DDT was probably the earliest
HC&punk band in Atlanta, Georgia. Nobody was playing hardcore down there
before DDT showed up on the scene. A year or two later another band showed up
*Neon Christ( and the two bands played many times together. The band had in
its lineup Rik Barr formerly of THE STATE from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Greg
Psomas of the legendary New York City punk band Ism. This is their self
produced 7" from 1983. You don't see this one in the wild, but if you
did it would cost you a lot of money. 5 songs here. From the ultra melodic
Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, to quick hardcore burst like Girls, Girls, Girls
and Brave New World, to post punkish/no waveish I'm Walking The Psychopath
and The End that brings in mind bands like Flipper, No Trend or
Tuxedomoon. The reissue comes with a 6 page insert with lyrics, band history,
photos and flyers |

SCANDAL is a street-punk band
hailing from South London, UK and formed in 1998 with deep roots in the
Romanian punk scene. SCANDAL quickly became one of the most celebrated bands
in the Romanian underground, known for their working-class anthems and energetic
live shows. Their sing-along choruses, often centered on punk life, drinking,
and camaraderie, became legendary with the infamous ant-/police |

OH TELEPHONE, on the other hand,
is the real shit, garage/psych like no other band currently plays. Their
screams never seem calculated but rather like a spontaneous outburst of
passion, their guitars pierce every eardrum with a few effect devices standing
around, it's not shoegaze that's being practiced, but rather tap dancing.
Watch out! Celebrate! |

In
1967, in the midst of Franco's dictatorship, a group of seminarians created a
rock band: Enarak. Faced with a society that found these rhythms strange,
they had the courage to play blues, psychedelia and progressive rock in
Basque. In 1969 they recorded an album with three songs and, over the next
four years, they gave hundreds of concerts all over the Basque Country. The
last one, in Larraitz, in the shadow of Mount Txindoki, on 31 October 1971.
On a cold, misty night lit by a full moon, they brought together some 5,000
young people with the intention of enjoying modern music. After that night,
they disappeared forever. Their only traces are the three songs you will find
on this album. With the aim of recovering and making the history of the group
known, the Bira Produkzioak cooperative has produced a documentary entitled
'Enarak'. Using the power of cinema for social transformation, we are
organising a concert on 21 May 2023. Again in Larraitz, Amorante, Rüdiger and
Liher covered the three songs of Enarak. This is not just an album or a
concert in the usual way. It is an exorcism, a ritual for the resurrection of
Enarak, a historical piece and, at the same time, an object of memory that
encapsulates the soul of the group |

Originals of this record - his
first ever release, and from 1966 - are so rare that none of our Turkish pals
have ever seen a copy, and believe us, they've been on the hunt! "Moda
& Firtina" is the platter from his early years as a teenage rock'n'roller,
and these two tracks each offer a compelling listen and demand motion. While
mostly drenched in the twang of his custom built guitar with relentlessly
swinging beats, his budding experimentation with electronics steals the show.
Imagine the sought-after "Countdown!" LP by legendary session man
Jimmy Haskell with an Anatolian lean during the peak of modernism and you're
starting to get the point |

This collection of live tracks
gives those of us who weren't there during those halcyon days of psychedelia,
a taste of just what lofty heights (and hellish depths) the Elevators were
capable of reaching. The performances are taken from three sources: "Roller
Coaster", "You're Gonna Miss Me" and "Tried to Hide"
from a rockin' appearance on a local Dallas / Ft. Worth television show in
the spring of 1966, "Don't Fall Down", "Kingdom Of
Heaven", "She Lives In A Time of Her Own" and "I've Got
Levitation" from a notoriously shambolic gig in Houston in 1967, and the
remaining eight tracks from a series of stellar performances at San
Francisco's Avalon Ballroom in autumn of 1966 |

SEVEN releases their second EP
from label co-founderCRYME, titled Reality Rush. This EP blends
classic, atmospheric house with a modern mix. A1 - Reality Rush is an upbeat
house track with playful sounddesign, classic drums, steady rhythm, and a
powerful bassline. It sets an energetic foundation for the EP, inviting
listeners toexplore SEVEN's distinct sound, balancing house and techno. A2 -
Christoph Faust's remix of Reality Rush is inspired byDetroit. It features a
heavier kick, slower tempo, and a moresluggish vibe. He retained the big
synth stabs, reversed thevocals, and added familiar old school vocal samples.
B1 - Aurora is a stripped back to basics. It has a soothing, laid-back vibe
with percussion-driven beats and prominent congas,perfect for a late-night
ride through the city. B2 - Orbit Exp. is a groovy house track features
ever-changing,pulsating pads that create and release tension, giving
theillusion of drifting away in space |

of Volcanoes and the Moon" sounds as big as its title. Frantic vocal
loops, deep dub stabs, fast paced strings and funky basslines, sky is the
limit! DJ AGITATED delivers beautiful techno for the soul yet again |

"Has there ever been music
that so much represents the fact that electronic sound exists between the
dead and the living?" - by Chihei Hatakeyama. The ultimate improbient
that pursues the original human way of dealing with sound, imagining the very
sounds that emerged from people's activities long ago. This is the first
vinyl release of a 2007 masterpiece by KEN IKEDA, known for his
collaborations with computer music pioneer CARL STONE, DAVID TOOP a leading
figure in the British experimental music scene, and Japanese jazz saxophonist
AKIRA SAKATA. KEN IKEDA is a musician and artist who emits primitive and
original electronic sounds, known for "DAM," a collaboration with
CARL STONE, recorded inside a huge dam approximately 40 meters high and deep,
and works on the label "ROOM40" run by Australian composer LAWRENCE
ENGLISH. Remastered by Chihei Hatakeyama, a leading figure in the ambient to
drone scene |

Fresh off the back of his
Glitterbox remix of CamelPhat & Elderbrook’s hit ‘Cola’, Mousse T. drops
his first original release on the Glitterbox label, showing off the depth of
his production skills in this sparkling genre-binding track ‘Rock The Mic’.
Mousse T. enlists the help of artist TAZ, the man who became the first UK
rapper to sign to hip hop mecca Def Jam, also earning a prestigious Ivor
Novello award nomination for his writing skills. ‘Rock The Mic’ reunites
Mousse with American song writer Inaya Day, best known for her unforgettable
vocals on the German producer’s biggest record, ‘Horny’. The catchy hook and
toe-tapping groove of intertwine perfectly over smooth strings to make this
an irresistible record. The killer collaboration combines hip hop with disco,
giving us the best of both worlds. ‘Rock The Mic’ lives up to the hype,
delivering six minutes of bliss alongside a percussive remix courtesy of Kon.
Kon’s Accapella and Instrumental versions round off this full rocking package |

Every once in a while a record
comes along which is a little bit special, a record which stands the test of
time, bringing the same reaction to the dancefloor now as it did all those
years ago; ‘Don’t You Want My Love’ is one of those records. Four decades
after its original release in 1979, the record has become a favourite with
the Glitterbox crowds. Following on from the label’s release of the original,
Glitterbox now presents a special remix package that features Joe Claussell’s
1986 Reel To Reel Edit - a disco extravaganza of a mix - and Cratebug’s
house-infused and funk-laden More Love Remix |

on blue marbled vinyl in printed inner sleeve. VENTILATEUR is an instrumental
project combining sounds from the vivid worlds of contemporary jazz and
postpunk. The three-piece band, consisting of Iben Stalpaert on drums, Jasper
Hollevoet on bass and Daan Soenens on guitar, uses angular rhythms and
flowing melodies to construct compositions that embody both contrast and
cohesion. Originally from Bruges, the band currently has Ghent as its
homebase. The trio released its self-titled debut EP on 22 March 2019.
VENTILATEUR won awards at Fresh Fish, Red Rock Rally and Burgrock that same
year and was one of the laureates of the then brand new Sound Track. Thanks
to Sound Track 2020, the band received a residency at Het Entrepot in Bruges
and a year of professional coaching from VI.BE and other national players in
the music landscape. In 2020, VENTILATEUR joined forces with young Ghent
theatre collective Camping Sunset for the performance Happiness. The band
composed the soundtrack for the play and also performed it live during the
five-week run of the production. The music was subsequently recorded and
released under the title A Soundtrack For Happiness at the Brussels label
Sentimental. In 2022, VENTILATEUR released its first full-length album with
W.E.R.F. Records. Hoofdplaat, titled after the village near the manor house
that served as its recording location, is the result of a long process of
purification. VENTILATEUR presents the essence of their sound, stripped from
all ballast. VENTILATEUR balances on the border between the ‘niche’ world of
instrumental jazz and the accessible world of the pop-rock circuit. From this
position, the band aims to bring instrumental music to a wider audience.
Apart from being purely intrinsically artistic, the trio's ambition is to
excite a new audience for cultural participation and specifically the rich
genre of jazz. Through their choice of accessibility within the experimental,
the band aims to form a bridge between a wider audience and a musical world
still too often labelled as ‘niche’. The musicians not only focus on the club
and festival circuit, but have already written soundtracks for some short
film projects and are also reaching out to the theatre world. In its early
years, VENTILATEUR was mainly known within the Flemish arts landscape on the
Bruges-Ghent-Brussels axis. A soundtrack for Happiness and Hoofdplaat
introduced VENTILATEUR to a new audience. Songs from the albums got airtime
from Radio 1, Klara and other stations, and singles appeared in national
playlists. The band’s music was also picked up by VRT, which used the single
Nectar during several programs. In 2023, the band scored their biggest gig
yet: Ghent Jazz on a podium curated by their label, W.E.R.F. Records.
VENTILATEUR as a project can count on the support of organisations such as
W.E.R.F. Records, Cactus Music Centre, Het Entrepot and VI.BE. The band also
has close ties with theatre companies such as Camping Sunset, Compagnie
Cecilia and Ontroerend Goed and, of course, numerous connections within the
Flemish and Brussels music scene. LIVE: 29/01 : CC, Hasselt / 26/03 : Cactus

Rich Oddie (Orphx) and Dave
Foster (Huren/Teste) reunite for their electronic-industrial punk project,
O/H. NO CONTACT LP - is a live compilation that captures the raw energy of
their performances between 2011 and 2019. This intense anthology distills the
essence of their sound: noise driven electronic power, relentless rhythms,
and obsessive vocals. For the first time, this fury is preserved on a double
vinyl with a special edition. Fosters gritty vocals clash with Oddies dark
sound manipulations, reflecting a world on the edge of collapse a bleak view
of modern civilization embodied in their uncompromising music. Let's dive
into the third act of the KR3 Fifth Anniversary celebration |

It
took a village to create Le Motel's Odd Numbers / So Le. Beneath its pulsing,
shimmering tones, the record is alive with the sounds of everyday
life--purring mopeds, idle whistling, the din of kitchens and whisper of
rain, voices joyful and contemplative, scenes of bustling cities and domestic
intimacy. Le Motel--who runs the Brussels-based record label Maloca--gathered
sounds, photographs, and videos while traveling in Vietnam in 2023. From
Hanoi he ventured to Hmong communities in the mountains near the border with
China, building out a network of contacts gathered from friends and friends
of friends. But Odd Numbers / So Le--which takes its title from traditional
Vietnamese numerological beliefs and customs--is wholly unlike the extractive
product typical of exploitative modes of Western tourism; the album's final
shape was deeply dependent upon the participation of the people the artist
met in Vietnam. Back in Brussels after his travels, as Le Motel began working
with his materials, he sent early drafts to his contacts, inviting their
input. This back-and-forth eventually yielded a dynamic collective effort in
which nine of the album's 15 tracks feature multiple composer credits. Among
the album's diverse collaborators are Yvonne Quynh-Lan Duon, an educator and
ethnomusicologist; Chi Chi, the daughter of a Hmong shaman; and Phapxa Chan,
who contributes three poems inspired by landscape and Le Motel's own music
(and, in one case, psychedelics). The result is an album that is not about
making sound, broadcasting it as a one-way communication, but instead about
the empathic practice of listening--about listening as an integral and even
ethical part of musical creation, even (especially!) when that music is
created on a computer, rather than conjured by a group of players sharing
space in real time. It's an album that adopts many of the traditional
trappings of ambient music while reminding us of the importance of
intentional modes of creation. Brian Eno famously said that ambient music
must be as ignorable as it is interesting, but Le Motel's Odd Numbers / So Le
suggests, to the contrary, the richness of experience available to us should
we make the effort to open our ears |

Agonis
debut album Neutropia gets a high profile and well deserved remix treatment.
Originally released in 2021 on his own co-founded amenthia recordings, the
album was a strong statement in terms of sound. Formerly known for his
excellent deep and incantatory techno, Neutropia opened the door to show more
of his far reaching musical interests. It became a vital document of genre
bending electronics, fusing half paced drum & bass, rolling amen breaks,
forceful frequencies, dreamlike trip-hop and futuristic techno all together.
For Neutropia Remixed the sound palette even got wider. Four artists that are
highly appreciated by the amenthia camp were asked to rework their track of
choice and make it their own. Carrier drops the pace of 'Thermo' and adds a
brilliant touch of his stripped down half-time rhythm excellence. Christina
Vantzou continues to build on the powerful frequencies that were present at
the full original album with a mesmerizing drone trip. Amsterdam resident
upsammy adds her glistering dynamics to the dark 'Algoflash' and Felix K does
what he does best.. The Hidden Hawaii/Nullpunkt originator turns the rolling
'Pyrchid' into a heady drum work out |

‘Never
exhale’ is the sound of a band that hasn’t stopped for a breath. DITZ have
toured relentlessly since the release of their first album ‘The Great
Regression’. The songs that form their newest offering were written across
Europe, often on off days and in borrowed rehearsal rooms. It could be said
that the band treat recording and release of music as an afterthought. Often
playing songs live years before their release, tweaking them as they go. The
songs on the final record may change before they are ever heard as part of
the album. ‘Never Exhale’ was largely recorded at Holy Mountain studios in
London during a freezing cold January. The process was frought with
obstacles, the original plan, to go and record in Rhode Island, was abandoned
when DITZ were offered a support tour with IDLES, although the album was
still mixed by the originally intended engineer, Seth Manchester
(Model/Actriz, Lingua Ignota, Big Brave). The result is an album hardened by
the pressure of its own making. Laboured but not loved. The album themes
reveal themselves more on further listens. The opening gambit taxi man is an
exploration into what it would be like to weigh up your impact of the world.
The eponymous taxi man could be seen as a St Peter type figure. Further on the
album explores themes of unnecessary hatred and division, Space/Smile and It
smells like something died in here, aging, Senor Siniestro and the separation
of the physical from reality, The Body As A Structure. It’s political, but
ultimately personal. More Genet or Kafka than Orwell or Huxley. Sonically the
album has its roots in the usual DITZ influences, classic noise rock such as
The Jesus Lizard or Shellac, or the obtuse post punk of the Fall, but also
brings in fresh influences. The closing track Britney, could be compared to
Radiohead or Mogwai. Overall the album is a clear development from their
first effort. A sign of things to come |

Dajusch
unleashes the 'Ambition EP', a raw and uncompromising statement of techno
tradition. Berlin-based producer, DJ and sound engineer Dajusch returns with
his latest four-track EP, a high-powered offering that channels the essence
of Detroit and Chicago techno while pushing the boundaries of contemporary
club sound. Known for his deep connection to electronic music's pioneering
roots and his work behind the scenes as a mastering engineer, Dajusch brings
an intense and refined energy to this release. The EP opens with the single
'No Mas', a relentless percussive workout where hypnotic synths intertwine
with driving drum patterns, setting the stage for an unyielding ride. The
title track 'Ambition' follows suit with a high-octane groove, combining raw
machine-funk aesthetics with a pulsating bassline and intricate, evolving
textures that command the dance floor. On the flip side, 'Split' takes a
darker and more cerebral turn, layering industrial-tinged sonics over a
tight, rolling beat, blurring the line between peak-time energy and
introspective depth. Closing out the EP is '36g', a heady, propulsive cut
that builds into a whirlwind of syncopated rhythms and distorted stabs,
rounding off the record with a powerful, no-holds-barred climax. With Ambition,
the Spandau20 artist Dajusch reinforces his position as a purist and
innovator, delivering a release that feels both timeless and
forward-thinking. Whether experienced in the heart of a sweaty warehouse or
through the pulse of a late-night drive, this EP stands as a testament to the
raw, unfiltered power of techno |

In
2016, Cliche Morph offered the aquatic textures of Liquid Materia. Hidden
Madness is the return and a new beginning. Four tracks of intense
introspection mark a collaboration and a founding, Deep Sound Channel and
Postdynamic. Atmospheric and immersive, from the needle drop the listener is
immediately drawn into the subterranean chambers of this cerebral piece. A
stark beat is the guide rope, a snare that echoes and ricochets into the
cavernous expanse of cold currents and all too real phantoms. Feeding off
that palpable paranoia, Psyk pours a thick resonating syrup over the original
before pulling the switch. Darkness descends, distortion and reverb dominate
with a steady kick delivering some form of solid ground. Respite? No hope.
Pound and thud tell the arrival of "Exorcist". Industrial groans
and a clanking larynx are cut through by haunting strings, a meagre echo of
humanity in this absorbing and unsettling track. Blazej Malinowski closes.
Drum patterns are amplified and concentrated in the producer's purge of
"Exorcist", hi-hats hissing as the spectral refrains of the
original shift in shape and form. A 12" that plumbs the physical and the
psychological depths of sound |

HOUSE / DEEP-HOUSE / DETROIT |

Top quality experimental dance
music touching down in Detroit from Soiree Records, paying tribute to motor
city and showing its latest colours. This is achieved via a prismatic
refraction through the four-pronged artistic tetrahedron of Drivetrain, DJ Cent,
J. Garcia and Blaktony. Each artist offers a distinct perspective on the
city's house music legacy, offering something of a blind-men-and-elephant
paradox, each skirting but never quite totally capturing the essence of its
true importance, except in collaborative unison. Our picks have to be
Blaktony's 'Eastern Market (Shed 3)', an engorged undulation of deep soul
jazz come bleep, and Drivetrain's opening 'Belle', a stuttering, radiophonic
twizzler of a track signifying the itchier ends of the Detroit sound |

KEY
Vinyls 47th release dives into a silver-plated, machine driven world crafted
by Eduardo De La Calle: Kapila. Across four chapters, De La Calles veteran
touch shaped by over 25 years of sonic innovation brings to the label a sleek
yet abrasive metallic landscape. The A side opens with Kardama, unfolding a
funky yet metallic interplay with sharp bells and stinging rides slicing
through a round, acidic bassline. The track proposes a wide spatial range of
sounds, a continuous exchange and interplay of elements. Khatvanga follows,
soft yet needle-sharp a lullaby evoking complexity through simplicity.
Deceptively minimalistic, its delicate construction disguises its robust
power, marking a signature De La Calle moment: feeling held by a soft energy
which is equally pungent. With Kankas, the tempo intensifies. Rugged surfaces
and strong high frequencies merge with a type of construction that leans
heavily on rhythm, channeling the pulse of a machine in its element. And
lastly, Kala mutates into a sci-fi fever dream. Tense atmospheres build, the
machines world grows fuller, and shimmering synths take on a life of their
own. The result is a dense, captivating finale that mirrors the increasingly
blurred line between man and machine |

KEY
Vinyl welcomes Brazil born and Berlin based power woman The Lady Machine for
her debut on the label with Kudos, a no-nonsense showcase of tough, effective
club techno. Rooted in old-school sensibilities yet charged with a
forward-thinking edge, the EP offers four tracks engineered for the
dancefloor, each distinct yet united by their raw energy. We begin with
Precursor, a big-room stomper that immediately commands attention. Its thick
bassline and driving percussive thrust create an uplifting, high-impact sound
that burns with intensity one for the peak time moments. Next up is Motto, a
powerfully driven cut thatdoubles down on insistence and energy. Every
element here feels deliberate and with a strong propulsion. Mantra follows
with a massive groove and rhythm focused sound design. Open hi-hats, a sturdy
bassline, and perfectly placed claps build a magnetic, suspenseful
atmosphere. Oscillating synths add tension, while the sharpcomposition makes
it clear why this one stands out: its a certified club hit and hip shaker. On
closing duties is Abracadabra, defined by a returning thick bassline, pushing
the tracks momentum to its limit. Pure, pounding techno at its core a fitting
conclusion to an EP built for high-energy spaces and untamed dancefloor
energy. With Kudos, The Lady Machine makes a bold first impression on KEY
Vinyl, bringing a set of tough, dynamic and high-impact tracks |
