Seven
years and forty releases later, old friends reunite for a special occasion.
JOSS, the boss of Kyiv vinyl label Artreform, is glad to announce a new
release by Sapurra, the project helmed by the weathered DJ Sergey Sapunov.
JOSS and Sapunov have enjoyed top stardom status within Heaven dancefloor of
Kazantip ever since day one. The same dancefloor Laurent Garnier reminisced
playing in the extended edition of his influential book ELECTROCHOC.
Nowadays, these two are traversing parallel courses. New Sapurra tracks
deliver easily distinguishable, authentic sound of Artreform: classic
tech-house that is slightly leaning on the techno side of things. One of
Sapurra tracks on offer is boosted with a masterful remix by Argentinian DJ
Franco Cinelli. Cinelli is notorious for his groundbreaking Picaro EP
recorded together with Bruno Pronsato, a skillful producer creating deep
house with surgical precision and attention to craft. Franco's shows are an
experience of its own thanks to a combination of vinyl DJ set elements with

by Parisian dj/producer Noiro. We are extremely gassed to showcase Noiro's
eclectic and unique approach to club music with this 5 trax EP. We start the
journey with the highly experimental 'Kata Pulse', an intergalactic and
powerful trip-hop influenced tune with a strong vocal game. A2. 'Rude'
follows the cosmic vibe perfectly with a bit more aggressive breakbeat but
keeping a warm feeling at the same time. Where the b-boys at?? To wrap up the
A-side, 'Aube Session' brings those mysterious and high cloud walker
feelings. The dance floor is starting to get warm... crashy bells, dj
scratches and twisted synth/bass lines turns on the auto pilot for what's to

Art Kinder Industrie was a band
from Tarbes, south of France. Formed in 1988 by Xavier Vincent (R.I.P.) and
David Carretta it was the first EBM act in France to have distilled the
legacy of DAF, Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb. Active between the end of the eighties
and beginning of the nineties their output consisted of a few self released
tapes and various live performances. Lux Rec selected 6 tracks produced
between 1988 and 1990 to be released on vinyl. Andrea Merlini remastered them
analogically, truthful to the spirit of that age. In collaboration with

delightful confection of high harmonies and a Beatles-via-California melodic

INSERT AND 3 BONUS TRACKS. Post-punk duo Second Layer was formed in London in
1979 by southpaw guitarist&vocalist Adrian Borland and bassist &
keyboardist Graham Bailey, who would both gain greater fame in the somewhat
more mainstream act, The Sound, Borland has previously been active in
Wimbledon punk trio The Outsiders, which released two albums and an EP on
their own Raw Edge label before disbanding. Second Layer's heavily
synthesized and dystopian Wold wave' sound first surfaced on a couple of EPs,
issued on their own Tortch label, and when debut album World Of Rubber was
released on Cherry Red in 1981, it was a very different beast indeed, being
far more abstract, the minimal instrumentation masking occasional morbid
lyrics about "Black Flowers," bodies in an open grave and, on
"In Bits," the disintegratingpersonality of Borland's protagonist,
"Japanese Headset" subjected an unknown foreign soundtrack to
stereophonic effects. Since The Sound signed with major label WEA shortly
after the released of World Of Rubber, the album ended up being Second
Layer's swansong, making it all the more sought after today |

Meine Kleine Deutsche are a
phenomenon. Founded in 2002 by Maria Mia Johansson and Patrik Boman, they are
sort of the godfathers of Scandinavian Electroclash. It is a well known fact,
that the art of computer-aided music-making is flourishing in Northern
Europe, at least since the major success of The Knife or Aavikko. With their
latest effort "Before people forget sound", the third album of the
Stockholm-based band is available now. It took three years to puzzle-over and
fine-tune the sound, to draft and discard and to recreate. Furthermore they
called for back-up bringing in Max Groundstroem (Sons of Cyrus, Holiday Fun
Club) on guitar and Topi The Kat (Sons of Cyrus, Front de Boeuf) on drums.

Philipp
Gorbachev presents his latest 5-track EP "Nichego Ne Ponyal" on
System 108. Philipp Gorbachev is amongst Moscow's most renowned dance music
artists. The musician, DJ, and live performer is also known as the resident
of MUTABOR, a member of ARMA17 and the System 108 community. His previous
releases on Comeme, Trip, ARMA, and his own PG TUNE label contribute to a big
variety of music genres: full live bands, church bell music, and techno. The
new EP, which translates to 'I understood nothing' is an ode to isolation,
where one's personal state of solitude simultaneously clashed with a global
pandemic lockdown. The record was produced in the process of a fleeting
stream of thought, and rather than relying on the use of automatization and the
digital, it consists of recorded instruments. Drum machines, live drums, drum
pads, keyboards, accompanied by bewildering vocals - all create an enticing
audio tale that embodies the ethereal state of today's existence. Whilst
being confined in the new secluded and virtual reality of the world, the
artwork was devised via Facetime by photographer Nick Gavrilov, and just like
the EP, it depicts the act of creation as such |

known as Andy and Ed from Plaid, archives for a couple of rare and previously

Born 1980, Diego Hostettler
started playing piano in the age of 6. With 10 I got into rap music (like
public enemy and ice-t) but was always influenced by jazz. At the same time I
often visited Marco Repettos studio and I started to like hip-house acid- house
stuff like (2I in a room, hit house). Then a few years later I found a jungle
cd (shy fx), this one really took me into the world of electronic music, I
liked many styles like hardcore, jungle (DnB did not exist then) acid,
detroit, techno. So in 1996 I began to build up my studio with a friend. I
started doing techno! He did some goa trance, after a few months it was
impossible to just sit in the same room, cause we hated each others sound. So
we did not longer share our equipment, I'm still missing some synths.

Ezrat
is a simple twist of the lemon for followers of Ezra Tenenbaum's previous
band, EZTV, who released two hook filled LPs on Captured Tracks and toured
with the likes of Real Estate, Ultimate Painting, Jenny Lewis and others.
Listeners can expect the same deliciously deployed power-pop hooks that
recall British invaders or left of the dial new wave. New players are in the
mix, plus some old faces, playing pop-inflected rock music that operates as
both a mirror to our past and a strum-happy tunnel to the future. Written
following a bout of heavy touring and breakup of his previous band, and
amidst the degradation of multiple relationships, the songs that make up
-Carousel- were culled from an obsessive trove of singer/songwriter Ezra's
dozens over reel to reel demo recordings. Sounds oscillate from jangly
meditations ("Turn the Time"), drum machine fueled heart pangs
("Picture Taker"), and the ethereal ruminations of a shut in
("Loud Sounds"). After tracking live at Brooklyn's Figure 8
Studios, guitarist Ezra Tenenbaum and drummer Michael Stasiak fleshed out
knotty hook-filled arrangements at home with the help of a rotating crew of
friends, including Kyle Forester (Woods, Purple Mountains), John Andrews
(Hand Habits, Cut Worms), Michael Hesslein (Mail the Horse) and others |

Spittle
Records present a reissue of Neon's first album Rituals, originally released
in 1985. Neon is undoubtedly one of the most influential and enduring bands
of the Italian new wave. From the beginning, the band-s music was perfectly
aligned with continental trends - integrating the attitude of early post-punk
with certain types of electronic music that had timidly begun popping up on
the club circuit, and an aesthetic that was a cross between late romanticism
and decadentism. Inimitable bands like Neon breathed new life into even the
most disagreeable and angular rock and roll, flirting with war-like dance
music, and creating musical scenarios that were unheard of up until that
point, placing them in harmony with some of the most talked/about British and
German bands of the time. After a string of 12"s (five altogether) and a
7", the band finally released their first LP, Rituals (originally
released for the KinderGarten label and distributed by the major label,
Polygram). This crucial album, which unquestionably represented the band's
creative peak, is being re/released by Spittle not merely for the sake of the
album itself, but also as part of a wider campaign to document the Italian

north of Burkina Faso. Kaladounia means ‘Here the world’. As a griot, Kaito

Kaden returns to Rekids with four-track EP ‘Control Your Mind’, featuring a
remix from Marcel Dettmann. Previously appearing on Rekids in 2019 with his
‘Liberate Drums’ EP, Mathias Kaden makes his second appearance on Radio Slave
aka Matt Edwards’ label with four original tracks of razor-sharp material, as
well as a remix from Berghain resident Dettmann. ‘Control Your Mind’ opens
with the impeccably produced title track, an electro flecked roller.
Featuring hypnotic synth work and subtle automated inflections, the cut
effortlessly glides, peppered with the occasional titular vocal refrain from
Sven Väth puncturing the groove. Shifting into 4/4 territory is
‘Conviction’, a restrained but stunningly effective track that makes full use
of memorable off-beat synth stabs and shimmering 909 percussion to constantly
drive the track forward. On the flip, Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann turns
up the heat with his remix of ‘Control Your Mind’. Filtering the vocals, the
MDR and BAD MANNERS boss also delivers a resonant bassline that works in
tandem with knocking percussion, as creeping pads morph and evolve over the
duration of the track |

returns with the second instalment of Fuga. Following on from Fuga I, which
featured music from new and exciting talents alongside more established
players within the genre, the label presents its next incisive entry. Spread
across eight tracks once more, the release continues in the same vein as its
predecessor presenting a collection of reduced techno recordings in equal
parts atmospheric as they are functional. As a compilation the release
develops gently - JRD's undulating workout Purple Blades opens proceedings,
followed closely by Dutch Stalwart Deniro's crisp riser Silhouette. Sleek
reduction Blush, courtesy of JSSL, continues this soft increase in intensity
before ORBE's stylish, acid driven Motor opens things up properly into peak
time territory. Argentinian Pfirter toys with big room kick drums and an
outlandish rave lead on Cyclic Model, managing to deliver an occasionally
misconceived combination with some considerable style - and Dustin Zahn turns
in a compilation highlight with The Organ Trail, an incessant, heads-down
workout. The Lady Machine keeps the energy up with Resilience, and Arthur
Robert's closer Illegal Gatherings provides an off- kilter conclusion to the compilation
release. Fuga II provides a continuation of the motifs and constructions
explored in the first entry, advancing them to some degree and introducing
new characters to Token, whilst maintaining a sense of cohesion within the
series itself, and the label as a whole |
