Colombian sisters Elia and
Elizabeth Fleta recorded a handful of songs between 1972 and 1973,
accompanied by Jimmy Salcedo and his group La Onda Tres, mixing soft-pop with
a touch of tropical-pastoral funk, singer-songwriter sweetened by the subtle
perfume of Caribbean music and psychedelia. These elements blended
graciously, brimming with freshness, in a perfect partnership of sharp
melodies with lyrics inspired by a genuine juvenile curiosity about life's
mysteries, love and nature in their simplest forms. We are now happy to
present the two albums recorded by the Fleta sisters in the early 70s as they
were originally released on Colombia's Codiscos-Zeida label. Audios have been
remastered and we have preserved the original artwork of the albums. First

Gorriak find a reason for hope: 'Spreading the idea'. This is the title of an
album that is more positive than optimistic, like Spearhead's 'Home', which
leaves behind the darkness of the previous one, but without forgetting it.
The last romantic revolution of the Zapatistas ('people first'), the
beginning of the Irish peace process, the birth of Fermin's first child and
his stays in Central America help to set the context of an album that opens
its fist and shows its hand, although it doesn't extend it to just anyone. It
is one thing to be positive and quite another to err on the side of naivety.
A distant relative of Mano Negra's''Casa Babylon', 'Idea zabaldu'
incorporates a barrage of sounds, many of them Latin, which don't always fit
together smoothly because it loses precision by insisting on crossing too
many styles in the same song and resorting to riffs that are often very
clichéd. It also highlights Fermin's difficulty in adapting his voice to more
lilting registers. A difficulty that he himself acknowledges and avoids by
handing over the microphone to Sorkun (from the band Kashbad) in 'Nire baitan
daude biak' and to Irantzu Silva and Javi Pez in 'Aizu' (pure De La Soul), a
beautiful song to understand AIDS sufferers and fight against their
marginalisation. Positive feelings of internationalist fraternity ('Salam,
agur') alternate with messages of understanding and respect, denouncing
sexism and child exploitation, in favour of freedom of expression and with a
brave confession: 'Inside me the tyrant and the liberator are housed / The
fight begins inside me / Let's free our minds'. Almost full stop. Aim for 8

artists are back again with a new alias working mainly in analog sound and

The next drop on Livity Sound is
the first collaboration from long-time label mainstays Hodge and Simo Cell.
True to the styles the artists have individually marked out since first
appearing on Livity Sound circa 2014-15, LIVITY050 presents fiercely imaginative,
upfront club music across a spectrum of tempos. The supple, fluid approach to
electronic music the two producers are separately known for feeds into a
cohesive partnership, whether they’re turning their hand to
dancehall-inspired, sub-100BPM heavy hitters or jagged, technicolour
half-step tapestries. Livity Sound is a label set up by Peverelist in 2011 as
a vehicle for a raw and exploratory strain of UK techno, rooted in the

from the front> ALGARA's first LP is here. From Barcelona, the land where
the CNT-FAI shined in 1936, now the anarchist bombs explode again through the
twelve tracks of 'Absortos en el Tedio Eterno'. Ever wondered what would have
happened if the RONDOS and CRASS had joined forces at the Conway Hall or if
AVIADOR DRO and ESPLENDOR GEOMETRICO never had a couple of judo kicks and the
four started a new band? Well, then you are close to imagining how ALGARA
sounds. At times sparse militant punk a la CRISIS& FALLOUT filtered thru
the KGB/ SINIESTRO TOTAL machine. At times minimal synthetic idealist
anthems, but always revolutionary, forward thinking, and making the sound
their own. The anonymous collective self recorded 'Absortos en el Tedio Eterno'
in a Barcelona squat while engaging in their agitprop campaigns. With songs
about poor working conditions, the constant evictions, youth unemployment,
and a city consumed by tourism and other forms of gentrification, the LP is a
cold call to arms for today's political punk. The LP sleeve shows members of
the collective at one of their rendezvous point looking cool. Comes with an

For the first time on vinyl, this
compilation brings excerpts from electroacoustic pieces written by Jocy de
Oliveira from 1987 to 1993. Jocy is considered a pioneer in avant-garde
electroacoustic music in Brasil, also as a pianist, working with famous 20th-century
musicians like Igor Stravinsky, Oliver Messiaen, Cláudio Santoro, Luciano
Bério, John Cage, K. Stockhausen and Xenakis. Her main musical tools are
human voice, Yamaha TX and DX7 synthesizers, woodwind instruments, tablas,
electric violin, and less traditional instruments from other cultures. In her
pieces, Jocy talks about imagination, mythologies connected to the sacred
feminine and contemporary physics cosmology. Jocy plays synthesizers in all
tracks and is accompanied by great musicians as Ayrton Pinto, Joseph Celli,
Sang Won Park, Ricardo Rodrigues and Anna Maria Kieffer. The LP comes with an

Funky Chicken brings together

human-ness of sound means the sounds can speak in their own special way. Of

out blood relative business, TEMET’s anticipated fourth iteration comes
courtesy of up-and-coming French producer Less-O - a relatively new name to
the scene but whose musical lineage and shared DNA with Simo shall sound no
stranger to our listeners’ ears. Raised in a family of music lovers and
classical guitar players, Less-O first dabbled in music through the prism of
drums, mostly jazz, which have played a big part in the development of his
approach towards electronic production (he only picked up a couple of years
ago), and obviously runs the length of his debut solo EP, “Shenanigans”, due
out 9 November on TEMƎT. Recorded during the recent lockdown that pushed
him to explore further ahead his thendormant potential within the electronic
sphere, writing most of the tracks over lengthy night watch shifts,
“Shenanigans” champions a sound both dark and subtly elating. The EP fuses an
immersive and brooding neo-noir ambience with Jon Hassell-ian brass a la
Blues Nile and flooded machinery on ”Bumblebee”, whilst “Clan D” peeps at
slowed-and-throwed trap motifs with muted savagery. A shadowy hood joint
primed for slo-cruising around the blocks. Contemporary trip-hop number is on
the menu with “Meditative Walk”, laying macroscopic emphasis on faux-organic
envelopes and insectoid sounds as ominous riffs and brittle chimes scud
across. Tapping in cross-knit seams of hard-edged bass and future dancehall,
“Behind Closed Doors” reels out as a fractured kaleidoscope flush with
hypermodern rhythmic shards, cascading bleeps and knee-buckling breaks. The
mystique-imbued polyrhythmia of “A Third” rounds off the package with
incendiary percussive flair, unleashing a hypnotic symphony of skilfully

collaborate with Hector Oaks, 999999999, Keith Tucker (AKA Optic Nerve),
Amelie Lens, Rebekah, AnD & Perc, for a new five part Soma Records
project LOUDER THAN CHAOS. On March 2020 the world was abruptly thrown into
collective disarray. The Pandemic stopped almost everything dead in its
tracks. No social gatherings, self isolation, a sense of panic and
bewilderment prevailed. An industry that had become so dependent on human
connection and unity, was suddenly switched off and put on pause for an
unforeseeable future. It was in this climate that The Louder Than Chaos
project was born, facilitated by Soma Records head honchos and techno
protagonists Slam. A collaborative project with friends, colleagues and
contemporaries normally only seen at airports, or events, now brought
together under a completely different set of circumstances, allowing for a
purposeful connection in a time of disconnect. The focus of the project is
built on a powerful mutual participation, remotely constructed over time and
fully intended for holding court on peak time dance floors when they
inevitably return. That time has now finally come. The Louder Than Chaos
project is a series of 5 releases, on 12 vinyl" & Digital, to be
released monthly via Soma Records. Featuring collaborations between Slam
& Hector Oaks, Slam & 999999999 Slam & Keith Tucker (AKA Optic
Nerve), + more to follow. Each EP features specially commissioned artwork

E.P." by Marmion was released 28 years ago on 15th of April 1993.
Unavailable for more than 20 years the legendary Berlin EP from Marmion is
back as original repress, re-mastered and re-cut. The fourth release on
Superstition Records and especially the included "Schöneberg" was
suddenly heavily championed in the Benelux and UK, e.g. by Tony De Vit (RIP)
@ legendary London's Turnmills @ Trade events and soon became a legendary
status as one of the biggest House or Tech-House hymns of its time,
celebrated in the best clubs by the most renowned DJs worldwide. But this
E.P. has much more to offer, Marcos Lopez and Mijk can Dijk managed to
capture the very open minded spirit vibes and energy of the early 90s of
Berlin in four different and special tracks. "T-Dancer"for example
is Berlin's Hi-Nrg answer to the East Coast House and was simply the hymn of
the Gay-T-Dance scene worldwide. About Marmion: Mijk van Dijk and Marcos
Lopez met each other in 1986 when both did their academics at FU Berlin.
Marcos Lopez was yet working as a DJ at several Berlin clubs and was also the
moderator at the Eastern-Germany based cult-radio station "DT 64"
with the legendary programme "Nightflight". Mijk van Dijk worked as
a music journalist for magazines like "Frontpage", "CUT",
"HYPE!", "Network Press". In 1990 he released his first
record on the Berlin based Low Spirit label (LoopZone, Hate/Les enfants du
paradies). For the Berlin Bash-records he produced in 1991 solo and together
with DJ Tanith different 12"s, before he found a constant base at the
also Berlin based MFS label with projects like Microglobe, LoopZone and
Mindgear and on Superstition Records with his MIJK VAN DIJK projects |

foray into the world of disco with "United Disco
Organisation's"Send The Rain/Funky Thing. Conceived by producer/bassist
Neil Innes and guitarist/singer Chris Dawkins, United Disco Organisation
present two sprawling dancefloor fillers reminiscent of the early underground
disco explorations of philly soul and Joe Bataans Salsoul label. A-side
"Send The Rain" features the sinuous flute of label-mate Tony
Burkill before Chris Dawkins vocals takes centre stage, while the
instrumental features an extended flute solo from Tony. Dawkin's guitar
drives B-Side "Funky Thing" with Vibraphone bringing to mind Roy
Ayers ubiquity's mid to late 70s disco tracks on the instrumental. Scheduled
to be played on 27th November by Craig Charles on his flagship BBC6 Music
show, these 2 tracks have already garnered a great deal of interest including

Boyfriend, the solo project of North Carolina's Ryan Martin, who is also one
half of Boyzone (not that Boyzone, unfortunately) and founder of the Hot
Releases label - a catholic endeavour that has seen him release records from

in Utrecht is considered a masterpiece of Esplendor Geométrico, the cult

Cultural Centre EKKO, Utrecht - Holland, with a superb sound quality.
Produced for the program De Bovenbouw/Nos-Radio, Hilversum, Holland. First
released by Discos E.G. in 1990 and sold out on vinyl for 30 years! Except
"Signos de energía" (a faster version than the one in Mekano Turbo

Romania’s
Victor Stancov returns to his own Simple Tracks with its second release,
entitled ‘Bagnols Shuffle’ and accompanied by a remix from Cynosure’s Mike
Shannon. Victor Stancov launched his Simple Tracks imprint in 2020 with an EP
from himself, featuring a remix from Perlon trio Wareika. Perfectly setting
the tone for the imprint which leans towards slick, refined house grooves
with a micro house twist. Here the story continues with the label’s second
release once again retaining this aesthetic and keeping things bouncy and
playful. Title-track ‘Bagnols’ Shuffle’ leads the release, merging shuffled
drums and glitched out percussion with fluttering stab sequences and oft,
billowing pad lines. ‘Nothing Wrong With Going Back’ follows and brings a more
loop-driven feel courtesy of driving rides, rolling snares and bumpy bass
running alongside cinematic strings and bright stabs. Opening the flip-side
is ‘Georgie’s Units’, a dubbed-out house groove fuelled by echoing chords,
rumbling toms and crunchy drums. Lastly Cynosure head honcho rounds out the
release with his take on ‘Georgie’s Units’, treating us to a typically
twisted take on the original with mind bending modulations, intricately
nuanced bass tones, whirling synths and skippy hats throughout |

WARHEAD started in 1983 in
Brussels (Belgium) as a four piece. The young and aspiring metal boys were
taken under the wings of producer Jos Kloek who became their mentor for the
early days. Once the instruments were mastered to a satisfactory level, they
went into the studio to record an ear splitting and fast heavy metal album.
‘Speedway’ was released in 1985 by the iconic MAUSOLEUM label. WARHEAD still
sounds fresh today and should be honored as the true pioneer of Belgian speed
metal. On 11 december 2021, the label VINYL INVASION re-releases the first
album ‘SPEEDWAY’, exclusively on orange vinyl. This re-release awakens the
old school metal spirit. Founding member Didier Capelle & his partner in
crime Patrick Van Londerzele (original singer) have risen the metal force

Glimmering
medieval weaponry forged, polished and brandished, Zhenya Lavrinov arrives to
take us back in time and beyond the stars. As LVRIN, he appeared opposite
Maoupa Mazzochetti on a split EP for Arma – but one pockmark in a scattering
of machine-powered ruminations for respected, proudly underground labels –
and now he returns to wield a new alias across five tracks of ominous,
night-creeping sonics. The tracks making up Milky Way were recorded by
Bryansk-based Lavrinov between 2013 and 2020, reflecting a side of his
musical demanour not betrothed to the demands of the dancefloor. Golden Axe
is far from ambient though – this is still resolutely rhythmic music spoken
by specifically sculpted synths and powered by purposeful sequencers. There’s
a cosmic theme at play here, but ‘Moon Influence’ speaks as much to ancient
rites and man’s obsession with lunar forces as any space-age sci-fi symbolism
you might associate with gurgling electronic patterns. ‘Rhythmbox From Space’
may be brimming with analogue freakery, but it’s also locked into a rhythmic
mantra which tracks back to the dawn of humanity. Cementing the philosophy of
the record visually, Milky Way comes clothed in a striking artwork by Alina
Vinogradova. Lavrinov’s Golden Axe seems to hail from this very space
depicted on the cover, speaking through time-honoured tools and revelling in
universal mysticism as it opens a new chapter in his darkly seductive,
psychosomatic music |

Swedish
DJ Adeline lands on Crosstown Rebels with You*re Sick, a diverse four track
release that features a stunning remix from Rex Club regular D’Julz. The EP
opens with the title track You*re Sick. Pronounced kicks merge with subtle
pads, as an enchanting vocal sample whispers along. Bubble-like pops are
brought in alongside intermittent hi-hats, creating a real dance-floor ready
record. The D’Julz dub comes next. Staying true to the original, the addition
of an electro-like breakdown builds energy, before that addictively-good kick
is brought back in. Dust To Bone is a fast-paced minimal thumper, that takes
no prisoners as it moves along with a wholesome bassline and softly driving
percussion, before Rite De Passage rounds off the EP with powerful pads and
warm keys. Brought up in the rolling Swedish countryside, Adeline is a DJ,
producer and vocalist whose talents reach far further than the DJ booth.
Having founded electronic music duo Housewives with La Fleur in 2006, Adeline
has gone on to release standout productions on the likes of Culprit and
Kindisch Records. D’Julz is an artist whose presence in the scene has been
felt for decades. For twenty two years, the French native has been running
the now legendary “Bass Culture” night at Rex Club, and has hosted some of
the scenes most respected DJs in recent times, including Seth Troxler, Sonja
Moonear and Nicolas Lutz |

After
a brief wander ‘round the garden, Chilean-born Ricardo Tobar returns to the
ESP Institute bearing earthly delights. With 2017’s Liturgia, he introduced
his creative point-of-view—instantly substantiating a sense of rhythm that
was deliberately complex yet slightly rough around the edges, while touching
upon his musical origins from the guitar-driven corners of psychedelia—
however with his debut 2xLP Continuidad, he leaves us gobsmacked and seeking
shelter as he leaps from dancefloor comforts and descends into absolute chaos
(in more ways than one). Emotionally, the artist has crossed all previously
self-imposed and subconscious thresholds, putting his true imagination on
display and exposing an unwavering attraction to all things loud, orgasmic and
transcendent. He’s not subtly hinting at a fetish, but opening his arms wide
with conviction, abandoning genre taboos and personally inviting everyone to
join his enchanted caravan. Sonically, his appetite for intensity is clear
throughout—epic chord changes, ascending peaks in arrangement, accumulating
layers of grit that build into impenetrable blankets of distortion and
feedback—a kind of aural hedonism that translates visually into the potent
video abstractions our Mario Hugo has summoned for the album’s packaging. The
first single surrounding the Continuidad album is Birds (Continuacio´n), a
glorious extension of the album track that conjures imagery of shaman-led
rainforest exploration and illustrates the artist’s affinity for
Latin-American percussion. The flipside is an exclusive non-album cut La
Venida Del Mar, a bonafide big room thumper that carries all the rave
seasonings we’ve come to crave from Tobar |
