We
know it. You know it. Alignment is here to stay. Delivering the next round of
high quality tracks on vinyl for VN043, his "Orderly Chaos" EP
mirrors our suspicious times like nothing else but techno can. With its main
title "Orderly Chaos" consisting of well balanced leads chasing a
never ending drum programming, the consistent kick drum does what its used to
do: thumping your already vibrating stomach. An early classic already, with a
reasoned arrangement attached. We're about to enter quicker territories on A2
by the name of "Future Dancefloor". Clearly focused on satisfying
the biggest sound systems around, once possible again. For the time being, a
forward moving rhythm infiltrates small vocal hits on this one, piercing the
perfect state of rave. "Into The Unknown" follows this mantra
perfectly. Detailed synth placements evolve a steadily riding hi-hat shuffle,
incorporating the flowing drumming which comes with it. On top of it,
energising pad lines do their thing in catching us during a perfect
breakdown. Second b-side flip is "Dark Space", with the name saying
it all. A distinctively darker sound atmosphere is paired with modulated
patterns, systematically pushing the groove underneath. It's a next stage of
production class, with harmonic elements driving one's imagination further. A

via NYC producer Xiorro follows up his killer release on Brooklyn based label
Sorry Records with four slabs of ravey industrial concrete on 1O PILLS MATE.
Co-founding ALKHEMY - a collective whose genesis is dedicated to spreading
diversity within techno and making space for marginalised, people of colour
and women to play - their The Black Hole parties have helped to re-shape the
NYC soundscape. Xiorro's moniker is a reference to his Puerto Rican heritage
and to African revolutionary Marcus Xiorro. Touted as one to watch by DJ Mag
and Magnetic Mag, he has played Tresor;s New Faces and Berlin party Staub,
co-hosting nights with Discwoman and ARTS on both sides of the atlantic.
'Zemi Of A Riot' begins with a surprisingly familiar sample before diving
straight into a bass-driven, unrelenting groove. An instant curve-ball
designed to delight and startle, it's an off-road space jam hurtling through
a multi-verse of dark clubs and asteroid fields. 'Pa' Que Brinquen' turns the
space rocks to goo with its frantic, melting analog patterns and hardcore
aeshetic, striking a perfect balance between otherworldly and organic. 'Tooth
and Nail' is an evocative cut of heads-down energy; a total surrender to the
mundane that exists outside the walls of right now, hypnotic, groove-focused
techno that's as bassy as it is heavy. Belgium based French producer Julian
Muller caps the release off with a punchy remix of 'Pa' Que Brinquen',
pushing the tempo slightly higher with a piece of trance-licked techno |

Different dons his Terraform alias as he begins his journey in 'Entering The
Void' on CYBERDOME; exploring phat electro bass-lines and party-starting
ghettotech energy with its crosshairs fixated firmly on the club environment.
Born and raised in the culturally rich city of Malmo, the Swedish producer
has previously released on London based label Deeply Cultured, Distant
Hawaii, Mood Of Era, 1O PILLS MATE and Traxx Underground, spanning
atmospheric techno, ethereal breakbeat and chunky electro. 'Ultrasonic' is an
ear-wriggling cut of stripped-back psychedelia. As David Holmes would say,
all the best electronic music tracks are made up of only a few components.
Here, typical electro synth stabs, robotic vocal sampling and sparse
precision allows the track room to breathe, whilst maintaining a deep and
funkdriven groove. 'Ghettotech' sounds how you would expect it to; pounding
kicks, frantic atmospherics and lairy screw-face hype combine on a certified
fire-starter, before 'Exiting The Void' introduces itself on a footwork vibe
that evolves into a sequence of interstellardungeon dub-electro. 'The Rise of
the Slavs' takes its inspiration from the diverse group of tribes who lived
in Central and Eastern Europe in the 6th to 10th centuries, establishing the
foundations for the Slavic nations; it's marching rhythm beaming historical
context into 21st Century dance music |

The Slightly Involved project is
a collaboration between Amy Dabbs & Coco Bryce, in which they bring their
own styles and techniques to tracks the other artist has recently released.
In this first instalment, using tracks released solely via Lobster Theremin
and its sub-labels, Amy Dabbs' Girl Like Me and Allure get the full Coco
Bryce treatment, and Amy Dabbs takes on Coco's Twenty One Lies and Ma Bae Be
Luv. Coco, renowned for incorporating elaborately edited layers of breaks

Originally
from Normandy now residing in the country's capital, French DJ and producer
Adam Boufeldja (aka Adam BFD) has been making a serious name for himself,
having put out a string of self-released singles and curating his own
self-titled Youtube channel. Adam's tracks have always been vivid, detailed
portraits; drawing from memories and influences from around the world, and
his latest EP on Running Out Of Steam is no exception; using his eclectic
tastes to produce a record truly unique, and brimming with personality. 'I'll
be walking' meanders through an always evolving city, creating space and
sense of an otherwise chaotic and fleeting world. The track's softly spoken
synths hold the torch, while the effortless drums walk us home. 'Call A Taxi'
follows suit, a fruitful marriage between shuffling drum patterns and
hypnotic tones, while the track's subtle low-end provides the glue; closing
off an A side that feels more like a story being told than another
dance-floor memento. Title track 'No Advice' launches the B side on a
slightly more ominous tone, in a microcosmic portrait of opposing forces;
before 'An Ode To La Condesa' glides through like a letter from an old
friend, the smell of fresh ink still prevalent on the page as we're whisked
away through the wide-tree lined avenues of La Condesa. The EP comes to a
close with 'For The Good Times' combining nostalgic tinged leads,
forward-marching drums and sprawling pads that act as a backdrop to another
highly impressive EP from one of France's best emerging artists |

The
girls in BLUAI name their debut EP 'a collection of six songs that form an
emotional, yet hopeful wrecking yard'. The girl band's first effort is an
unconstrained and playful piece of work that crystallized in their glorious
but furious first months of existence as a band. Yet their debut is also the
end of a chapter. Where the songs on Junkyard were still written by Catherine
alone, the band is now writing and arranging new material together. In that
respect, Junkyard is also a first taste of what is yet to come. BLUAI is a
4-piece girl band based in Antwerp. What started as Catherine Smet's intimate
bedroom project (voice, guitar), quickly evolved into a full-fledged band
with Caitlin Talbut on bass and Mo Govaerts on drums. Guitarist Amina Parago
replaced Ilayda Cicek (ILA) after the EP recordings. Despite their different
backgrounds and styles, the four made a connection right away, on and off
stage. They're having the time of their lives while still challenging each
other to experiment. The foursome won Belgium's three major music contests
Humo's Rock Rally, Sound Track and De Nieuwe Lichting (from Studio Brussel)
in a few months' time earlier this year, and has been playing countless club
and festival shows ever since. BLUAI even made it to a billboard in Times
Square as ambassadors for Spotify's Equal campaign for more women in music.
It had always been Catherine's dream to form a band made up of women only.
Not only because women are so poorly represented in the music landscape, but
also because she knows there is nothing better than making music among women.
"The idea that BLUAI can inspire other girls and women to learn to play
an instrument, make music and get on stage makes this band proud." The
sound of Junkyard originates from the need to keep things simple and to
translate an authentic live sound into a recorded EP. The songs float between
soft indie folk and edgy 90s guitars. They are drenched in hopeful melancholy
from broken hearts, road trips to break-ups and casual crushes. Influences

Our favorite release, that we
didn't release ourselves, of 2017 is undoubtedly the 12" debut of
Amsterdam's SAVAGE BEAT! Immediately taking the scene by storm with their
blistering mix of Oi!, '77 punk and pub rock, "TRENCH WARFARE" was
an instant force to reckon with and wound up on numerous of yearlists and for
good reasons! Ok ok, we already had the honors to release the CD-version of

Three
more iconic Parallel 9 dub-techno classics from the Steve Rachmad archives
re-issued on the Delsin Sterac series. Originally released in 1996 on Prime,
now re-mastered. Track order is shuffled a bit, as it turned out the full 10
minutes version of Quanah was shortened in 1996. It was through the
preparation of this re-issue Steve found out now 25 years later they had
shortened the track by four minutes back then for some reason. Steve
Rachmad's richly melodic strain of techno has resulted in a huge body of work
he has been growing since the early 90s. His sound is the perfect
distillation of machine soul - dubby atmospherics and crisp, danceable
dynamics balanced in perfect unison. Amsterdam's Delsin Records gathers
together some of the Dutch techno figurehead's most important, sought-after
works in a new EP series, all remastered from the original DAT tapes from
Steve's archives. Adding to the weight of this series, the accompanying
artwork is being created by Boris Tellegen, aka legendary graffiti artist
Delta who first began designing sleeves with Secret Life Of Machines. Since

with a snapshot of the Finnish scene: a collection of fast psychedelic techno
from Helsinki artist HOMI with a slow-burning remix from VC-118A. Recorded at
his studio space in Helsinki, HOMI's V?litila EP begins with three tracks of
percussive, acid-tinged techno, primed for peak time. The B-side features a
remix of the title track V?litila from Dutch-born and now Finland-based
VC-118A, delivering a winding, slow-burning counterweight to Homi's
dancefloor-oriented original. The digital edition includes a bonus fifth
track of quirky breakbeat techno from HOMI titled SmallBisnes. Inspired by

Second Skin is Spanish producers
Psyk and Oscar Mulero with their first release for James Ruskin's Blueprint.
These two prolific figures of the Techno scene will already be known to many.
Oscar Mulero has run his own label, Warm Up since 2000 and PoleGroup Records
since 2004, as well as releasing more recently on the likes of Token and
Semantica. Meanwhile, Psyk launched his Non Series imprint in 2011 and has
graced other labels including Mote-Evolver, Tresor, and Semantica (like
Oscar). Of course, both artists boast a heavy DJ schedule with sets across
the globe. Joining forces under the name Second Skin, they are resolute for
this next Blueprint release. The tracks range from the techno tribalism of

A
true love letter to house music, Larson presents his account of the
ubiquitous dance music genre diving deep into its origins. Connecting the
dots with some of the genre’s most beloved innovators such as Larry Heard,
Boo Williams, Ron Trent, Chez Damier or Chris Brann, the Belgian producer
pays tribute by adding his own emphases. Setting a bright mood, at times
aiming for the dance floor, at others comforting the listener into a casual
vibe, Larson is not seeking, but spontaneously drawing attention with his
graceful sounds, stripped to the bone and built on an intuitive factor.
Larson hails from Liège, the South Belgian city known for its meat balls and
the mighty river La Meuse, and works as a sound editor in movie production.
Recognised by those-who-know as one of the most quintessential figures of
Liège’s burgeoning underground nightlife scene, the time is now for Larson to
step forward. His 2x12” debut release dubbed ‘Interlace Joy Motions’ is one
for the house heads, shifting between 121 and 130 BPM and showcasing the
diverse sounds the producer has in store. Opening track Our Inner Sun has
smiles written all over. A simple yet effective piano loop, warm strings and
a delicately running acid baseline are all Larson needs to set the standard for
the beauty that is yet to come. Effortlessly entertaining for close to seven
minutes, here is the essence of timeless house music at work. Pushing up the
speed up to 129 BPM, A2 brings the brand new label’s title track, Larson’s
take on the many meanings the name may represent. Designed for jubilant dance
floor action, Hi Scores is punchy and elegant at the same time. On the flip
side, Slack Breeze is an eleven-minutes-long breezy electro trip paying
homage to Detroit music pioneer Juan Atkins and offers two mixes, nicely
manufactured as one auditive whole on the vinyl record with a useful visual
marker in between. Be aware of the slight tempo drop between the bold Club
mix and the more laid back Sensual mix. In a cultured and charming manner,
Lethal Dance opens the second 12”. Driven by a fab bassline and soft as silk
string arrangements, here is a slow burner for moments lost track of time.
High Jazz Travel on C2 continues this trip to lofty spaces, speeding up the
pace but holding on to Larson’s well crafted dream universe, with its mellow
aura almost turning into a debonair lullaby for grown-ups. Adding another
layer to the cake is Chris ‘Funk’ Ferreira, the C12 resident DJ and ½ Senga
Ferreira. Also active as the mixing engineer of this double 12”, on the D1
the Brussels based producer takes up the role as remixer with his stomping
and energy building ‘Magic Force’ version of Hi Scores, contributing the
single vocal sample to the EP. Things come to an end with Souvenir d’Enfance,
a playful and innocent conga driven house track, cherished as a safe and
sound childhood memory, forever in our hearts just as this excellent debut by
Larson |

As
the frontman of Bombataz, Brussels based guitarist Vitja Pauwels plays with
Naima Joris, Cram Ration, Lara Rosseel, Woolvs, Warm Bad, Mobilhome, An
Pierlé and Bony King of Nowhere. In between, he is carving out a solo career
for himself. After the previously released Day at Half Speed (2019), a live
recorded concert that later came out as a release, Vitja Pauwels will release
his first full album on November 4, 2022. Drift by / Sink in sounds like a
sound bath in which Vitja's guitars are the main focus. However, in terms of
approach, style and instrumentation, each song is very different. On the
album you can hear not only his familiar guitar, but also pedal steel guitar,
all kinds of resonator and 12-string guitars, an arsenal of effects, samplers,
synths, drum computers and all kinds of electronics. He also sings on three
of the eight songs. Vitja draws inspiration from different types of music
ranging from Americana to Latin American, singer songwriting to cinematic
Lynch. Stillness in music attracts him. Artists close to his heart are Daniel
Lanois, Marc Ribot, Mark Hollis, Thom Yorke, James Blake, Connan Mockasin,
... For recording, Vitja worked together with Koen Gisen at studio La Patrie
in Ghent. In Gisen's studio everything takes place in one room and that
ensures a natural acoustic blend. They carefully placed all sound sources in
the room so that Vitja's multi-layered music was expressed in relief.
Although it is Vitja's first studio album, it was not the first time the two
worked together. The Daniel Johnston tribute record by Naima Joris, her
upcoming own album (which will also be released on November 4th) as well as
Warm Bad were all recorded by Koen with Vitja. The two became good friends
and find each other in taste and an unbridled fascination for sound. Vitja
(pre-)presents his album in Flagey (24/9 double bill with Bill Frisell), AB
salon (29/9 double bill with Marisa Anderson) and in Kaap Brugge (30/9)
before it is actually released. On November 27, he will play solo during
BRAND! festival (where he presents six projects as a festival's central
guest) in kunstencentrum Nona (Mechelen) and on November 30 he plays in
double bill with Marc Ribot in Handelbeurs, Ghent. On December 1st Vitja will
play a concert together with guitar legend Marc Ribot (the day after their
shared double bill in Handelsbeurs Gent). Vitja received the opportunity to
set up a carte blanche project for BRAND! Festival. He put together a new
band and during the past six months he wrote a brand new repertoire that will
be performed in the Stadsschouwburg in Mechelen |

sees a new hat being thrown into the techno ring. The hat in question is the
label's first EP Anvil - a post-tech five-tracker, and the person throwing it
is Blasted - an Italian producer with a number of solid EPs to his name.
Having had previously shared release credits with him on a number of
occasions, Berlin's renowned noisemaker Unhuman fits into the picture as
well, being the one charged with remixing duties regarding the titular track.
Setting common tact aside for a moment, the opener showcases Blasted
indulging in esoteric inclinations by the means of concentrating on slick,
abrasive sound design, cutting the number of kicks in half and utilizing a
vocal sample to add a pinch of EBM into the mix. Unhuman's slowed-down rework
in turn evokes gears' incessant grind at the backdrop of steam pressurizers
going up and down in alteration, producing arrays of heavily plodding,
whamming kicks. Breaking free of esoterism and leftfield production. The EP
continues with Jawbreaker - a peak-time affair wherein the lows are ravaged
by constant sub-bass pressure and ruthlessly striking, syncopated kicks, laid
under the neatlysynthesized, impenetrable hats pertaining to Blasted's
signature sound. On Filthy Goat, the assault continues with a renewed
strength as anxious synths and panning hats gradually invade the scene
shortly before the devastating kicks storm down in a hail of obliterating
projectiles, creating a battlefield-evocative environment within this
decimating, explosive stomper. Lastly, demonic closer Belial bids its fair
digital-only-money's worth of adieu with magnificent ambiance interwoven
within the spectrum alongside meticulously arranged drumwork presented
through plethora of varied, carefully picked samples |

Kozlov
is an artist that doesn't need any presentations, and if by any chances it
does...well...shame on you for you've failed at recognising the cream of the
crop when it comes to Industrial Techno. Born near Paris in 1995, Florian
Kozlowski aka KOZLOV is a DJ and producer from France with Polish blood.
Passionated about electronic sounds of all kinds since his adolescence, it
did not took him long to adventure in the mixing world and thus promote his
attachment to music. He really discovered techno when he was 18 on a trip to
Croatia during a summer festival and literally fell in love with this world
completely different from what he knew. "When I was in Croatia I did not
expect to feel this feeling with people, the atmosphere of these parties and
what it releases!". His passion for music turned to TECHNO and at 22
"KOZLOV" was born, he decided to produce and share with the world
his tracks and his definition of Techno. Exploring the most abrasive side of
the genre, he released his hard-hitting productions on his own Bandcamp but
also on respected labels such as ARTS, NineTimesNine, Green Fetish Records,
Grounded, COUP and more. We are more than excited to welcome KOZLOV to the

One
of the most revered and respected artists to ascend in the immediate wake of
the Autonomic wave - Sam KDC's innate understanding of depth and emotive
layering has marked his path as one that leaves an indelible impression.
While his innovative adventures with Grey Area and the outer edges of Techno
continue unabated, a collaboration with like-minded artist Flaminia has drawn
Sam back to his original home in 170bpm. Flaminia is a versatile and
