and Rob Garza
instantly bonded over their shared passion for bossa nova. Dedicating their
1996 debut Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi to bossa nova pioneer Antonio
Carlos Jobim, the Washington, D.C.-based duo have spent nearly two decades
creating boundary-warping, complexly crafted electronic music partly inspired
by bossa nova’s intricate rhythms and lush textures. Now, with their seventh
studio album Saudade, Thievery Corporation present their first release
devoted entirely to the Brazilian-born genre that first connected them. “We
always try to progress into something different and stretch our musical
chops, and taking a whole album to dive into this one sound seemed like a
really great way to do that,” says Hilton. Adds Garza: “It’s a bit of a
departure for us, but at the same time these are our roots, this is what

Berlin based DJ and Highgrade-artist Jens Bond presents with his new ep
„Hypochonder“ his latest work. Bond is allready known for his percussive
tracks beside that the resident DJ of Berlin‘s Watergate Club is well
established thanks to his collaborations with Benno Blome (Sender Records)
and Guido Schneider (Pokerflat). In the namegiving titeltrack for this new ep
for Highgrade Jens Bond gives it all: stakkatos of rolling percussions meet
pearling synth-lines, creating a jacking, neverending groove. „Got some…“
develops this recipe for success more into a slightly darker direction, while
keeping up beeing changefull with the same „hands-up“-factor. Instead of a
break Mr. Bond serves us with „Paulista Grill“ the next highlight of this EP.
Massive, with a touch of darkness, build on a strong fundament of a funky,

60th birthday–he was starring with a still somewhat absent look into a bowl

books–“Future Shock” had just been released with yet another edition
featuring a proud printed note on the book cover stating “more than 5 million
copies in print”–did he ever mention this occurrence. Even after his death in
June 2016, no note on this incident could ever be found in his estate. The
“flake dimension” as Toffler called it in notes which were later shredded

The
young Dutch DJ & producer Lewski debuts on Darko Esser’s Wolfskuil
Limited series with ‘Folkloric Human’ EP presenting four fine Electro /
Techno cuts. The title track opens the EP with a blend of old school electro
and distinctly modern techno, featuring rhythmic bouncy beats and a playful
built up perfect for the floor, followed by ‘Phase Mistress’, a vintage
sounding beauty with captivating bass sequences and plenty of analog flavor.
‘EreBus’ kicks off the B-side with its twisted drive, cyborg samples and
sinister attitude that justifies it’s name been derived from the mythological
god of darkness. The atmospheric, Detroit flavored ‘Decommissioned Androids’
rounds the EP off with tight basslines and relentless analog madness.
Lewski’s debut EP on Patron Records last year gained support by the likes of
Ben UFO, DJ Stingray and Umwelt. Lewski is part of a select cut of young
artists who are absorbing electro’s legacy, carrying it into the future and
with his release on Wolfskuil Limited we can be sure that the future looks
very promising |
