The soundtrack composed by
Maestro Nico Fidenco for the film of the same name directed by Mario Imperoli
starring a young Gloria Guida, is a collection of extremely refined tracks
ranging from beat to lounge, from smooth funk to 'space age pop'. One of the
most beautiful and even rarest soundtracks composed by Nico Fidenco. Copies
of the original edition with the CAM "Scoring Record" on the cover
are traded for more than 500 euros, while the very few uncensored copies
available are traded for around 5000 euros! Our reissue reproduces the CAM
"Scoring Record" artwork, with the Contempo Records logo in place
of the CAM logo. The entire original soundtrack has been restored and
remastered from the original analogic tapes by Roberto Zamori at the Film

classified as deep techno, but with enough power, groove and melody to set

For
its third installment, Luminære is proud to introduce one of its own. Long
time friend of label’s boss Daïf, frenchman Laurent is in charge for this
release, delivering his debut EP “What goes on inside”. Residing in Tokyo,
Laurent is a familiar face in the city’s underground techno scene where he
seeks inspiration among the many talented DJs and producers the city hosts.
LUMI03 is an introduction to his musical sensitivity, shaping his many
influences into something personal. The EP starts with Target Locked, an
energizing 4/4 banger filled with stabbing arpeggiators merging into a
powerful rumble. A2 follows with Synapses Overload which develops a dark,
eerie atmosphere punctuated by high pitched synth to create a mesmerizing
track. B side starts off with One More, probably the most dancefloor oriented
track of the four, with robotic synths building up an engaging melody over a
warm bass line. Finally, B2 features the more minimalist Won’t you listen.
Its groovy drums and powerful bass combined with anxious pads and synths
create an intoxicating melody |

project LOUDER THAN CHAOS. On March 2020 the world was abruptly thrown into
collective disarray. The Pandemic stopped almost everything dead in its
tracks. No social gatherings, self isolation, a sense of panic and
bewilderment prevailed. An industry that had become so dependent on human
connection and unity, was suddenly switched off and put on pause for an
unforeseeable future. It was in this climate that The Louder Than Chaos
project was born, facilitated by Soma Records head honchos and techno
protagonists Slam. A collaborative project with friends, colleagues and
contemporaries normally only seen at airports, or events, now brought
together under a completely different set of circumstances, allowing for a
purposeful connection in a time of disconnect. The focus of the project is
built on a powerful mutual participation, remotely constructed over time and
fully intended for holding court on peak time dance floors when they
inevitably return. That time has now finally come. The Louder Than Chaos

after the undertaker in Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood, Evans the Death
comprise of Dan Moss (guitar, vocals), Katherine Whitaker (vocals, keys),
Olly Moss (guitar), Rob Mitson (drums) and Lan McCardle (bass). Attuned as
much to the lyrical dexterity of Morrissey, Lawrence Felt, Edwyn Collins, and
Jarvis Cocker, as to the scuzzed up melodic exuberance of early My Bloody
Valentine, Pavement, The Pixies, and the I Am Kurious Oranj era of The Fall,
the band effortlessly blend precocious musical literacy with the kind of
unerring self-awareness which makes for a perfectly pitched pop sensibility.
Following the release of their instantly acclaimed debut single, the urgent
and unsettling latent-cold-war-paranoia love-song Threads, and the the
scathingly acerbic and the boldly fragile second single Im so Unclean, Evans
the Death have been given extensive airtime on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6Music, as
well being made John Kennedys Xposure Big One on XFM. The press have not been
slow to follow with glowing reviews in Artrocker, This Is Fake DIY, SoundsXP

the tradition of long strange trips across wide open spaces, the Colin L.
Orchestra arrived at the offices of Northern-Spy Records via Colin Langenus
previous project, USAISAMONSTER. Hes exchanged his previous duo for a
full-scale rock orchestra of his best buds on multiple guitars, drums,
violins, keyboards. Their first project, Infinite Ease/Good God, is
full-scale indeed, available as a double-CD or a deluxe fully re-mastered for
vinyl version of Infinite Ease with a digital download of Good God. Three
years setting schemes and arranging sleeping dreams have culminated in two
lush, flowing albums full of anthems and wee small moments. From the supple
bass line that opens, "You Need Sleep," to crunches of guitar shred
melting into velvet strings on their way to a country ditty that would do
Graham Parsons proud. Here is a double-pleasure that re-envisions the
"jam band" and, at the same time, "indie rock," meshing
together minimalistic repetitive jams, bright melodies, and loose, easy-going

of deconstruction and reappropriation, Walter Gross takes a no-rules approach
to freak-noise experimentation. His relentless output lead to an inevitable
collision with Small But Hard Recordings, and prompted his most epic work to
date, "Rotorcraft". The record refracts the grit of Baltimores
psych scene through the grotty underbelly LA, where Gross works isolated in a
claustrophobic sound lab tucked under the freeway. The record sets hip hop
destruction against demented grunge vocal in a furious and affronting mosaic
of work that is systematically re-constructed, broken down and reassembled.

Luther James Rabb played sax with Jimi Hendrix in the Velvetones and after
forming popular horns-based rock act Ballin' Jack, moved to Los Angeles,
where soul harmony trio West Coast Revival was born. Early singles for United
Artists were produced by Howard Scott and Lonnie Jordan of War, and their
sole LP, released in 1977, is an exceedingly rare soul-funk gem, with solid
vocal harmony, hard funk breaks, and a touch of sophisticated strings. y Mind
Is At Ease' is a breakbeat special and 'Feelin' Allright' rides a meaty bass
groove, both underlining the War connection: our edition comes with bonus
love song 'Beautiful Girl,' an early single B-side. Overall, this is prime

The
next official reissue is an off the wall Dub album from Ambient Warrior
originally released in 1995 on the Lion Inc label. The album is rooted in Dub
but has a much broader scope taking in various musical influences from across
the globe. Founder Ronnie Lion explains the concept “The Ambient Warrior was
created as an outlet for myself and Andreas Terrano. At the time I was
running Lion Music in Brixton, a popular mainly vocal roots label, and
Andreas was teaching engineering at our studio. I soon realised he was a very
talented guitar and piano player (Basement Jaxx also thought so and he worked
with them around this time) and like myself we both wanted to create music
that reflected our diverse influences. Andreas is of Italian, Armenian and
Russian heritage and these musical influences clearly come through on the LP;
over a Dub and Reggae backdrop you’ll hear a Tango and Bossa Nova style. The
players on the album also come from different nationalities and genres, not
just from the reggae scene, so this really created something authentic and
unique”. The LP has been fully remastered from the original DAT tape with new

After
the unbridled success of her eponymous debut album, and the subsequent
relentless touring schedule that took her to all corners of the earth, Nina
Kraviz has finally found the time to get back in the studio and has bestowed
another gift of musical material to the Rekids catalogue. ‘Mr Jones’ is a
neat, 6-track package featuring Nina’s first original output since her 2012
LP, which has since been pulled apart, re-imagined and remixed by the likes
of Steve Rachmad, KiNK, Marcellus Pittman, Fred P, DVS1, DJ Qu and Radio
Slave to name but a few. Now it’s Nina’s turn to get back behind the mixing
desk, and fans of her slightly lesser-known B-side ‘Tanya’ will be pleased to
hear the release kick off with ‘Desire’ – as Nina’s seductive voice surges in
and out over a hypnotically dissonant groove with slightly menacing
undertones, much like her aforementioned track. On title track ‘Mr Jones’
Nina’s voice is very much the star of the show – musing on the mysterious man
himself, while a constant ‘oom-pah’ backbeat props up ticks and whirling
textures generated by Nina’s own vocal chords. Detroit’s Luke Hess joins the
fold on ‘Remember’, and certainly brings the flavour of his hometown, as the
track builds in intensity with battering ram percussion and siren-like bleeps
that are sure to land this one straight in Jeff Mills’ record bag. Next up,
it’s back to House on the spicy ‘Black White’, where enchanted melodic
cross-rhythms filter in and out through an Afro-Caribbean bounce, while Nina
chants and calls over the top. ‘So Wrong’ is a more solemn affair,
reminiscent of the more melancholic yet danceable tracks from her much lauded
album, and ‘Sheer’ ends the release much like it starts, unnerving whistles
and warbling textures combine to disorienting effect over a steady kick drum
pulse |

The EP actually came about when Volte-Face heard 'Undertow' on one of Archivist's
mixes, enquired where the track could be purchased, only to find that it was
a one-off collaboration with no plans for a release. The idea for an EP was

us with a rhythmic and hypnotic three-parter. They invite the inimitable
Rebolledo to take on remix duties to complete this package. The EP is a
trance-inducing affair. The trio lure us in with opener Kolo Kolo. Its funky
rhythm sets a precedent as its trance-inducing power builds layer upon layer
into an intoxicating and hypnotic groove. Abbassa is up next. Heavy on the

touch before the track tumbles into a crescendo of urgent synths. Rebolledo’s

Italian
producer Piero Pirupa's musical CV is nothing short of impressive. So it's no
surprise that his next production has found a home on Damian Lazarus'
Crosstown Rebels, enlisting the vocal talents of New York's Mr.V.Influenced
by the sounds of 80s and 90s Chicago, Pirupa worked tirelessly on this EP to

message from a bygone era. It harks back to the golden age of house music

Dark
Shades Of Moscow' EP is a new thriller by Kovyazin D. The track list is
headed by a remix of the French hero of electroclash and EBM music - David
Carretta. As Dima describes, this release is dedicated to work in solitude,
analog synthesizers, secrets and the secret places in Moscow, as well as the
utopianism and psychedelicity of everything going on in the world today. Many
years of meticulously studying different genres of electronic music, from
acid house, electro and new beat to Birmingham techno, industrial and
Rotterdam hardcore, have allowed Kovyazin D to form his own unique sound,
that you can witness in his live shows and DJ sets. According to the Inverted
Audio publication Kovyazin D's music is so universal it can be easily heard
in the culmination points of Helena Hauff and Nicolas Lutz sets. His bangers
'Close The Distance' and 'Tales From The Bottle' are a clear example of that |

Music is back full-on force after almost a year hiatus with his biggest
release to date. No one other than Cadenza co-founder Quenum lands on the
label with 'Bolero Soul' EP, bringing into play extraordinary studio wizards
DeWalta and Cristi Cons, who are entrusted on the remix duties.
Title
cut 'Bolero Soul' opens proceedings in a percussive-trippy fashion as tight
drums meet gloomy analogue low hefty rumbles. Over its 14 minutes ride, the
track constantly moves by offering tribal-chants, sinister atmospheres and
pressing shakers in a swirl of madness.
On the flip, Meander head
honcho DeWalta welcomes us into his realm made of poignant synths and
evocative, almost ancestral, vocal-pads. The grim mood of the original is
still present, with the inward-looking motion translated by a descent,
relentless breakbeat groove. The entitled 'Mystic Full Moon' is yet another
minimal-tunnel piece with Quenum able to make another brilliant use of
hypnotic percussions and twisted sounds both free to move over edgy kicks and
a lean, crisp groove. Rounding off the package, Romanian maestro Cristi Cons
delivers two different versions. On the first one, delicate mystic synths
lead the listener to a mesmerizing break before swingy drums and a bouncy
bassline bring back up the track, whilst on the Sunrise mix, which is
>>VINYL ONLY<<, gritty low-end frequencies and delicate rhythmic
toms are mixed together with futuristic arps and synths, making of this one
the next after-hours anthem |

Haokah,
one of the most intriguing names hailing from the wonderful Romanian minimal
scene, are the authors of the 11th installment of Vivus Records. The duo is
very well known in the local scene for their mesmerizing live sets and Vivus
is proud to host them for this electrifying release. The start of the EP is
engaging to say the list. The first track, Engage, sets off rather calm but
steadily increases. That crescendo serves perfectly to prepare the listener
for the second track here, Between The Lines. The bass hits you hard from the
beginning while the perfect storm of background noises, coupled with a
recurring but discreet vocal takes things to another level. The third track
has the EP’s name, 144, and for good reason. It is the most introspective
affair yet, but it also has that pulsating bass that will keep you constantly
wanting more. You can almost see the sunrise at a beach afterparty somewhere
at the seaside with 144 in the background. Finally, on Ever Lasting, we have
lift off. In this spacey affair, full of cosmic noises, it feels as if
something magical is around the corner: the acid touch does wonders, the
eclectic background noises blend in perfectly and the 144 spaceship has truly
taken off |
