released in 2002 on Emoticon, the deep electronica sister label of Headspace
Recordings. Fully re-mastered for a fresh 2021 pressing. Connective Zone, aka
Lincoln-based duo Graham Sims and Simon Button, have been making their unique
brand of deep techno for many years. Warm strings, thick chords,
multi-layered synth melodies and crisp beats are the order of the day, with
influences coming from early Detroit techno and 'artificial intelligence' era
UK electronics. All four tracks pack a soulful punch, drawing from the past
but allowing their individual sound to shine through. Rhythmically they range

Future transgender pioneer Jayne
County began as Wayne County, starring in Femme Fatale with Patti Smith and
fronting the Backstreet Boys at CBGB and Max's Kansas City, where County was
an early punk deejay. Moving to London in 1977, County formed controversial
proto-punk band, The Electric Chairs and this immortal self-titled debut LP,
released by Safari Records in 1978, has many highlights, like the Teddy
Boy-meets-punk of 'Eddie and Sheena' and full punk 'Out Of Control' and 'On
The Crest': even the spacy 'Plain Of Nazca' is a mighty rockin' storm, led by
JJ Johnson's pounding rolls and Greg Van Cook's jagged guitar, though [1]ig
Black Window' somehow ropes in shades of country and blues/rock and 'Rock And
Roll Resurrection' sums up County's ethos, excessive, filthy and raw. In a
word: indispensable! |

Martin
Brodin's venerated MB Disco label is back with standout remixes of his 2005
classic 'Semitone Shuffle' by Lauer and the boss himself. Swedish artist
Martin Brodin has been deeply involved in the global house and disco scene
for decades. He initially founded this label in 2010 - and the MB Edits
sub-label in 2013 - and has put out classics by Chicken Lips, Ray Man and
Psychemagik. His productions on labels like Nang, Southern Fried and Buzzin
Fly have very much defined the modern scene, none more so than epic 2005 cut
'Semitone Shuffle.' Now, after something of a hiatus, big new remixes of the
original mark the welcome return of the MB Disco label. The first is from
legendary German artist Lauer. He is one half of Tuff City Kids and Black
Spuma, and an esteemed house producer for labels like Clone, Running Back and
Permanent Vacation. His version is a melodic epic, a real house workout with
pixelated pads raining down on the taught, arpeggiated bass. When some
old-school chords arrive at the midpoint, the club is sure to take off.
Brodin then steps up with his fantastic Hulabaluba Remix, which is a much
more party-starting and disco-fried version. The drums loop down low, the
luxurious chords are warm and full of colour and the whole track exudes class |

I
had an idea one sleepless night and thought how cool it would be to throw
together a tribute album for one of my favourite bands called the New Bomb
Turks. And also include the coolest bands around at the moment. So I wrote a
letter to Eric Davidson, the singer of the Turks, and asked for his blessing.
He gave me the green light and I wrote to all the bands that I had handpicked
to be included and had the basis of the compilation ready the next day. I was
amazed how pretty much everyone I had written to, were into it - including
The Hellacopters. We had a few delays and setbacks due to virus outbreak but
here we are, ready to launch this thing. It will be released as a three label
split - Ghost Highway Recordings, Spaghetty Town Records and Yours Truly-s
own Dragstrip Riot Records. Each label will also have a limited edition of

1968. In 2007, Rolling Stone Japan placed it at number 13 on its list of the
'100 Greatest Japanese Rock Albums of All Time'. Rumored to be a big
influence on High Rise, one of their tracks ('Marianne') was covered by
Fushitsusha on Tokyo Flashback II. 'Here's what is considered one of the best
psychedelic records in the world and certainly one of the must-have Japanese
rock albums. The Jacks managed to record a very unique album, very dark and
introspective, an album full of tension and contained wrath that maintains
its power by refusing to fully explode. You'll find fuzz guitars, tremolo,

The happy pill that was the Catz ‘N Dogz liaison with Gerd Janson gets a
remix treatment. Dusky, Bella Boo and Ryan Elliott put their respective and
requested stamps on Modern Romance. Ladies first: Bella Boo takes the upbeat
piano house of the original into a deeper sphere. A square bass, a catchy
marimba hook and some vocal sprinkles make for the aural equivalent of salted

Camille
Camille is the musical project of Belgian singer-songwriter Camille
Willemart, who currently lives in Leipzig, Germany. She likes to call her
music 'melancholic soothing folk', inspired by nature, dreams,
self-reflection, human relationships as well as the ever-changing aspect of
things. She learned her first guitar chords from her mother and has since
developed her own ways of creating music. At the age of 18, while living a
year on the south coast of England, she started performing on the streets for
the first time. Since then, the streets have become a playground where
Camille Camille not only developed her vocal skills but also gained insight
in the importance of an honest and raw approach to connect with her audience.
In 2019, Camille Camille made it to the finals of 'De Nieuwe Lichting' a
talent scout by Belgian national radio Studio Brussel with her amazing debut
single "Strawberry Moon". She got on board with record label On The
Level, entered into a partnership with Toutpartout Agency as her European
agent, released a single with Sam de Nef, and also released quite a few
singles of her own, which all did very well within the Belgian music
landscape, making her one of the Duyster revelations of the past year, a
beloved show on national radio. Camille Camille is now ready to share her
much anticipated debut album 'Could You Lend Me Your Eyes' with the world.
The first part of the recordings was done in Sweden, where she worked with
producer Anders Lagerfors. But, as the Corona epidemic continued to rage,
Camille Camille had to improvise for the second part and decided to finish
the album in her bedroom with this beautiful dreamy folk record as a result.
Let the compelling husky voice of Camille Camille soothe your soul and submerge
yourself into her wistful melodies of soft bedroom folk, who delicately bring

Calypso developed into its modern
form in Trinidad around the turn of the twentieth century as a primarily
English-language topical song associated with pre-Lenten Carnival. By the
1920s, Calypsonians, as the singers and composers were called, performed in
"tents" (yards covered by a tarp, union halls, and such) for the
people of Trinidad and for tourists. As early as the 1930s, the genre was
gaining a following outside of its homeland: for example the British writer
Aldous Huxley visited a tent in 1933 and wrote with admiration about calypso
singing : " The Calypsonians of Trinidad live in another 'Zeit': so the
'Geist' they obey is not the same as ours. In that, it may be, they are

Barrel began his journey under the banners of Dispatch, with his first album
on the label a defining part of his rise as an artist. The Russian native has
since proven his weight. And following a host of EPs and his debut album
"Last Frontier" in 2018, he's now firmly established himself from
newcomer to a frequent part of set lists across the drum & bass genre.
This is set to continue with his brand-new LP, which is about debut once
again on Dispatch, with Black Barrel making new ground and building on the
platform he created with the label's encouragement three years prior. The

Can Love Be Synth are in love with old analogue machines and
define their specific sound in the legendary Synthesizer Studio Hamburg. A
synth collectors paradise hidden behind the big grey walls of a Bunker
building and the club Uebel & Gefährlich between the Reeperbahn and
Schanzenviertel district in Hamburg, Germany. Their new song ‘Bunker’ is now
available as a digital and vinyl release on A CLEAN CUT including fantastic
remixes by Richard Fearless, Terr and quadratschulz. The Bunker building is currently
extended with a 54-meter-high superstructure for an ultra-violent instant
gentrification. In the original version of the song the heavy blows of
hammers are clearly audible. This sound journey from zen to noise is a
beautifully shimmering ‘black hole made from music’, where implosion and
explosion energetically meet. If it needed another reason for the clubs to
reopen, this song would be the one - it is perfect for long nights and for
days without light rays |

Vicente
Rodriguez aka Nicson makes his debut on Disc Over with a killer package of
warped house music aimed straight at the dancefloor. The package is topped
off by a killer remix by the legendary Nail. Nail is an alias of Neil
Tolliday, a UK producer whose solo work mostly stopped around the turn of the
millennium when he started making downtempo music in the duo Bent. Before
that, he'd released a string of punchy house EPs as Nail, primarily for
Classic and DIY, a label based in his hometown of Nottingham. His records
became favorites among house DJs, and remained so more than a decade later,
when one of his songs, "Til the Feeling's Gone," popped up on Zip's
fabric 67 (and was, for many, a stand-out of the mix). Building on the big
impact of the first two releases from label boss Tim Green and Luca Lozano
& Mr Ho, Disc Over Music is back with an excellent new EP from Nicson.
The four-track package comes with a standout remix from long standing house
champion, DIY Discs man and former member of downbeat duo, Bent, namely Nail
aka Neil Tolliday. The fast rising Nicson appeared on the label's last
release with a fantastic remix and now deservedly gets a full EP of his own |

After an impressive label debut in March this year, Swedish pair
Patrick Siech & Sandra Mosh re-link for a multi-faceted follow-up.
Inspired by the '90s production ethos of broad-minded genre agnosticism, the
EP spans a trio of dreamy, yet functional cuts, displaying the producers’
fluid production arrangements. A fourth track bucks the sonic trend, ‘PPMV1’
a tribute to a pigeon the duo rescued but ultimately succumbed to the virus
of the same name. In contrast the track is a punchy bass-led weapon,
simultaneously deliciously disorientating and immersive. Siech has been a
symbol of quality in the Swedish underground techno scene going back more
than a decade, collaborating with the revered Sebastian Mullaert and
releasing on Minus, Parabel and Break New Soil, among others. Sandra Mosh,
similarly, is deeply respected by those in-the-know, gaining wide recognition
with a show on Swedish national radio P3, playing festivals and clubs
including Sónar, Berghain and Kazantip and running her own label MOSH Muzik |

Imagine Andrew Weatherall producing Pere Ubu. The 7” Taki Chrome
/ Strummer Maxxx single by Pink Skull released on Höga Nord Rekords give a
hint of how such a collaboration would sound. Mid seventies kraut rock á la
“Neu 75” meet leftfield and sophisticated punk. The record has an organic
warmth to it yet the excessive use of electronics: most instruments on the
tracks are synthesizers and drum machines – all Moog, Korg and whatnot. In
the warmth of the Pink Skull-sound you suddenly get a wash of cold, hard rain
from all directions. These elements of surprise create edges in the round
soundscape and brings chaos to the mix. This is of course all part of Julian

stone thrown, just to watch it fly. a projectile launched for the sole
purpose of drawing a ballistic trajectory in the sky. the solens arc is what
remains after the subtraction of the goal; a simple parabolic curve defined
by gravity, impulse and starting angle. no target to hit, no catharsis to
wait for, just the beauty of the flight. solens arc is kangding ray’s fourth
album on raster-noton and the follow-up to his the pentaki slopes ep. taking
the arc as the purpose, the twelve songs of the record are arranged/
presented in the form of four variations, constructed from disintegrated
melodic textures and dismantled beats. the specific arrangement is also
expressed in the positioning of the tracks on the record itself, reserving
one side of the double lp for three tracks each. the single sequences are
assembled seamlessly into dense, evolving compositions, while keeping their
autonomy, and their role in the global dramaturgy. pointillist serial loops
morph into abrasive rave anthems, broken club rhythms are refitted into
uneven patterns, like deconstructivist sound architectures. industrial techno
stompers dissolve into granular sound waves and filtered space pads, before
being overtaken by cinematic drums and rising arpeggios |

to deliver Sounds From The Void, XVI Records are proud to welcome London
based Producer Delonte Rivers back to the label, with his brand new EP
‘Delonte In Dub’ Having previously released his ‘Midnight Congas’ EP back in
2018 (as well as a slew of edits and releases with Banana Hill, Love Above
Recordings and more) Delonte now channels an elevated state of consciousness
into a new dubbed out, subterranean sonic offering. Returning with the
galvanising track ‘Rise Again’, Delonte enlists the vocals of Sir Moon (also
the voice of local hellraisers Muckspreader) giving a furious manifesto on
the state of the union. Psyched out guitar stabs reverberate ripple across a
turbulent sea of low end frequencies, as a rock-steady rhythm section holds
the line. ‘Dub Again’ unsurprisingly strips back the original into a state of
ethereal and reverb soaked hypnosis. ‘Cosmic Frequencies’ bring a cosmic
slice of bass weight, whilst ‘One For Road’ injects a surreal, eerie
atmosphere into the proceedings. This record is one for a hazed-summer in a
strange dystopian world |

Swedish affair on this new Boss Musik release by the Flord King. Three warm,
rich, funky, modern house tracks on the 9th release on the lovely label
curated by Johanna Schneider. The opening track "Shakkuri" has
Flord King expertly demonstrating his trademark groove, letting the confident
bassline lead the way through a complicated blueprint of fluttering techy
sounds, with hi-hats and snares in constant dialogue. Spanning just over 10
minutes - King serves up a seductive slice of eternity. A sneaky sample
appears on B1 in "Gucki", delivering subliminal messages
throughout. Together with a loose, trippy Fender Rhodes-melody, King has
bumped up the bassline a notch, turning the cut into a crunchy organ-sounding
minimal, yet super-bouncy, house track. The subtle voice continues together
with "the Flordian-groove" in B2, but this time King dives into
deeper territory: every sonic space in "Flory" is filled, yet it is
airy and reduced. Against a backdrop of dreamy flute-like instruments, Flord
King paints a gentle cooling image on the closing track, creating a soothing
dancefloor experience |

been growing since the early 90s. His sound is the perfect distillation of
machine soul - dubby atmospherics and crisp, danceable dynamics balanced in
perfect unison. Amsterdam's Delsin Records gathers together some of the Dutch
techno figurehead's most important, sought-after works in a new EP series,
all remastered from the original DAT tapes from Steve's archives. Adding to

six of his favourite Electronic Emergencies tracks to reconstruct. The second
part of a collaboration after a digital-only compilation of EE tracks by the
founder of Opilec Music in 2020, the six rigorous reconstructions on this
double 12-inch are long, luscious, and full of energy. Move Like Rays by
Machinegewehr was injected with a high-energy vibe, while Das Ding's Want
Need was transformed into an electro classic. Skeleton Head's queer anthem
Beaten, Bloody, Bruised was given the percussion treatment, Danza Obscura by
Borgie got an Italo Wave twist, and New Wave legends Chris Davis and
M/A/N/O/S had their tracks worked over by dubby electro and minimal techno.

Fernand Schirren was an exceptional musician and composer,
rhythm teacher to Bejart and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, silent film
accompanist of the Brussels Musee du cinema (now CINEMATEK) from its founding
in 1962 until the 1980s, and eccentric collector of pipes and romantic
postcards. He chose anything but a traditional historical-oriented approach,
and left his avant-garde stamp on the film, dance and music worlds at home
and abroad. This compilation gathers never before published works that
Schirren specially composed for the short films 'Dimanche' by Edmond Bernhard
in 1963, 'Masques' by Jean-Marie Buchet and Marc Lobet in 1959, and Cartoon
Circus by Benoit Lamy and Picha in 1972. Some of the most intense and curious
soundtracks cinema ever gave us |

Pluto
is the moniker of British born producer Rolo McGinty, a name you might not be
familiar with. In the early 1990s Rolo was responsible for some of the most
forward thinking and exciting records to be released on labels such as Mr.
C's Plink Plonk, Irdial, Octopus and ITP. His albums 'Rising' and 'Demolition
Plates' are unsung examples of some of the finest House and Techno and speak
to the creativity and originality of the producer. For WRECKS035, Klasse
Wrecks are very proud to present a repress of two of Pluto's most sought
after tracks'. Originally released in 1994 on Rare Grooves (a sub label of
USA Import Records) the EP Pluto's Retreat compromised of two versions of
'Anna' both of which are presented here remastered for modern times. 'Anna' and
'Anna Two' are great examples of House music of the highest quality; brash,

project LOUDER THAN CHAOS. On March 2020 the world was abruptly thrown into
collective disarray. The Pandemic stopped almost everything dead in its
tracks. No social gatherings, self isolation, a sense of panic and
bewilderment prevailed. An industry that had become so dependent on human
connection and unity, was suddenly switched off and put on pause for an
unforeseeable future. It was in this climate that The Louder Than Chaos
project was born, facilitated by Soma Records head honchos and techno
protagonists Slam. A collaborative project with friends, colleagues and
contemporaries normally only seen at airports, or events, now brought
together under a completely different set of circumstances, allowing for a
purposeful connection in a time of disconnect. The focus of the project is
built on a powerful mutual participation, remotely constructed over time and
fully intended for holding court on peak time dance floors when they

888 Miles E.P. includes two original tracks, 888 Miles and 777 Miles, which
both develop a psychological tension that leads to moments of euphoric
liberation where the synths soar and allow the mind the wander, accompanied
by a rhythmic groove. There is a slightly different sensitivity between the
two tracks that you'll can easlyer constat. Then, don't forget, even if the
approach sounds different, the soul remains the same. The other original
track, 000 Miles, places you on a spacecraft, with ambient musicality
sounding like it could have been generated by hydraulic pipes or air
conditioning. This E.P. release also includes '888 Miles XXX Reshape', a deep
techno remix by none other than the awesome Francois X. He's probably the
best person to describe it: "I've known David & Kevin (Klash Point
duo) for a while now and when they suggested that I produce a remix for them,
it was natural to say yes. It's funny how this piece of music saw the light,
as it has a completely altered tone from the original. It's definitely one of
my funkier tracks, with trippy and bluesy vibes - like a trip deep into the

child of punk and noise, Pierre G. Desenfant, under the Blackthread monicker,
pursues the multiple incantations of an immersive and inner quest, carved
from the limbo of his own dreams, cinematographic miniatures where the
intimacy of words and spoken word meets the chiseled luxury of analog
machines. In his songs of a new century, Blackthread experiments with the
precision of the scalpel, an outstanding storyteller floating on vaporous
synthetic mist. Sumptuous magnetic clouds in which balances an emaciated
bass, choirs on the horizon, a soul keyboard or a minimal, almost hypnotic
beat. We slide between scenes in sequences, carried by the echo of this voice
dancing between the murmuring and the sung, hints of Gil-Scott Heron flirt
with Pansonic, Coil and Eno-esque ambience. Written and constructed over
three years, his third album The Way You Haunt My Dreams was recorded with
urgency in only a few days, with the contribution of sounds from friends
Béatrice Morel, Frédéric D. Oberland, Stéphane
Pigneul deOiseaux-Tempête, Rémi Dulaurier and the complicity of
Johannes Buff (Zombie Zombie, Lee Ranaldo and The Dust, Enablers) in the mix.
Contemporary photographer Gaël Bonnefon illustrates the album with his
striking silver-toned clichés.
Sparkling with a sensitive bark and piercing directly the heart,
Blackthread delivers with The Way You Haunt My Dreams a black and red
diamond, addictive hollywood wandering, already blending into the night to
haunt dreams in technicolour. Blackthread is a story of development. Removing
the traditional guitars and drums of noise rock in which he made his more
conventional apprenticeship, Desenfant has reached a minimalistic formula in
