long-range camera in the other, techno’s most enduring naturist Eulberg
returns to Stephan Bodzin’s Herzblut. ‘Mimikry & Mimese’ is every fathom
as deep as you’d hope it to be… Both sonically, conceptually and how they
draw their influence. ‚Mimikry’ is classic Eulberg; several tales bound
together into one immersive narrative where melodic phrases that at first
appear disparate, gradually correlate with each other by way of delicately
placed rhythmic elements and FX. With spiked melodic hooks, the elements
display signs of danger, but the heart and soul – like all Eulberg tracks -
is warm and friendly. ‘Mimese’ takes a similar twist to ‘Mimikry’ in that the
melodic arrangement is based on distinct themes that gradually align, morph
and complement each other. Deftly developed over a looser drum arrangement
with much denser cosmic pads, its yet another unique story told in Eulberg’s
inimitable way. Two whirling immersive narratives, two camouflage concepts

member of Thee Headcoatees. They were put together by Kent garage rock legend
Billy Childish as his backing band before they decided to go it alone. Whilst
Thee Headcoatees blended girl group-style pop with rudimentary garage rock,
Holly Golightly's solo career has seen her basing her sound on blues, folk
rock and a gentler strain of rock n' roll. Singles Round-Up compiles the A
and B sides of her first twelve singles, mixing covers, perhaps most

This compilation is a research
project commissioned by Urvakan with the support of the Goethe-Institut. It
archives a selection of recordings contributed by some of the artists from
post-Soviet countries who were meant to play at Urvakan 2020 - a festival
that never really happened. The artists were asked to explore the idea of
"collective memories" in sound by using aural techniques capable of
evoking reminiscences in the subconsciouses of people from fairly different
locations, but that are in some ways similar in their cultural codes. The
submissions we received were not only inspiring, but also quite accurately
fell in line with Urvakan's declared focus on "hauntological" music
practices, referenced in the festival's name itself - "urvakan" is
the Armenian word for ghost, phantom, or spirit. Curated by Andrei Zailer

birthday series sees another collaboration for label head, James Ruskin.

An original vinyl copy of SPIRITS
AND WORM (A&M SP 4229) is among the rarest collectors item LPs around.
This item was released briefly in 1969, primarily in the New York City area
and only a few copies got out before it disappeared. The legend goes that the
album was pulled from distribution because the cover art (a couple of goats
resting on a tombstone) was rumored to be satanic. A listen to the music, a
collection of love songs with a Jefferson Airplane and Santana type sound,
quickly disspells such associations. 'Fanny Firecracker' and 'You and I
Together', featuring the Grace Slick-like vocals of Adrianne Maurici, came
out as a single (A&M 1104). Other group members were Carlos Hernandez
(primary songwriter), Artie Hicks Jr., Alfred Scotti, and Tommy Parris. Don't
know any more about them. Would like to know where they are today and what
they-re doing. Collectors of obscure vintage psychedlia shouldn't miss out on
this |

& Walnut' consists of some of the earliest material that the Descendents
ever wrote, dating from 1977 to 1980. The punk legends' classic line-up of
vocalist Milo Aukerman, bassist Tony Lombardo, guitarist Frank Navetta and
drummer Bill Stevenson began committing them to tape, at last, in 2002.
Although they had not finished by the time of Navetta's sad passing in 2008,
during 2020 Aukerman completed his vocals during lockdown and the results
were finally mixed. The results represent something of a lost chapter in the
story of one of punk's most enduring outfits |

Previous album To Walk a Middle Course was a harrowing psychological ride,
but Time Will Fuse Its Worth is more about the rock. If this album were a

21, 1983 by the labels Allegiance and LAX Records. It was the band's last
album to feature the band's original rhythm section of bassist Roger Rogerson
and drummer Lucky Lehrer. Lehrer was fired from the group in the middle of
recording the album, and John Ingram was hired to finish the recording. After
their departures, the band's music took a different direction on their next

The MTV-sponsored evening began
with opening sets by Cypress Hill and the Breeders. Nirvana's set began with
Cobain's purposefully harsh "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter," whose
title mocks the music industry's incorrigible focus on producing inoffensive,

record is a celebration of things starting to approach a sense of normality
in the world (for the most part anyway). It's celebrating being able to do
your favourite things again, it's celebrating being able to dance in your
favourite clubs again and it's celebrating being able to see your favourite
friends & family again. The ever-popular Laurence Guy chalks up his
fourth vinyl release on Bristol's Shall Not Fade, sharing four tracks which
span the breadth of his production skill. After a year which started with the
stunning Mutual Excitement is a Wonderful Thing, and saw Guy remix rising
artists like Dermot Kennedy & Sofia Kourtesis, it is a delight to see him
return to the label which has become something of a home for him. Your Good
Times Are Here EP's title track is a reprise to the sun-soaked filter house
of 2020's "Your Good Times Will Come", leaning on the club sound
palette harder than its forebear and making subtle explorations into acid
grooves. "I Know You Feel Sad" strikes a contrast, its slowly
stuttering rhythm and vocals stuck on repeat giving a sombre sense of
reflection - the party vibes quickly returning for "Yeh Good, You?"
a pacey 303 number which pauses just enough for a distorted, breathless
breakdown. Making reference to the outing on Shall Not Fade from early 2021,
"Mutual Disappointment is a Terrible Thing" closes the record on
lingering piano melodies and eerie vocals - a delicate reflection upon its
sister track |

Debuting
on Fluid Funk with a lush and lax voyage dreamy coastal scapes, Dutch artist
Uzu Moon dishes out feel-good, Cali-funk-informed vibes by the dozen over the
course of four delectably smooth tracks, infused with elements of LA beat,
soulful house and post-balearic elevation - including a rework from Cody
Currie. A bespoke late-summer joint to bump out loud in your open-top,
"Asa" gets the ball rolling slo-mo style, brittle piano stabs
chiming alongside mangled rap samples, playful acid spurts and a languid
jazzy shuffle to drive it all. Funky synth hooks blazing, "Sunder,
Love" lets off washed-out RnB vibrations over beds of 303-emulating
squelch, topped off with a guitar solo a la Santana like you're chilling out
in Venice Beach. "When I Get Home, I'll Know It's Over" then heads
for the opposite side of the Pacific with its koto-esque resonances, soft
tapping drums and rugged acid loops weaving a melancholia-laced, loungey
narrative for the dance floor and not. "Sunder, Love" as reshaped
by Shall Not Fade affiliate Cody Currie revs things up two notches further,
turning the original into a doped-up chugger, primed for sustained hustlin' n
bustlin' in the ballroom with its convulsive congas and vaporous melody
fluttering like a groovy butterfly |

The
"Tetragonal EP" marks the fourth and final release of the Stone
Techno series for this year. Together with the Ruhr Museum foundation we were
able to create a very unique concept which refers to the notable history of
the Ruhr Area. The collaboration with each artist was a great pleasure and
experience for us and as you might already know if you're following this
project since the first release: all of the results that reached us were
impressively various and ingenious. On the "Tetragonal" EP you will
find a nicely curated mixture of artists and tracks, which takes you on a
mesmerizing journey. In the beginning our dear friend Dax J delivers a
straightforward 6-minute banger that he's known for. Followed by an anthemic
and yet percussive piece of Hadone which reminds us of the long raving nights
we all have missed so much. On the B-side Colin Benders ennobles mineralogy
with a carefully composed arrangement which drives you deep into modular
synthesis, while Felix Fleer takes you on a late night trip with oscillating
tones and harmonies. We hope you enjoy our last Stone Techno release for this
year and don't worry: there's a lot more to come in 2022 with a new sample

music of Parallax is part of the foundation of Zodiak Commune Records since
1998. With ZC002 - Sinister Projects EP- and ZC005 - Occult Technology EP,
Parallax created timeless underground anthems which are being reflected in
the Archive EP. With previously unreleased live recordings, this EP is a
well-preserved document of the past whilst being relevant in today's
underground techno and acid scene. Parallax his live set was recorded at the
legendary "old" Effenaar (Acid City Eindhoven, The Netherlands)
while the Zodiak Commune's 10th anniversary was being celebrated. With its
massive and no-nonsense acid-techno sound, Parallax transformed the
dancefloor into a vortex, fueling up people with positive energy while taking

timeliness of this and “The Planets” by Gustav Holst. Both released at
similar eras of their centuries. Holst in 1918 and Mills at 2017, each are
unique in terms of the economic and political conditions and uncertainty of
emerging and expanding industries. In 1918, it was the end of the War and the
Industrial Age, the replacement of manual labor with the invention of
application of the tireless and union-free machine. In 2017, people are once again,
being replaced by another man-made creation, computers and the Internet in
the workforce – both eras of societies in transition, both greatly affected
by identity, self worth and reflection of what it means to be worthy. Both
eras are struggles of being barricaded by the past and forced to recognize
the future – even when it’s a future that seems to not recognize everyone.
The story of other Planets could be defined as an alternative to the

100 years since the British composer Gustav Holst introduced his most famous
score «The Planets». An elegant musical tour to each one of our Planets in
the Solar System, Holst brought forth imaginary visions of space that would
survive many generations and decades after. As an important piece to the
classical universe, “The Planets“ is regularly played throughout the World
every year as it had been the most vivid translation of our cosmic
neighborhood until now. The Electronic Music artist and producer Jeff Mills,
pays tribute to this century of incredible musical production. He embarks to
compose a sonic journey to re-discover our neighboring planets in a 18 piece
suite that explores the nine planets, including the portions of space in
between the Planets, the nine regions Mills calls Loop Transits. Deeply
inhabited by science-fiction, Jeff Mills adopts its ideas, concepts, stories
and esthetics from the outset. For him, Space is an obsession and his music
almost becomes a musical science-fiction. Conquering space, his music
embodies the future while both respecting the past and remaining well into
the present. Mills takes the rotating principle of the solar system as
aesthetics, concept and model for creativity. From the beginning, his first
releases explore futuristic and science fiction topics and continue to do so
to this day. For Jeff Mills, the future is a powerful creative drive which
explains the artist’s ceaseless activity. Since its creation and like the
intention of Holst, each track is musically imagined to invoke the
psychological affect, emotions and ideas of each planet. But unlike in the
year 1918, when the score was first publicly heard on the last week of World
War I, 100 years later, we now have a more accurate knowledge about what each
Planet is made of and what they look like. The piece should bring the
audience closer to confronting each planet in ways that audiences in 1918
could only dream of. With the French composer Sylvain Griotto, the arranger
of Planets and Mills’ previous work on the album and classical score about
the NASA astronaut and doctor Mamoru Morhi’s space journey in 1992 and 2000
from the album “Where Light Ends“, Mills has created an electronic music
album that have been translated for symphonic and philharmonic orchestras and
will accompany them in their live debut and all performances. Starting to
conceptualize and produce music for it dating back to 2005, Mills constantly
worked on the project over the years to bring it to fruition. In July 2016
Jeff Mills has completed the last production stages of the Planets album at
the world famous Abbey Road Studios in London. Recorded and will be released
in 5.1 surround on the Blue Ray digital format, the soundtrack needed a
particular high level of expertise that could only be attended to at hands of
the renowned senior studio engineer Jonathan Allen. The expertise and quality
associated with the legendary Abbey Road Studios is recognized globally and
undeniably the most famous studio in the World. It is with acclaim from the
Beatles, Pink Floyd, or more recently Radiohead before him, that Jeff Mills
will bring Planets at this legendary music institution. The mastering
sessions occurred on August 2016 with the acclaimed Mastering engineer Darcy
Proper in Holland. A serie of live listening sessions will be organise in

strengths from the past twenty years, whether it's filthy, head-spinning
tornado tracks or synth-laden love songs for a summer's day. With
"DISSIDÆNCE" Episode 1, whose powerful beats and galloping
sequencers translate the social and political anger of the global pandemic,
Vitalic looks into his past and channels his love for off-kilter synth
sounds, skew-whiff pads, heady refrains, distorted vocals and heavy beats
dripping with sex and sweat, but above all his obsessional passion for dance

After releasing two EP’s, an
album ( ‘SAY’, 2018) and one live EP, run SOFA is back with ‘FACE IT‘ and the
band is more confident about their music than ever. This second album is
musically raw and uses no tricks, leaving all the room to the power of their
sound and words. The repetitive and minimalist bass lines make the spine of
all the tracks, to which they add creaky guitar riffs and hypnotic drums. The
lead voice is unique and frank, speaking scathing and ironic lyrics.
Influenced by Show Me The Body, Sleaford Mods or Slint, the two cousins make
their own version of post-punk, flirting with its limits. The tracks were
recorded in Farrm Studio by Jan Viggria (The Guru Guru), mixed in J&J

On
his colourful fifth studio album ‘Elsewhere Bound’, Tiny Legs Tim swops the
acoustic bare-to-the-bone intimacy of its predecessor ‘Melodium Rag’ for a
fleshy production and a large band. Steaming horns and brooding percussion
set the tone. In the background, a honky-tonk piano is stamping away and a
harmonica wheezes, while voice and guitar tell a universal story. The
atmosphere is welcoming and festive, but the salty smell of sweat and tears
imply lingering disquiet. ‘Elsewhere Bound’ draws on the tradition of the
blues, but reveals itself as an intriguing change of direction in comparison
to the stripped-down ‘Melodium Rag’. The direct approach and the search for
authenticity during the recording process was kept, but TLT felt the need to
push the boundaries on ‘Elsewhere Bound’. Musical impressions during a
journey through New Orleans (classic jazz, the remarkable horn arrangements,
the contemporary Nola-funk) paved the way. With the new album, TLT is picking
the fruits of that approach. Tiny Legs Tim knew from the beginning with whom
he wanted to record the new album and brought together a fantastic band
consisting of experienced musicians with an own style and personality. TLT
consciously kept the production loose. ‘Elsewhere Bound’ distinguishes itself
by its vision and its attention to detail. The musical freedom the musicians
were granted within the contours of the album is highlighted by their
spontaneous contributions. They recorded the album live in one venue (no
overdubs), which results in a sultry mixture of Blues, Soul, Rumba,
Americana, Neil Young (the atmosphere of ‘On The Beach’), Touaregblues,
Louisiana Swamp, and Woodstock Rhythm & Blues. Tom Callens (Lady Linn,
Lester’s Blues) is responsible for the prominent horn arrangements and
co-producer Frederik Segers was a second pair of ears on the performance of
each take. They always kept the original goal in mind : a warm,
analogue-mixed album that captures the organic energy of the studio as
accurately as possible, allowing the listener to ‘see’ the band. Radical
live, with an edge. human, detailed, balanced, full of contrasts and
unpretentious. ‘Elsewhere Bound’ is not a genre album, but rather a versatile
release on which Tiny Legs Tim is credible and innovative. The sound is
expanded by 10 new songs. The original blues feeling is recognisable, but
somehow different. The search for music never stops: Tiny Legs Tim proves
himself an continuously evolving artist. His visual approach is also
refreshing: he collaborated with artist Jannes De Schrijver on the design on

Perc
returns to Perc Trax with an EP designed to capture the energy and chaos of
rave without relying on the same classic sounds that have been in constant
use since the early 90's. 'Greed Dance' is Perc's first full EP in 14 months,
following 'Fire In Negative' on Perc Trax back in September 2020. Since then
Perc has pushed through lockdown with an intense production regime resulting
in tracks being signed to Lebendig, Possession, RAW and Rote Sonne, as well
as this EP for Perc Trax. Originally started at Christmas last year, lead
track 'Greed Dance' started life as an anger fueled full vocal track aimed
squarely at the hypocrisy of certain sections of the dance music industry,
but over time has been stripped down to a tight rhythm track with sparse vocal
elements reflecting a change of mood as the UK's clubs and events were
finally allowed to open again this summer. B1 ' Resistor' takes a similar
approach as previous Perc release 'Toxic NRG', looking to squeeze maximum
dance floor drama out of a small group of continually tweaked sounds. Finally
B2 track '240 Volts' layers rapid fire organ arpeggios over a rock solid kick
& bass foundation to create something fresh for both Perc and techno in
general. 'Greed Dance' will be released on limited edition cola bottle green
12" vinyl, packaged in a full colour double-sided sleeve designed by
regular Perc Trax design crew Adult Art Club. The EP was written &
produced by Perc at his home studio and mixed down by Perc at MAP Studios in
London. The EP was mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis, London |
