in 1993, reaching no.2 in the UK album chart hitting 100,000 selling BPI Gold

to date, the BPI Silver disc awarded Sweet Harmony, a top 10 in the UK and
across Europe. Other singles include double A-side of Celebrate Your Life and
You've Got Me Thinking, Outerspace Girl, which both hit the UK top 40 and

Jonathan Richman's classic 'Egyptian Reggae' has been responsible for setting
thousands of discerning dance floors on fire. After getting the obvious Jah
twist on a few occasions, so we thought it was about time for the Richman's
song to receive a fun yet respectful cumbia treatment! This cumbia candy has
been recorded in Lima by no other than Pancho Acosta, founder and guitarist
of Compay Quinto, and one of the greatest cumbia guitar players in Peru. On
the flip side we find one of Acosta's own original songs, 'Carnaval de
Jujuy', recorded by Austin-based future-cumbia group Money Chicha |

demand. The Storm hailed from Sevilla and were acclaimed by both audience and
press reviewers as one of the best rock bands from Spain. The combo was
formed by the Ruiz Geniz brothers (Angel and Diego), on guitar and drums
respectively, plus Luis Genil (organ) and José Torres (bass). Their debut
album, originally released on Basf in 1974, is one of the crown jewels of
Spanish hard rock, and changes hands for a small fortune among collectors all
over the world, especially since its inclusion in Hans Pokora's 'Record
Dreams' books. This LP really rocks. It's high energy hard rock that follows
the line marked by the big organ outfits of the era such as Deep Purple,
Atomic Rooster, Bram Stoker, Megaton... It has also a deep classic prog sound
root, which reaches the top on 'Un Señor Llamado Fernández De Córdoba.' We

Records, Geffen Records and Paramount Pictures present the premiere release
of the complete score by Harold Faltermeyer (BEVERLY HILLS COP, TOP GUN,
FLETCH, TANGO AND CASH) for Douglas Day Stewart's 1984 sexual, romantic
drama-thriller THIEF OF HEARTS, starring Steven Bauer, Barbara Williams and
John Getz. The film is about a woman trapped in a boring marriage who begins
an affair with a handsome man who seems able to read her mind. She doesn't
know that he has broken into her house and read her diaries, in which she has
recorded her deepest thoughts and fantasies. Harold Faltermeyer provided an
intense, romantic and suspenseful electronic score, varied and rhythmic. The
composer also wrote and produced several pop songs for the film, and arranged
the original song "Thief of Hearts," composed by Giorgio Moroder
and performed by Melissa Manchester, which was a huge hit in its single
version. The popular THIEF OF HEARTS soundtrack album was released by MCA on
LP and CD and reissued several times over the years, although in its
40-minute length it included only the five songs and five score cues
specifically arranged for the album. This limited 2-CD edition from Quartet
Records includes, for the first time, the complete score composed and
recorded by Faltermeyer for the film, and also the remastered MCA album,
unused cues, demos, and alternate versions of both score and songs. A treat
for all fans of 80s synth sound! Meticulously produced by Dan Goldwasser and
mastered by Doug Schwartz, the 20-page full color package includes in-depth
liner notes by film music writer Daniel Schweiger |

Xavier Quintet, a project where jazz and electronics engage in a real-time

May 2025, Time Pawn is built on interaction--musicians and machines reacting
to each other, shifting between structure and instinct. Eduardo and Surgeles
don't frame jazz within an electronic grid, nor do they treat electronic
textures as a decorative layer. Instead, they allow both elements to retain
their full character, pushing and pulling in ways that never settle into easy
resolutions. Fabio Giachino's piano moves freely, alternately threading
through and cutting across the pulse. David Strike and Manu Melero Amaya
bring movement that resists the obvious, allowing groove to exist without

“Pour
les gens supercool.” This slick tagline caused a commotion among Belgian
electronic music fans in 1985 as a jingle in Liaisons Dangereuses, the
infamous radio show on local station S.I.S. Antwerpen. Hosted by Paul Ward
and DJ Sven Van Hees and playing an exhilarating mix of EBM, house, new beat,
acid house, Detroit techno, synthpop and more, the transmit was without a
doubt trendsetting, presenting music on the radio that before was only to be
witnessed in dark clubs or underground record stores. Listeners needed to
make an effort though, since the S.I.S. waves only reached about 10km out of
the city center. But a network of copied tape recordings and a fast growing
bunch of fans - some of which even driving their cars to parking lots inside
the broadcast area to hear the show - created a buzz that would easily exceed
the limits of the transmission signal. In 1989 Ward and Van Hees formed their
own band named after the radio show, but to avoid confusion with the
eponymous German new wave band, they signed their records with Liaison D or
Liaisons D. Assisted by Jan Van Den Bergh (Mappa Mundi, Kumulus, Buzz),
Marcos Salon (Outlander), Frank De Wulf (B-Sides, World Party II) and J.P.
Ruelle, Liaisons D released a solid string of EP’s and the album “Submerged
In Sound” on USA Import Records between 1989 and 1992. We are extremely proud
to present four tracks from the album here as a brand new EP, a must-have for
fans of their unapologetically rough and ravy sound, testimony of a unique
era in Belgium’s electronic music history |

Last Night on Earth as two different versions. Sasha has been on an
exceptional run of form of late, not least in collaboration with a wide range
of innovative producers. His work continues to explore the most moving end of
the electronic spectrum, both in terms of well-crafted grooves but also
inescapable synth emotions. This time he links with Joseph Ashworth, Sound Of
Outside label head and a regular on the likes of Anjunadeep, Needwant and
Pets Recordings. His painstakingly crafted sound draws from a wide spectrum
of in?uence, is rich in texture and melody and has seen him serve up
indelible DJ sets all over the world.Together these studio wizards cook up
'HiFiHi' which is a sublime seven-minute trip built on bass, full of drama

label head ASC as Ocean Breeze rips into your consciousness, positively
bursting at the seams with a wonderful rolling break - make no mistake this
track will make you and the dancefloor move. Building continually with a
trademark subtle female vocal and wavy synthwork, Ocean Breeze is the perfect
livener for any discerning atmospheric set. A2 - Blue Planet: Straight into
the action with a heavy break pattern, Blue Planet sees ASC experiment with
deep, thunderous kicks and tightly edited, weighted snares set to take you
higher - as the classic, recognisable vocal sample urges.Throughout the track
we are treated to a darkly atmosphere created by thoughtful pads and effects
which elevate the mix while the breaks make the most of their headline
billing to the end. AA1 - Cyclic Nature: Continuing the break focussed
approach to the EP, ASC unleashes a break heard right at the start of
Spatial's history in Force Majeure - in fact this piece began life as a remix
of that very same track, before taking on its own identity and becoming
Cyclic Nature. Intense and hot-blooded, dense analogue kicks battle echoing
drums and subtle melodies to form a wonderfully constructed atmosphere we
just can't get enough of. AA2 - Shapeshift: Dialling back the intensity,
Shapeshift is introduced more gradually this time with a DJ-friendly cymbal
driven intro, with curious clicks and sound effects jostling over a mellow
synthy backdrop. Before long a relaxing old-school break enters the mix while
textured pads fluctuate with inquisitive jolts of melodic energy, elevating
