Gonzalez Smith's debut album:

Another of the albums that
Prestige would issue several years after it was recorded, Bahia is drawn from
a couple of sessions that the iconic tenor saxophonist recorded for the label
in the late 1950s, during a time in which he was exploring different genres
with various players, including pianist Red Garland, bassist Paul Chambers,
plus drummers Jimmy Cobb and Art Taylor. The album has plenty of Trane
hallmarks in the saxophone lead, and there is noteworthy contribution from
trumpeter Wilbur Harden on 'My Ideal' and Freddie Hubbard on 'Something I
Dreamed Last Night.' This is simply a great Coltrane listening experience.

Autumn
is inevitable, so is another 12' from Absys Records. This time it's an album
sampler for the forthcoming second compilation by the name of 'Mystical Deep
vol 2'. In a similar vein to the previous wax release, we've got three
exceptional tracks to present to you. The 12' opens with the absolute
grandmasters of atmospheric dnb - the legendary Scottish duo under the
moniker of Future Engineers. Here, their track 'Ellipse' is remixed by
another top atmospheric dnb producer - the owner and founder of Offworld
Recordings, LM1. His rendition of the track gave it a new, fresh dimension,
but still retaining the mighty bassline and spacious pads that make you
virtually surrender and submerge in the sound. A deep, though powerful track
that will surely move many a dancefloors all over the world. Next in Line is
'Fading Memory's' by Synth Sense - a duo from Kent in Great Britain, focusing
in their production on deep and futuristic sounds and this track is no
exception. Their work is an astounding deep and pulsating killer where the
cosmic sounds take us into a completely different dimension. The whole is
complemented by vocal part by MC Fava who makes the track even deeper and
more tranquil. Our feast ends with a true blow of freshness - 'New Rise' by
Nuage, that is. This young artist from Russia has been present and active in
Absys camp for quite some time, though he's been making music only for just
under two years, but still, he's considered by many as one of the most
exciting producer in the business. His newest work is full of subtle details
and keeps an uplifting, melodious note to it, filled with sublime vocals
echoing the words 'Just as Long as I Believe'. But wait - there's more! To
make this autumn the most beautiful season, we've also got a brilliant
artwork by our valued Feebee to complement this 12' |

the great techno artists who pioneered European techno, our artists have
experimented with new loops and effects to create a new, fused genre. This
collection will be available exclusively to vinyl stores. LR32,5 PREVIEW is
the first release in this collection. It features a two track promo created
by Fractious as well as a collaboration between Audiomatiques and Frankyeffe.
'Inspired by Azibi' (Fractious) is a funky, groove track that almost Plays
with old school jungle music. There Are drop-like sounds that are similar to
a calypso xylophone that join the drum track right from the get-go. The Loops
build upon each other so the song continues to excite and surprise the
listener up until it's very satisfying ending. 'Losing Control'
(Audiomatiques/Frankyeffe) Starts with a throbbing bass and drum blend
brought through a remixer. A subtle Backdrop of synthesized Notes gradually
gains momentum and volume until it becomes the foreground melody, giving an
intro with a sick drum track. The Song seems to pay tribute with influence by
some of Underworld's Older tracks in methodology, making 'Losing Control' An

Mako's 'A Break From Ritual' is a heavy-footed drum rush that
has no confusion about its namesake. Apaches, Amens and Think breaks clatter
seamlessly overtop a crushing two-step kick/snare darkly worshipping Photek's
classic MODUS OPERANDI track 'Smoke Rings.' Heavier and unshy about his
equally informed nods to noughties neurofunk, Mako does not mean to
disappoint a single dance-floor with this one. Borrowing a line from Billie
Holiday, the homage continues as Mako's 'What a Little Moonlight Can Do' builds
its dusky rhythm section from layered sixteenths, loads of chunky 1-2-3
percussion, and long, long reverb tails. Some of the A-side's blue-chord
high-passed pad sounds return, for a brief moment, taking us back to a
smoke-filled barroom in the the 1930s-at least as far back as drum & bass

We are proud to present our release number 29: three precision
techno tools from the hand of veteran producer Kike Pravda, including a remix
by Oscar Mulero. 'Queen of the Damned' opens the record with tight drum work,
subterranean atmospheres, accurate synth sounds and a structure in constant
evolution that make of this track a definite hit on the dance floor. On the B
side, Oscar Mulero reinterprets 'Anthropic' using Detroit style keyboards,
razor sharp hi-hats and a sibilant ambience. A track devised not so much for
the mind, but for the body. The original version of 'Anthropic' closes the
release with hardened rhythms, dynamic Roland 909 sounds, together with deep
and changing arrangements that keep tension up for the duration of the piece.

talented keys player Joe Armon-Jones is back with new single ‘Icy Roads

Your Own Records recently launched with a sold out first release; Ceri’s
‘Life Holstee E.P.’ which included a timeless Fred P Reshape. Fusing the
sounds of Berlin, Detroit, Chicago and London, the release was supported by
everyone from Midland, Move D, Ben UFO and Fumiya Tanaka, to Steve
O’Sullivan. The second release, the ‘I Need You To Make Me Sweat’ E.P. also
draws inspiration from the classic sounds of Chicago and Detroit, and
features none other than a remix from bona fide Dance Music Legend, Mr. G.
The title track ‘Need You’ is a Juno bassline driven, classic sounding
‘proper’ deep house track, raising in energy as it peaks, with vocal snippets
and modulated analogue drums building throughout. Mr. G has taken Ceri’s
title track, ‘Need You’, and twisted it into a harder, faster ‘Jaded Dub’,
capturing a dark and driving energy, tantalising and adding to the drum
grooves with his trademark swinging rides and industrial synths, adding his
infamous MPC swing to the vocal snippets, and building the tension
throughout, as the one and only G can. The B side ‘Sweat’, draws inspiration
from 80’s and 90’s house with a modern dark twist, mixing variating funky
drum machine rhythms, classic house vocal samples and pulsing sub-bass to. |

When Ben White was 25 years old Eddy Bongo Brown of the Funk
Brothers brought him to Motown to play with Marvin Gay, 5 years later he
recorded this single 'I would have to be a fool' and released it himself. Ben
comes from a long line of musicians in his family, his cousins are Cab
Calloway and Otis Redding. Over the years he sessioned for Marvin Gay,
Bloodstone, Carl Carlton, High Energy, Harold Johnson, J.W. Alexander,
Richard T & The Salsoul Orchestra. Unfortunately, as is often the case,
children came along and Ben moved away from music, this and forthcoming AOTN
single 'Give Me Love' were his only solo recordings unless we can find the
tapes of his lost LP further down the line |

Last
summer we took a record trip to California and when in LA, we had the chance
to meet Dan Ubick, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, DJ and one of
the nicests guys you'll ever meet. We met on a friday night in North
Hollywood around tacos and Micheladas and discussed music, his tour
experiences with De La Soul, and talked about records and more records. We
had been following Dan's work since the early 2000s as he was an original
member of the legendary Breakestra, brain child of Connie Price & The
Keystones and founding member of reggae bands The Lions and Night Owls. After
a while into our conversation it was clear that we spoke the same language
musically so a collaboration between us seemed logical. He suggested
recording a couple of instrumentals which morphed into the funky,
Brazilian-inspired hip-hop 7" you hold in your hands. To enhance the
flavor Dan brought in his good friend and ace percussion player Bobby Easton,
singer Diana Purim (daughter of Brazilian luminaries Airto Moreira and Flora
Purim) to help sing the hook and the one-and-only Sadat X from NYC's
legendary Brand Nubian, whom he's been lucky enough to work with a few times
over the years. The result is a funky, moody, psychedelic mid-tempo vehicle
for Sadat X's poignant verses about the similarities between living in to the
projects of New York City and the favelas of Rio de Janeiro - the good, the
bad and everything in between which graces Side A. Side B features the
Instrumental for listeners to hone in on Connie Price's funky drums, Julius
Augustus' slinky bassline, Richard Donovan's haunting organ and synth parts,

Ignez
makes his Token comeback for a new format yet again, presenting his first
ever LP with the Belgian label. One of the scene's most intriguing artists to
emerge in the past few years, the young Dutchman has paved his road to
acclaim by experimenting with sonic narratives and interpreting them with
dance floor efficiency. Constantly working the conceptual intentions of his
records, Ignez offers a refreshing take on club music by giving it his
unmistakable touch of cinematic storytelling. 'Tides' is an ode to his
personal connection with nature, and each track represents a shift in energy
and emotional ambiance, rising and falling with each transition. With this
approach, it only makes sense to release a project of this length; Ignez is
able to tell his story through waves, washing over assertive rhythmic work
with far off keys and soothing pads. Songs like the album's introduction
'Enchant' and 'Delusional Bond' inspire curiosity of what lies beyond murky
waters and the impactful aftermath of these tracks explains the untameable
quality of ocean tides through erratic percussion and razor-sharp sound
design like in 'Bliss'. Ignez's synth
work throughout 'Tides' is elusive if anything, swimming through his arrangements
in an unpredictable manner. He tells the story of an environment that imposes
the sometimes harsh rules of its territory with restless elements ready to
jump out at any given moment. This feeling of almost powerlessness can be
felt in 'Awakening' for example, a record that's bent on intrigue and
suspense over a stomping four to thefloor kick. Curiosity, anticipation,
discovery: these are all things that can describe the chosen theme and, of
course, Ignez's work as a composer. The album serves as a look into the
respect the artist has for unstoppable energy and his translation of it
thereof through the expressive sound design and thick atmospheres that
propelled him to the forefront of his scene |

Moss wrote for ‘Parellel Spheres’ & ‘Figures in Mynd’, two parts of an
abstract animation film by visual artist Gabriela González Rondon. The film
premiered in October 2023 during Videodroom / Film Festival Ghent. In her
surreal and trippy gem of analog filmmaking Gonzales draws up whole universes
of movement and color that seem to share a spiritual space with likeminded
sci-fi writers such as Ursula K Le Guin or filmmaker John Whitney. The
soundtrack for this dreamy experiment was provided by kindred soul and
psychonaut Hieroglyphic Being. For over 20 years Moss has been an one-off
musical explorer that takes inspiration from House, Industrial, Kraut,
Avant-Jazz and Noise to make his spectacularly unique take on radical &
psychedelic (dance) music. VIERNULVIER RECORDS is the Belgian record label by
VIERNULVIER Arts Centre (Ghent). The label focuses on music that is

Copenhagen, Denmark based imprint Inherent Futurism shines a light on an
unsung gemstone from the Detroit Electro genre, Autobot-1000's '3 Dimension
Of Space'. Inherent Futurism is a new label coming out of Copenhagen, Denmark
and headed up by Morten Kamper, a staple in the Danish electronic music scene
who's been involved in it for more than 30 years and nowadays is running the
313vinyl_collective record store in the capital. Inherent Futurism will focus
on a blend of unearthed old records and new material with no real boundaries,
just a focus on quality electronic music in all forms with an inclination
towards Techno and Electro. To inaugurate the label, Morten will release
Autobot-1000's debut album on vinyl for the first time, the project was only
out on CD and released in 2001 on Hoodwink Records from North Carolina, US.
Run by James B. Boggs who also was executive producer on the album. Across
the '3 Dimensions Of Space' LP, Autobot-1000 treats us to an array of classic
Detroit Techno and Electro cuts, fusing an amalgamation of crisp analogue
drums, intricately intertwined synth strings, squelchy acid licks and
arpeggios alongside silky snaking bass grooves, twinkling chimes and vocoder
vocal lines. The entire project embraces and encapsulates the futuristic,
spaced out aesthetic synonymous with the Electro sound of it's time and
place, namely Detroit at the turn of the millennium |

Architecture are pleased to announce the third in their 'Architecture Dubs'
series of limited edition 10" vinyl releases, which sees some of the
most revered names active during the mid 90s golden era of Drum & Bass
deliver remixes of Suburban Architecture material in homage to that most
innovative of periods. Following on from the now sold out release of
Architecture Dub #001 (featuring remixes from Peshay and DJ Trax), and #002
(featuring Blame and DJ Trace), edition #003 features remixes from two
further legends in the scene, Nookie and DJ Crystl. Nookie needs little
introduction. From early 90s Hardcore through to present day heavy hitters
via a string of mid 90s classics, Nookie has had an enviable career in the
genre. Having recorded for seminal labels that heavily influenced the
Suburban Architecture sound: Reinforced, Moving Shadow and Good Looking,
Nookie was an obvious choice for this remix package. On this release he takes
2021's 'Renegade Horns' to more dancefloor oriented territory with an
energetic roller that marries classic drum breaks with a contemporary
production feel. DJ Crystl is also a name with a storied history in Drum
& Bass. Also releasing music since the early 90s, Crystl has seen
releases on influential labels, Lucky Spin, Dee Jay Recordings, Moving Shadow
and iconic US Hip Hop imprint Payday. Crystl's remix of 2020 Suburban
Architecture cut 'New Horizons' carries classic 1994 flavour, delivering an
extended, Amen-laced rework of the original, full of classic Intelligent
sonics. Pressed on 10" vinyl and housed in brown Kraft paper sleeves,
the series makes visual reference to the exclusive dubplate pressings which
introduced so many classic cuts to the UK's dancefloors in the 90s |

Let's twist the ball around and discover the new chapter of the journey, that
kicked off 8 years ago. The search continues! The Simple Symmetry brothers
together with the enigmatic Lord Fascinator deliver their most epic track
that we nominate as the title of the whole compilation - 'The Search
Continues' is a psychodelic / indie infused house tune with same cool vibe
from their previous collab 'Czars in My Eyes', remixed by Prins Thomas. Local
superstars Cream Soda roll out 'Uuueee', an effective and funny peak track,
road-tested on many summer dancefloors. Closing side A is our mainstay
Kovyazin D. 'Moscow Central Circle' is an ode to railway trips and is
inspired by the world that unfolds from the window on a train ride, rushing
through the urban landscapes. Side B is opened by our very own Lipelis, who
this time teams up with Cosmic G in his Belgrade studio to render that
'dancing with closed' eyes track 'Locked To Heaven', essential for long and
epic sets played at special locations. Gleb Filipchenkow is a new guy in
town, heavily praised by mum, dad, &ME, Adam Port, AME and Dixon. 'Mieux
La' features Ode on vocals and is a perfect closing track of 'Eight Years Of
Love' Pt.1, that highlights the spirit of the RadugaDiscoClub floor - the
brighter side of things that run at big System 108 events parallel to the
main blasting techno floor |

been smashing it really hard lately, vibing the big room and setting up the
heat level of prime time slots (just watch her legendary STVOL.TV set and you
can get an idea, how sweaty it was). Utilizing her experience of early years
playing in garage bands and the experience as an in-demand DJ, Errortica
comes with a fresh and original approach for production on Sweat and Get
Down. Break-beat, balearic, jersey and bass music, Sasha denies genre
borders, and incorporates what she plays out into her own new music world.
Calligraphic sampling, re-sampling, vocal recording and processing via guitar
FX pedals, heavy drum programming, - the creative flow here has been also
very sweaty, and so is the final result. In her own words, "a real party
