In an intricate lattice of
ever-evolving electro exploration, Samuel Van Dijk is back on Delsin with a
new EP. Under his VC-118A alias, the Helsinki based producer presents a
richly textured, cinematic strain of machine funk that reaches beyond
dancefloor functionality to test the expressive potential locked within
electro's crisp rhythmic framework. There's a melancholic mood hovering over
Avian as Van Dijk allows a subtle edge of distortion to creep into his
flickering drum programming. The end result is a pensive sound that touches
on the moodiness of orchestral composition, unfurling patiently across
extended run times without losing focus. With his characteristic attention to
detail and broad dynamic range, Van Dijk continues to offer up a sophisticated,
emotionally-charged strain of electro like no other |

repress - 30 years of Fuse means 30 years of road paving. An ode to the past
and a hint to the future, Fuse shares this milestone with its original guests
from 1994 all the way to its fresh party goers of the past years as a promise
to keep its dance floor focused on quality music and timeless moments. In
over a quarter century, the Brussels club has stood the test of time by
rooting itself in ageless music and employing pioneering artists - large or
small, international or local - to command the decks of Belgium's longest
running dance floor. A celebration of this legacy and the renewed imprint is
in order, coming in the form of a 30 track compilation of techno's best and
brightest from around the world. One track for one year, this collection of
recordings highlights the status quo of enduring club music, beginning with a
nod to the past: a re-release of Jeff Mills iconic 'Step to Enchantment' from
1993. This glance to the past quickly shoots us forward into the current
state of techno with legendary artists like Planetary Assault Systems, DVS1,
Steffi, Rodhad, Donato Dozzy, DJ Nobu and many others who headlined the club
in recent years. Cementing itself as a respected escapist institution, Fuse
also calls on its growing local scene to prove why Brussels continues to
remain a reference in the scene even outside of its own borders |

Braindance Alert! Oh Mr James
makes a powerful debut on Analogical Force with I'm Not Here, a six-track EP
of intense dancefloor anthems forged from years of live performance.
Capturing the tension of modern disconnection--always online, never
present--this release cuts through the noise as a bold statement from the
Cornish braindance scene. Out on Madrid's leading label for braindance,
breakcore, acid, and experimental electronics, it marks a fearless new
chapter in electronic music. Amidst a sea of mediocrity and plagiarism, I'm
Not Here stands as a testament to the uniqueness of the Cornish Braindance
scene, which has given rise to some of the greatest producers in electronic
dance music. Here, Benjamin James demonstrates that he is the torchbearer of
that legacy, delivering anthems for a world spiraling in
self-alienation--where identity flickers between screens and silence |

David Keno has a growing
reputaion as a fantastic producer. His own Keno imprint started off in
fantastic fashion with its first release and highly acclaimed Someone Else
remix. This release follows in in fine style with a fine two tracker from the
main man himself. The main A side track is a killer as it starts with its
shuffled drum groove and tidy synth bassline. The track then builds ominously
with its menacing strings before the big synth break makes the track
complete. The flip side is also a worthy addition with its funky groove and
cool percussion |

repress. SHDW's Mutual Rytm imprint is back with its third release of 2024,
marking a full label debut from Sonic Propaganda with their 'Native' EP.
Sonic Propaganda comes from the collaborative minds of Earwax and Rosati, a
pair who favour dark and intense techno sounds and take inspiration from Jeff
Mills and Robert Hood. In the studio, they blend analog and digital
technologies into smoky warehouse atmospheres and immersive journeys that
connect with listeners on an emotive level, and this full EP lands following
their contribution to the third instalment of the Mutual Rytm's Federation Of
Rytm compilation series in February. The powerful 'Native' opens up at high
speed with tightly coiled drum loops that never let up. Sleek metal
percussive sounds peel off the grooves and lock listeners into a perfect
state of hypnosis. 'Soul Pressure' is just as absorbing, with a tense
bassline keeping you on edge as the train-like drums march under incendiary
hi-hat ringlets. There is plenty of perfect machine funk to 'Terminal', which
has more rusty synth textures and chopped-up vocal fragments humanising the
turbulent grooves. 'Basic Path' brings an extra skip to the kicks as they
enter, scuffed up and flowing just above the groove, while vocal pulses and
twitchy synth modulations bring the detail. 'Body Empire' closes the vinyl
package with a deeper vibe and pensive synths that add warmth and soul to the
brilliantly mechanical grooves, while digital bonus 'Acid Riot' closes with
squelching acid lines amongst a swell of analog crunch and laser-sharp
percussion |

repress. Lars Huismann drops fourth essential release on Mutual Rytm with
'Catharsis', following his successful 'Sounds From The Past' trilogy. German
producer Lars Huismann has a percussive and groove-driven take on techno that
often comes with scintillating melodies and separates him from others amongst
the genre. His releases have come on labels such as Dolly and Soma; however,
he has also quickly become an essential member of the Mutual Rytm family,
having contributed to the label's 'Federation Of Rytm III' VA as well as
serving up a trio of forward-thinking EPs in the form of his 'Sounds From The
Past' trilogy. Delivering yet more stellar material on SHDW's thriving
imprint, his latest EP delivers the newest evolution in his sound while maintaining
his signature sonic essence. The hunched techno funk of 'Divergence' kicks
off with plenty of plenty up energy and tight, bouncy synth vamps, while
'Portal' goes deep into a futuristic landscape with static-laced synths and
oversized hi-hat ringlets that ramp up the pressure. The mighty 'Neural' is
brilliantly functional and linear techno with a playful synth that rides up
and down the mix as the sleek and slamming drums race onwards. 'Riot' brings
some extra raved-up madness with serrated synths and raw percussive energy,
and 'Technician' then slips into a deeper, more paired back sound with liquid
synth lashing about the mix as dubby undercurrents power along the punchy
rhythms and freaky vocals bring the menace. Digital bonus cuts 'Incognito', a
fizzing, busy, textured techno workout, and the machine soul of 'Submerged'
close out this high-grade EP in style |

The cover, created by Manolo Gil
on the band's own idea, bears an undeniable resemblance to that of The
Rolling Stones' "Beggars Banquet" (Decca, 1968) from 1968. Sometime
later, the band said they were not aware of the resemblance when the final
design of the album was decided. The recording and mixing were once again in
the hands of Jean Phocas. The double-sheet inside, which contains only the
lyrics in three languages (Spanish, Basque and English), is particularly
noteworthy. On this occasion, the album's production seems to have a guitar
sound that is perhaps more powerful than on other occasions. At times it even
sounds like the arrangements of a heavy rock or metal band (...) |

Phocas repeats as the person in charge of the recording, once again carried
out at the Elkar studios. Manolo Gil, who already worked with the band from
Salvatierra in the same role on 'Ellos Dicen Mierda, Nosotros Amén' (Oihuka,
1990), assisted by Jokin Larrea, is in charge of the cover design. (...)
Apart from the atypical 'Los Jubilados' (Oihuka, 1990), this is the album in
which the changes in the band's sound are most noticeable. From the start,
the heavy, cutting guitars are striking, more in keeping with a metal rock
band. The production is very technical, as for example on the first track.
Despite this, this one, 'Radio Crime' is one of the best on the album. It has
an air of 'El Norte está lleno de frío' by Ilegales with high-octane incendiary
lyrics and a real storm of guitars: 'Everything is as it should be /
Everything goes as it should go (...) The workers burn down a station / Let's
say it's a cold and grey day / Everything suggests / That they'll end up
stuck to the wall / Police in training / Let's say it's a provocation / Money
asks for more sacrifices / For social peace'. The 'Radio Clash', much more
rocking of course, by La Polla Records (...) |

As
electronic music pioneers and co-founders of Soma Records, Slam have
continually shaped the landscape of underground techno. With their
forthcoming album, Dark Channel, they present a raw, club-focused record that
stands as both a reflection of our turbulent times and a celebration of the
dance floor's enduring power. In 2025, the world feels fractured, dominated
by division and extremism. Amidst this chaos, the dance floor remains a rare
sanctuary-one of unity, self-expression, and collective escape. Dark Channel
is an unapologetic tribute to this sacred space, where rhythm dissolves
barriers and music serves as a universal language. Through relentless energy,
deep textures, and hypnotic grooves, the album embodies the essence of club
culture: a place where we reconnect with ourselves and each other. Slam make
no mistake when it comes to the sonic tone of the album as it opens with the
tribalistic Use It, Lose It before the discordant sounds of title track Dark
Channel hints at the relentless nature of things to come. The intensity
continues with Parametric Factor & Glide - both pushing a pulsating,
synth driven trip; the later leading on a more traditional Slam percussive
workout. The dance floor warping Morganatic pursues dark territory while
Infinit Spaces adds trippy FX to an already animated synth hook. The
beautifully crafted Kuture Version delves into a more immersive sound as more
direct, chord driven elements take the lead. The pace quickens yet again with
Ghost Dancer highlighting sub tones whilst still crafting ominous intonations
with its modulating FX. Approaching the conclusion, the ferocious Beat On The
Drum delivers a lesson in rhythm and energy before the contorted Irregular
Object completes proceedings in a suitably hypnotic fashion. Mastered By

Let's go back to the open-minded
days of the '90s, when Goa-trance wasn't strictly defined! DICA & Antidot
are the perfect example of genre-crossing artists. French artist DICA is
already a well-known name in the acid scene and teamed up with his friend
Antidot for this EP. After visiting ZNA and Apsara, their love for Goa-trance
deepened...and it shows! Picture a room full of analog machines and two guys
tweaking them like madmen. The result? A high-energy acid/Goa-trance
crossover with a touch of hard trance. All tracks have been tested on
dancefloors with truly uplifting results! We hope you're ready for this
madness too! |

Hot on the heels of previous
explorations of Hindustani, East Bloc, pan-Asian, and Brazilian cultural
touchstones, Toofli now pays homage to the vocal eroticism that beats at the
heart of French pop music. The fourth faceless wizards once again bring their
magical touch to uncharted musical territory, employing a precise process of
cuts and edits in service of Toofli's groove agenda. A half-step beat glides
through haunting atmospheres and hard-driven hypnotic rhythms, offering a
fresh perspective on the iconic 'Voyage' in the opening piece. The great
French pop diva aesthetic continues to evolve in the second track, now taking
on an ultra-chill mood with funky minimalism and late-night soul melancholia.
The unexpected twist on the flip side blends breakbeat science with gentle
digitalia, creating a unique mix perfect for the most sophisticated
dancefloors. Kraftwerk's pioneering hymn "Tour de France" is
reimagined with tough electro production, while retaining the essence of the
monumental original |

Guillaume Labadie, better known as I Hate Models, started to play
"Toro" in his sets at the beginning of 2022, a track that was
originally released in 2011 and has been through a variety of different versions,
styles and audiences. The Mexican producer Andre VII created the original
remix and I Hate Models edited a speeded up version to fit into his playing
style that got a huge response from clubs around the globe. The track has
exploded on social networks, bringing a new buzz to this classic with its
unofficial version, going viral on Tik Tok, generating thousands and
thousands of videos and reaching Spotify's Top 50 Viral tunes organically, we
are happy to release the edit officially on Mushroom Pillow |

Card. The 3xLP vinyl reissue also features the tracks Crossing Of The Sun-Ra
Nebula and Alien Vessel Distress Call, which were previously only on the
original CD release. In early 2023, Tresor Records will reissue the sole
output from Shifted Phases entitled The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great
Rupert J. Rosinthrope. Initially released in 2002, soon after James Stinson
passed away, this LP plays a mysterious and compelling role in the Drexciya
journey. While other records of Drexciya and related projects have received
numerous reprints and editions, The Cosmic Memoirs... has remained out of
print since its release. This rarity leaves it more open to interpretation
with its place in the Drexciyan storm series, as it became increasingly hard
to find and underexplored. Track titles Solar Wind, White Dwarf, and Lonely
Journey of the Comet Bopp reveal a focus on cosmic realms, suggesting a link
with the Drexciya LP Grava 4 that moves from the underwater to the galactic.
As it launches with mechanical blows on a precise orbit, each repetition
entrenches the gravitational pull in the galaxy of Shifted Phases. In many
places, it sounds like the readout of frequencies harvested from outer space,
pockmarked with packet loss from the millions of kilometres distance
travelled. The music is hard to contain, intuitively restless in motion
through its unfolding universe and achingly resonant. It shapeshifts across a
ectedly melodic sequences such as in Lonely Journey..., to the sparse,
hard-hitting timbres found in Alien Vessel Distress Call and the mangled
reverse vocals in The Freak Show, somewhat reminiscent of another Drexciya
side-project, Glass Domain. The mythology of Drexciya is evident in how
keenly James Stinson and Gerald Donald created their imaginary worlds. In
Crossing Of The Sun-Ra Nebula, there is an undisputable reference to another
Afro-futurist who delved deep into a galaxy of their own making. This reissue
does not merely close the loop on Tresor's reissue series of the Drexciya
catalogue but brings Shifted Phases to fresh ears more than other records.
Accompanied by newly commissioned artwork from Matthew Angelo Harrison, the
3xLP vinyl reissue also features the tracks Crossing Of The Sun-Ra Nebula and
Alien Vessel Distress Call, which were previously only on the original CD
release |
