In
the midst of House music's burgeoning scene in 1986 Chicago, a young local DJ
named Jonathan Gilbert, known as Scrappy, seized a golden opportunity to
showcase his skills at the renowned Medusa's Club's video room. It was in
1987, one fateful night, when the main DJ failed to show up, that Gilbert
stepped in, securing a residency at one of the city's hottest spots. As the
year progressed, Gilbert ventured into music production, teaming up with The
Boxx Boys--Jim Marcus and Van Christie, notable for their later formation of
the iconic group Die Warzau. Their collaboration birthed the legendary acid
house anthem from Chicago, "Freeze," which Gilbert released under
his Zap Records label in 1988, solidifying his place in Chicago's music
history. The track became a timeless favorite, and is often featured in
Jerome Derradji's sets. With Scrappy's gracious consent, we have the
privilege of reissuing this seminal track, along with delving into his
archives to uncover previously unreleased gems and alternate versions from
his Atlantic Records era around 1990. For a brief period, Scrappy rode the
waves of Chicago's house scene with his distinctive flair before bidding
farewell to pursue new horizons in California. Presented for the first time
on Still Music, "Acid House + Medusa's - Chicago, 1987-1992"
invites listeners on a journey through the vibrant tapestry of late-eighties
Chicago House. DJing, indulgence, romance, and the pulsating beats of acid
house defined Scrappy's era, and fortunately, he left behind a legacy of
unforgettable house tunes, emblematic of the city's unparalleled musical
spirit. This limited edition DLP release, accompanied by an insert detailing
the captivating tale of one of Chicago's unsung talents, ensures that
Scrappy's story and his contribution to the era remain etched in musical

releasing a pair of playful rec/ords alongside of The Wave Pictures, and two
albums of folk shanties and old/time calypso with Nor/way's folk troupe The
Kaniks, this new release is back to being a solo affair, albeit with
collaborator and long time muse Clemence Freschard alongside Claire Falzon
and Helene Nuland.Brinks is re/nowned for his unique anti/folk style> both
playful and suggestive, insightful and entertaining. The early carnival music
of Trinidad became a passion, and he became the unquestioned master of
European calypso, changing his name to Stanley Brinks. Under this moniker he
has recorded more than 100 albums, collaborated with the New York Antifolk
scene on several occasions, record/ed and toured with traditional Norwegian

Not
so long ago in 2017, the first release on Michiel Claus' and Ailsa Cavers'
Basic Moves saw the light of day and especially the shine of night. Produced
by founding father Walrus, BM01 set the tone for a record label that focuses
on releasing hidden archives from the 90s, whilst combining them with modern
club music from the here and now. By highlighting the musical heritage of the
Belgian electronic music scene, the label illustrates the continuity between
past and present, history and shaping identities of 21st-century artists,
undeniably building on the strong foundations of their forerunners. Seven
years and nineteen releases later, Basic Moves is rounding off the series
with BM20, a final double 12'' by one of the major figures from the Belgian
underground: Circadian Rhythms also known as Dj Deg. After many years of
collecting, deejaying and producing music, his musical spectrum ranges from
synth, library and wave, to jazz, funk and disco, from house to techno. His
journey started in clubs like Bocaccio (1988 - 1993), and La Gait? (1979
-1989), where young Deg came across deejay's like Olivier Pieters or Eric
Beysens who made him choose the path of becoming a devoted disc jockey
himself. BM20 is a sonic witness of Deg's first musical encounters with his
machines, revealing a withdrawn selection of six bedroom patchwork tracks
produced between the years of '93 & '99, a time without the internet or
user manuals to help you solve the riddles of technology. Though only at the
very beginning of his creative process, Deg's unique personality is
nevertheless already clearly identifiable: blending techno with jazz, where
the sharp edges of 16-step drum-sequences are smudged and bent in different
directions. In the lower countries, the second half of the 90s was a period
of fast & funky, happy Detroit, 140 BPM techno. Whenever Deg was not
oscillating between record shops or gigs and had a moment on his own, mostly
during morning hours after the club, he would spend his leftover energy in the
studio. Either by himself or with his loyal ally Mike DMA, he would benefit
from these moments to slow down and give space to a different, introverted
sound - processing moods, feelings and thoughts. This record therefore
gathers only a few of many (unrecorded) one-shot live sessions which were
never intended to be shared - and only existed for the love of music and its
power to take you beyond all things known. Thank you Deg for sharing your
music and giving us a glimpse of your universe. Without your productions,
your memorable warm-ups and closing sets - many of us would not be where we
are now, and Basic Moves might never have been founded. As a last note to a
closing song, BM20 is about being fully committed to the music and the club,
a medium and place of fruitful settings for encounters, creativity and
growth. Where dreams and ideas have a chance to exist, being almost ready and

taken from Evans the Deaths new album Expect Delays, out 2nd March. Recorded
again with producer Rory Atwell (Test Icicles, Warm Brains), the new
long-player bristles with underlying tension and veers from rip-roaring noise
to quiet contemplation, underpinned by Katherine Whitakers extraordinary
voice. Enabler opens with a sonic onslaught of fuzz and feedback before the
rhythm section explodes into life and the song kicks in, Whitaker's
distinctive vocals doubled up like sinister twins prowling around a
gorgeously discordant melody. Still barely out of their teens, theres a
tremendous sense across Expect Delays of a band coming into their own, honing

Follow-up
EP to Arabrot's celebrated sixth album. Produced by Emil Nikolaisen (Serena
Maneesh). Three new tracks featuring Karin Park, Lasse Marhaug and Erland
Dahlen (Nils Petter Molvr). Vinyl only release limited to 500 copies on white
vinyl. The Norwegian noise-rock rebels Arabrot are back with a follow-up EP
to their self-titled sixth album. The A-side features Signifying Monkey, a
loose decadent rocker and the pitch black noise track Mystikum, whilst the
B-side features a 15 minute sonic monster: Story of Lot. The motoric pulse at
the basis of the track, sprouted a grotesque appetite for sounds. Generous
amounts of boasting bass lines and opulent organs was fed to the mix, but
this only amplified the unruly rhythm. The famed noise-jockeys Lasse Marhaug
and Erland Dahlen was sent for to tame the beast, but nothing could control
the yeasty black mass from growing. It was evident that Story of Lot had
grown out of all proportions and would swallow the whole album if it wasn't
put in a reservation of its own: A full 12" side on a separate release.
The EP features artwork by the Norwegian artist Johannes Hie and a printed
inner-sleeve with a short story by the legendary English writer John Doran |

Rio
en Medio is Santa Fe, New Mexico resident Danielle Stech-Homsy. She released
her debut album "The Bride of Dynamite" on Devendra Banhart's
Gnomonsong label in early 2007. After extensive touring in the US and Europe
with CocoRosie, Grizzly Bear and Quinn Walker, Danielle retreated to her New
Mexico home to start on "Frontier". The LP was released on Manimal
Vinyl in October 2008 and this 'deluxe edition' CD will include three
previously unreleased bonus tracks and a video for the track "The
Umbrella". In just the passed year, Danielle has performed or
collaborated with a wide variety of outstanding artists, including Devendra,
Vetiver, CocoRosie, Tarantula A.D., Tim Fite and Larry Yes, among others. In
addition, she recently appeared at England's All Tomorrows' Parties Festival.
Now, with the album release imminent, Danielle is already getting busy on her
next projects. There are whispers of a collection of dance tracks in the
works. She has alluded to a collaborative album with Tim Fite. As she gains
momentum, Danielle is sure to surprise both herself and her audience,
inspiring renewed faith in the power of a song to transform the reality of
its listener. Danielle's songwriting reflects a vast scope of influence from
techno to traditional folk to early and contemporary classical, drawing on
literature as well as music, from ancient to avant, and incorporating
elements of chance. Her crystalline vocals, delicately strummed baritone
ukulele and found sonic elements evoke the strange delight of a dream where
the dreamer's authority is always in question. At its best, the gentle, the
fearful, the sorrowful, the formidable, the entranced and the rambunctious
collide to create a sound that is as responsive as it is moving. In her own

In 1967, a Swedish Radio station,
Radiohuset, in Stockholm inaugurated a programme they called 'Tonárskvill',
or 'Teenagers-Evening' featuring live concerts by international groups.
Artists such as Hendrix, Cream, the Move, the Byrds and Traffic all performed
at Radiohuset during 1967 and 1968, and we present here one such concert from
January 1968 by Eric Burdon & The New Animals. The gigs have been
rebroadcasted many times since and the sound quality is consistently
top-notch |

Two bassists from two different
continents - Italian Lorenzo Feliciati of the adventurous jazz-rock band
Naked Truth and the intensely searching nu jazz group Berserk! and Australian
Colin Edwin of the longstanding prog-rock band Porcupine Tree and the heavy-duty,
experimental Metallic Taste of Blood as well as Ex-Wise Heads and Burnt
Belief - come together to make one potent statement on Twinscapes. With
special guest appearances by acclaimed trumpeter Nils Petter Molvaer,

Aeternamour, Cléa Vincent's third album, will be released on 29 March 2024 by
Midnight Special. If the 90s gave us “French touch,” then the 2010s ushered
in “French pop,” and it was in the midst of this revival that Cléa began her
artistic journey. As early as the music video for “Achète-le-moi” from her
debut LP Retiens mon désir (2016), we witness the singer striking selfie-like
poses with her French pop comrades (La Femme, Bertrand Burgalat), appearing
pell-mell on screen in the form of their vinyl records. Since then, whether
singing with Philippe Katerine or co-producing (and composing) Jeanne
Balibar's D'ici là tout l'été (2023), Cléa Vincent has effortlessly carved
out a niche for herself in the French pop scene. The advantage of being a
“jack-of-all-trades” — Cléa is a writer, composer, and producer — is that her
music casts a wide net. Both highly acclaimed in the indie circuit and “as
seen on TV” (on Quotidien, among others), she has also enjoyed a stint as the
host for web-TV show Sooo Pop, for which she regularly interviewed a plethora
of French artists. Beyond France, the singer tours extensively. After a run
of concerts in Europe, Asia, North and South America, it was her visit to
Latin and Central America that inspired Tropi-cléa (2017-2020-2022). The
three EPs bathed in a tropicalist glow do more than just dip their toes in
the water; they mark a deep desire to escape in a post-lockdown world. In
between these projects emerged Cléa’s LP Nuits sans sommeil (2019). The album
quickly became an instant classic and lives up to its name, since Clea never
seems to stop — writing, composing, singing, or dancing. Mixed by Stephane
ALF Briat, who has lent his magic touch to records by Phoenix, Bonnie Banane,
Air, and Flavien Berger, Cléa Vincent's third LP Advitam Aeternamour proves
once again that her music is in perpetual renewal. The artist takes risks
both in her pursuit for innovative sounds and in the themes she tackles:
coming out, incest, grief...and of course, she will always be a true romantic
at heart; there’s no need to be ashamed of loving love. Cléa’s songs are full
of “explicit lyrics,” but not in the typical sense: rather than ringing harsh
and raw, her words are tinged with sweetness and melancholy, at the risk of shocking
less sentimental listeners. Written hand-in-hand with Raphaël Léger, her
creative soulmate for the last ten years who also recorded and produced the
album, Advitam Aeternamour features lyrics charged with Epinal and equinox
imagery. On the poignantly sober title track, sudden flashes of light are
padded by tinkling synthesizers swathed in the voices of an angelic choir, as
also heard on “Nuit de Yalda.” Cléa offers a modern take on 90s house music
(“C'est Ok”) and 2-step garage (“Free Demain”). Particularly influenced by
The Beloved, she is not above dipping pop songs into the electronic melting
pot to get them through the club door (“État Second,” where we “turn up the
BPM”). And whether on “Shut down ma tête,” or “Douce Chavirée,” Cléa pushes
the champagne cork down even further so that the party never stops. The bass
gets louder, the rhythm intensifies — the melodies of these eternal hits are
an invitation onto the dance floor, lit up by her smile. As depicted in the
soothing embrace that appears on the album artwork, the bright psychedelic
hues are the perfect complement to her therapeutically inclined synthetic
pop. Even if they tackle themes such as breakups, Cléa's songs, which are
vitamin-packed and deep on the surface, are intended to heal and repair. “Se
laisser partir,” with its light vocoder echoes, emulating the vocal shadow of
a loved one, is an optimistic breakup song. Advitam Æternamour gives us life,
from birth to grief — and in the middle, wild, beating passion. If her songs
resonate with us, it's because Cléa speaks to us in her songs, as heard on
the girl power anthem “Free demain,” where she addresses the listener as a
friend (“put the pedal to the metal and you’ll take off for the stars”). When
she shares the microphone with Jacques on “État Second,” enveloped by the
sounds of unidentified musical objects, the complementary nature of the two
artists is evident. The album is as much a tribute to the healing virtues of
music as it is a self-portrait of Cléa inhabited by her art. Ad vitam æternam

Two
years after the release of the Polarius EP Inner Voices Of A Clown, Danny
Wolfers returns to Altered Circuits, this time under his best-known alias
Legowelt, for Ruins Of Cracktopolis: a collection of "hymns to survive
the dystopian circus of today's techno scene" in the artist's own words.
On Do You Know Who You Never Be, a short staccato lead and dark chords
revolve around a monolithic kick drum pattern that takes care of the cadence
and bass. A mysterious vocoder and a laser sequence that gets torn and
twisted to the max join, but the track never loses its steady pace - it gets
help from shakers so much mixed to the front they could be lifted from a
B'more track. Amidst the effervescing 303 lines and bold drum sequences of In
A Trance Dance All Night" Wolfers finds a canvas for a stretched
synthesizer jam with eighties breaking allure. This melody, together with the
pads and vocal, are drenched in reverb - they float like mist ascending from
the The Hague dunes. Throughout Ruins Of Cracktopolis, more vintage Dutch
West Coast, the hiss-laden broken beat that guides the bass sequences and
ominous blippy synth patterns switches to a 4/4 structure and back. These
make for captivating shifts in pace while the minor progressions continue
unfolding. Like Twin Peaks targets prime energy once the arpeggiator sequence
present from the start lowers an octave. The track runs smooth like a pomade
slick-back; it's only tempered slightly when the crunchy kick and tom change
place for a moody chord sequence break. Even if these four tracks target the
club, they are equally suited for - quoting Wolfers again - "leisurely
home listening". Their greatest strengths are, as so often, their
melodic aspects. The artist is known to be a synthesizer aficionado, but his
unique personal touch immediately shines through no matter which gear he
works with. The machines never seem to dominate the composing process; quite
the opposite: it's as if he isn't programming or registering as much as trying
to teach them his take on electronic music |

New York City house music icon Joaquin Joe Claussell has embarked on an

As
Token gears up for its 126th release, the time has come to invite a label
favorite - Inigo Kennedy. The Englishman responsible for Token 1 readies us
for three tracks of pure grain and warbling melodies packaged as 'The
Calling' - a hypnotic yet stomping club record that highlights his unique
production style full of character. Taking up the entirety of the A side,
'Magnitude Seven' pulses itself through the first part of the ep. Melodic yet
dissonant as many of Kennedy's best records, the track calls on a stripped
down acid line to support a saturated groove and noisy synthwork. Epic in
construction, 'Magnitude Seven' comes in waves of unsettling intensity
emphasized by a powerful double kick sequence. The B1 takes it up a notch as
the title track appropriately named 'The Calling'. A frantic four to the
floor rhythm pushes along sustained notes, settling in a certain pressure.
Harmonic sections breathe more life in an otherwise nail biting record that
defines the Token sound accurately and Kennedy uses this arrangement to
distance himself from the classic loop based template used by most producers
in his field today, confirming the ongoing relevance of a longstanding career
in club music. Ending with a bit of a twist for most, longtime fans will be
unsurprised by the choice to wrap things up with 'Out of the Woods' - a
fitting electronica closer that departs from 'The Calling' with a focus on
introspection. Drifting notes and a shuffled percussion line are reminiscent
of his UK roots and fit perfectly as an epilogue to his previous techno
tracks. Ethereal as ever, Inigo Kennedy offers us another masterclass in out
of the box production techniques in soulful electronic music |

In
March this year COD3 QR delivered a digital threesome from DJ Deep, Avision
and Deetron. Now, twice as much is
coming in June for the label's first vinyl-only release, with each artist
bringing a second track to the platter.
As usual the tracks have been selected by Laurent Garnier for the
label whose ethos is: Music diversity is our strength! Fortunate to grow up
around the rich club culture of NYC and influenced by the sounds around him,
Avision started young on the turntables at the age of 12, gained his first
residency at 15, and hasn't looked back since. Around that time, he also began to hone his
production skills and developed a distinctly New York-flavoured techno and
house sound which is evident on "Hold No Groove" and "Talk Is
Cheap". It's the recognisable
sound he's previously brought to the likes of Cocoon, Ellum, Drumcode and
Hardgroove. Having been involved with
making and playing music for over 20 years, Deetron is an artist who is
assured in his ambitions and a skilled performer, maintaining a high level of
quality in every aspect of his career: from mind-boggling three-deck DJ sets
to his special touch on remixes or his diverse range of productions. In 2014 he launched his own imprint,
Character. But has also graced the
likes of Axis, Music Man, Subject Detroit, Running Back, Rekids and
more. Here he brings the original
techno sound of "Pulse", alongside the deeper "Corazon".
DJ Deep got the party started with "What's Going On". It's now accompanied by the hypnotic
"Transition". So, it's no
surprise to hear he started playing at clubs and raves in Paris in the late
'80s / early '90s, including Laurent's renowned Wake Up at Rex. The respected and versatile DJ, producer,
label-boss and party curator is just at home helming the decks at major venues
as well as mixing radio shows for Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM. As a producer his critically acclaimed
appearances on Rekids, Kaoz Theory and Tresor, not to mention his own Deeply
Rooted, have demonstrated his imaginative approach to house and techno |

Garden
City Movement's debut album 'Apollonia' is set for release on 16th March
2018. The trio of Roy Avital, Yoav Saar and Johnny Sharoni produce a blend of
sounds drawn from their diverse cultural worlds, ranging from art-pop to
experimental house to horizontally-aligned vibes. Since surfacing at the
close of 2013 with their breakout track 'Move On', Garden City Movement have
released 'Entertainment' and 'Bengali Cinema' EPs, the 'Modern West' 12' in
collaboration with The Vinyl Factory, climbed the Hype Machine Popular Chart
with multiple singles, recorded live sessions for Boiler Room, Majestic
Casual and FACT, opened for Bonobo, Caribou, Alt-J and played all over the
world. The band's music video for 'Move On' received a nomination for Best
Music Video at the LA Film Festival, won Best Video of The Year' at the MTV
Israel Music Awards and the video for 'She's So Untouchable' screened at
Raindance Film Festival in London. Recording through 2017 at their studio in
Tel Aviv, Garden City Movement took the time to explore their sound as a
band. From the combination of dream-like vocals and cinematic-RnB in singles
'Slightly All The Time' 'Before I Fall' and 'A Means To An End' to the
leftfield four-four of 'Mediterranea' and 'Sans Titre' or the ethereal jazz
of 'I Knew Before I Met Her (That One Day I Would Lose Her)' and worldly
influences of the title track - the heightened craft in their production is
firmly felt across the album's 18 tracks. After releasing three EPs, which
each had a very tight deadline, recording the album has been a chance to
grow. It's the first time we have been able to really take the time and
experiment a lot in the studio, try to develop and deepen our language, come
up with new sounds, and take our techniques even further'. - Garden City
Movement. The album takes a darker path lyrically, exploring the breakdown of
a fading relationship and the depression, loneliness and abuse that follows.
While not explicit, this melancholy grounds the album in the real world. The
fusion of forward facing production and confessional account of

experience of Trentem¢ller as a full-band. In much the same manner that
˜Lost™ built on from the somber cinematic classic that was ˜Into The Great
Wide Yonder™, ˜Fixion™ has embraced the Danish artist™s trademark melancholy
and matured it into something uniquely atmospheric and darkly romantic.
Rather than attempting to completely reinvent himself, Anders has used his
latest outing as an opportunity to highlight certain granular aspects of his
signature sound and refine them into a much more organic - and at times
perhaps more song-driven body of work. It™s a record that on first listen may
seem less detailed but, as you™ll know by now, with Trentem¢ller, one should
never be fooled by initial impressions. It™s the kind of record that will
over time repeatedly unlock new intricacies and offer the listener an
opportunity to understand the work differently upon each listen. The album is
still notably driven by the producer and multi-artist™s passion for
experimentation and effortlessly succeeds in transcending a swathe of

˜Fixion™ is awash with New Romantic strings, downplayed pop sensibilities and
percussion so cold that it might have been recorded on a reel-to-reel in a
dilapidated jet hanger. With its coldwave synths and hypnotic, driving bass
hooks, the record paints a picture of both reflective night drives through
˜Blade Runner™-esque metropolises and introspective, isolated Scandinavian
evenings spent pondering life itself - which makes a lot of sense, given
Anders crafted the record in Copenhagen and New York, after a year spent
relentless gigging in the US and Europe. Whilst Trentem¢ller may have evolved
into a complete band for touring purposes, the entirety of the music is still

This
limited vinyl-only and single-sided 12" gem of a jam by Tetzlaff, an
originally well-kept secret Rico Puestel project from 1995, had it coming for
over 20 years now... The mystical inscription "Angliziskuss"
appeared on the original audio tape cassette as well as the magnetic tape
that carried several drum machine and bass guitar recordings from the mid and
late 1990s until the early 2000s - totally forgotten until they emerged in
2011 when everything slowly started coming together. Angliziskuss is a
combination of the German word for "Anglicism" (vocabulary borrowed
from English from another language) and "kiss", like one language
kisses the other one throughout some kind of symbiotic and overriding act.
That initial naming gave a deeper meaning to the whole development of the
production and triggered the gathering of all creative amendments to the
track over the years that led to one final and closing addition to it about
seven years ago: The dynamic meeting of an infamous, emotionally charged
English vocal snippet and its more rational counterpoint German translation,
delivering a subtle tension overall and within. All embedded into one
charming housier journey of over 14 minutes, the ‚Angliziskussš establishes
an unique recipe of balearic-like piano playings, a disco-and-funk-styled
live bass guitar theme, both futuristic and nostalgic synth lines based on
one unadulterated 1980s drum machine foundation. Key selling points: -

The
actual first link-up between the US country legend Tony Joe White and the
Nuremberg based downbeat producer duo Boozoo Bajou happened in early 2003
when Warner Music US approached Boozoo Bajou with a free-pick to remix a
track from their huge back catalogue. They immediately went for the iconic
Tony Joe White classic ‚Rainy Night in Georgia› and gave this long-time
favourite their remix treatment. The personal positive feedback from Tony Joe
White himself for that remix was overwhelming and everybody was set to
continue. Up next was a warm 2004 summer night in Hamburg, Germany with the
actual location being the backstage area of the Fabrik Club. Tony Joe White
just left the stage after performing a breathtaking set looking back at his
longlasting career which started in the late sixties. After speaking on the
phone various times and exchanging ideas by email during the months before
this is the first ever meeting in person. For the next few entertaining hours
they enjoyed a few beers and the plan to work together was nailed down with
all involved people having a smile on their faces when they left. With ‚Keep
Going› the first outcome of their collaboration was going to see the light of
day on the Boozoo Bajou album ‚Dust My Broom› released in 2005 on !K7.
Afterwards it took a 16 years long break before the second part of their
joint recordings is going to appear on a limited edition 10inch Vinyl in July
2021. Originally recorded back in 2005 it is a re-lick of Tony Joe White™s
wonderful 1969 tune ‚Aspen Colorado› which was newly sung with additional
blues harp and guitar by the man himself on a soulful laidback Boozoo Bajou
beat. After the tragic death of Tony Joe White in October 2018 it was rather
vague if this was going to happen but with the grateful help of his son Jody
Boozoo Bajou can finally present this musical gem to the public. KEYFACTS: -

by Hunee, 'Sounds from the Far East' features highly sought after material by
legendary Japanese house producer Soichi Terada and fellow producers
Shinichiro Yokota, Manabu Nagayama! Soichi Terada is an adventurous
multitalent and over all a good sport. He was born in the sixties, and as a
child he loved to play on his fathers' electric organ. Terada majored in
Computer Science and Electric Organ and after he graduated, he founded his
Far East Recording in 1989, because he couldn't find a label for his
compositions at that time. The sound of Far East Recording is very much
inspired by early nineties US deep house. Soichi Terada went out to parties
in the late eighties, were he was equally influenced by house and hip-hop. A
few years later, Terada took on producing music by using digital sampling. In
the early nineties he occasionally DJ-ed with a DAT player and some reel
tapes, instead of using records and turntables. Sounds From The Far East
shines new light on Soichi Terada's label and consists of material that was
originally released in the early nineties. Next to Terada's music, Hunee also
selected a few tracks by fellow artist Shinichiro Yokota for this
compilation, as well as 'Sun Showered', a track based on the incredible
Paradise Garage gem called 'Sunshower', by Terada and Nami Shimada |

Grammy

and established British DJ and music producer, and is also one half of the
dance music production and remixing duo ‘Full Intention’ who have been at the
forefront of Dance music since the early 90s. He’s also known for his solo
hits ’The Weekend’ & ‘Borderline’ and recently ‘the Sun’. #2 Soul /Funk
/Disco Artist by Traxsource in 2019. Currently his latest remixes include
Louie Vega produced Anane - ‘Get on the Funk Train’ (Michael Gray & Mark
Knight Remix) which has recently gone to No. 1 on the overall traxsource
chart, Serious Intention - 'You don’t know’, Raze - Break for Love, Sylvester
- You make me feel (mighty real) Records) and his Sultra Remix of his single
’The Weekend’ (First played by Pete Tong on Radio 1) He has played for nights
such as Glitterbox at The Ministry of Sound, Hi Ibiza, Fabric, Downtown Disco
and recently for The Glitterbox Virtual festival. Kelli Sae is a New York
born and bred Performer, Singer, Songwriter, Actress, Composer, Comedian and
Playwright. Born of Puerto Rican and African descent, her music is a masala
of sounds, cultures and influences that drive her instincts. Kelli has worked
with Tina Turner, Paul Simon, Seal, Chaka Kahn, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie
and many more. Kelli is also a Principal Vocalist Monday night’s on ABC’s hit
Reality Television Show Dancing With The Stars. Other Television shows she’s
worked on are I Can See Your Voice, Rising Star and The Singing Bee |

Surgeon's
new full-length, Luminosity Device, takes Bardo Thödol the Tibetan Book of
the Dead as a starting point for a rhythmic journey into those interstitial
spaces where body, mind, and soul no longer seem like distinct categories. It

a collision with the otherworldly. * Since the 1990s, Anthony Child has been
one of the most consistent and pivotal electronic music producers to use that
craft as a tool for achieving transcendence. Under his aptly chosen DJ-ing
and production alias Surgeon, his technical precision and clarity of creative
vision have resulted in a highly influential form of techno-mesmerism
documented in exhaustive live sets and incisive studio recordings. His talent
for wielding beats and sonic textures as healing technologies and as magical
weapons simultaneously, and particularly for excelling in šlong-form›
treatments, has made him not only a key contributor to the legacies of
touchstone labels Tresor and Downwards, but also a prized collaborator (his
British Murder Boys duo with Regis has capitalized on both producers™ natural
intensity to devastating effect). * The pure techno idiom has never been his
sole method of exploring the vastness of inner space, or of illustrating the
interaction of thought and memory with the external environment: the work
published under his own name (e.g. the two-volume set Electronic Recordings
from Maui Jungle), along with newer collaborations like the Transcendence
Orchestra with Daniel Bean, have shown Child to have a masterful knowledge of
the intimate qualities of drone and atmospheric sound: the sound-scaping
talent utilized in these projects is capable of drawing out acute emotional

in Bergur's troubadour/trobairitz research (after Around the Songster's
Commune, 2022) and an exploration into/practicing of Bergur's own poetic and
melodic ability. It's a beautiful experiment in unifying and synthesizing
something of a conceptual nature with something autobiographical. Let's call
it bare, easy-feeling, domestic pop. 'Bare' naked -- and as in
not-too-much-production. 'Easy-feeling' because that's how it feels.

Ghost and Robert Armani resurrect their hugely popular turn-of-the-millennium
collaboration with the superb ‘Hit Hard Baby (WTF)’. A formidable duo when it
comes to churning out mind bending techno and hard-edged grooves, these guys
first got together in 2001 delivering the bouncy vibes of ‘Hard One’ followed
by ‘Airport’ and ‘Funk That’, all of which got included on a raft of
compilations and enjoyed by many around the world. Individually they are
accomplished in their own right. Ghost is an iconic figure in Belgium and a
stalwart within the Bonzai family. Robert Armani needs no introduction,
‘Circus Bells’, ‘Ambulance’, ‘Hit Hard’ anyone? Since the mid-eighties he’s
been right up there with DJ greats, and in 1992 he started releasing his own
brand of house, acid house and techno. Legend is an understatement when it
comes to both these guys and we’re delighted to see them back at it in the
studio once again. The release opens with ‘Hit Hard Baby (WTF)’, introing
with dark kick drums and raspy hi hats. Classic techno percussions weave
intricate patterns as tension mounts, taking us to the break where hypnotic
notes build alongside a snare roll to the drop and back to full-on dark mode
for the duration. ‘The Underground’ is up next, combining sick techno grooves
with massive rave stabs and murky acid lines. Powered by a solid drum
arrangement that packs a punch, this one is destined for peak time greatness.
The first of two versions of ‘H.O.H’ begins with the Original Mix. Keeping
with darker tones of the release, this one goes straight for the jugular as
chunky kicks and pulsating, mesmeric basses combine along with clangy
percussions and a classic vocal hook that will destroy the dancefloor.
Another legend joins us to round out the release with Jam El Mar stepping up
for remix duties on ‘H.O.H’. Hailed as a pioneer of trance alongside the late
great Mark Spoon, Jam El Mar remains a much-revered name on the scene and we
know amazing things happen when he’s let loose in the studio. Ramping up the
energy on this one Jame El Mar whips up a frenzy to get the crowd moving.
Heavy hitting kicks with layers of rhythmic percussions get the toes tapping
while gnarly techno basses and electrifying synths combine alongside that
instantly recognisable vocal. A monster tune that is not to be missed |
