highly acclaimed and globally beloved Donkey Kong Country soundtracks,
meticulously recreated by composer and producer Jammin' Sam Miller. Released
in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), Donkey Kong
Country was celebrated not only for its groundbreaking quasi-3D graphics but
also for its exceptional soundtrack. The soundtrack featured a variety of
compositions, and has been highly praised for its diverse and high-quality
music, with tracks like "Aquatic Ambiance" and "Fear
Factory" standing out as fan favorites. The influence of the Donkey Kong
Country soundtrack extends beyond the gaming world, having inspired modern
artists and changed the way video game music was perceived. This limited
edition boxset, limited to 500 copies, comes as a triple DLP set, containing
Volumes 1, 2, and 3. Pressed on red, green, and blue marbled vinyl, it is
housed in a hardboard slipcase featuring new and original artwork by Andrew
Beltran. Don't sleep on this ultimate release-the previous boxset edition has
been sold out for a long time, and if you can find it, it's being sold for
crazy money. Using hex SPC data converted to MIDI, Jammin' Sam Miller
painstakingly recreated the DKC soundtrack note by note, sourcing the
original equipment used to create it. He then translated the MIDI into a
modern studio context, incorporating keyboard samples, remixing the sounds
with added effects, and mastering the tracks |

giallo score composed by Ennio Morricone in 1971 for LA CORTE NOTTE DELLE
BAMBOLE DI VETRO (aka SHORT NIGHT OF CRYSTAL DOLLS) directed by Aldo Lado and
starring Jean Sorel, Ingrid Thulin, Barbara Bach and Mario Adorf. Considered
one of the best and most consistent giallos, the film is about journalist
Gregory Moore (Sorel), whose corpse is found in a Prague square and taken to
the local morgue. But Moore's spirit is alive, trapped inside his dead body
and desperately remembering the disappearance of his beautiful girlfriend,
who is linked to a terrifying conspiracy of depravity. Can a reporter with no
visible signs of life solve this perverse puzzle before his existence ends?
Morricone's thriller scores remain some of his most distinctive and original
works. As demonstrated in his scores for Dario Argento's efforts in the
genre, Morricone's uncanny ability to combine lyricism, unbridled avant-garde
experimentation and stylish elegance was his most significant contribution to
the category. LA CORTA NOTTE DELLE BAMBOLE DI VETRO shows Morricone once
again embracing the sophisticated avant-garde sound while beginning his score
with a haunting tune performed by Edda Dell'Orso heard over the film's main
titles. The waltz theme has a timeless quality, providing a disturbing and
disarming melody for the film. This is the first worldwide vinyl edition of
this Morricone cult score. It has been completely produced and mastered by
Chris Malone from original master tapes and pressed in audiophile clear

As
part of the limited Emscherkurve 77 Vinyl Collectors Reissue series, now
available on LP for the first time ever: "Zweite Wahl" contains
sought-after songs from releases that have long been out of print, such as
"Religion" from the confiscated "Tribute to Slime"
sampler. "Religion" from the confiscated 'Tribute to Slime'
sampler, the Dritte Wahl cover version 'Zeit bleib stehen' and unreleased
demo versions and outtakes, which were often recorded in a more punk-rough
style ("Dreck und Lügen"), have a completely different charm like
the 'finished version' ("Vergangenheit") or have never been
released like 'Sterne'. The gentlemen from the Ruhrpott, who are not in the
habit of pushing themselves to the fore, modestly call this "demos and
other stuff". We call this one of the best compilations of unofficial
recordings and anything but "rejects", which are often lovelessly
thrown among the people by bands, 13 songs from the "Dat soll Punkrock
sein?!" and "Buch des Lebens" era, including a fat live
recording of "Genug zu tun" in Paderborn! |

influenced the hardcore punk and goth movements. l996's I'm Alright Jack And
The Bean Stalk (aka Not Of This Earth) was a real departure for the re-vamped

Reissued
for first time on vinyl the demo-tape "_Al Servicio" by the Chilean
Punk/Oi! band Ocho Bolas! Since its formation in the late '80s, Ocho Bolas
has been an emblem of the Punk scene in Valparaíso (Chile). The band was
formed in 1988 and they gave their first concert that same year at the Mauri
Theater (Valparaíso) when the Punk scene was still a resistance to the fierce
Pinochet dictatorship. A year later in 1989 they recorded their first
demo-tape "_Al Servicio" which contained 8 songs that were released
on cassette by the band themselves (today it is almost impossible to find
copies of that first edition). "_Al Servicio" is the closest thing
in that corner of the world had to the spirit of the first Hardcore/Punk with
direct lyrics and enormous honesty, without any pretension other than to
shout about what bothered them and what was different a lot to what was done
in Santiago at that same time, both in terms of lyrics and music. Ocho Bolas
were much more aggressive and direct than other bands of the time. Already in
1991, they recorded their best-known 12" through the German label DIM
Records. 1000 copies were pressed of the Mini-LP "Trabajo Duro"
which also included a version of Cock Sparrer converted into "Yo Quiero
a Mi País". But that is another story_ Deluxe edition with gatefold
cover and insert including lyrics, cuts and old photos |

Electro/boogie/hip hop group from Brooklyn, New York. In 1976, a DJ
collective known as Jam-On Productions developed in Brooklyn, and was
composed of Ben "Cozmo D" Cenac, his best friend David "Dr.
Freeze" St. Louis, and Cenac's cousins Monique "Niqu D"
Angevin and her brother Pete "Master Quadro" Angevin. In 1981,
Cenac created a recording group as an extension of Jam-On, which included his
wife Yvette (Lady E), Niqu D, and her future husband Bob "Chilly B"
Crafton. This foursome originally went by Positive Messenger, but changed
their name to Newcleus |

tracks; some, new interpretations from other albums in which Mike Guagenti

salsero soul -, that, at times, could remind us of the late Tito Rodríguez,
and even Ray Ramos. It has developed a cult following, and finding a copy of
the original could be quite expensive. Luckily, this officially licensed and
restored edition will fill that void |

autumnal sides bear some of the frayed vocal moments often heard on Holiday's
§0s Verve sides, the majority here still ranks with her best material. This
is especially true of the cuts from the June 1956 date, which produced
unparalleled versions of "No Good Man," "Some Other
Spring," and "Lady Sings the Blues." See why many fans prefer
the "worn out" Holiday heard here to the more chipper singer

Little Richard was the stage name
adopted by Richard Wayne Penniman, a gospel and rhythm & blues singer who
was also a rocker, a homosexual, a Seventh Day Adventist, and an
extraordinary personality. He invented one of the most emblematic battle cries
to ever rouse a generation of young people confronting a much-needed new
world... and rock 'n' roll. The cry was a lyric from Tutti Frutti that went
"A Wop Bop A Loo Bop A Lop Bam Boom!" Just one look at this album's
titles tells you all you need to know about the importance that this man
represents in Fifties' music history. In addition to Tutti Frutti you can
find Long Tall Sally, Lucille and Good Golly Miss Molly, to name only a few.
Nobody can imagine what Rock 'n' Roll would have been without Little Richard.
He was a mighty inspiration for such major artists as Prince and The Rolling
Stones, and he fully deserves his place at the top of the pyramid that today
we call "the influencers" |

Jamaica's most soulful vocalists, and over a 40-year career the singer
unleashed a flood of hits and a multitude of masterpieces. Born on October 5,
1948, in the Kingston neighborhood of Trenchtown, Wilson's phenomenal talent
would be his ticket out of the ghetto, and his discovery by producer Coxsone
Dodd in 1962 would change the path of Jamaican music. Released on Big Shot in

After running a sound system and
studying electronics overseas, Spanish Town-based Harry Mudie began releasing
rhythm and blues recordings by local performers, enjoying more concerted
success during the reggae era of the late 1960s and mid-1970s, crafting
lasting hits with artists like Dennis Walks and the Spanish Town-based
toaster I Roy. The first volume of the 'Dub Conference' series, made with
King Tubby, has stripped-down cuts of some of Mudie's greatest productions,
including 'Lorna's Dance,' a percussion and horns take of 'Caught You In A
Lie,' and a strings cut of the Heptones' 'Love Without Feeling.' |

Always one to command your
attention with his multi layered grooves, this EP features an old Juan Atkins
sample "Buy some shit from Detroit" that has been part of
Beroshima's live sets for years. Excellent opener 'Encounter' reflects a
recent idea Jeff Mills and Muller had to produce tracks together for a not
yet produced sci-fi movie. It is an eight-minute astral techno trip with
smooth, driving drums and plenty of intergalactic synth lines. 'The Passion
of Lovers' transfers the organic Beroshima style into 2018 and shows off
Frank's passion for spaced out electronica. It's a brilliantly bumping cut
with lithe synths and melodies adding that soul and colour as it races
through the galaxies. Limited quantities! |

2024] Over the past few years Eskimo Recordings have invited some of thebest
crate diggers around to curate compilations that don't just reveal the hidden
contents of their record bags but something about themselves too. Now,
following in the footsteps of the likes of Bill Brewster and Psychemagik,
producer, musician, DJ, writer and more, Richard Norris, takes us on a
globetrotting psychedelic journey with the epic 42 track collection, Mr
Norris Changes Brains. For over forty years Richard has played a part in many
of the UK's most important music subcultures. Whether sharing stages with the
likes of Tracey Thorn as a pubescent punk in St. Albans, or running freakbeat
nights in Liverpool and working at the pioneering psychedelic label Bam
Caruso, co-producing the UK's first acid house inspired LP with Throbbing
Gristle's Genesis P. Orridge or riding the wave of creativity that the second
summer of love unleashed all the way to the Top of the Pop studios as The
Grid, Richard's career has continually seen him work to expand both his own
and the public's musical horizons. With Mr Norris Changes Brains it's the
most recent part of his mercurial career that he's focused on. Drawing
inspiration from his post 2006 adventures as one half of Beyond the Wizard's
Sleeve, alongside Trash's Erol Alkan, this compilation shows how a more
connected world has blown the dust off a paradoxically sometimes
straightjacketed scene. The result is a dizzyingly wide-ranging collection
that explores the further out there reaches of worldwide psychedelia and
dancefloor mayhem. "A lot of these tracks are fairly recent discoveries,
things that I've discovered from around the time I started working with Erol
and going right up to today," Richard explains. "Whether that's
from going out to play and finding new records in places like Istanbul or
just connecting with people online from all around the world. Psych can
sometimes be a sort of narrow-minded field, with everything having to sit in
its specific niche, but more and more people are open to new sounds and
that's allowed for a much broader selection." Despite their disparate
origins what does unite these tracks is that they aren't just there to zone out
to on a bean bag as projections of swirling coloured oils and psychedelic
patterns wash over you. Mr Norris may change brains but his DJ sets also move
feet, and whether it's their killer guitar riffs, oscillating synths floor
shaking drums or soulful Hammond organs these are all cuts that from festival
tents to underground clubs have proven time and time again to get people
dancing. "With a lot of these tracks there's a kind of fun element in
them," says Richard. "It's still psychedelia, but they've also got
these solid, funky grooves. They sound phenomenal on the dancefloor and as
much as these records might excite old psych heads, this compilation is also
for a new generation out there who might have never heard anything like this before
and, just like when I was 18 and heard The 13th Floor Elevators for the first
time, think 'Oh, my God, what on earth is this and more importantly what else
is out there?' |

Tresor
resident DJs LNS and DJ Sotofett have for some years been developing a style
at the club‘s Globus floor, and their new EP is a die cut of exactly the
classic techno, electro, and house music they play. Here are no productions
drenched in reverb, no hi-fi obsessions or generic algorithmic patterns –
this is Globus Trax, the duo's third release on Tresor Records, four tracks
consisting of real TR-909 workouts, rude and driving basslines, live runs
through the mixing desk, and a Blake Baxter cover version with LNS on vocals.
LNS & DJ Sotofett programmed an EP to perfectly fit their warehouse style
of DJing, bringing out colour and variation in a spectrum more similar to a
club compilation than a dogmatically reduced concept. With a single repeated
vocal sample, Globus Trax opens bombastically with ClickClickClick, a dub
-infused UK garage house track anyone in the world can easily describe in the
course of a second. Following this comes Gearbox which is a hefty slab of big
room electro featuring a centerpiece arpeggio and the warmest harmonic pads
on the EP's four tracks, which not-so-subtly makes reference to the
pioneering band that shares a name with Globus and Tresor's home, the
Kraftwerk. The house vibe returns on Destination 909, which is nothing but a
manifesto for the TR-909, where the beloved drum machine's jacking beats meet
galactic strings and synthetic bass, only to be ripped apart in a slamming
break that sees the machine take centre stage as it cuts in-and-out of the
mix, again a clear nod to the duo’s sets in the club. LNS steps up on vocal
duties and DJ Sotofett keeps the 909 running for their final cut, taking a
deeper dive into the realms of classic techno and paying tribute to “The
Prince of Techno” Blake Baxter by covering his Reach Out originally released
on Tresor Records in 1995. The 12” was cut by DJ Sotofett himself at Manmade
Mastering, where he resurrects the lost art of late-90s loud cuts with sonic
presence and punch, optimal for the club-focused 12” format, and is the first
to come in the new Tresor Sleeve, boasting an embossed logo on either side |

Yuzovskaya unveils the 'The More You Know' remix EP on her vinyl-only Monday
Off imprint, releasing 6th June 2025. Featuring reworks from Spain's ORBE,
90s US Techno legend Mike Parker, Judas Records' JUDAS, and Duna founder
CONCEPTUAL. First up, Token and Mote-Evolver artist and Orbe Records boss
ORBE remixes 'Ittiologia', maintaining the original's hypnotism by amplifying
its eerie soundscapes for a loopy, deep space trip. JUDAS, shrouded in
mystery yet known for his self-released EPs on his eponymous label and
releases on ARTS, then revisits 'Micologia', completely reworking its
tripped-out sequences into short bursts of droning synth work. Tresor,
Semantica, and Prologue's Mike Parker also provides a version of 'Micologia',
with the US Techno lynchpin slowing down its rhythm while its weighted
synthlines bubble up between its kicks and rides. Closing out this remix
package, Italy's CONCEPTUAL reworks 'Ittiologia', building tension via the
original's dark and shadowy atmospheres but switching up its low-end for an
electric, late-night feel. Mary Yuzovskaya is a storyteller. Through
delicate, masterful curation and a deep knowledge of experimental, trippy
Techno, she weaves together sonic journeys - with 'The More You Know -

Moving Pressure welcomes its first external artist: young Slovenian producer
Obscur. With a signature sound that is driving and subtly psychedelic, his
debut on the label doesn't stray from the core tenets of its sonic ethos.
Obscur delivers minimalism with purpose-dynamic, intentional, and wholly
physical. 'F135' opens the A-side with a sinister tilt-rubbery squeaks
stretch and coil around a flickering, synthetic voice. It's tactile and
strange, without losing movement. 'Soul Eater' follows with a slow-burn
crescendo, nestling psychedelic inflections into a warm low-end. On the flip,
'Stockholm Syndrome' pares things back. Dry, stripped rhythms carry an
atmospheric tension-it's austere yet playful, leaving space for darker hues
to linger without fully settling. A precise, heads-down statement.
'Blasphemy' follows with a tighter percussive grip and Feral-esque, panning
modulations. Highs slice through a foundation of finely textured
grooves-functional at its core, but laced with enough detail to give the
track a sharper, more intricate edge. The digital bonus, 'Diamond City',
stretches the sonic palette even further. Not through layers, but through
tone: steel blues and deep violets bounce off metallic bleeps with cinematic
restraint, closing the EP on a reflective note |

Bristol-based DJ, producer, and vocalist Shanti Celeste is back with her

debut LP on the cult London-based label, Romance sees Celeste fully embracing
her artistic evolution, delivering a lush and deeply personal exploration of

Following
the success of his debut album Echoes of Prayer - featuring singles like
Communicate, Calm Waters, and Silent Chaos - Ghanaian-Dutch artist Bnnyhunna
announces the album's first-ever vinyl release, set for May 30, 2025, via the
renowned Belgian label Sdban Ultra. Originally released digitally in October
2024, Echoes of Prayer stands as a deeply personal and spiritual work that
reflects Bnnyhunna's faith, his early experiences growing up in church, and
his West African heritage. Every track on the album serves as a form of
prayer, a conversation with God. The album showcases his ability to weave
poetic lyrics, vivid visuals, and captivating melodies, creating an immersive
experience that resonates on a spiritual and emotional level. Bnnyhunna's
signature fusion of jazz, hip-hop, gospel, and Afro rhythms highlights his
versatility and musical integrity. Next to the the warm jazz textures of Calm
Waters, the vibrant Afrobeat pulse of Communicate, and the soulful,
piano-driven Silent Chaos, Echoes of Prayer also blends elements of '70s
P-Funk grooves, gospel harmonies, and modern hip-hop rhythms. Each song
represents a different facet of Bnnyhunna's artistic vision. Tracks like
SHOULD'VE BEEN YOU carry nostalgic R&B undertones, while Sum Love brings
gospel-infused choir arrangements that recall sacred spaces. Interludes such
asAvanti add moments of intimacy and reflection through gentle guitar lines.
The album's diverse sound is elevated by collaborations with The Cavemen, who
lend their signature highlife revival, and Jembaa Groove, who contribute with
West African-inspired rhythms. His debut project EP SINTHA, released in 2021,
quickly established Bnnyhunna as a rising talent, leading to collaborations
with artists like Asake, Rimon, and José James. He gained momentum by selling
out his first headline show, which included a surprise performance from
Kokoroko, and receiving global recognition from platforms like Highsnobiety,
VICE, and Complex, as well as performing at prestigious festivals such as
North Sea Jazz and Montreux Jazz. Bnnyhunna challenges conventional music by
engaging all the senses through photography, videography, and poetry. The
release of Echoes of Prayer follows a year of significant achievements for
Bnnyhunna. In2024, he performed for Highsnobiety at Paris Fashion Week,
appeared at prestigious festivals such as Dekmantel and Zwarte Cross, and
played a standout performance at the Steam Down Weekly series in London.
Additionally, he composed an original score for the Dutch National Opera and
won the Edison Pop Award, one of the most prestigious music awards in the
Netherlands (often referred to as the Dutch Grammys), in the
Soul/R&B/Funk category. With the vinyl release of Echoes of Prayer,
Bnnyhunna offers fans a tangible, collectible edition of his powerful debut.

inimitably groovy Egyptian and Lebanese exotica, unearthed from the hallowed
vaults of Sono Cairo and Voix De L’Orient’s archives. These rare gems, born
from a time of boundless musical experimentation in the Arab world, capture
the vibrant, ever-evolving soundscapes of Cairo, Beirut, and beyond. Each
track invites listeners onto a sonic voyage where the familiar and the
avant-garde intertwine, revealing a sound that is as timeless as it is
revolutionary. Leila Gamal’s ‘Abaleeh Abalingi’ At the height of Pan-Arabism,
when the United Arab Republic fused Egypt and Syria in a fleeting but bold
experiment, a new wave of popular music was emerging—vibrant, infectious, and
universally danceable. Among its lesser-known stars was actress Leila Gamal,
whose voice—delicate yet rich with longing—embodied the golden era of
Egyptian cinema. Born in Alexandria to Syrian roots, Gamal’s vocals were a
magnetic blend of sweetness and passion, with a timeless allure that echoed
the silver-screen sweethearts of her time. Abaleeh Abalingi pulses with the
hypnotic drive of funky organ riffs, reminiscent of the blind visionary Ammar
El Sheriyi, creating a sound both cinematic and undeniably catchy. The
delicate lyrics by Khairi Fouad place the track firmly in the lineage of the
Middle East’s most iconic pop divas, from Angham to Nawal El-Zoughbi who he
subsequently wrote for. This reissue, lovingly remastered, brings this
long-lost gem back to life, where it belongs—spinning on turntables, teasing
dance floors, and transporting listeners to Egypt in the late sixties. Adel
Osman’s “Oriental Eyes” Oriental Eyes captures the essence of the 60s
Egyptian Franco-Arab movement, blending Western (often jazz) influences with
Arabic melodies to mesh mystique with sensuality. Osman’s commanding yet
delicate vocals deliver the bilingual lyrics with captivating sincerity, his
voice effortlessly gliding over the swells of the arrangement. The trumpet,
possibly connecting him to Zaki Osman of Salah Ragab’s legendary Cairo Jazz
Band, adds a layer of flair, enriching the track’s Tarantino-esque
eclecticism. Now remastered, ‘Oriental Eyes’ is not only a nostalgic gem but
a timeless reminder of the boundary-defying spirit that defined the 1960s
musical landscape. Given the ongoing war efforts against Israel, this record
wasn’t pressed by Sono Cairo till much later in 1975 once Egypt had
recaptured the Sinai and restored national pride. Sono Cairo (Sawt el-Qahira)
was the first Arab-owned and by far the largest record label in the Middle
East, amassing an unmatched catalogue of music. With exclusive rights over
much of Umm Kulthum’s works, Sono Cairo played a crucial role in
disseminating the sounds of Arab Nationalism and projecting Egypt’s soft
