Time to break new soil again with
two new faces on the label, who delivered a perfect peak time EP! The Reason
Y teamed up with Patrick Milaa and they came up with three tracks for their
debut EP ’25 East’. Not only Patrick and Frederik aka The Reason Y met at
Watergate Berlin, also Gregor Tresher met Frederik there some years ago,
ending up closing the main floor with a b2b-set that might still resonate in
the minds of some of the people who attended that special night! A release on
BNS was quite inevitable and we say welcome to Frederik and Patrick! For the
remix we have a very very special guest! Gregor has been a fan of Cari
Lekebusch's productions for almost thirty years, so we are over the moon to
announce Cari decided to go on remix duties for this project! It is a very
special honour to have him on board, delivering one of his signature

In
1989 Dee Dee Ramone fled both New York and The Ramones and headed to Europe.
After a brief aborted link-up with Stiv Bators and Johnny Thunders in Paris,
he moved to London intending to seek out fellow punk rock contemporaries with
a plan for a fresh start and to form a new band. DeeDee was introduced by
mutual friend Brian James (ex Damned/Lords of the New Church) to Alan Lee
Shaw (ex Rings/Maniacs) and George Butler (ex Lighting Raiders) and a band
formed with the proposed name of Dee Dee Ramone’s Deadline. With rehearsals
underway, Alan on bass /backing vocals, George drums and Dee Dee guitar/lead
vocals, the project was soon up and running and in the process of negotiating
a recording deal with Overground Records, the release would be promoted with
a UK tour, when due to unforeseen circumstances (unfortunately the state of
Dee Dee’s fragile mental/physical shape), the project was sadly and
frustratingly brought to an abrupt end, before any studio recordings or gigs
could be completed. The demos from 1989 are the only recordings that occurred |

their big debut on Moon Harbour, CamelPhat have linked up with Cari Golden,
the voice of modern house music, for a superb new single that comes backed
with a remix from label head Matthias Tanzmann. The British, Grammy-nominated
duo CamelPhat have risen from the underground to go on to global prominence.
Their big house sounds often feature guests and collaborators. They have
released on labels like Defected, Sola and Snatch! and now serve up another
of their timeless tunes with Cari Golden, who has featured with the diverse
likes of Groove Armada, DJ T and Roger Sanchez on plenty of Beatport number
ones. She can sing on sunny boat party sounds as well as raw warehouse tunes
with equal style, and here offers something brilliantly intense. The intoxicating
'Freak' is a high impact affair designed for big rooms. The techno tinged
drums are overlaid with Golden's paranoid vocals. Her dark delivery is
matched by the turbulent bass and taught synths that add to the sense of
tension that will sweep the dance floor off its feet. Remixing is the German

Earl Palmer the man behind the
evolution of the backbeat from Jazz and R^B to Rock -n- Roll. One of the

listening and spy jazz the American pianist and composer born in New York in
1927, put together one of the cornerstone of the genre. Before switching to

Madrid's BIZNAGA are back with
their 3rd long player, but what the band itself considers in a way to be
their first album, in that they've broken from the way they normally put
together a record (as a collection of songs that work independently from one another).
For 'Gran Pantalla', they've written an album knowing that in 2k20, our every
move & inquiry will continue to be recorded for eventual (or perhaps
immediate) observation by someone on the other side of a Big Screen, after
being processed by The Algorithm. Whatever we search for will later find us.
The screen has captured us - so sit back, relax, and enjoy it. 'Gran
Pantalla' is twelve tracks recorded & mixed by Raúl Peréz in Sevilla,
mastered in Berlin by Tim Warren (Crypt Records). Performing entirely in
Castellano (with heavily deep lyrics), and even working some flamenco
handclaps into the mix, BIZNAGA is Spanish as fuck. If Joe Strummmer were
actually from Granada, The Clash would have sounded something like this |

remix of a very special artist, Svreca. Four solid, wraparound cuts. The
record begins with Ground, a high voltage electrified loop. Dirty hi hats,
distorted, hypnotic and energetic sequences that gain intensity until the end
of the track. Velocity is the second weapon in this release, a continuous
pattern of warm and aggressive synth, filling the modulated space by sine
waves that invites a stellar journey. With Depth on the B side we find thick,
constantly changing analog frequencies creating a deep and dynamic groove
accompanied by futuristic bleeps. Svreca, owner of Semantica label, finalizes

Hailing
from Amsterdam, Melawati, also known as Melawati Modular, is a composer,
sound designer, avid lover of modular synths, and an experimental live
electronic music artist making his debut on Ellum Audio. His beautiful single
also features two astounding remixes by the maestro and label head Maceo Plex
and melancholic masters Tale of Us. The excellent 'Daliah' is a smooth and
seductive journey through lush melody and productive synth work. Those synths
come in various forms, from fluid smears to more pixelated stabs. The
restless breakbeats below his humming tunes add to the sense of adventure as
you race through the cosmos on the galactic journey Melawati has created.
Maceo Plex steps up to remix, with a version that has tense, textured chord
vamps, punchy kicks, and enigmatic twinkling keys raining down from above. It
is epic and cinematic and a perfect fit for his always far-gazing label.
Finally, the acclaimed Italian duo treats us with their excellent remix. Tale

The first release on Emile
Facey's Plant43 Recordings sets the tone for his new label with a showcase of
his trademark shimmering, melodic electro. The three tracks take the listener
through an array of deeply emotional soundscapes while keeping the electro-funk
beats to the fore, another outstanding display of a unique style nurtured
through over 20 years of production. A co-founder of London's Bleep43 crew,
Facey has been promoting underground electro and techno since the late 90's.
As a producer he's been releasing records since 2005 with a string of
releases on respected scene favourites such as Central Processing Unit,
Frustrated Funk, Semantica, Shipwrec and Cultivated Electronics, among
others. He has played live alongside DJ Stingray, ERP/Convextion, Surgeon,
Legowelt, DJ Overdose, Urban Tribe, I.F., Svreca, Datassette among many

Linear Search. Linear Search drops their EP, Line Integral on Eternal
Friction Records, containing four original tracks. The result is a powerful
EP, that clearly demonstrates Linear Search unique and personal approach to
contemporary techno. The balance between the drums and the uplifting
percussion are capable of bringing listeners into a certain state of mind.
The warm and melodic synths fit perfectly into many layers of each track.
Skillfully build grooves fused together with funky stabs, form a unique,
recognisable and inimitable "Linear Search blend". Although these
tracks are all fairly different from each other, they are all produced in the

Lily returns to LILIES this August with the label's sixth release, featuring
a collaboration with label partner Sailor Juul and remixes from Inhalt der
Nacht and The Mountain Range. DJ Lily launched the LILIES imprint in 2018 as
a Techno focused sub-label of his BROR imprint and has since gone on to
release five 12" releases of material from himself, Svagila, Sandra Mosh
and Jor-El. Here the label continues with more material from Lily and
introduces the debut collaborative material with Sailor Juul, who has now
joined ship to run both Bror and Lilies alongside DJ Lily, the fellow Swedish
artist features on the lead track here while more productions from the pair
will follow soon on the label later this year. "Bequem ft. Sailor
Juul" leads, a high-octane 140BPM cut driven by menacing bass
pulsations, dynamic drums, tension building resonance and murky vocal chants.
Lebendig label boss and Monnom Black artist Inhalt der Nacht delivers his
twist on "Bequem ft. Sailor Juul" next, bringing crunchy
percussion, distorted synth sequences and airy pads into focus for a
typically upfront workout from the Berlin-based artist. DJ Lily's solo track
"Safeword Tegnell" opens the flip side, fusing bubbling percussion,
bumpy drums and 8-bit synth chimes throughout |

"From
a galaxy far away, they came to earth and decided to stay". You could
call them Visitors... but they might have arrived here long before we did.
Staatseinde spent their recent earth time creating their third EP called
Daruber Reden Wir Nicht. Combining their own Neue Niederlandische Welle with
synthwave and EBM, these three extraterrestrial musicians adapted four
European languages to spread their message. First track on the A-side is
Staatsanthem, a heroic soundtrack meant as a hymn to their home planet. Next
up is title track Daruber Reden Wir Nicht, followed by No Return. Two bold,
minimalistic EBM like tracks performed in a much harder style than they've
ever done before. Moving to the B-side. Laat Het Gebeuren warns about the
selfdestructive nature of mankind, and sometimes mother earth answers.
Grenztruppenfuhrer is about the strict door policies that some nightclubs
have, a wall between east and west, politics versus freedom, will you get in?
Grenztruppenfuhrer decides. Closing off with Vi Aker Dit, which started off
as the Swedish translation of their hitsong Ruimtevaart Vooruit. A call to
fly away, to another dimension. Even though this EP was created on earth,
it's already much spoken about beyond the boundaries of our solar system...

Electronic centipede George
Thompson aka Black Merlin debuts on DJ Nobu's Bitta label. The British
producer delivers four expertly warped techno trips with his typical
genre-bending approach. After his recent trip to Japan for Rural Festival
2019, Thompson was introduced to Nobu on the Iiyama train station for their
ride back to Tokyo. Inspired by the festival itself and Nobu's approach to
techno the two felt an immediate connection and stayed in touch for
exchanging their ideas. A few months later Thompson sent his music,
visualizing a bridge to connect his music closer to Japan and the inspiration
he got from his Rural visit. Nobu: "I was immediately convinced it was a
great match, and I could tell he had been following the previous Bitta releases
and understood the label's aesthetics. To me, this EP demonstrates his new
vision of dynamic techno thats so thrilling as if you were watching a movie,

First making noise in 2015 on
Darwin’s Berlin label SPE:C with the ‘Begyndelsen’ EP, Decka makes sound that
journeys through bare-bones techno and bass, crafting hypnotic polyrhythmic
patterns that look both to the big room industrial sound of the German
Capital and the sub-low pressure rooted in his home city, Bristol. Decka’s
Unterwegs imprint that he runs with The Lady Machine translates to ‘on the
move’ correlating with the labels vision to expand upon the idea that music
is forever changing, evolving into new territories. ‘Elimination Techniques’
sees Decka invite Russian producer Philipp Gorbachev for a remix who is known
for his flamboyant live sets and productions which can be found on labels
such as Comeme and his own PG TUNE label. Balancing Act’ begins proceedings
with undulating toughness through beastly drums and shimmering bass growls
before ‘Self Evasiveness’ offers up machine-like revolving synths and
energizing grooves that continue to drive throughout the duration |
