welcome to the Moustache Records family the oldskool electro legend Martin
Matiske with his Electronic disco-ish 12 inch EP release "Robotic
Theatre" This is a future vision of a theatre run by robots and is the
era in which machines entertain mankind. Operas are written and played in a
mechanical way. The pieces of "Robotic Theatre" deal with different
terms of stage work. Track A1 is called "Acting Faces" and Refers
to the rehearsing of the role, as well as the interaction of the actors on
stage. The well-being of the actor does not often match what is played. He
has to play even If it's painful. B2 is the track called
"Machinery" Human beings are machines that build machines today.
The advantage is perfection and time saving. Robots as actors are reliable
and precise. B1 listen to the name "Transistor Dances"its Like The
Hungarian Dances by Johannes Brahms you just need a dance to express
happiness and remind your culture. Dances bring people together. A robotic
dance should not be missing in a play. The last track of the EP is the tune
"Practise" a story about a robot the has to practise to achieve
perfection and it is fun |

Tamiko Ferguson in 1945 in Kyle, West Virginia - debuted in 1967 on Atlantic
with flautist and mentor Herbie Mann on the soul-jazz-bossa flavored 'A Mann
& A Woman'. Her solo career take off in 1968 with the rare groove inflected
I-ll Be Anything For You, released on A&M/CTI and produced by label owner
Creed Taylor. Recorded and engineered by master Rudy Van Gelder at his own
Studio in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, the album is such a lovely
combination of soul-funk jams and r&b ballads with craft strings
arrangements by Artie Butler and Don Sebesky. Featuring a who's who line-up

Fortysomething
years after it crawled oozing and spitting out of the social turmoil of the
mid-70s, punk has mutated in countless ways, sonically, aesthetically,
politically, but on Fried E/M's Modern World they drag it back into place as
brute expression of ugly feelings crammed into short catchy punk bursts,
sneering at conciliatory ideals on Peace and Love with the same energy as the
Clash singing Hate and War, squealing with the nihilistic urge for oblivion
on Lobotomy just as the Ramones did. Four decades later, we're still
struggling with ourselves, with society, and still ready to revel in the
nihilistic teenage id that splays itself out on these eleven tracks of
disaffected snot. Punk as its fundamental core, panicked snaps of
self-loathing and anti-social rage blasted out raw and unfiltered, bricks and
voids and violence, no second thoughts, no tricky questions, sounding like
the point where the initial wave of punk was being ramped up into the
inchoate hardcore of Circle Jerks's Gorup Sex, The Middle Class, or like the
Ramones did an entire album of songs like Warthog. (Joe Briggs) Fried E/M

Dominik
Eulberg, of Traumschallplatten, Cocoon and Kompakt notoriety, presents the
next installment of the Hertzblut Recordings EP series in the form of
‘Backslash’. The two track release instantly conveys Eulberg’s unique living
organism aesthetic, a more than welcome offering for fans who have felt his
amount of original output slow down over recent years. ‘Backslash’ opens with
‘Opel Tantra’, a delectable example of a living, breathing techno orchestra
in full effect. Here, a classic kick drum meets rejoicing, iridescent strings
that sing and swell in the fore until a funky bass riff takes the entire
score straight into dance floor territory. B-side ‘Noch Ein Bass im Ärmel’
sees plucked strings and key stabs pick out an alluring groove, as distant chimes
twinkle evoking the enchanted forest ever-present in Eulberg’s thoughts. Just
as you’re on the cusp of entering a dream like state, Eulberg reminds us all
of his four-to-the-floor techno credentials, dropping a dark and rumbling
bass line and driving percussions into the mix |

Records hits release number ten with a new EP from the in-house production
collective made up of Jocelyn Abell, Ivano Tetelepta and Daniel Lekatompessy.
Fraktur features six tracks of stripped back house and techno that are all
atmospheric and heady. Opener Winter Track is a smooth and rolling dub techno
number that is grainy and economical yet hugely absorbing thanks to its
circling synth details and woody drums. Creating Moods is even more expansive
and spacious, with gently swirling pads enveloping a soft, broken rubber kick
drum. The title track is another expertly distilled, dry and heady groove
with its frayed edges and warm analogue feel, then 'Hello' really flips the
script with over driven Jeff Mills kicks and intergalactic synths bring a
spooky sci-fi feel to proceedings. Yorubaland is then a cosmic ambient
interlude with fax tones bleeping and blipping as lazy pads smear out in the
background and last of all Core comes on strong with more quick and slick
intergalactic techno carrying you off to some distant planet. This is another
faultless EP from this fine Dutch collective. Pressed on 180 grams vinyl |

Japanese
blues-rock band Blues Creation spun out of an earlier group, The Bickies,
formed in Tokyo in 1968 by guitarists Kazuo Takeda and Koh Eiryu, with
Hokkaido-born lead singer, Fumio Nunoya, drummer Junosuke Suzuki and bassist
Kenji Wada (who would later play with Yngwie Malmsteen), building a strong
following by topping the televised “Battle of the Bands” on pop show, R&B
Paradise, for five weeks. The band split after Eiryu quit, but he and Takeda
then formed Blues Creation with Nunoya, only for Eiryu to quit again, the
group filling out with bassist Kenji Wada and drummer Junosuke Suzuki.
Signing to Polydor, Blues Creation cut a self-titled debut LP of foreign
blues cover tunes, mixing a spirited rendition of the John Mayall/Eric
Clapton British blues nugget, “Double Crossing Time” with takes on classics
of the American blues songbook, such as Sonny Boy Williamson’s “Checkin’ Up
On My Baby” and Holwin’ Wolf ’s “Smokestack Lightnin.’” In addition to being
a blinding guitarist, Takeda proves to be a mean mouthorgan player too, and
there is guest harmonica from American blues player Hugh Cutler on a couple
of tracks |

Principal
is the new solo project by producer and musician Rasmus Allin, who’s first
album Treacherous Dub will be released on the Copenhagen-based label
StereoRoyal in July 2020. Best described as an homage to old-school Jamaican
dub, Principal’s music features live recorded drums and other instruments.
Fused with electronic elements, it celebrates the sound of the original dub
pioneers. Born in 1970, Rasmus Allin has been working as a producer,
musician, and songwriter since the mid-nineties, primarily within the realm
of electronic music. Inspired by the British trip hop and drum ‘n’ bass
scene, he soon gravitated towards Jamaican dub, rocksteady, and reggae.
"I found my inspiration in the old Jamaican dub masters like Lee Scratch
Perry, King Tubby, Augustus Pablo, and Scientist. I’ve spent endless hours in
the studio trying to replicate their sound, using old tape delays, filter
boxes, and modulation effects,” he says. In 2002, Allin formed the band
Junkyard Productions, playing major venues and festivals like Elysee
Montmartre, Le Triptyque, Télérama Dub Festival, and Roskilde Festival while
touring through Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, and France |

established himself as a key member of the Voitax roster with a love letter
to the Orgazoid on his last outing, Berlin-based, UK-born producer Cressida
returns to the fold with yet another genre blurring masterclass in formless
electronica as the forward facing German imprint continues to provide a
platform for a number of dance music's most innovative artists. Finding
himself spending his time in lockdown reflecting on his formative years
within the darker strands of London's varied underground electronic music
scene, the Sambo EP serves as potent reminder of the stunning level of
diversity that can be found within the Capital as Cressida incorporates the
bass fuelled sounds of his youth into a series of DnB speckled cuts that defy

TITLE. After collaborating on a number of award winning vinyl albums, box
sets and singles totalling over 80 songs together. They are back once again
with this special, limited edition Vinyl Dub album. Taking the original
multi-track recordings of their co-produced 2016 sell out Roots Album for Max
Romeo, ‘Horror Zone’. Lee & Daniel have created a new analogue Dub
journey from those multi-tracks. The original album was recorded live, using
vintage Black Ark equipment to recreate Lee’s famous Lo-Fi Drum sound. With
veteran Upsetter and Bob Marley and the Wailers musicians Glen Da Costa, Vin
Gordon and Robbie Lynn, alongside Daniels Rolling Lion All Stars session
band. It has now been Deconstructed and Dub mixed live on Rolling Lion
Studios SSL mixing console, using entirely vintage analogue equipment
including the same pieces from Lee’s original Black Ark Studio. Driven by the
idea to merge Lo-Fi and Hi-Fi. Merging the absolute best in class Analogue
equipment available on the planet, with the very best Vintage equipment from
the 1950’s-1970’s |
