Vancouver-based, Chains of Love's sun-soaked romantic pop is injected with

released in The Netherlands in 1990 on a long out of print - and now $150+ on
eBay - 2LP, Mirumir is pleased to present this collection of classic Artemiev
film scores as two separate and single 180 gram LPs in what are, in our humble
opinion, far more beautiful and breathtaking covers with better sound quality
than the original. Recorded in Moscow in 1989-90, these are re-recordings of
Artemiev's soundtracks to three classic 1970s Tarkovsky films. At the time of
its release in 1990, there were no legitimately available versions of the
original soundtracks and Artemiev chose to fill that void in the market with
these re-recordings. With these two LPs and the recent reissue of the Solaris
soundtrack MIR100705, and the forthcoming Mirror/Stalker original remastered
soundtrack, all officially licensed from the artist himself, Mirumir is now
home to the definitive collection of electronic pioneer Artemiev's most

There was a seismic shift in the
European punk scene when Californian Mike Sobieski and Norah Findlay selected
the Basque phenomenon Kike Turmix as their frontman in 1987. Madrid was the
place to be, and with the addition of the British bass player Barnaby Bowles
and later Spanish Angel Ramos, The Pleasure Fuckers crafted a singular sound,
grabbing punk and doing rock while simultaneously grabbing rock and doing
punk. In 1988, Simple Needs was the first of a long succession of singles,
EPs, LPs, videos, soundtracks, and documentaries, and the band was known from
Helsinki to Peru and Prague to Seattle. Kike left our world in 2005. Dietmar
Post, one of The Pleasure Fuckers first fans and now of Play Loud! and Kike's
widow Marga Gaffaro compile Malasa;a Republic, an incredibly cohesive
collection of unedited, early and live recordings |

intros that loop makers drool for. Weird synth noodles and chipmunk chorus

It's our great pleasure to
welcome Spanish duo NX1 back onto the label following their Earwiggle debut
in 2019. Much has changed in the world since then but in the world of NX1,
Samot and Surit's commitment to tense sonic combat remains resolute. The "Shaked
Ear" EP is some of their most accomplished work to date, and a fresh
follow-up to their recent debut album on Nexe Records. Raw acid lines,
earth-shaking bleeps, fizzing distortion, murky vocals and a melange of
sweeping kick patterns are just some of the key ingredients on display over
this crushing 5-tracker. Once again finding a unique place within hard-edged

Shlomi
Aber & Kashpitzky join forces once again to make their Blueprint Records

EP". Barcelona-based Shlomi Aber brings over two decades of production
and DJing experience to his music, drawing inspiration from Jazz, Funk, Acid

The lazy funk of A Ship In The
Skys plump bassline doesnt quite suggest what’s to come; that being dreamy,
atmospheric tech house of the highest order. A masterful use of space, FX and
texture runs through the track, subtle, heady melodies laced with warm,
intricate percussion and deft soundscapes. The unexpected twists and turns in
Ferreyras genius arrangement make for a constantly engaging ride during which

talent Meera makes her Crosstown Rebelsdebut with the atmospheric ‘Stikk’.
Landing on 30th August, the EP sees the young artist flex her production
prowess with remixes from Dennis Cruz and Tripolism. Riding the success of
her debut single ‘Music For Humans’ in 2023, Norway’s Meera was swiftly
recruited by Damian Lazarus, joining him at his Hï Ibiza residency before
heading to Rebellion for the release of the resonant ‘Teflon’. The
sought-after artist has shown no signs of slowing, releasing a series of
remixes this year amongst European shows, festival appearances, and Ibiza pit
stops. Continuing this momentum, she now makes her label debut on Lazarus’
renowned Crosstown Rebels with ‘Stikk’, with imprint regular Dennis Cruz
joining on remix duties alongside melodic Danish trio and former
collaborators Tripolism, who also make their first outing on Crosstown.
Landing in realms of afro-house, Meera’s production is cool, confident, and
creative. With eclectic influences audible throughout her standout sound, her
‘Stikk’ EP proves why she first garnered the attention of artists such as
Jimi Jules and John Digweed. The title track leads with minimal climbing
percussion, introspective piano melodies and delicate, dreamlike vocals. In
contrast, Tripolism’s remix turns up the intensity to a biting crescendo,
adding sharp synths for a more dancefloor-focused feeling. ‘Sykkelkurv’
reaches for higher planes of emotion with its atmospheric soundscape, moody
chords and driving drums, toeing the line between light and dark. Next,

A Broken Clock Is Right Twice A
Day EP is comprised of 7 tracks recorded in Kazan and Moscow during various
sessions. Some of them go back as early as 2014 and everything is composed on
two 8-track samplers. Alina Izolenta and Kamil Ea were born in the USSR, so
the origin of the acronym PTU is embedded in everyday life of a country,
which no longer exists. The duo spent their childhood in Siberia and on
Volga, and their salad days in music schools and early clubs of their
respective home cities. Back then accessing the Internet was only possible
via pre-paid cards that came in envelopes. Music — via pirate CDs and
endlessly slow mp3 downloads. Friendships would stem from copying music from
hard drive to hard drive. The name PTU came to life in the middle of 00s, in
a rented apartment, literally the last building in some street on the
outskirts, over impromptu synth sessions with friends |

This
March will see the release of 'Fringe In The Box #1', a project born out of
the Fringe stage at Torino's Jazz Festival. The first in a series of vinyl
releases sees input from Hugo, TBoy, Andrea Ferlin and Brandumize featured.
The people behind the project tell us FRINGE is 'Fringe In The Box is the
newest feature of the 2013 Torino Jazz Festival. The Box is curated by the
musicians, producers and Turin-based DJ's, Ugo Basile and Francesco Pistoi in
conjunction with the artistic curator of FRINGE Furio di Castri, the concept
stems from the desire to chart a new path of interaction and exchange between
the world of jazz and that of electronic music'. The pieces featured on this
record are produced using samples of the live instrumental recordings made by
renowned jazz musicians in Turin, which is at the heart of the project. These
recordings were then sent to the aforementioned producers who then created
the resultant intriguing material by deconstructing, modifying and
reassembling the pieces. Opening the 'Fringe In The Box #1' is the
heart-wrenching ambient soundscapes of 'Take 1' by Brandumize, who skillfully
blends soft, cosseting pads with glitching electronic noises and rumbling sub
bass. While shimmering sax licks subtly flutter around the foundations, and
lo-fi broken rhythms instill a further intelligent and forward thinking
appeal to the composition. Following we have Trapez / Contexterrior artist,
Andrea Ferlin's 'Take 2', as expected from such a proficient and talented
producer, Ferlin delivers a raw stripped-back workout fuelled by organic
Tabla rhythms, bulbous sub-bass tones, and modulating synthesized
atmospherics. Again creating something refreshing to listen to and
sparklingly unique as the record gradually unfolds over nine minutes
brilliantly. Then we have Hugo's 'Take 3' on the B-Side, which steps things
up a notch with a more upfront feel, bringing rolling organic percussion to
the forefront alongside funk guitar licks, dubby echoes, improv saxophone
recordings and sweeping synth chords. Giving off an almost dissonant vibe yet
so intricately constructed to do so that it again makes for an undeniably
invigorating listen. And last up to close the record is TBoy's 'Take 4', the
Hot Waves producer puts his contemporary spin on things by cleverly chopping
up finite snippets of the recordings and remodeling the chops into a modern,
low-slung house number embodying a raw beauty, yet maintaining a rugged dance
floor appeal |

from his anticipated forthcoming rework album, ‘Colours Revisited’ Legendary
drum ‘n’ bass producer Adam F announces the ‘Music In My Mind Revisited
Reboots’ EP, out digitally on 20th September via 181 Recordings, featuring
reworks of his acclaimed 1997 track by DJ Marky & Makoto and Nookie.
Further launching this underground dance classic into new dimensions is
Brazil’s DJ Marky and expertly selected Japanese producer Makoto. Together,
they effortlessly bring the jazz-infused track to the attention of today’s
ravers with re-jigged, amplified drums. Certified 90s jungle veteran Nookie
goes more liquid with his version, heightening the vibes and setting the
scene with immense violin strings. ‘Music In My Mind’ was originally featured

“Reflex”
is Gábor Lázár’s debut album on raster. His new record is a collection of
seven tracks, featuring an extended sound palette of percussions and
synthesizers drawing our attention towards the essential soundscapes of
techno while maintaining his distinct, uncompromising and meticulously
detailed style. While the tracks do not follow traditional narratives, the
album has an evolution: it gently builds up from challenging, unpredictable,
and organically composed structures to linear yet playful forms of

creative process and reconnect with the core reasons why he started making
music. We can definitely state that this EP reflects his growth as an artist
and captures the essence of his musical journey. Tracks like 'Got Me Trippin'
and 'Back In Time' will captivate the dancefloor, enveloping listeners with
its infectious rhythms and dynamic four-by-four energy. The songs are devoted
to his existing fan base and avid club-goers, creating an atmosphere that
begs for movement and celebration. But Ricky doesn't limit his magic to the

Italy's Francesco Argentieri

repress - Back by high demand is Cologne's house connoisseur DJOKO with his
third Shall Not Fade release - a feel-good 4-tracker which occupies the most
uplifting intersection of piano house, cosmic disco and funk. Following the
highly-acclaimed 2-step-infused Hooked EP and the deeper, more bass-driven
Ventura EP which followed, DJOKO further flaunts his expansive versatility on
his latest release. Setting the tone is the title track's sunny pads which
lead us to a long build up before an ecstatic climax - a true floor-filler.
Next up "Take Me Back" is truly unique, with the dynamism of bongos
and a hi-frequency melody that sounds as though it's come straight from
Yellow Magic Orchestra's synths, constituting just one element of the track's
luxurious and richly-layered cosmic soundscape. "Odyssey" continues
in the same extraterrestrial vein, this time adding euphoric piano chords and
poppy vocals into the mix. Finally, "Lost in Time" eases the EP to
a close as full-bodied pads are swapped out to make way for a funk-infused
bassline and the teasing of vocals which whisper sutrily underneath classy
piano tinkles |
