Records presents their first release from Micronica Limited vinyl-only
series, which features four carefully selected tracks perfectly fitting the

produced by an Ukranian artist Silat Beksi, who has proven himself to be one
of the top producers in the scene, known for his unique combination of rhythm

Machine", is by a Miami-based Venezuelian, Lulla, a straight-forward
twisted minimal sound with its hypnotic vocal stabs and percussions, perfect

- Slam collaborate with Hector Oaks, 999999999, Keith Tucker (AKA Optic
Nerve), Amelie Lens, Rebekah, AnD & Perc, for a new five part Soma
Records project LOUDER THAN CHAOS. On March 2020 the world was abruptly
thrown into collective disarray. The Pandemic stopped almost everything dead
in its tracks. No social gatherings, self isolation, a sense of panic and
bewilderment prevailed. An industry that had become so dependent on human
connection and unity, was suddenly switched off and put on pause for an
unforeseeable future. It was in this climate that The Louder Than Chaos
project was born, facilitated by Soma Records head honchos and techno
protagonists Slam. A collaborative project with friends, colleagues and
contemporaries normally only seen at airports, or events, now brought
together under a completely different set of circumstances, allowing for a
purposeful connection in a time of disconnect. The focus of the project is
built on a powerful mutual participation, remotely constructed over time and
fully intended for holding court on peak time dance floors when they
inevitably return. That time has now finally come. The Louder Than Chaos
project is a series of 5 releases, on 12 vinyl" & Digital, to be
released monthly via Soma Records. Featuring collaborations between Slam

boogie. Recorded in London, with Nigerian super producer, Jake Sollo, at the

Bristol Punk Pioneers DISORDER
formed around 1980, during the second wave of UK punk rock. Their approach to
DIY ethics was so deep that they decided not to sign to Riot City, but to
create a label of their own, for a bunch of classic singles the average
distortion level of which led BBC DJ John Peel to describe Disorder as
sounding like 'shit'. In fact, unlike many contemporaries like Crass or
Conflict, Disorder showed no ambitions in stylistic experimentation: their

York's Straw Man Army return with -SOS-, the follow-up to their 2020 debut
LP, 'Age of Exile'. Emerging from the D4MT Labs group that also includes
Kaleidoscope and Tower 7, Straw Man Army's delicate musical touch, embrace of
melody, and rapid/fire, clearly articulated vocals separate them from the
louder and noisier end of New York's fertile punk scene. While 'Age of Exile'
examined the legacy of colonialism through the musical milieu of melodic

Mark
Barrott and Pete Gooding present the fourth volume in their series of stellar
collections, showcasing the sunset sounds spun at Ibiza`s Hostal La Torre.
Sets, sequences, of music designed to celebrate the passing of another day
and welcome the pleasures of night, as the Sun makes way for Sister Moon. On
this occasion, the ceremony starts with a gift from the Golden Girls - a side
project of Phil Hartnoll, of Orbital fame. In its original form Kinetic was a
prime piece of pumping early `90s trance, here, however, it`s been remixed by
David Morley into something far more in line with Belgian rave label R&S`
ambient off-shoot, Apollo. Practically beatless, but boasting a big,
undulating, bottom-end, it now resembles something from Tangerine Dream`s
back catalogue. A slightly kosmische, serene wall of sonically shining sound.
The room-shaking riffs are reduced to echoes, while pitter-pattering
percussion races. When the familiar hook finally surfaces, it`s accompanied
by spirit-stirring, symphonic strings - inducing fierce flashbacks to quality
highs, and newly expanded minds and horizons. Man, I can remember the wonder,
before it all went pear-shaped. Next up are NO ZU, a sadly seemingly defunct
8-membered musical monster from Melbourne, Australia, who were absolutely
amazing live. Banging out a percussive concoction that they called Heat Beat,
their funk was / is most definitely post-punk - channelling `80s no wave New
York, the Mudd Club, and in particular the band, Liquid Liquid. Slapping basses,
car horns, electronic keys, buttons, cowbells, and anything else that came to
hand and seemed to fit, while lifting beats and piano parts from Chicago
house. The party-starting call and response repartee of Ui Yia UIa finds them
shouting out their star signs of criss-crossing compatibility over a muscular
slo-mo stomp. Daphne Camf Rest In Peace. Bassekou Kouyate is a Malian maestro
on the 6-stringed ngoni. A goat-skin covered "hunters harp", that
via slave traders evolved into the North American banjo. With his group,
named after this traditional griot instrument, and Zoumana Tereta on lead
vocals, he delivers a dizzying display of dexterity on Bala. Generating a
super mellow, spiritual groove, his playing countered by equal virtuosity on
balafon and bolon. The voices switching between the sweet and the raw, and
the song showering you in savannah sunshine, no matter where you happen to be
hanging |

second VA to celebrate ten glorious years since its founding in 2012. After
many release featuring the likes of Amelie Lens, FJAAK, Boston 168 and Regal
himself, the label now welcomes uprising stars Fractions and legends David
Moleon, DJ Ogi and The Geezer. First in line is Czech techno duo Fractions
with Angel Lust, a stomping rave anthem for big stages, reflecting the sound
they're known for from releases on labels such as Monnom Black and
Possession. David Moleon is up next with Hold On, a groovy and rumbling
techno cut with housy elements and chopped vocals creeping in between heavy
kicks. DJ Ogi follows with Akturianac, an aggressive belter with rolling
drums, sounding like it's coming straight from the early 2000's. Stay Up

We welcome back Stockholm house
stalwart Viggo Dyst for his second contribution to our Classic Cuts series:
an uplifting cut of five melodic tracks, including a remix from SNF mainstay,
Earth Trax. Tech-house banger 'These Knits' kicks off proceedings, with
cosmic undertones that imbue it with a sense of buoyancy and playfulness. On
the flip, Earth Trax teases out the track's cooler elements, introducing a
more definitive pulse and replacing the melody's warmth with a greater sense
of unease: catch this one reverberating around a cavernous warehouse.
'Promises' maintains the driving propulsion, introducing an acid melody which
lends it anthemic grandeur before the sultry whisper of cymbals and female
vocals on the modest deep house track 'CAT' strip things right back. Finally,
the ambient closer 'Bubble Wrap' pays testament to Viggo Dyst's musical
ambidexterity and his capacity for creating atmosphere with a full-bodied

Tom Frankel returns to Shall Not
Fade with four weighty house cuts. The London DJ, producer, label manager and
one half of TIN family duo Frankel and Harper released "Milestone"
EP back in April last year: a skippy house cut with a strong nostalgia for
early '90s raves. One year on, "Pingers in a field" sees Frankel
focus on bubbly melodies and rich textures. "Pursuit" is a
polyphonic Italo-leaning house banger driven by sumptuous claps, whilst
"Virtual Reality's" anthemic melody and acid textures steer more
towards progressive trance. "Commodore" follows suit, adding in
layers of cosmic ambience that floats blissfully above an assertive tech

Records - the official label arm of Dutch festival giant DGTL - marks its
fifth anniversary in style with brand new album ‘5YRS of DGTL Records’. The
14-track long player is released on April 29th as a 4x 12” vinyl set and
drops digitally across 4 separate EP releases between February 18 and April
1. 5YRS of DGTL Records is a perfect reflection of not just of the label
itself but also its global event patron: headliners sitting equally alongside
local talent and up-and-coming acts.. Holding a great variety of
forward-thinking house and techno, the label stays true to the same formula
of the festival shows. Over the past five years, DGTL Records has grown into
its own as a fully-fledged musical arm of the overall DGTL musical
experience, introducing new sounds and acts to an international audience. For
promising Dutch DJ/producers Coloray, Tjade, Nicky Elisabeth and Lucky Done
Gone, this will be their first release on DGTL Records, while the likes of
Deniro and JP Enfant are already familiar names to label fans, having
previously released EPs on the label. All are linked to promising rising
international talent such as Jimi Jules, Kino Todo and Terr and to DGTL
'veterans' such as Adriatique, Dax J, Roman Flugel and Frank Wiedemann &

Records are hugely excited to announce the forthcoming release of Ghetto
Priest’s ‘Big People Music’ LP, the long awaited follow up to his 2017 album,
‘Every Man For Every Man’. The idea for this LP was originally floated in
2018 and was intended to be a 6 track EP called ‘Songs for my father’.
However, once Ghetto Priest got in the studio, the idea expanded as he went
the extra mile adding his personal favourites, conjured up from childhood
memories of his father’s tunes being played on the family radiogram with
additions from his youthful excursions. A magical mixture of tracks
associated with the greats – Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Slim Smith, Ken
Boothe, Aaron Neville – ‘Big People Music’ can lay claim to being the 21st
century’s equivalent of John Holt’s ‘1,000 Volts of Holt’ – an absolute
essential on every Blaupunkt radiogram on a Sunday and a blues party staple.
The combination of standards and righteous releases were mixed down by the
Bishop of Dub, Adrian Sherwood who blessed the project with the title ‘Big
People Music’, a powerful acknowledgement to those tunes which filled many a
Caribbean household with immeasurable sentiments that echoed down through

Records starts 2013 launching Nuevo Dia EP, second release of the label from
Barcelona. In this occasion the reference is signed by the Catalan duo Aster,
which counts with high quality remixers such as Benjamin Damage and Dexter.
Nuevo Dia, the homonymous topic that starts and gives name to this second
reference Struments Records, backs seven minutes in which multiple and varied
melodies of different natures mix up with rhythmic patterns coming from a
dynamic bass and evoking feminine vocal samples. A cut treated with strong
dynamism in which the allusion of movement is constant. In Placido Domingo an
acid bass line goes along the minutes transforming into the main character.
The theme goes on for five minutes at a slower pace responding to the
classical patterns of acid-house, introducing initially percussive rhythms,
followed by dynamic involving notes and ending with a fantastic melodic
take-off. The remix brought by Dexter increases and decreases during seven
minutes, converting the original melody into an easily adapting scale to the
first hours of the night. Using vocal samples it gives a surrounding
perspective and introduces a powerful bass perfectly suitable for this newer
clubber version of Nuevo Dia. Benjamin Damage bends Nuevo Dia with
frequencies and filters, darkening brief melodic spaces to introduce a
powerful and raw drum which reveals a postindustrial background through the
late hours of the night. The monotonic rhythms of this reconstruction include
in itself a progression of a surrounding physical and mental dance |

Records opens 2014 presenting "Fire to the Empire", third record in
12" format from this Barcelona label. Following the special dedication
referred to the local talent shown by the label in its two previous releases,
in this occasion the reference is signed by Clip!, relevant artist in the
Spanish electronic scene that, after a versatile and prolific 2013, shows in
this publication a new coordinate of their chameleonic sound. Thereby opening
the door to more visceral coordinates, opaque and less intense dance that
exudes less kindness and infects the club atmosphere with light and dark. The
set, consisting of three original songs (Fire, Ash and Bitch), and a remix of
"Ash" by the British artist Kommune1, discovers on side A two
descriptive and powerful snapshots of translucent clubber atmosphere, winding
and unfiltered. Proper of the dance hours closer to twilight in the shadows
and lights mergers into sensations. While on the B side, the artists pays
tribute to the most evasive and escapist concept that music can evoke, forged
between the rage of techno and the subtlety of house, when instinct takes
control over any convention and presents itself as a purely physical
experience between the listener and the sound. Closing the total minutes of
the reference, Kommune1 prints cosmic and expansive notes to "Ash",
as well as he brightens the original version. "Fire", the central
tune that starts and gives name to this third reference of Struments Records
responds to six minutes that shapes a direct and powerful presentation
letter. In which you can acknowledge progressive melodic phases and raw
vocals that serve as a growing force of initial contact. "Ash"
continues the incursion between hard and chiaroscuro dynamic, printing analog
rhythm coordinations. "Bitch" represents the exact balance and
highlight of "Fire Your Empire" EP, sobriety in enviromental
nuances, vocal flare and power high-flying shape a depth completely
orientated to the dance floor that condenses much intention in a speech
coherently aligned with the sound. Kommune1 sets "Ash" with an eye
towards fantasy and space, using resources in the original maximalist
melodies and rhythmic accelerating phases provide the remix to get faster |

The free will of Struments has
led them to concentrate in one 12inch the encyclopedic knowledge of Marc
Pinol, a duo of kids that present themselves as T.A.L., and the responsible
for all that, Spastor, that appears in a remix signed by Florian Kupfer. Lliure

includes a Bandcamp download code for the digital files. Short bio from
Betonkust: I was born in Utrecht (1988). I grew up in a very small town
somewhere between Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Hilversum. The so-called 'green
heart' of the Netherlands. That means there's lots of nature. It was very
boring and/or normal. A typical Dutch 1990s upbringing. I've been listening
to house music for as long as I can remember. On cassette tapes, on the
radio, it was everywhere. Now I live in Rotterdam and there's a lot going on,
mainly in the area of electronic music. There is Operator Radio, Clone,
Pinkman, etc. Most of my friends are involved in music in some way. The older
I get the less I care about gear. I didn't use any expensive or exotic stuff.
Korg Electribes (both the sampler and the synth), Korg M1, some Boss effects
pedals, a cheap mixer, a Shure SM57 mic, a cheap guitar. For this album
everything was recorded in FL Studio. Some tracks on the album started like
five years ago with a melody and slowly developed into a full song. Other
songs were made one month before mastering. It really depends. But most of
the work was done in 2020 and 2021. I think most of this album is about
transience, giving up, the infinite sadness of humanity |

Jazz
fusion, Brussels-based L?p?GangGang, are set to release new EP 'Urban Detox'
on the 1st July via the groove-obsessed Sdban Ultra label. With influences
including Kamaal Williams, Roy Ayers, The Breathing Effect, STUFF. and Black
Midi, their sound is rich in texture and depth with an underlying, undeniable
groove throughout. L?p?GangGang initially started out as jazz/funk cover band
in 2017. Anton, Miel, Lena and Rob all met at a jam session summer camp while
still at school. Over time, the band evolved into writing their own songs and
released their debut EP 'Stalingrad' in 2020 to critical acclaim in Belgium.
The EP was a musical search for the 'middle ground' between these four
divergent young musicians. Due to the band's desire for creative expansion
over genres, they have been able to perform on various Belgian stages for the
past three years including Ancienne Belgique to Flagey, Gent Jazz and
Handelsbeurs in support of label mates, Black Flower. Opening with 'galet',
heavy percussion and afrobeat-like influences collide, resulting in a warm,
upbeat urban groove, while the sun-dappled 'Yesterday Didn't Matter' conveys
that gloomy feeling you experience after a long period of isolation and the
long road back. Let go of the past and its problems. Elsewhere, the deeply
soulful sounds of 'Woods Near Athens' is a reference to Shakespeare's 'A
Midsummer Night's Dream' and to the imagination and fantasy we have as a
child and gradually lose when growing up without realizing it, before closing
track 'kienda', is an explosive cosmic trip and features emerging French
saxophonist Yonatan Hes. L?p?GangGang are currently in the studio putting the
finishing touches to their debut album, set for release in 2023 |

Paris-based
producer and CEO of emotional breakbeat Adam BFD joins the Shall Not Fade
family with six emotive tracks, all driven by cinematic ambience. The past
two years have been non-stop for Adam BFD. This release represents his fourth
full-length EP of the year, with previous ones finding a home on Lobster
Theremin. He's proven himself as a true storyteller, creating music which
through melody reveals at once a level of introspection and an outward-facing
expression of emotion that will resonate with almost any listener.
Innervisions is no different, constituting what might be his most candid
record yet. Made over the course of lockdown, Adam's contemplative mood
shines through on the record's A-side. The first two tracks capture breaks at
their most meditative potential with a lofi quality and a long, pad-driven
interlude ("I've Been Waiting") and assertive kickdrums that punch
beneath a wistful melody ("Sonar"). "What's Next" is the
EP's only ambient track which cruises along pulseless via a metallic earworm
melody that glistens on an iridescent surface. With reverberating claps, a
warm bassline and subaquatic synths, the title track opens a door to hope: a
sentiment which will stick around on the record's B-side, as is demonstrated
by "M1 & 1". Although, it is left up to the listener whether
this melody speaks more to feelings of ease of melancholy. On the closing
track "In My Feels", however, there is nothing left to debate. An

resident Ruff Stuff, Black Loops (Ricardo Paffetti) brings Shall Not Fade a
third EP of rolling, danceable house of the highest calibre. Paffetti has
built a reputation as a creative, high-class producer and does not disappoint
on "Circulation EP" - the Shall Not Fade regular makes tribute to
classic Italian house while adding a futuristic, unique spin. The 5-tracker
opens with "Mike The Dog". It's a crazy electro-garage hybrid that
foregrounds frenetic drum loops, while soft lofi chords give way to a
disco-like bassline, starting the record off lightheartedly. Title track
"Circulation" hits with a syncopated kick and dubbed out vocals
that swirl in your head, contrasting a smooth, darker sound design made for
sunset dancing. Paffetti perfects a meticulous sound palette across the
B-side. From "Banana 20", a pacey track lead by its squelching
bassline, to "Dream2gether" - gliding lead synth, trading
spotlights with the echoed vocal - these are love songs for the dancefloor.

the heels of two EP releases on Bristol label Shall Not Fade, Felipe Gordon
is preparing for the release of his debut album on the important UK imprint.
With human contact at an absolute minimum, it's refreshing to hear an
electronic music record that ventures away from the machine in favour of the
organic. Gordon's ability to blend complex jazz instrumentation with
acid-licked basslines, golden-age house aesthetics and the cultural sounds of
South America is unrivalled; creating distinctive, beautiful and exciting
house records from his home in the Colombian capital of Bogota. "A
Landscape Onomatopeya" was crafted through the concept of a painting;
exploring shades, changes of tone, use of light. "I found myself making
tons of music and wondering how to start an album process", he says,
"something with more concept; a long journey between all the different
musical influences in my head. I wanted to try to accomplish something with
soul, deepness and an inherent melancholia to it. More organic, more
human." The record - which includes the Spanish word Onomatopeya as a
Colombian statement and ode to the Latin American house scene - kicks off
with the early evening funk of "How Do You Spell That", the
distinct sugar cane sweetness of Guaro hanging in the late sunlight.
"Wes" ventures into hip hop territory; dusty boom baps, 90's
scratching and live guitar provoking a vibe that lies somewhere between Dilla
and fellow Colombian AvenRec before the A-side reaches its climax with a cut
of Gil Scott-Heron-esque funk on "She Will Come". The B-side raises
its curtain and with it comes two cuts of sublime house, each more colourful
than the last. "The Colombian Excursions of House Music" does
exactly what is says on the tin; fusing South American drum patterns with the
creative innovation of live jazz to create a dimly lit, Latin American
energy. "Momma, It's A Long Journey" maintains a more progressive
vibe as it meanders through subtle acid stabs, radiant atmospherics and an
oxymoronic blend of mournful, hopeful vocals. Tape throbs and breakbeats make
up the C-side as we delve deeper into Gordon's sound palette: think The
Cyclist and Kaytranada, but with an Ibero-American vibe. "Howl"
meanders slowly through the smoke-filled booths of a jazz cafe whilst the
sounds of Detroit and Chicago shatter and break ("Away", "Das
Nuyorican Vibes") over the crowd below on, before "Brazil"
invites you outside for a post-dance cigarette with itsdowntempo boom-bap and
mellow energy. The record comes to its end with three D-side cuts that
perfectly encapsulate its artistic vision. "Like the album itself, the
artwork process was all about texture and analog treatment", he says.
"We used old pentax cameras with black and white ilford rolls to achieve
an intimate feeling. I found that my mind was drawn to a landscape with a
house deep inside the Bogota mountains; where I hang all the time with my
girlfriend and friends. It's a quiet, emotional place. Far from the
city." Wiggling basslines, vibrant shimmers and bold jazz instrumentals
bring a fitting end to a truly beautiful record, and further cements Shall
Not Fade's reputation as a label with its finger on the pulse of exciting
dance music |

Junkies' is the seventh studio album by GG Allin and featuring ANTiSEEN as
band. This is GG Allin's final studio album to be released during his
lifetime. Jeff Clayton, lead singer of ANTiSEEN, has described this album as
a mixed blessing. Although he is very happy with the way it turned out, he
thinks that a lot of people got the impression that they are nothing more
than a backing band for GG Allin. Clayton has stated that GG Allin was very
professional during the recording of the album, and he wonders how much of GG
Allin's stage act was real and how much of it was "For The Marks".
Now this album is being released for the first time as it was originally
