dodsleie" (Masans deathbed) starts the EP following the last journey of
Masan, a character that everybody knows; the one guy in every group of
friends that just cant stop partying, the re-uper to re-up them all. Glitchy
percussion, freaky synthriffs, and a heart monitor guides him all the way to
the great beyond. Ethereal "Atlantic Potion" (made in collaboration
with Canadian Jamie Cox) closes the side out with its cold lushness. On the
other side the theme music from Final Fantasy 6 gets reharmonized and
redrummed in "Hommage a Uematsu", for some guaranteed nerd chills
to all you JRPG clubbers. Last track "TMA 4ever (Patas remix)"
turns Kim Durbecks epic ambient tune into a broken beat journey with
accompanying bird sounds and hectic percussion |

mainstay and breakbeat wizard Coco Bryce follows up last year's Deep Into The
Jungle EP and a wicked label-artist clothing collaboration with four varying
cuts of 160 energy; spanning half-time chops, devastatingly beautiful jungle
and lounge-bar breakbeat aesthetics. Eagle-eared listeners will have listened
to these already through the Dutch producers Balamii Radio show, where he has
welcomed fellow label regular Amy Dabbs and footwork-jungle flag flyer
Sherrelle recently. Through various aliases and musical projects Coco Bryce
has always had an infatuation for bass-heavysound, and the last couple of
years have seen him settle quite nicely into one of jungles finest
contemporaries alongside the likes of Sully and Tim Reaper. 'D.L.P' showcases
this wicked 'n' rough energy brilliantly; old-school movie samples add a
degree of depth and emotion to whiplash breaks and eerie pads before
'Velocity Of Love' takes us on a romance-induced trip through arcade-style
keys and driving percussive beats. An explosion of love and lust in the club.
'Twenty One Lies' swaps the club setting for a dimly lit bar in Peckham; jazz
influence shines across this energetic yet home-listening ready cut of
breaks, before 'Wuthering Heights' half-time identity transports us to the

obsessive, with detailed percussive elements crossing the stereo field while

Birmingham days, intense, rugged and fast. Minimal in the components and
pristine in the sound processing. Music for those who dance with closed eyes
in the shadows and strobe lights. Dos Esqueletos is the last cut on vinyl, an
elastic and liquid piece made of shuffled rhythms almost 90% percussive.

Originally
from West Wales now residing in Amsterdam in a studio nestled beside the
river Ij, Maroki now joins the ROOS family following a string of stellar
releases. He leaves nothing to chance, using his classically trained skills
and expertly engineered sounds into a pool of influences that range from
breaks, moon-lit acid and headsdown chuggy goodness. The record launches with
title track 'Emerald City' a moody cut that whisks you away from the city's
bustling streets and off the beaten track. Maroki's fixed hand helps elements
blend seamlessly into another, in what feels like a personal guide through
the emerald's subterranean. Then comes the gentle and tranquil electronics of
'Alfred Stole My Brain' both welcoming and meditative, while the swing in
drums provide dance-floor functionality and set the pace. The A side comes to
a grand close with 'Talk2Me' a brooding acid cut that mixes in elements of
breaks and aquatic synths. The track's swelling energy feeds from the A
side's previous two, culminating in a build up of emotion and speed. 'Total
Recall' raises its hypnotic head, a series of winding synths and 4/4 kick
drums creating a maze of sound, before perhaps the record's hidden gem 'All
Be Over' arrives like an old friend. The track's familiar sound design
coupled with Maroki's distinct personality create a warm and lasting
friendship; melting together old and new perspectives. 'Slower' rounds off
the EP, an equally stunning and fiery mix of breaks and angelic electronics |

Records is proud to announce the worldwide reissue of Midori Takada’s solo
album from 1999, Tree of Life, available on vinyl for the first time ever in
a new audiophile mix by the Japanese percussionist herself, and in full
half-speed-mastered glory. The 180g LP comes in a heavy sleeve with a
beautiful design by Kohei Sugiura. Tree of Life is also available in CD
(digipack) and digital formats. Originally recorded in September 1998 at
legendary Ginza (Tokyo) studio Onkio Haus (founded in 1974 and where Ryuichi
Sakamoto’s "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" and many more were
recorded) and released on CD only for the Japan market in 1999, Tree of Life
is Midori Takada’s best kept secret, a lost gem of minimalism and percussive
ambient. The album is separated in two parts, the first one finds Takada
exploring her trademark environmental soundscapes with precise mastery of
marimba, drums, and bells, notably on
he magnificent fan-favorite "Love Song Of Urfa". The second
half is a collaboration with Chinese virtuoso Erhu player Jiang Jian Hua,
allowing Midori Takada to unveil new layers of her artistic mind with a
slightly more theatrical approach and a beautiful crystallization of complex
simplicity. The entire album was given a fresh new audiophile mix by Midori
Takada herself and was mastered at Emil Berliner Studios, with half speed
cutting for the vinyl version, to ensure an audio presentation aligned with
the Japanese pioneer’s vision. This Tree of Life reissue follows two newly
recorded Midori Takada albums, Cutting Branches For A Temporary Shelter and
You Who Are Leaving To Nirvana, both available on WRWTFWW Records, along with
her 1983 masterpiece, Through The Looking Glass |

Collection
of 1980's music for aerobics and fitness craze in Yugoslavia inspired by Jane
Fonda. Composed by famed film music maestro Alfi Kabiljo, the winner of The
Camille Lifetime Achievement Award 2022 by European Composer and Songwriter
Alliance (ECSA). His trip to disco, funk and jazz, exclusively made for gym
and aerobics classes by Sylvie Vartan's dance pupil Vesna Mimica is presented
here for the first time in the form of unreleased instrumental versions and
dubs from the original studio master tapes. The phenomena of exercise and
aerobics albums started officially in Yugoslavia in 1983, when Fonda's book
was heavily promoted and published in local edition. While other releases of
the era used cheaply done covers of the disco chart hits, Alfi Kabiljo
composed original and fresh new music for the series of cassettes published
by Jugoton. The original instrumentals were considered lost, but Fox &
His Friends Records label owners Leri Ahel and Zeljko Luketic found it
decades later, restored it and decided to release it without instructional
voice-over to showcase the sound of the studio band. The musical genius
behind was Alfi Kabiljo, already a successful composer (also a conductor,
arranger, piano player, lyrics and libretto writer and producer) in the
variety of genres in Yugoslavia and all over the world. He has recorded in
Barcelona, Vienna, London (Pinewood and Twickenham), Los Angeles (Hollywood),
Ljubljana, Madrid, Paris, Tokyo and most of all in Zagreb. He has written the
music for more than 30 feature films and over a hundred television episodes.
Numerous popular songs and chansons have been recorded worldwide, he has
taken part in and won prizes at popular music festivals at home and abroad,
including Zagreb, Split and Opatija, then Rio de Janeiro, Tel Aviv, Malta,
Seoul, Palma de Mallorca, Cairo, Athens, Caracas, Mexico City and much more.
His lesser known passion is for applied and library music. The Vesna Mimica
aerobics tapes were a bold and unusual step in his career: that kind of
applied music was usually hidden in biographies of other composers. They
probably considered it artistically irrelevant due to a predefined use, but
Alfi Kabiljo never agreed on that, he treated all of his compositions with
the same pride. This rare collection of disco-fitness tunes is published in
limited edition vinyl gatefold LP; includes extensive liner notes, full color
design and socialist era workout graphics. YU Aerobic (Original Workout Music
from Yugoslavia 1981-1984) was cut by renowned vinyl experts at Pauler
Acoustics and mastered by Antony Ryan at RedRedPaw Mastering |

Stingray 313's Aqua Team series returns to Micron Audio. Originally released
as a two-part series on the ever-innovative WeMe, the records quickly became
collector's items. 15 years later, Aqua Team is now back in full force,
reimagined as a triple vinyl album of underwater sonic explorations, fully
remastered to meet modern cyborg standards. "Serotonin" starts the
series off in true DJ Stingray style - pounding drums and 808 bass kicks,
airy yet striking arpeggios and haunting vocal loops throughout.
"Straight Up Cyborg" is a dystopian journey through cybernetic
blips, bleeps and static and progressive build that truly bring the track to
life. An aquatic alien bassline, sonar-like leads and hovering snare move
swiftly in "Star Chart"; "Silicon Romance" and
"Counter Surveillance" are modish tracks instantly recognizable as
DJ Stingray 313's unique Detroit sound. "You have a destiny, and now is
your time to fulfill it" says the mantra-like sample in
"Potential", an entrancing synth loop sure to send listeners and
dancefloors deep diving into euphoria. Pounding drums, floor-shaking low-end,
running percussion and atonal, ominous samples theme the nefarious tracks
"Binary Coven", "NWO", "LR001" and
"Mindless", footnoting much darker undertakings in DJ Stingray
313's Aqua Team excursion. Closing out the Aqua Team saga is the
strongly-titled "It's All Connected". Thick drums, glistening
arpeggios and ethereal strings shine brightly across a wide stereo plane,
creating a thundering wall of sound. Aqua Team truly showcases the diverse
facets of DJ Stingray 313's signature production, as vast and evolving as the

The
Stone Techno Series returns with another exciting compilation. This time
alongside a new festival that celebrates forward thinking artists from 9th to
10th of July at Europe's biggest coal mine complex under the UNESCO World
Heritage Zollverein. The project is exceptional at its core, bringing back
excitement and inventiveness to the genre. The project functions as a
multidisciplinary ever-evolving experiment that brings different aspects
together. Sampling, creating and releasing music made out of million years
old inorganic materials which shaped and defined the Ruhr Area like nothing
else. "Auf Kohle geboren - born on coal" stands for this region and
the so-called "German Wirtschaftswunder". The Stone Techno project
wants to embrace the history of "the Ruhrpott" while looking into
the future as well. Techno Music stands for upheaval and modernity, while
coal is the symbol of the Ruhr Area. This unique project will lend audibility
to the ongoing process of transformation in the cultural and natural history
of this region. Science and museums crossing paths with contemporary
electronic music culture. The Stone Techno project is not shy of its obvious
significance. World-famous Ruhr Museum and The Third Room collective mark a
first of its kind of long-lasting collaborations between a techno brand and a
cultural institution. This time the project is conceptually going one step
further: Before the final backfilling of the mine at Zeche Zollverein, the
acoustic atmosphere of this significant piece of global mining history was
recorded 1000 metres underground, not only as an irreplaceable acoustic
document, but also as preparation for a new extraordinary sample library. A
luminary of the electronic music scene has taken on this mammoth task, the
British artist Matthew Herbert, this summer Matthew has sampled rocks and
coal seams from the UNESCO World Heritage Zollverein to create a new sample
library for STONE TECHNO from the soundscape of the underground world. The finite
raw material provides the basis for new creative endeavours coming from
previously featured producers alongside new ones. This year's artists feature
New Sample Library recorded and processed by Matthew Herbert and varied new
takes on the rich sample library from Adiel, Ben Sims, D. Dan, James Ruskin,
Julia Govor, Kink, Lady Starlight, Lokier, Luke Slater, Megan Leber, Out Of
Place Artefacts, Perc, Setaoc Mass, Sterac and Tommy Four Seven together with
new tracks from previously featured artists VNNN. and Ahmet Sisman in the
series. The Stone Techno Series marks the use of coal mines, its minerals as
a boundless source for creative inspiration, artists displaying a vigorous
return, enriching the sound and texture of a sometimes overlooked industrial

September 2021, The 18th Parallel unveiled their first collaborative LP with
Lone Ark, Showcase vol. 1, which was unanimously acclaimed by international
critics. After a series of singles in collaboration with key artists from the
golden age of Jamaican reggae such as Lee "Scratch" Perry, Linval
Thompson, Dennis Walks, Burro Banton and Mike Brooks, the Swiss
musician-producer combo is back with a new project on November 18th, 2022,
Downtown Sessions, to delight the ears of old-school roots music fans.
Downtown Sessions is the result of ten years of studio sessions between
Geneva and downtown Kingston with legendary drummer and Rockers movie star
Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace (Studio One, Black Disciples, Soul
Syndicate, Pierpoljak, Groundation,...). The 18th Parallel hits hard by
inviting some of the biggest names in Jamaican reggae on this new record:
Cornell Campbell, Max Romeo, Ras Michael, Fred Locks, Big Youth, I Kong,
Leroy Brown, The Silvertones and Hopeton James, not forgetting a Swiss guest,
Lala Love. A real anthology of roots reggae legends who blossom on original
and varied riddims that pay tribute to different eras of Jamaican roots music

Producer,
author, composer, multi-instrumentalist, dub organizer, label manager and
singer with a unique voice, Joe Yorke is a breath of fresh air in the
contemporary UK reggae scene. Known by reggae specialists for his work with
the Co-operators and recently exposed to a wider audience through his two
singles recorded in collaboration with Stand High Patrol, the Northern artist
presents his first self-produced album : "Noise And Emptiness". On
Rhythm Steady’s debut LP, Joe Yorke plays the card of authenticity, filled
with strong drum and bass sections, grooving silences, striking dub segments
and heart touching vocals. Joe Yorke's music evokes the sound of Channel One
UK, Channel One JA and Randy's which are among the most iconic studios of English
and Jamaican reggae history. He cruises between Kingston, soundsystem dub's

Records is a sub-division of Favorite Recordings, recently launched with a
first official single by Taggy Matcher Birdy & Nixon (STIX033), who
pleased us with two Reggae-Rocksteady renditions of the famous Black Keys.
Precisely specialized in the exercise of producing covers with a Reggae
twist, the new label presents his first album entitled "Disco
Reggae". Many artists faithful to the stable of Favorite Recordings and
its various sub-labels are invited for the occasion: The Dynamics, Blundetto,
Grandmagneto, 7 Samurai, John Milk or Taggy Matcher. All came and brought
their respective touch to this first compilation, with among other things
some of the rarest titles from their Big Single Records’ years, but also 4
new and exclusive productions. Each of them delivers a great Disco-Reggae
version of classic hits by some artists as diverse as Madonna, Herbie
Hancock, Justin Timberlake, The Commodores, The O'Jays, Curtis Mayfield,
Harry Nilsson or Sugarhill Gang. Whatever the genre or the period, nothing
can resist their inventiveness and creativity, to the point sometimes we
confuse between originals and covers. Everything is remastered and cut at
Carvery Records (UK), known for their expertise in Caribbean and Disco music.

Black
Uhuru and Sly & Robbie took the Reggae scene by storm in 1977, at a time
when Reggae was running out of steam and was on the verge of becoming a
caricature of itself. That same year, Punks blew up the established codes in
the music industry and Black Uhuru is in many ways Jamaica's answer to that
movement: following years of positive vibrations and hope, Black Uhuru
represents the disillusioned youths of Kingston's ghettos. Leather clad, in
your face, with an attitude, they departed from the lovey dovey image so far
bestowed upon Rastafarian Reggae… Backed and produced by Sly & Robbie,
the heaviest rhythm section the universe has ever seen or heard, Black Uhuru
screamed and lobbed dynamite sticks in lieu of lyrics. Their concerts were a
deluge of fire and brimstone that took no prisoners. Once Sly & Robbie
took them under their wing, they sounded hard onstage and in the studio. For
several years, Sly & Robbie worked tirelessly with Black Uhuru, producing
singles and albums on their TAXI label. They had firmly established
themselves at the forefront of the Reggae industry and after several years
backing Peter Tosh, they were ready for new musical adventures where they
could experiment at will. TABOU1, in association with TAXI and Diggers
Factory, is proud to release TAXI TRAX, a double album compiling singles
released on Sly & Robbie's magnificent TAXI label during that 1977-80
period. Along with Reggae anthems like "Abortion" or "Guess
Who's Coming to Dinner", TAXI TRAX contains several rarities and singles
previously unreleased outside Jamaica: covers of Bob Marley's "Sun Is
Shining", Dawn Penn's "No No No" or the unexpected
"Aquarius", fully appropriated by Black Uhuru from the 5th
Dimension's original. All in all, TAXI TRAX is filled with sides A and dubs,
as well as super rare "Dubplate" mixes, which were miraculously
salvaged and restored for this collection. Superstar graphic artist Bruno
Tilley designed a cover that mirrors the group's harsh intensity, using
Adrian Boot's photographs and liners written by Reggae authority Noel Hawkes,
who interviewed Sly and the group. TAXI TRAX showcases a long gone sound that
mashed up everything in sight at the time. This time capsule is a perfect
introduction to the crucial formation that revolutionized Jamaican music in
just a few years |

Akae
Beka's inimitable style of rich, deep, multi-layered songwriting,
uncompromising devotion to RasTafari and soulful healing melodies developed
over decades performing with St. Croix based band Midnite and countless
recordings. At the point of his untimely passing in 2019, he had released
over 70LP's. He is without a doubt one of the most prolific reggae artists
ever known. The stellar production trinity that is Zion I Kings have been
involved collectively and individually in creating some of the most highly
regarded contributions to the vast Akae Beka catalogue. The timeless songs of
'Mek A Menshun' amply reward the listener who can penetrate into the mystical
musical realms of Rastafari. Longtime fans of Midnite and Akae Beka will note
that Vaughn Benjamin's singing on 'Mek a Menshun' reached new heights of
melodic delivery and emotional intensity. Coupled with his always poetic and
insightful lyrics, these 10 original songs rank among his best recordings to
date. The title track 'Mek A Menshun' includes vocals by Protoje Grammy
(R)-nominated artist. Mek A Menshun features the stellar musicianship of the
ZIK distinguished in typical fashion by the rock-solid drumming of Lloyd
"Junior" Richards. On this album, his playing is complemented by
Aston Barrett Jr. ("By Day", "Only Now") and Kirk Bennett
( "Kagm Mystory", "Mek A Menshun"). The signature
stylings of the other core ZIK musicians are augmented by horns (Andrew
"Drew Keys" Stoch -trombone, Donald "Jahbless" Toney
-saxophone), flute- Sheldon "Attiba" Bernard, kette- Andrew
"Bassie" Campbell, and the guitar of Chet Samuel. ZIK guitarist
Andrew "Moon" Bain contributes a string arrangement on "Only
Now". Throughout the album, Laurent "Tippy I" Alfred's spot-on
organ shuffle bubbles the rhythm forward. Many of the 'Mek A Menshun' tracks
were among the last recordings done by the veteran engineer Gary Woung.

Back
in the nineties, Human Beings were pioneers in the Dutch techno scene. And
The Matrix may well be their finest moment. SoHaSo gives this stone-cold
classic the re-release it deserves, together with a magical Plaid-remix and a
forgotten track, straight from DAT. Together with Quazar and Fierce Ruling
Diva, Utrecht-based duo Human Beings were among the very first brave enough
to go live, back in 1992. Dance music was still called house or techno. Other
flavors only came later. Both Allert Aalders and Bert van der Grift were
proper nerds. Their studio was filled to the brims with vintage synthesizers
and drum computers and all machines were constantly challenged. Van der Grift
sadly passed away in 2005 after a sudden cerebral haemorrhage, marking the
abrupt end of Human Beings. The Matrix ticks all the boxes of a proper Human
Beings-tune: crystal clear melodies sweeping from corner to corner,
ultra-clever drum programming and a main theme that knocks your socks right
off. In the energetic live version, they have shaped the track to perfection.
A secret weapon that works wonders on dancefloors, even 30 years later.
London duo Plaid strip The Matrix to its bare essentials, focusing on the
main melody while giving the kick a bit more oomph in a Plaid kinda way.
Ghost in the Shell is exactly that. A forgotten off-beat track, made during
one of those many sessions in Bert's crampy studio. Its murky downtempo
rhythms take a nod to both Meat Beat Manifesto and Renegade Sound Wave. Ah,
those golden days.... |

United Identities' successful first vinyl release "Modern Intimacy
Volume 1" in 2020, founder, DJ, producer and music curator Carista
decided it was time for round two. Named after her debut mixtape, we are
proud to present "Modern Intimacy Volume 2". This album is a blend
between contemporary and futuristic sounds by 10 rising Dutch artists curated
by the label head herself. The intention of the compilation is to nurture and
showcase contemporary Dutch homegrown artists and the range of their craft;
Breaking the boundaries of sound and genre as we know it, with a refusal to
be categorized or caged in. The album starts with the hopeful and soothing
track "Whistle, accompanied by a saxophone and flute that gently guides
you through the story of Brintex Collective. Then we are moving onwards to
genre defying artist Phantom Wizard, who takes you from experimental synth
jazz to an electronic dance riddim named "Awa". These two tracks
serve as the perfect introduction and sets the tone of the label's versatile
compilation. Followed by Thrills in +41 eerie, steady soundscaping drum
patterns in "Strangelove64'', groovy bass heavy breaks that invite you
to move your whole body to EYCEE's "Crunk", or to be enticed to a
dark forest full of raving dancers with the dark but dreamy techno banger
"Body On The Floor" by DutchAfro featuring vocals by Luka Eyrie. On
the second half of the LP we are transported to an utopian dream reality in
"On" by Sansouni with ethereal voices and sounds; Percussion and
sample heavy "38A" by Conrad Soundsystem; The glitchy and dark
"Personal Reality" by Mayo and shortly after we are taken on a
journey through time and space by futuristic artist audt98 in "6

Back
from the studio with his second release on the label is Token's very own boss
Kr!z. Positioned at the forefront of the international scene for quite some
time as a DJ and label head, Kr!z first unveiled his work to the public as a
producer on a few compilations starting in 2017, leading to a debut
full-length EP 'Mantra' in 2019 via Token. After solid follow-ups on Setaoc
Mass's SK¦Eleven and James Ruskin's Blueprint, Kr!z now offers 'Atlantis',
pushing new depth into two original tracks with remixes by the infamous Oscar
Mulero and exciting up-and-coming Marcal. The title track 'Atlantis' claims
the A1 wasting no time in clarifying the EP's intention. A brewing whirlpool
of pitch bending pads suck in the listener while rowing down linear percussion
and resonant stabs. The cut boasts dimension as it tosses and turns
throughout its duration, taking us right into Oscar Mulero's 'deconstruction'
as a follow-up. Respecting the cyclical spirit of the original track, Mulero
slowly guides sustained bells through a thickened percussion-line to rethink
Atlantis's accents. Mulero focuses the pace of the record and we land on a
slightly more sequenced B side. 'Nautilus' brings a loopy groove with
momentary dissonant synth-work to polish things up. Stricter transitions
provide structure to the EP as a whole, and the energy passes from a
maelstrom to waves. To conclude, Brazil's Marcal provides his take on
'Nautilus' by tightening the seams and adding his famed groove to Kr!z's
work. Particularly playful on the drums and fleeting stabs, Marcal adds sway
to the mix with an infectious pulsating bassline that effortlessly pushes all
other elements; never once losing his balance |

a collaborative release on Sherelle and Naina's Hooversound Recordings and
EPs on Sneaker Social Club, WNCL Recordings and his own Club Glow (ran
alongside Denham Audio, LMajor and Borai), contemporary UK breaksmith Mani
Festo readies four typically lairy cuts of gun-finger, rush-in-the-rave
energy. Mani Festo has become something of a breakbeat assassin in recent
years with a deserved spotlight being shone on the producer as one of the
brightest artists to emerge from within the dark 'n' dutty UK breaks and
electro scene. What you see is what you get from Mani Festo; what you're
getting is a screwface and a smacked jaw. 'Leviathan' kicks things off with
its stripped-back, grime-like textures - distorted kicks, frantic claps and
growls from the belly of the beast blend on a minimal-breaks sequence that
packs quite a punch despite its uncluttered soundwaves. 'Tethys' follows in a
similar vein; distorted screams come from a brass-creature deep in the
darkness, scattered percussion and step-tipped production blur the lines
between garage, breaks and electro. Large wubs and basslines guide the
listener front left (just make sure you've got your protective earplugs in!)
on 'Night Drive' before 'With U' strays down an emotional and introspective route
with its otherworldly atmospherics, jungle tones and contemplative stillness
- a creative combining of both heaven and hell |

Huismann returns to Mutual Rytm as he delivers the second instalment of his
"Sounds From The Past" trilogy on the label. As SHDW & Obscure
Shape's Mutual Rytm imprint continues to grow, it's clear that the DJ and
producer pairing have a strong vision for the label and are building an
equally impressive roster of artists to form the imprint's core family
members. One of the early standouts is Lars Huismann, who arrived to deliver
a selection of impactful offerings influenced by the "golden years"
of techno in his own unique style crafted by various production techniques.
Having featured on the label's opening VA and delivered the first EP for
MR002, racking up a wealth of global support in the process, mid-November
welcomes a return for the Berlin-based talent as he serves up six fresh cuts
in his signature sound for "Sounds From The Past II". Opener
"Sounds From The Past II" is an action-packed title cut fusing
typically slick rolling grooves with hazy melodies and atmospheric releases
of tension, while "Propulsion" takes cues from its title and sees
precise drum shots, echoed background vocals and a tunnelling groove taking
the track right into the thick of the action. On the flip, B1 "Loucura"
brings a percussive workout as frantic organic drums and resonant brass
melodies bring a party
to proceedings, with "Stroke" and "Nudge" both armed
with tough kicks, zipping synths and more subtle vocal work. Digital buyers
get an extra exclusive in the form of "Dub Division", welcoming a
slightly more subdued but equally as impactful track guided by dubby chords
