Records, in collaboration with El Deseo, celebrates the 40th anniversary of
Pedro Almodóvar's iconic classic film ¿QUÉ HE HECHO YO PARA MERECER ESTO!
(aka WHAT I HAVE DONE TO DONE TO DESERVE THIS?), one of his most celebrated
and beloved films, with the premiere vinyl edition of the original soundtrack
composed by Bernardo Bonezzi for the film. Bernardo Bonezzi was only 19 years
old when he composed and orchestrated the music for this film, which was also
his first film score and the beginning a solid career as a film composer,
leaving behind a successful career as a pop musician. He collaborated with
Almodóvar on two other films (MATADOR and WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS
BREAKDOWN) and with many other directors, completing more than 60 films and
TV series before his untimely passed at the age of 48, ending the career of
one of the most respected composers of Spanish cinema and one of its most
personal voices. Bonezzi's score for ¿QUÉ HE HECHO YO PARA MERECER ESTO! is
surprisingly mature and sensitive, with a neorealist-inspired waltz as the
main theme, dramatic music for string orchestra, echoes of jazz and blues,
and the piece "La soledad de Gloria," which has remained one of the
most representative themes of all Almodóvar's filmography. The score was
never released on album and the masters were considered lost for ages.
Bonezzi re-recorded five cues in 1990 for the album "Three Films by
Almodóvar," specially re-orchestrated and arranged for that album, but
still far from the freshness of the original recording. The recent discovery
of the original 1984 recording sessions tapes, in stereo and mint condition,
has resulted in the release of this highly requested score for all Almodóvar
and Bonezzi fans. The audio was mastered by Chris Malone from the original
master tapes, and the LP are pressed in transparent green-lizard audiophile
vinyl. It includes a separate booklet with liner notes and special stills
from the movie |

In 2019, "Pa Svenska"
was the first album of "Götenburg ?s finest", the CITY SAINTS,
recorded entirely in Swedish, and was considered an experiment at the time.
The band, founded in 2012, dared to fulfill a long-cherished wish after 3
English-language albums and record the new songs in their native language.
The result surprised not only the band, because the LP was sold out in a very
short time and enjoyed great popularity internationally far beyond
Scandinavia |

Nous'klaer
Audio proudly presents Lenxi and her debut album: 'Did you get the dream I
sent you?' A personal 10-track long player balancing IDM, indie pop and
techno, which was written in and about a period of life where heartbreak and
threats reinforced each other, creating an inescapable loop of isolation.
Attempting to regain confidence and hope, a process of dreaming up a fictive
emotional escape emerged. Paintings, sketches, voice notes, and a first few
synth-lines took shape--laying the groundwork for this very album. In the
tail of the storm, the London-born, Amsterdam-based producer and DJ refined
her ideas further in places that carried hopeful memories. Places that felt
familiar. Revisiting studios in beloved locations from the past --in London
and Paris-- and seeking for the new --in studios and the Westcoast waters of
L.A.-- all helped to shape those purest ideas into full songs forming a story
that demanded closure. Lenxi's debut album is a stunning sequence of dreams
hinting at hope combined with nostalgia--built on a strong force battling the
vulnerability of being alone--and ultimately finding a way out and onto the
dance-floor. The album is pressed on 180g vinyl and comes with a
download-card |

The debut Siyahkal album is a
thrilling fusion of direct hardcore from the West and Middle Eastern
psychedelic influences from Persia and Palestine. There is also a fascinating
friction between the music's noise-influenced simplicity and the complex lyrics,
displaying the fight for justice in claiming your homeland |

Rambalaya, más que solventes en
la composición, y sobrados de pericia instrumental, son un auténtico all-star
de músicos dan nacimiento a este proyecto como complemento a su presencia en
bandas como Los Mambo Jambo, A Contra Blues, Koko-Jean & The Tonics o Los

Clear vinyl. Renowned as one of
the most legendary rock guitarists ever, Link Wray burst onto the scene in
the late '50s with a series of groundbreaking instrumental tracks. This
album, however, showcases a different facet of Link, swapping his usual instrumentals
for vocal tracks that complement his fiery guitar skills. These songs were
tailored for the energetic teen dances that Link and his band performed at
tirelessly over the years. Originally released in a very limited run in 1964,
this album has remained a hidden gem in Link Wray's discography, now finally
available for a new generation of fans to discover! |

Turmoil's 'From Bleeding Hands,'
in its first-ever reissue since the original l996 release, unleashes an
unyielding barrage of heavy riffs, powerful rhythms, and a raw, gritty
atmosphere. The album is a testament to the band's signature intensity,
expertly blending aggressive instrumentation with dark, atmospheric
undertones. Each track is meticulously crafted, showcasing precision, heavy
production, and relentless energy that captivates from start to finish. The
album's dynamic range, shifting between thunderous breakdowns and hauntingly
melodic passages, highlights Turmoil's evolved sound and attention to detail.
This reissue solidifies 'From Bleeding Hands' as a milestone in modern
metal/hardcore history. Comes on orange vinyl |

WOMAN. WOMAN es una banda de Nueva York que desarrolla los sonidos más
salvajes del NYC noise y el swamp australiano. Un brutal viaje en la música,
a través de Scientists, Honeymoon Killers, Birthday Party, Pussy Galore,
Beasts Of Bourbon, Swans, etc. Este es su album debut, y antes de editarlo ya
han sido usuales teloneros en Nueva York de bandas como Beasts Of Bourbon,
Kid Congo Powers, Cheater Slicks, Jerry Teel, Heavy Trash, Five Dollar

The Lungfish band from Baltimore,
Maryland performed and released albums on the Dischord Records label for more
than 20 years. The group's consciousness alternately/simultaneously coalesced
and dispersed creating a continuous quasi-musical pulse, which reached climax
at semi-monthly public performances.
Lungfish is now, as it often has been, quasi, if not entirely,
defunct. However, after the release of Feral Hymns in 2005, singer Daniel
Higgs (who is also an accomplished visual artist) embarked on a solo career,
releasing albums on Northern Liberties, Thrill Jockey, and Holy Mountain and
showing his artwork both in the States and the United Kingdom. Asa Osborne is
currently recording and performing solo material under the name, The Zomes |

The debut LP by Oi! legends The
Business, originally released in 1983. Formed in South London in 1979 the
group started playing Oi! concerts in 1981, opening for the 4/Skins. After
that they quickly became one of the bigger groups on the UK Oi! scene. This
absolute stone cold Oi! clasic includes the Indie Chart hit singles
"Harry May" and "Smash The Discos" plus the anthemic
"Loud Proud N Punk". Produced by the Cockney Rejects- Micky Geggus,
this is another essential UK punk&Oi! classic back in print on LP thanks
to Radiation Records |

Many
reggae music historians feel that the rocksteady period of Jamaican music
only lasted for a brief period of time from the years 1966 to about 1968.
Clearly, they have not been in tune with what the legendary rocksteady duo of
Keith & Tex have been up to in this modern era of reggae music. Since
reuniting in the late 1990's, Keith & Tex have released five albums of
original material grounded in the solid foundation of the sound called
rocksteady, with their newest album, `Gun Life', being number six, following
that same traditional path. 'Gun Life' is another collaboration with the
highly regarded and proficient producer from Spain, Roberto Sanchez, and his
Lone Ark Riddim Force. The band backs Keith & Tex with authentic, bubbly,
driving rocksteady riddims freshly created for this project. The music
carries the gamut of universal topics of life such as the trials and
tribulations of love with songs like 'She's Gone' and 'Gave You My Heart.'
The track 'Give Me One Reason,' where Babylon has taken the resources of
Africa under false pretenses -- 'Give me one good reason to trust you...the
good book in one hand and a weapon in the other'-- is an example of a song
that gives a common theme a new twist |

When
you're running a label, a demo occasionally comes across your desk that makes
you reconsider everything you thought your label was all about. For Balmat,
such was the case with this stunning album from Stephen Vitiello, Brendan
Canty, and Hahn Rowe. It sounds like nothing we've released so far--and that
very otherness opened up a whole new world of possibilities for us. Fans of
ambient, experimental electronic music, and sound art will be familiar with
Vitiello, a New York native, long based in Virginia, who has collaborated
with a cross-generational list of greats: Taylor Deupree, Steve Roden,
Lawrence English, Tetsu Inoue, Nam June Paik, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Pauline
Oliveros, and many more. On labels like 12k, Room40, and Sub Rosa, he has
explored a wide range of minimalism, microsound, lowercase, ambient, improv,
and other styles. But this album is something different. It may begin in
ambient-adjacent territory, but it quickly veers off, and it just keeps
zigzagging, taking on elements of krautrock, post-punk, dub, and the
groove-heavy interplay of groups like Natural Information Society and 75
Dollar Bill. This stylistic turn is thanks in large part to Vitiello's choice
of collaborators. "We're coming from three different schools," Vitiello
says: "sound art, art rock, and punk rock." Active since the early
1980s, Rowe--a violinist, guitarist, and producer/engineer--has played with,
or manned the boards for, a frankly jaw-dropping list of musicians: Herbie
Hancock, Gil Scott-Heron, the Last Poets, Roy Ayers, John Zorn, Glenn Branca,
Swans, Live Skull, Brian Eno, David Byrne, Anohni, R.E.M., Yoko Ono, and many
more. But he might be most closely associated with Hugo Largo, a
one-of-a-kind New York quartet--two basses, vocals, and Rowe's violin--that
in the late 1980s helped lay the groundwork for what would eventually become
known as post-rock. Canty, of course, is the legendary drummer of Fugazi, the
visionary DC post-hardcore group, as well as Rites of Spring before them, and,
currently, the Messthetics, a Dischord-signed instrumental trio with
guitarist Anthony Pirog and Fugazi bassist Joe Lally. More info:
www.balmat.cat Press Contact // Cristina Salinas :: press@lapsus.cat :: +34
635 689 363 Vitiello's trio first collaborated on First, a 17-minute piece
released on the Longform Editions label in 2023. Second picks up where the
freeform drift of First left off, channeling the trio's exploratory energies
into more intentionally structured tracks and--in a real first for
Balmat--some almost shockingly muscular grooves. "Sometimes my projects
are more conceptually driven," Vitiello says, "but I think this was
more musically geared. I just wanted to open up the references and bring in
an incredible drummer, bring in some melodies, and I'm sort of the
center." But his collaborators, he stresses, are "vastly creative
in making anything I might suggest better." Like its predecessor, Second
took shape in phases, shifting between improvisation and collage. Vitiello
laid down the skeleton of the music at home, sketching out initial ideas on
Rhodes keyboard and acoustic and electric guitar; he then fed the parts
through samplers and his modular system, recording 10- or 20-minute jams.
Once he had edited them into more structured forms, he hit the studio with
Canty, who added not just drums but also bass and piano; finally, Vitiello
took the results of those sessions to Rowe, who played violin, viola,
electric bass, and 12-string acoustic and bowed electric guitar, and assisted
in some of the final structuring and mixdown. A few more surprises along the
way: Reanimator's Don Godwin, the studio engineer where Vitiello recorded
with Canty, contributed what he calls "resonant dustpan"; and none
other than Animal Collective's Geologist, who just happened to be in the
studio that day, sits in on hurdy gurdy on "Mrphgtrs1," the album's
gorgeous, stunningly atmospheric drone closer. "I love these chance
encounters," Vitiello says. "Somebody I admire, a group I
admire--that was an unexpected gift." An unexpected gift is a great way
of describing Second as a whole: three veteran musicians venturing outside
their usual zones and finding a new collaborative language together. The
results can't be neatly slotted into any given genre; they belong not to any
given category, but to the spirit of conversation itself. -- Balmat is a
label with a cloudy outline. Jointly shepherded by Albert Salinas and Philip
Sherburne, two friends living in Cardedeu, Catalonia, and on the Balearic
island of Menorca, Balmat grew out of Lapsus Radio, a weekly show born almost
ten years ago. Balmat's mission is simple: to foster new ideas, expand upon
personal obsessions, and put enveloping sounds out into the world.
"Balmat" means "empty" or "void" in Catalan.
But quite apart from any negative connotations, we prefer to think of it in
terms of possibility: a space waiting to be filled |

A
ghost walks through Bilbao: the ghost of Al Karpenter, the only wild rocker
able to restore the hard core of the true rebel music. From the times running
his legendary Brutus fanzine to playing the role of Andy Warhol as
commissioner of a tribute record in the 40th anniversary of the first Velvet
Underground album ("A Gran Bilbao Tribute To The Velvet Underground
& Nico"), he arrives now in a trio format with a biographical single
where he bares himself. 'The Chosen One' features the distinguished presence
of key players of the Basque leftfield music scene such as Mattin (from Billy
Bao) and Loty Negarti. Munster is the right label to continue the more
obscure and reptil-like path of rock from Bilbao (La Secta, Cancer Moon and
more recently Billy Bao). Al Karpenter doesn't disappoint and that city
becomes a temporary prism through which New York's no wave travels to London
to pick up Alternative TV's strident side, while crossing paths with Scott
Walker in a surgery where Iggy Pop mutates into a dog. Apart from barking,
the listener will find tense silences, dense textures and intimate reflection
by one of the most singular characters to come out of Bilbao |

including insert with liner notes. Chapter 3 out of 3. "Throughout all
my time as a musician and producer, ever since Jack the Tab, I've been
focused on developing a single idea: Blending psychedelic sounds and effects
with rhythm." Richard Norris, Strange Things Are Happening [White Rabbit
2024] Over the past few years Eskimo Recordings have invited some of the best
crate diggers aroundto curate compilations that don't just reveal the hidden
contents of their record bags but something about themselves too. Now,
following in the footsteps of the likes of Bill Brewster and Psychemagik,
producer, musician, DJ, writer and more, Richard Norris, takes us on a
globetrotting psychedelic journey with the epic 42 track collection, Mr
Norris Changes Brains. For over forty years Richard has played a part in many
of the UK's most important music subcultures. Whether sharing stages with the
likes of Tracey Thorn as a pubescent punk in St. Albans, or running freakbeat
nights in Liverpool and working at the pioneering psychedelic label Bam
Caruso, co-producing the UK's first acid house inspired LP with Throbbing
Gristle's Genesis P. Orridge or riding the wave of creativity that the second
summer of love unleashed all the way to the Top of the Pop studios as The
Grid, Richard's career has continually seen him work to expand both hisown
and the public's musical horizons. With Mr Norris Changes Brains it's the
most recent part of his mercurial career that he's focused on. Drawing
inspiration from his post 2006 adventures as one half of Beyond the Wizard's
Sleeve, alongside Trash's Erol Alkan, this compilation shows how a more
connected world has blown the dust off a paradoxically sometimes
straightjacketed scene. The result is a dizzyingly wide-ranging collection
that explores the further out there reaches of worldwide psychedelia and
dancefloor mayhem. "A lot of these tracks are fairly recent discoveries,
things that I've discovered from around the time I started working with Erol
and going right up to today," Richard explains. "Whether that's
from going out to play and finding new records in places like Istanbul or
just connecting with people online from all around the world. Psych can
sometimes be a sort of narrow-minded field, with everything havingto sit in
its specific niche, but more and more people are open to new sounds and
that's allowed for a much broader selection." Despite their disparate
origins what does unite these tracks is that they aren't just there to zone
out to on a bean bag as projections of swirling coloured oils and psychedelic
patterns wash over you. Mr Norris may change brains but his DJ sets also move
feet, and whether it's their killer guitar riffs, oscillating synths floor
shaking drums or soulful Hammond organs these are all cuts that from festival
tents to underground clubs have proven time and time again to get people
dancing. "With a lot of these tracks there's a kind of fun element in
them," says Richard. "It's still psychedelia, but they've also got
these solid, funky grooves. They sound phenomenal on the dancefloor and as
much as these records might excite old psych heads, this compilation is also
for a new generation out there who might have never heard anything like this
before and, just like when I was 18 and heard The 13th Floor Elevators for
the first time, think 'Oh, my God, what on earth is this and more importantly
what else is out there?' |

Two
foundational releases from Toronto's Strobe Records get a well-deserved
reissue on the Clone Classic Cuts series, spotlighting a pivotal moment in
North American dance music. While often overshadowed by the Detroit and New
York scenes, Toronto's underground in the early '90s was brewing its own
potent blend of house and techno - and these tracks are prime examples of
that cross-border synergy. The Hayden Andre Project's contributions sit at
the perfect intersection of tribal house rhythms and the emotive,
machine-driven pulse of early Detroit techno. There's a raw elegance here - a
sense of deep groove layered with just the right amount of percussive
tension. It's no surprise that these tracks became staples in the crates of
DJs both then and now. The production feels timeless, with hypnotic
arrangements that still command the floor over three decades later. On the
flip, Kingdom Come, another alias of Ron Allen, delivers lush, blissed-out
house music that channels the soulful energy of New York's golden era while
adding a uniquely Canadian sensibility. Allen's piano work, layered with warm
pads and swinging drums, gives these tracks an unmistakable vibe - equal
parts deep house ecstasy and garage swagger. It's the sound of 3 a.m.
euphoria, of packed dance floors and emotional peaks. This reissue not only
shines a light on the underrated Toronto scene but also remind us just how
global and interconnected house music was becoming in the early '90s. For
both collectors and newcomers, these are essential cuts - testaments to a
moment when boundaries between cities and styles were blurred in the name of
dance |

Danza Tribale opens a new chapter
in 2025 with MAITAKE - ??, the debut EP from Italian sound explorer Lo.Sai.
Rooted in sonic tactility and movement, the project draws from both ancestral
rhythms and experimental structures to create something intimate, immersive,
and future-facing. Named after the "dancing mushroom" from Japanese
folklore, MAITAKE is inspired by the interconnected growth of mycelial
networks and the emotional ecology of shared experience. Developed in
collaboration with choreographer Maria Combi, the EP is a meditation on
collective motion - where dance, rhythm, and ritual coalesce. Across five
tracks, Lo.Sai weaves together broken percussion, deep bass, fieldrecordings,
and global rhythmic language. Fragments of flamenco, muezzin prayer, and
Central African everyday rhythms float through the record - artefacts
gathered by the artist's close-knit creative circle in Lunigiana. What
emerges is not just a club record, but a living, breathing sonic organism |

Art is a term that's often associated with Robert Hood's work
and the next vinyl release on M-Plant comprises his recent digital releases -
the March single "Art Form" and April's double-header "Art
Class / Art School" to create the "Art Project EP". The acidic
"Art Form" is Hood's first Techno release since 2024's "Alpha
Key EP". The Minimal Techno originator continues to show off his prowess
with "Art Class" which stays on the Acid path we hear on "Art
Form" but delves even deeper. Meanwhile, "Art School" on the
B-side brings sci-fi sounds and an atmospheric punch. Robert Hood has said of
his M-Plant label: "M-Plant is what I've always wanted to hear: the
basic stripped down, raw sound. Just drums, basslines and funky grooves and
only what's essential. Only what is essential to make people move. I started
to look at it as a science, the art of making people move their butts,
speaking to their heart, mind and soul. It's a heart-felt rhythmic techno
sound. M-Plant is just M. minimal." |

Souma-owned flip black feature. No repress. Following its highly sought-after
Zamaan Ya Sukkar compilation, Souma Records once again presents a collection
of 3 singles with inimitably groovy Egyptian and Lebanese exotica, unearthed
from the hallowed vaults of Sono Cairo and Voix De L’Orient’s archives. These
rare gems, born from a time of boundless musical experimentation in the Arab
world, capture the vibrant, ever-evolving soundscapes of Cairo, Beirut, and
beyond. Each track invites listeners onto a sonic voyage where the familiar
and the avant-garde intertwine, revealing a sound that is as timeless as it
is revolutionary. Maggid Tewfik –
Mazzika Nicab Parts 1 & 2: Released in 1973, Mazzika Nicab by Egyptian
film director and iconic figure Maggid Tewfik is a trippy instrumental
journey into the experimental realms of baladi music. Known for his prolific
career as a director and DOP in over 30 Coptic films, Tewfik’s composition,
split in two parts, presents a moody yet undeniably cheeky tune that is
unlike anything found in Egyptian music over the ages. The track is a
hypnotic blend of Eastern rhythms and Latin grooves, featuring an early drum
machine that guides the track through its jubilant and stormy atmosphere.
This mechanical beat is paired with funky garage sounds, creating a
psychedelic fusion that evokes images of an epic cinematic score, where belly
dance meets the raw energy of late-60s experimental rock. Belly-dance sci-fi
perhaps..? Muhammad Al-Najjar. London, April 2025. credits: Audio restoration

Bordeaux-based
emerging talent Salomee deals in menacing and moody atmospheres, drawing on a
range of techno, electro, house, and the ill-lit corners in between.
Hypnotizing and neon-tinged melodies drive her tracks: these are bare bones,
high on repetition, and very compelling. They come backed by elaborate and
agile drum rhythms, composed with a rawness that references the most seasoned
inspirations. The Before Time Began EP sees the artist further develop her
sangfroid aesthetics with four tracks that assuredly reach beyond bunkers and
basements. On Sacred Gatherings, several entrancing, alternating arpeggios
work up a spark against a backdrop of tightly choreographed kicks and SH101
patterns. When the cut rises to a peak, a salvo of vocal chops drops - a rare
event in Salomee's discography, even though the samples are rearranged beyond
recognition. Before Time Began utilizes a similar palette, but this time, an
undercurrent of melancholy seems to propel the track. A leisurely modulated,
dubby sub segment amplifies the theme. By The Sea combines dark bass
sequences and strings as gloomy as a fog horn with vivid 909 drums. The highs
of the lavishly programmed hats and claps and the intense lead provide a slug
of energy. It is a rendition of trance, manipulating both the genre's and the
artist's signifiers. On Love Prevails, a slowly filtered, heavily delayed
lead is spread atop a Bristol techno style beat. An array of cinematographic
chords and subtly mixed gasps inject this closing track with a precarious
balance, one that explores the tension between yearning and relief |

In
Marking A Boundary With The Turning Point, Ard Bit and Radboud Mens explore
the tension between stasis and movement. Operating within the realm of drone
and electroacoustic music, they construct a sonic landscape where sustained
tones and microscopic events constantly shape and reshape each other. What
initially appears static reveals itself to be rich with detail: tiny acoustic
shifts breathe life into apparent stillness, inviting focused and attentive
listening. The album emerged from a process where sound research,
improvisation, and sound design merge. Self-built instruments, the search for
timbre and texture, and recordings of the learning process itself form the
foundation of these compositions. Rather than following a traditional musical
structure, the result is a sonic field in which the minimal continually
transforms, depending on the listener's perspective. Ard Bit (Ard Janssen) is
a composer, sound artist, and field recordist based in Rotterdam, trained at
the Institute of Sonology in The Hague. His work moves between improvisation
and system-based composition, exploring the space between ambient, drone, and
sound art. Radboud Mens is a sound artist with a decades-long practice
grounded in minimalism, acoustic subtlety, and physical resonance. His work
focuses on the perception of sound, the materiality of audio, and the
creation of spatial listening experiences. Together, they present a layered
and handcrafted album that doesn't narrate but questions. Marking A Boundary
With The Turning Point is not a boundary, it's an invitation to listen beyond
expectation |

For
the latest Klasse Wrecks release, the label combine with Japan's finest
festival and events crew Rainbow Disco Club to collaboratively present
WRECKSRDC. Overrocket were an electro-pop band from Tokyo that enjoyed a grip
of great releases in the early 2000s while signed to Neon Discs and its
parent label Aten. During a digging session Luca Lozano discovered the
forgotten tracks 'Duralumin' and 'Shadow of the Sun' and immediately set out
trying to contact the band's members to arrange a re-release and remix. A few
months of patient trying, the connection was finally made and wheels were set
in motion. Musically the EP conjures up perfectly the sonics of that time, a
grey area between analog convention and the unexplored territories of new
digital freedom. Shadow Of The Sun is electro-pop perfection, with breezy
vocals and a bouncing beat that sounds like nothing else around...past,
present or future. Duralumin is a more dancey collection of blips and beats,
one that will make sense in the current return to early 2000s aesthetics. To
round out the release and propel it into 2025, KW label bosses take a track
each and interpret in their own way. Lozano revisits his electro roots with
two remixes of Shadow of the Sun, distorted 808s and growling 101 basslines
provide a simple backdrop for the perfect vocals. Mr. Ho takes Duralumin into
a more driving and pacey direction, upping the energy and excitement with
fast percussion and a huge side chained breakdown that recalls the unbridled
rawness of the early 2000s, when everything was just a little bit more fun.
Keeping within the confines of Japan and in an effort to bring everything
full circle, the label enlisted Japanese artist Gonno to master the tracks
for an updated modern sound. The tracks themselves being mastered a few miles
from where they were originally penned over 20 years ago |

Nonverbal Language unveils its third chapter with CVRDWELL at
the helm, delivering two originals shaped by emotional depth and precise
sound design, backed by remixes from Casual Treatment and Mathys Lenne.
"The Message" blends groovy low-end, lush textures, and melancholic
energy into a powerful statement for the dancefloor. Casual Treatment (Hayes,
Token, Mord) transforms it into a deeper, hypnotic techno voyage.
"Haunted" descends into eerie, cinematic territory-slow, brooding,
and charged with tension. Mathys Lenne (Mord, Hayes, Float) amplifies the
unease with a remix that's both refined and fearsome |

The
latest transmission on Samurai tunes into half-time intensity with a
psychedelic edge courtesy of leading French practitioner Vardae. Applying
techno hypnotism and cinematic atmospheres to his snaking beat constructions,
the Lyon-based artist delivers a pitch-perfect exercise in mystical
meditation that follows a natural path from the Ancestral Voices LP. Since
first emerging around 2017, Vardae has been determined to establish a sound
unbound by genre restrictions. To date he's successfully moved between cult
labels such as Non Series and Ooda while pivoting from linear 4/4 to crooked
broken beat without disrupting his immersive, finely sculpted production
style. Alongside his releases, Vardae is also responsible for the ouroboros
festival that takes place every year in central France. Last summer, after
the dancefloor closed on the final night of the the event, fabled Dutch
transcendental ambient group Son Of Chi made an acoustic concert around the
campfire that cast a spell over everyone present. This experience formed the
inspirational basis for Vardae's new EP, drawing on the instinctive power of
insistent rhythm and the spiritual intrigue that lies behind subtly dissonant
tones - shadows cast by refined, restrained synthesis flickering in the
imagined light of the flames. From the rattle of timbale on 'The Light
Motion' to the laser-focused ripples that charge through 'Voices Of
Dispossession', Vardae bends and shapes his drum work with exacting intention
across this EP. Treading the line between 85 and 170BPM, he approaches fierce
peaks in his tracks with an exacting patience, building to the arp-soaked
climax of 'Flaming As A Cloud' and its ecstatic, melodic crescendo. Proudly
individual and drawing from the deepest of musical experiences, Vardae's
latest statement promises similarly profound moments when these pieces come
into contact with the right souls and the right sound in the right setting |

electro-acoustic, neo-classical, score music, and musique concrete, creating
a unique sonic space. Catching the subtle nuances of self-reflection, this
chamber-like, intimate work is primarily directed toward the subconscious and
intuitive perception. The structure and form are driven by emotion, while
aesthetics take a back seat, giving way to pure sense. The compositions
capture moments of insight, spontaneity, and live improvisation. Delicate yet
expressive, carefree yet precise, "V" is a deeply immersive and
personal experience |

Perc
& Passarella Death Squad's cult classic 'Temperature's Rising' returns
for a special 15th anniversary release with an updated 2025 mix of the track
from Perc himself. Since its original release on French label In Fine back in
2010and it's re-release on Perc Trax in 2016 the track has continued to grow
across multiple vinyl pressings and now boasts over 1.5 million streams
across all digital platforms. 'Temperature's Rising' never needed a big remix
package or tobe transformed into some trend chasing hard techno banger, but
Perc's 2025 remix subtly modernises the track, raising its tempo and giving
it the extra dance floor muscle that fans of the original mix have been
asking for. Perc is the only person he would trust to retouch a track that means
so much to him and Passarella Death Squad and he displays a deftness of touch
on this reworking, keeping the mysterious atmosphere of the original mix
whilst making it perfect for today's DJs and dance floors. Temperature's
Rising 2025 will be released on magenta transparent colored vinyl with new
artwork by Danny Passarella, which builds upon the visual aesthetic of the
2016 Perc Trax release |

Before releasing their sophomore album 'Make It Up' this year,
FEET released two single 'Can't Get In' and 'Changing My Mind Again'. Both of
these singles are fan favourites both streaming and in the bands live set. As
these singles have never before been released on a physical format, and FEET
have never released a 7inch vinyl pressing before, this would promise to be
very exciting chance for fans to own one! |

Loscil
(aka Scott Morgan) returns to kranky with Lake Fire, a nine-track offering of
ash-laden sonics that mine the tension within the cycle of destruction and
rejuvenation. Lake Fire is the result of a disjointed creative process.
Originally conceived as a suite for electronics and ensemble, most of the
original compositions were deserted, save for Ash Clouds, featuring James
Meager on double bass. The remaining tracks were reshaped and remixed, built
anew out of the remnants of the abandoned work. The result is a phoenix, an
album burnt to the ground only to be reassembled out of its cinders.
Fragments of the original lurk beneath a densely overpainted canvas of sound.
Infused into the resulting rearrangements are impressions from a road trip
into the mountains marking a personal half-century milestone, surrounded by
the ominous proximity of wildfires and dense smoke; celebrating life while
the world burns. The album’s title comes from the striking irony that forest
fires are often named after regional lakes - perhaps subconsciously
referencing ancient lore. The cover photos were taken from this same trip,
while sitting in a rowboat staring into the grey abyss of an opposing
mountainside outside of Revelstoke, BC, obfuscated by smoke from a nearby lake

Limited to 1000, individually
numbered copies on orange coloured vinyl. This LP is a 20th Anniversary
edition of a now extremely rare and sought after album originally from 2005.
Anticipation of such a reissue has been high for years, and in high demand from
fans who missed out the first time around as original was also limited. The
music goes far beyond FSOL’s electronica signature, descriptions include ‘the
sickest psychedelic rock ever’, a sound that ‘engulfs you in psychedelic
ambience’ and ‘probably the most brilliant thing Brian Dougans & Garry
Cobain have ever done’. A masterpiece |

Gina
X makes her way to Dark Entries for Greatest Fits, a compilation of gems and
jams from the eccentric New Wave icon. Gina X Performance was formed in
Cologne in 1978 when art history student and chanteuse Gina Kikoine teamed up
with synth wizard Zeus B. Held. Inspired by Patti Smith and Lou Reed, Kikoine
aimed to create "the absolute union of music, poetry and travesty,"
a lofty goal that she most certainly would achieve. 1979 saw the release of
the classic first LP, Nice Mover, which put Held’s lush electronic production
in dialogue with Gina X’s deadpan delivery. Songs explore androgyny,
decadence, and avant-garde art in a fashion that is stylish, sexy, and more
than a touch transgressive. Nice Mover quickly became a cult favorite thanks
to tracks like the euphoric “Nice Mover” and the dancefloor bomb “No G.D.M.”,
dedicated to queer icon Quentin Crisp. Three more LPs followed in the coming
years: X-Traordinaire in 1980; Voyeur in 1981; and Yinglish in 1984. The duo
continued their genre deviance throughout, exploring uptempo space disco on
“Strip Tease,” punk-laced New Wave on “Babylon Generation,” and icy
electro-pop on “French Lift.” Greatest Fits is the first-ever double LP
compilation of Gina X material. The 17 tracks on Greatest Fits were selected
by Kikoine and Held, reflecting the duo’s most cherished moments from their
wide-ranging catalog. The record comes housed in a gatefold sleeve designed
by Eloise Shir-Juen Leigh featuring press clippings and photographs, and
includes an insert with lyrics and memories about each song from Kikoine and

When
Daichi Furukawa showed up on our radar in 2018, it was at a time when the ESP
Institute was loosely focusing on (our obtuse version of) club-friendly
releases, but upon our first listen to his Ground demos that would become his
debut 2xLP 'Sunizm', we immediately threw accessibility out the window again.
Ground is technically from Osaka, but we believe he’s actually from another
planet, merely passing through, collecting data from all aspects of Earth—be
it organic, animal, chemical, or human-made fodder. Perhaps his clan found
the “Golden Record” on our space junk Voyager 1 and considered our attempt at
self-representation oblivious, mediocre, laughable, and decided to come show
us how it could be done properly. After the inimitable 'Sunizm', a slew of
singles and remixes, and follow-up EP entitled 'Wakusei', we’re proud to
finally present the long-awaited 2xLP, 'Yaoyorozoo'. Once again, Daichi steps
into some hybrid-of-hybrids territory—a truly mutant fusion of culture and
sonics that should make no sense at all, but his confidence (and disregard
for public comprehension) shows no mercy in thrusting his vision upon us.
'Yaoyorozoo' is both ancient and future, primitive and advanced, tribal and
lone wolf—a mélange of human success and failure, a cerebral scraping of
consciousness, a granular paste of Earthly artefacts smeared across 73
minutes. Moments of undeniable beauty devolve into heavy and uncomfortable
hallucinations, voices speak to us from hidden spaces in the soundstage… or
do they? Scenes are set just long enough for the listener to accept one
reality, only to be abruptly disoriented by jarring elements that pull our
subconscious center-stage and question our sense of perception. What the fuck
is actually happening here? Everything evolves tangentially, much like dream
abstractions—or this press release itself—testing the limits of audience
patience and laughing at any semblance of what’s acceptable, functional, or
conventional |

Another reissued gem from Network. Inner City’s sojourn at
Network resulted in a series of classic recordings. As well as perfectly
crafted vocal tracks including “Your Love”, “Share My Life” and “Do Me RIght”
it meant that Kevin Saunderson could also return to his Techno roots with
underground Inner City tracks. None more so than the wonderful “Ahnonghay”
which perfectly joined the dots between electronica and the brutal urgency of
Kevin’s Reese persona which helped shape the early Detroit Techno landscape.
This 12 contains the Saunderson original plus wonderfully contrasting remixes
from Detroit’s Carl Craig and the UK’s Dave Clarke which were equally
acclaimed when released on Network’s six6 label |

Drawn
from a live composition and distilled into eleven personal mantras, Raar's
Incentive unfolds as a long-player sonic rite, tracing a path through a wind
chamber. A narrative pulled into motion by a propulsive undercurrent. The air
shifts. The eleventh opus in Omen Wapta's lineage begins with flickers at the
edge of vision. No clear path, just shapes that rise and vanish in the
periphery. The air carries tension. A summons breathes from below, hovering
between clarity and wandering dust. The pace fractures. Long enough to feel
it pass: a shadow, a pulse, a question. The chase tightens. Inside the
rhythm. Inside the self. Overtones shiver. The wind doesn't stop. It carries
what remains. Incentive carves deeper into Raar's terrain. Untethered, inward,
and elemental. He sculpts in weight and pressure, low-end as bedrock. FX
opens the ground between weight and light. Tape compression binds the vessel.
Beneath, a drone exhales. Charged with trace. Every track, a step. Each
pause, a turn. Guided to feel, not to grasp |

Hikari to Kage is the next
chapter in the story of Wabi Sabi Audio Imprint, diving into the experimental
and ambient realms of electronic music. This beautiful album comes from the
hands of Sarah Wreath, a German artist whose unique approach to sound exploration
captured our hearts the moment we saw her live at Monument. The album It's a
narrative, an introspective journey that doesn't tell you what to feel but
gently guides you toward your own perspective. Three incredible remixes by DJ
Hi-C, Pianeti Sintetici, and Jorge Fons bring their own vision of Sarah's
music, each artist weaving their own story within Sarah's framework. Like Yin
and Yang, light and shadow exist in balance, defining the beauty of the
other-this is Hikari to Kage |

6-track
house finesse from Amsterdam mainstay Beraber, topped off with a killer remix
by Brazilian artist Zopelar. Expect six melodic tracks for the body &
mind. Beraber returns to United Identities with Gentle Actions, setting the
tone for long summer evenings and sun-soaked days. The Amsterdam based
producer and DJ organically blends Chicago's classically-schooled keys and
machine backdrops with subtle, atmospheric textures. This long-awaited record
by Beraber (Baris Akardere) is a deeply personal collection of music,
encapsulating a period of creative and personal growth. Rather than a concept
record, it serves as a document of the past years, bundling some of most
cherished productions into a cohesive and heartfelt gift to the audience.
This EP marks the first time the producer has used his own vocals in his
productions, next to vocal contributions from Barcelona-based artist Ivy
Barkakati, whose lyrics perfectly resonate with the journey of the EP. Gentle
Actions opens with Between Us, a calm builder, gracefully layered with
meandering pads. Distant Language picks us up with its dubbed-out groove,
guiding our feet on a journey through melodic landscapes. It flows into
Responsibility, an introspective track with a powerful message about turning
dreams into reality, before continuing with Lost in Loops, a loose and
soulful house cut featuring his own vocals. The journey ends with the more
upbeat, instrumental Good Company, topped off with a deep, nocturnal remix by
Zopelar. Written and produced entirely in his Amsterdam studio -- housed in
the same building that once held De School -- Beraber continues to rely on a
deeply analog and outboard gear-heavy approach. The result is a record that
stays true to his soulful and introspective signature, mirroring the sonic
identity of his acclaimed radio show, Gentle Actions on Amsterdam's online
radio station RRFM |
