The version of the Byrds that
played Amsterdam's prestigious Concertgebouw in July 1970 was very different
to previous incarnations. The Skip Battin & Gene Parsons rhythm section
was tight and allowed the guitars of Roger McGunn and Clarence White room to
roam, most noticeably on an extended Eight Miles High. Thoroughly
road/hardened, the band played material from throughout their entire career
and threw in some previously unreleased cover versions as well. Radio VPRO
broadcast the gig, the twelve tracks presented here have been chosen to

us for the highest quality treatment. This is the recording that got
Bulldozer signed with Roadrunner in 1984 and it sounds killer - different and
rawer versions of the classics that ended up on their slasher debut "The
Day of Wrath." Dark and demonic black&speed metal from the wildest
guts of Italy's 80s metal inferno, for all those who worship the early
releases of Venom, Bathory and Possessed< plus, the "Fallen
angel" session adds that Motörhead touch that makes this record an

Repress!
The story of Japanese psychedelic band Apryl Fool and their eponymous debut
album is simply extraordinary. It was the vehicle by which bassist Haroumi
Hosono first came to prominence, years before he became known as the
"Godfather of Japanese electronica" as the founding member and
leader of Yellow Magic Orchestra, though this musical titan had work released
prior to the group's 1968 founding, such as the song "The Sea Of Summer
Day," recorded with Yuko Okuyama and released by King Records the year
before. Drummer Takashi "Rei" Matsumoto was a Beatles maniac that
had covered songs by Them and Sam ^ Dave in his earlier group, Burns, while
pioneering prog-rock keyboardist Hiroyoshi Yanagida and guitarists Chu Kosaka
and Eiji Kikuchi had all been part of a group called The Floral, formed in
1967 through the Japanese wing of the official fan club of The Monkees (whom
they supported during a Japanese tour enacted in October 1968). In September
1969, Apryl Fool played behind musical theatre group Tokyo Kid Brothers, the
recording issued in minute quantity as the Love & amp Banana EP, issued
on Columbia Japan's Musicolor subsidiary, Apryl Fool's own LP, also issued on
Musicolor that year, had extended spacey psychedelic freak jams in the form
of "Tanger" and "Pledging My Time," marathon blues-rock
tracks such as "April Blues" and "Honky Tonk Jam," with
the employed English sounding fairly credible, though both parts of epic opus
"The Last Mother Land" feature Japanese lyrics. Of course, the day
that the LP was actually released is reportedly the day that Apryl Fool
announced their termination, giving this scarce release another level of
legend for connoisseurs |

remixes Radio Slave ft Cagedbaby ‘Amnesia’ The first remix package from Radio
Slave’s ‘Venti’ LP features a remix and instrumental from the Norwegian
artist. A key single in the run-up to Radio Slave’s ‘Venti’ LP, the
distinctly Balearic ‘Amnesia’ cut, which was the sound of Pikes in 2023, is
remixed by Norwegian nu-disco pioneer Lindstrøm following the LP’s release in
May. The original saw Matt Edwards team up with long-time collaborator
Cagedbaby, aka Tom Gandey, for a blissful sunset track that won support from
the likes of David Holmes, Sean Johnston, Jennifer Cardini, Peter Kruder and
Perel. On the ‘Amnesia’ remix package, Lindstrøm turns the downtempo
breakbeat in Radio Slave and Cagedbaby’s original into a more upbeat groove
with hints of 80s and 90s Euro-Dance in its piano breakdown and squelched-up
acid-drenched guitar bass. The Norwegian artist, known for his frequent
collabs with Prins Thomas and all-around superb nu-disco works, maintains the
original’s sultry vocal, neatly scrubbed off in the instrumental mix for

- The Abyss: Opening his debut EP for Curvature, Law jump straight in with an
intense, suspenseful aura which immediately surrounds The Abyss, with crunchy
Hot Pants breaks rolling us forward for the first act before a timely and
unexpected switch to heavy, punchy amens. With whooshing vocal hits colouring
the vibe as echoing piano keys provide delightful melodies throughout, The
Abyss is an impressively varied heavy hitter and a strong indicator of Law's
talents. A2 - False Awakening: Yearning atmospheric padwork introduces False
Awakening, a deep and compelling piece which utilises the Apache break to
great effect, with a myriad of filtered samples ducking and weaving around
the break. Female vocals set a sorrowful tone, delicately punctuating the
stirring atmosphere as the breakbeats shudder and dart with a suitably
wrought 808 bassline complementing the intensity of the track. AA1 - Six
Below: Law continues the strikingly atmospheric tones with Six Below, a track
with a distinctive organ melody sitting atop a backdrop of darkly FX and
deep, expansive pads which blanket the soundscape. For the breaks, we are
treated to a very danceable two-step pattern of old school drums, guaranteed
to move you and your audience while a subtle, deep bassline rumbles along
below. AA2 - Ascent: Closing the EP with a viscerally brooding and orchestral
vibe, Law utilises a wide array of production techniques with Ascent,
drizzled with menacing, echoed vocal hits, understated filtered melodies and
inspired female vocal samples. An exquisite collage of deceptively varied and
weighty breaks zip back and forth making this closing track something truly

We
are proud to present a 4-song EP of songs by the Italo Disco duo of Domenico
Ricchini and Joe Garrasco. Domenico formed his first rock band in 1974, and
four years later his first Disco band. During the early 80's he produced
records under various names like Delanua, Bob Salton and Sylvi Foster. In
1983 he took the alias Joe Yellow and started recording with the producers
Roberto Turatti and Miki Chieregato to release one of the biggest Italo Disco
singles "Lover To Lover". In 1985 he teamed up with Joe Garrasco, a
DJ at Free Club a Super Dancing Discotheque in Braone, Italy. Their first
composition together was another hit single for Joe Yellow, šI™m Your Lover›
released in 1986. In Spring 1986 the duo began working on a new song for a yet
unnamed side project. They spent a few days at 33 Studio in Milan and
recorded šLove Sex For Sale› with Jimmy Mc Foy on vocals. This project was
titled Garrasco™s and the single was released in 1986 on Fuori Di Testi.
Unsatisfied with the mix, they booked a fresh session at Regson Studio in
Milan to re-record the song. The result was re-naming the projecting Joe
Garrasco & M.M. (for the band Marita - Marillena) and the song as
šAction› released on Out Records in 1986. All four mixes display dark, driving
melodies with surging synthesizers that build to a climax for the chorus.
Jimmy sings back and forth between English and French about a finding love
after a night of dancing under the moon. Both instrumental mixes display more
adventurous electronic arrangements than their vocal counterparts. The Other
Mix of šLove Sex For Sale› employs a vocoder spoken introduction that sounds
like Vincent Price narrating a horror movie and showcases a female freestyle
rap by backup singers Lidia Salvetti and Cristina Scara. All songs have been
remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. Each
record comes in a full color sleeve featuring the original cover art from
both singles on the front and back plus a postcard with a photo and notes |

Wonderful
and intriguing quality Ambient experiments from Argentina on the Lapsus
label! There are albums that tap into the very heartbeats of rhythm, melody
and intricate sound design, pulsating with every musical note. This is the
case of "Septimo Sentido", the new album by Buenos Aires-based
producer Seph. Sebastian Galante aka Seph is no stranger to these realms;
with almost two decades of experience under his belt, he has established
himself as one of the leading talents in the Argentina techno scene and as
one of the most intriguing minds in alternative Latin American electronic
music. His productions have found a home in cutting edge labels such as
Insurgentes -a platform led by the DJ and producer from Medellin (Colombia)
Verraco, and sister label of TraTraTrax, which has reduced gaps between the
Latin electronic scene and the rest of the globe- or his own label Aula Magna
Records. He has also fostered collaborations, among which stands out his
project Oscean alongside Andres Zacco, a project that was recently released
on the legendary Berlin label Tresor. In his new album "Septimo
Sentido", Seph exhibits superlative production skills and masterfully
showcases the widest palette of the braindance sound, that intersection where
countless genres and sub-styles can coexist. Here we hear echoes from the
mid-90s that revive undeniable references of early IDM; but with a renewed
form, under a fiercely contemporary new skin. At the core of this intriguing
album, we find an artist whose devotion to experimentation takes his rhythmic
and melodic obsessions through vibrant magical-techno-urban landscapes, where
radiant colors and mutating forms collide in a bold and imaginative sonic

Valley is back with a tape that dives deeply into the musical underground of
Lusatia, an area not far away from the label's home base Dresden. Expect
analogue extravaganza with a punk attitude by two mysterious artists from the
region of the Slavic sorbs. During the slow building odyssey that is LIVE IN
NOCHTEN, it creaks and groans like the wind that shakes the giant F60
overburden conveyor bridge in the Lusatian coalfields. For this jam, the
elusive figure that goes by the name of Luzyca Bambaataa and usually hides in
the back room of a hair salon, has wired together countless worn-out
synthesizers and recorded a soundtrack to the surroundings. But others claim,
that Luzyca Bambaataa is the street name of a complex character who fully
immersed into some gear that a youth center in Hoyerswerda acquired with
left-over EU fundings. After the cassette has been turned, things get even
more serious with Graef's first outing of his electronic alter ego. The four
killer tracks range from the dance floor anthem GAIVAL via the almost cosmic
ghost song HAUNTING VOYAGE and the brutal drum heavy monster R0GU3 D3L4M41N

After
new releases by Alexander Johansson & Mattias Fridell in April and
Vinicius Honorio in May, James Ruskin welcomes back Kr!z with his third EP
for Blueprint. Kr!z has been at the forefront of techno for more than a
decade. Influenced by the hypnotic and energetic sound helmed by veterans
such as Jeff Mills, Steve Rachmad and James Ruskin, he gradually but steadily
developed his own identity in the international techno scene. After making a
name for himself as a skilled DJ in home country Belgium and the Netherlands,
Kr!z launched Token Records in 2007. It has since been a leading outlet for
heady, purist sounds. He rapidly established the label as a fixed value with
a timeless and powerful sound and took it around the world with label nights
on every continent. After 12 years spent assiduously focused on curating the
Token discography, showcasing artists he has nurtured and supported over this
time, 2019 saw the release of his long awaited debut EP on Token.
"Mantra" received high acclaim by both media and the scene's key
DJs. This continued in 2020, when he released the track "Scorpion's
Tail" on Voltage Imprint and "Malice" & "Imperative
Needs" as part of a split EP with Pfirter on his MindTrip label. 2022
was his most prolific year to date with three full EPs seeing the light of
day: "Neutrino EP" on James Ruskin's Blueprint Records, "The
Tunnel" on Setaoc Mass' SK_eleven and "Atlantis" on his Token.
In 2023 he released a follow up on Blueprint "Revelation", a split
EP with Steve Rachmad on Reclaim Your City and "Marbles" on Token.
Now, the Belgian DJ and producer returns to Blueprint with a new 4-tracker
this summer, entitled "Horo EP". |

unceremoniously, except for the required ambient introduction. Throughout the
sound journey that involves the continuous listening to the album, the
listener is immersed in a complete experience on the dance floor, with the
correct doses of mentalism and physical exercise that are required to develop
the activity at the highest level. As is tradition in Oscar Mulero's
productions, there is a strong classical content, which draws on the original

this sacred secularism of mine, in this exodus from myself, I finally
recognize the truth: there is no difference between us and them. Everything

“It’s
just too easy to make a standard dance track,” Aphex Twin said of his mindset
back in 1992. “You’ve got to put a bit of thought into it to get something a
bit different.” ‘Didgeridoo’ was released on the Belgian R&S Records
label in 1992, and originally peaked at #55 in the UK singles chart in May of
that year. Over the last 32 years the track has become one of the essential
Aphex Twin tracks in a gargantuan catalogue that continues to amaze and
inspire. “I wanted to have some tracks to play to finish the raves I used to
play in Cornwall, to really kill everybody off so they couldn’t dance,”
Richard D James, AKA Aphex, told Select magazine back in the 90s. “Digeridoo
came out of that.” Released as a 4 track EP that also included early Aphex productions
(now classics) including the industrial, acidic clang of ‘Flap Head’ and
hyperbolic futurism of ‘Isopropanol’, the release cemented a relationship
with the R&S label that went on to release the ‘Xylem Tube’ EP and the
pivotal album ‘Selected Ambient Works 85-92’ in the same year. The label’s
owner & A&R Renaat Vandepapeliere reflected “When I first heard Aphex
Twin’s music I said, ‘This is it!’, and everybody else said, ‘You’re crazy!’
…a lot of the hardcore R&S fans dropped us. To them it wasn’t music.”
‘Didgeridoo’ (Expanded Edition) is the first time the EP has been re-issued
with extra material. Whilst digging in his DAT archive (allegedly stored in
an airtight military ammo box), Richard James revisited the recordings, encoding
them through a Nakamichi CR7e cassette deck, using the customised deck with
vari-speed to encode at speeds “felt right at the time”. Alongside these CR7e
versions, the original mixes have been remastered by Beau Thomas at Ten Eight
Seven Mastering, offering a dilated insight into one of electronic music’s

Two in the Electro Sampler Series of Nijmegen's finest Shipwrec. Another
compelling electro V/A with tracks by Konerytmi and Ian Martin, amongst
others. SES1 set out what quality electro means for Shipwrec. The first in
the series brought together six musicians from far and wide, musicians who
journey through the colder edge of their analogue instruments with a clear
ear for the floor. SES2 starts where its predecessor left off. The genre
bending Ian Martin opens with the frigid funk of "Metaphysical
Travellers." Stripped back, the track is bare in terms of its elements.
Despite such meagre ingredients, Martin concocts an engaging and rich work of
darkened grooves and sinister undercurrents. o-0._.0-o is the playful
pseudonym of acid freetekno enthusiast Owen. His contribution,
"Acidrobotik", releases a free and wandering 303 lines that forges
a bubbling path through crisp percussion. The flip brings an artist better
known for his work in techno. Cliche Morph delves into the clinical side of
his palette and emerges with the stunning "Placebo." Balancing
alienated and arctic blasts with a thawing warmth, the outcome is pure
classic electro. A rising star of machine music follows, Fleck E.S.C. A dirty
bassline is further sullied by layers of gritty distortion and glitched
vocals in this re-wired work of ghetto. A legend of electronics closes,
Kirill Junolainen. Under his lauded Konerytmi moniker, this synthesiser
shapeshifter delivers "Kuva Alkio." Stuttering bass and tight drums
are the foundation from which sci-fi inspirations take hold, sailing strings
tethered by a terse snare as SES2 is brought to a triumphal close |

CURATED 001 - DHAEUR- Chami presents DHAEUR. Chami and DHAEUR step up for the
first release on DIG Curated, the sub label of Dust in Grooves (DIG), a
pioneering force in the world of vinyl techno, born in Berlin. This passion
project, launched by Olivia Mendez and Chami, spotlights emerging artists who
embody the essence of the imprint's signature style--sophisticated, timeless,
and groovy. With each release, a new talent is endorsed by a seasoned digger
from the scene, aiming to push forward undiscovered sounds and empower the
community. After years of refining his palette as a dedicated DJ and
acoustics master, the Italian-born, Berlin-based DHAEUR. has developed his
distinct creative vision rooted in sound quality and stylistic research. At
the time of crossing paths with Chami, DHAEUR had already produced a handful
of immersive tracks, exploring unknown territories while keeping things
minimalistic, giving DJs the freedom to construct their preferred sonic
environments. Four of these tracks are pressed on DIG Curated 001, marking
the beginning of a chapter for the sub-label that brings forth the future
sound of techno. The opening track of the release SUBJECT ZERO is a
cinematic, mental, elegant journey, playing with the perception of built up
anticipation. This boundless, loopy soundscape is designed to induce inner
quests on the dancefloor and is a grand point of departure to unknown
adventures ahead. This interlude of primordial grooves sets the scene for a
voyage through a not-so-distant world where dystopian visions and technology
merge with hypnotic synths. Evoking human emotions and desires is the hot and
groovy track MIN(E)D, with vocals that could be from a female replicant
building her own sonic web3 through the soundsystem of a steamy dancefloor.
On the B side, things quickly gain power and intensity, with STEPS racing
through pounding beats, enigmatic pads, and unpredictable claps, only tamed
by DHAEUR's impeccable acoustic design. The EP closes with the cryptic,
mechanical sounds of HEX 1904d1, deconstructing old patterns and programming
a new form of evolved consciousness--inspired by precision and a reverence

Architecture are pleased to announce the fourth in their 'Architecture Dubs'
series of limited edition 10" vinyl releases, which sees some of the
most revered names active during the mid 90s golden era of Drum & Bass
deliver remixes of Suburban Architecture material in homage to that most
innovative of periods. ollowing on from the now sold out release of
Architecture Dub #001 (featuring remixes from Peshay and DJ Trax), #002
(featuring Blame and DJ Trace), and #003 (featuring Nookie and DJ Crystl),
edition #004 enlists two further legendary names to put their stamp on the
duo's material. Ray Keith is a DJ and producer who requires little
introduction. From his beginnings in the Acid House scene of the late 80s
through to the present day via Hardcore and, of course, Jungle, Ray's output
has been a steady presence in UK dance music for over 3 decades. From manning
the counters of legendary record stores including London's infamous Black
Market Records to masterminding bonafide dancefloor hits such as 'Terrorist'
and 'Dark Soldier', Ray has touched every corner of the scene. For this
remix, Ray brings some of his trademark Dread flavour to 'The Drifter'
injecting some tough Amen and Bassline energy to the track. DJ Harmony is
another DJ who cut his teeth behind the counters of some of the scene's
pivotal record stores, having worked in Lucky Spin and Section 5, while
releasing music on some of the most important imprints in the genre, notably
including Moving Shadow. Today Harmony is best known as the driving force
behind the brilliant Deep Jungle imprint which delivers classic, new and
unreleased music from Jungle's heaviest hitters. Recent releases have come
from names including Adam F, Dilinja, DJ Trace and, naturally, Harmony himself.
Harmony's remix of 'The Believer' takes cues from classic Jungle with a half
time break down, giving way to a smashing Amen workout accompanied by the
rousing vocal refrain of the original. Pressed on 10" vinyl and housed
in brown Kraft paper sleeves, the series makes visual reference to the
exclusive dubplate pressings which introduced so many classic cuts to the
UK's dancefloors in the 90s |
