Masters, Wh0 has since made his mark as a solo act with sold-out shows at
places like Printworks, XOYO and Fabric. The Wh0 Plays and Wh0 Worx label
boss boasts production credits for artists like Ten City, Royksopp and Idris
Elba and collaborations with the likes of David Penn, David Morales and Nile
Rodgers, with his work often topping digital charts and his Spotify clocking
up more than a million streams a month. Radio Slave’s Rekids was founded in
2006 and has since spawned successful off shoots with the Techno-focused
Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its newest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. With
Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been crucial in developing early
artist careers and has become a haven for established acts operating in House

Taapion
returns with a fine deep techno by PVNV who takes us on a interstellar deep
space journey with this third chapter of Taapion records. Down to the A side,
PVNV introduce the EP with Consortium. A kind of ambient layers, soft pads,
woody reverbed elements give a feeling of hope in a dark context. A travel in
a timeless air course. The overlayed but slightly merged pads, give a feeling
of a group of persons like a community, wich is leading to an hopefull goal
on a gloomy way. Then comes Intrasolaar on A2, the track is deffinitly more
fitted for a dance floor, a mental loop wich holds you on this spatial field.
The deep pads give a feeling of wide space graven on the speed of the rythm
section and the bells patterns. Looking at the B side, STERAC aka Steve
Rachmad is reshaping Consortium. The remix is definitly keeping the main idea
of the track. It gives a rythm accent by using 808's elments and transforms
the ambient side into a beautyfull and powerfull club track. Then comes
Shlomo's remix of Intrasolaar on B2. Straight, effective, the second label's
owner is showing is techno side by withholding pads more than often, focus on
this very well crafted rythm part |

is standing on A2 with Dreaming Of The Tesseract. He is building up a hudge
loop with the Devil's tension and driving the cinematics Leads as an Horror

This is the second full album
that is self-produced and strongly reflects his own artistic color. It

A few weeks ago, Brigade Loco
officially announced that they will release their third album in the coming
months. The band from Gipuzkoa, with seven years of trajectory, will release
their new full-length under the title"Bide baten esanahia" ("The
meaning of a road"). This new album will finally be released in February
2025. As usual, the album has been recorded at the Sound of Sirens studio in
Iruña under the supervision of technician Julen Urzaiz. This album is a firm
step forward for a band that wants to evolve and write its own trajectory
without repeating chapters previously made. In view of this, the band says
they are very excited about the project. It has been more than a year of work
and effort before this ambitious project sees the light of day, and they are
looking forward to sharing their new tunes with their audience. Brigade Loco
are about to start a very important episode in their career. An episode with

Made In Japan is the third album
by Japanese rock band Flower Travellin' Band, released in 1972. After meeting
Lighthouse at the Expo '70 festival in Osaka, Flower Travellin' Band were
invited to visit Canada. While there, the group recorded Made in Japan with
Lighthouse keyboardist Paul Hoffert helping produce. Due to George Wada
becoming ill with tuberculosis, Canadian drummer Paul DeLong plays on some
tracks on this album. The lyrics were written by Yoko Nomura, the wife of the
band's manager, who translated conversations she had with the group and their
ideas into English. 'Heaven and Hell' was written by Yamanaka in Japanese and
she translated it. The song 'Hiroshima' is a re-imagining of 'Satori Part
III' from their previous album Satori. The introductory first track is an
advertisement for a concert at Stanley Park Stadium by Flower Travellin'
Band, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Bob Seger and Teegarden & Van Winkle,
with a clip of 'Lucky Man' playing in the background |

Oi!/Streetpunkers Non Servium from Madrid, formed in 1997, presenting a fully
remastered best of in the form of new vinyl compilation "Street Songs
Since 1997" via Loikaemiess Fettfleck Records. The band's current lineup
includes vocalist Carlos, guitarists Snoker and Ivi, bassist Gordo, and
drummer Niño with Carlos and Snoker being the core members throughout the
band's career and on all their albums. Non Servium's music is primarily
defined as Oi! or "Brutal Oi!" with influences from punk, street
punk , and hardcore punk . Their fast-paced drum rhythms and strong bass and
guitar lines are a defining characteristic. Their lyrics are politically
charged, although themes about punk , skinhead , and hooligan culture are
also present .They are Spain's greatest exponent of Oi! with an "
anti-fascist " theme (singing in Spanish) along with bands like Madrid's
Kaos Urbano and Núcleo Terco. The band has released seven proper studio
albums so far and it's worth noting a slight difference in style between
debut album and the subsequent ones, which are characterized by a more
forceful sound closer to hardcore. Four years ago a CD-only "Greatest
Hits" has been released, but this new compilation is Vinyl-only, has a different
tracklist and all tracks have been remastered. Classic black vinyl! |

17 marks both a return and a new frontier. It is the second album on the
label from Patricia Wolf, whose 2022 album See-Through is one of the most
beloved in Balmat's catalog; it also marks the first time that Wolf has
turned her hand to a film soundtrack. The results are every bit as magical as
fans of the Portland, Oregon, composer's music might expect.
Hrafnamynd--Icelandic for "raven film"--is a new feature-length
documentary by experimental filmmaker Edward Pack Davee. Shot on a mix of
film and digital formats, and incorporating his father's Ektachrome slides
from the 1970s, the autobiographical film works on multiple levels at once: a
reminiscence of his childhood in Iceland, an exploration of landscape and
folklore, and a documentary study of the island nation's ravens--including a
talking raven named Krummi. Wolf is the perfect artist to score such an
unusual film. Mixing ambient music and field recording--including extensive
experience documenting bird song--Wolf brings an unusually empathic
perspective to her music. In the context of Hrafnamynd, her airy melodies,
pensive atmospheres, and vivid textures intuitively complement the film's
grainy film stock and blown-out colors. Friends for years, the two artists
further bonded when Wolf asked Pack to film music videos for her songs
"Woodland Encounter" (from See-Through) and "The Culmination
Of" (from I'll Look For You In Others). Pack used Wolf's previously
recorded music as placeholders as he began assembling a rough cut of the
film, which made her a natural choice to help him complete his idiosyncratic
vision with an all-new, bespoke score. But Wolf's soundtrack also
indisputably stands alone as a full-length album. Largely created using the
UDO Super 6 synthesizer, it features a carefully distilled palette of warm,
string-like pads and darkly glistening mallets, rounded out with the very
occasional introduction of nylon string guitar. Musically and stylistically,
the album's 11 tracks represent both a continuation of the ruminative sound
of See-Through and also an extension into new expressive modes. Few
musicians, ambient or otherwise, are as skilled at balancing melody with
atmosphere, or at finding ways to eke fresh at finding ways to eke fresh,
surprising sounds out of an intentionally reduced toolkit. Meditative,
immersive, and emotionally generous Wolf's Hrafnamynd soundtrack evokes a
range of ambient classics from decades past while confidently marking out its
own verdant patch of ground |

Lascelles
Perkins was one of the first stars of the Jamaican music scene. Studio Ones
leading balladeer and one of the most underrated singers from that time.
Lascelles Perkins sang sentimental ballads and he scored massive local hits
for Coxsone Dodds Studio One label. Songs like ""Lonely
Moments"" and ""Together Forever"" other big
hits followed ""The Mighty Organ"" song as a duet with
Hortense Ellis, Alton Ellis sister, ""Destiny"" and a
whole catalogue of standards or foreign songs as they were called. Lascelles
could sing any song, make it seem effortless and at the same time address it
in his own unique style. Lascelles Perkins was present at the birth of Studio
One, at the initial sessions carried out in 1959 alongside the other big
singers of the day, Alton Ellis and Basil Gabbidone. The session took place
at Federal Studios and as was the method of recording at the time, the studio
would have one mic hanging down in the middle of the room. The singer would
be nearest to the mic and the musicians, depending on how loud their
instrument was, would place themselves accordingly in the room. Everything
was one take or you would have to record the whole song again. The singers
and the musicians would have to be at the top of their game and would be paid
for each side they cut. Doing things over would mean less songs finished,
time and money was tight but this discipline made the great records we know
today. We have captured Mr Perkins on some lost tapes from producer Bunny
Lees archive that capture Lascelles singing some of the big Studio One hits
of the day. ""Rain from the Skies"", ""Stick By
Me"", 2Love me Forever"" and ""No Man is an
Island"". Alongside other great tunes from the time like
""Dancing Mood"", ""Pledging My
Love"", ""Take My Hand"", ""Never
Never"" and ""Dinner For One"". Lets hope this
set gets Lascelles Perkins back on the musical map and listened to by a whole
new audience. Top tunes performed in a style that seems effortless yet is
only possible if one has the taken tot pull it off and Mr Perkins has it in
bundles. Hope you enjoy the set... |

Rolling Stones' "Beggars Banquet" (Decca, 1968) from 1968. Sometime
later, the band said they were not aware of the resemblance when the final
design of the album was decided. The recording and mixing were once again in
the hands of Jean Phocas. The double-sheet inside, which contains only the
lyrics in three languages (Spanish, Basque and English), is particularly
noteworthy. On this occasion, the album's production seems to have a guitar
sound that is perhaps more powerful than on other occasions. At times it even

this LP exists it is thanks to the vision, energies, work and perseverance of
Thomas M. Lopez, aka Meatball Fulton. He is the president and one of the
founding members of the ZBS Foundation (ZBS stands for Zero Bullshit), where
the audio dramas written by Lopez himself were born. Dramatic programs with
stories that blended noir, comedy and science-fiction genres such as 'Ruby
The Galactic Gumshoe' or 'Jack Flanders' were produced to critic and public
acclaim. It was in 'Ruby The Galactic Gumshoe' that the Android Sisters, who
would later have their own spin-off series, first appeared. The characters
represent two robotic siblings that Tom Lopez created under big influence
from 'Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?,' the Philip K. Dick novel that
was taken to cinema by Ridley Scott in 'Blade Runner.' The Androids were
performed by actresses Ruth Maleczech and Valeria Wasilewski. The big success
of these "cosmic and comic" sci-fi series, as they are described in
the ZBS Foundations website, led to the releasing of cassette tapes, CDs,
USBs and podcasting of the stories. Along with these, several music albums
were also released in different formats. One of them is 'Songs Of Electric
Despair,' the first of two released by the Android Sisters. The songs
contained are written by Tom Lopez and his long time collaborator
experimental musician Tim Clark. The Android Sisters' 'Songs Of Electronic
Despair' LP was originally released as a ZBS Foundation cassette and also as
a vinyl LP on Vanguard in 1984. It featured 11 compositions (two bonus tracks
not on the original LP have been added to the Wah Wah reissue) on which the
experimental synthesizer music of Tim Clark finds a perfect counterpoint in
the deliciously surrealistic, cosmic social satire of Tom Lopez's texts,
magically performed by the robotic, yet sensual voices of the Android Sisters
as performed by Maleczech and Wasilewski. Clark composed and performed the
backing tracks on the Synclavier II synthesizer. The Wah Wah reissue comes with
two bonus tracks not on the original 1984 LP, respects the beautiful original
album artwork and enhances it with a 4 pages full colour insert with notes
and lyrics of the songs. Barbarella meets Phillip K. Dick! RIYL: Synth p[op

In Echoes of Fractured Light, Anechoic
explores the fluid interplay between light and shadow. Each track becomes an
auditory representation of light as it bends, scatters, and reflects through
space and time. Subtle shifts in illumination are mirrored in the evolving
sound design, tones morph and shimmer, rhythms fracture and reassemble, and
layers of sound drift in and out of focus like fleeting shadows cast by
shifting light. Every piece captures a moment of change, sound refracting
into something new, expanding and contracting like breath across vast sonic
landscapes. Natural reverberation plays a key role, much like how light
lingers, fades, and reflects in its surroundings, shaping the atmosphere in
unseen ways |

It’s a follow-up long in the
making as Ukrainian artist Volodymyr Gnatenko re-enters Kalahari orbit.
Somewhere between submerged video game OST and ritual incantation, Mershiy LP
recalls the finest psychoacoustic ambient dub the ‘90s had to offer. Less direct
than the previous album, allowing space for IDM introspection and some proper
contemplation. A mind-melt but keeping it widescreen and pretty meticulous
throughout. Imagined vistas shot in pristine 4K, impeccably crafted with
close listening in mind. Repeated listens reveal more insectoid detail and a
knack for detailed sonic immersion. A 6-track zone-out where diaphanous
texture makes way for ominous dread as the narrative unfurls. Balancing urges

Jinx. Hailing from the outer suburbs of Barcelona these days spend their days
in the studio re-imagining rave classics and building them in their own
magical way. The Rave Generation e.p. Is DJ Friendly with intro's and Outro's
on all 4 tracks. They have used all the original samples that got banned or
removed back in the 90's to build 4 dancefloor monsters for DJ's only. Their
intention and motivation for their music is to bring the euphoric sound of

- Tried So Hard: Intensely atmospheric from the outset, Tried So Hard sees
ASC explore a more minimal approach to breakbeats with sparse drums and kicks
tentatively held at arm's length by imposing hi hats. Dripping with depth and
a dense layer of synthwork enveloping the landscape, this unique track
develops continually with a suite of interlocking effects while the vocal
yearns "I've tried so hard" - both haunting and thought provoking.
A2 - Parallel Seas: Cheery synths and lively bongos introduce us to Parallel
Seas, which quickly becomes a glorious, powerful amen workout providing that
perfect blend of atmospheric bliss alongside crunchy, analogue amens
programmed with ASC's exquisite attention to detail - crashing triumphantly
to an upbeat rhythm, littered with rousing vocal hits, elegant synthwork and
nods to yesteryear galore. AA1 - Alacrity: An energetic, surging breakbeat
powers Alacrity as ASC utilises breaks reminiscent of classic driving
atmospheric tracks of the past from scene legends including Intense and
Artemis. Uniquely constructed with a pulsating, fluid energy, the break
pattern utilises relentless kicks, cymbals and a wonderful long snare primed
to move the dancefloor as synths wash and a lush vocal whooshes along in
ecstasy. AA2 - Glimmer Of Hope: Jumping straight in with a DJ-friendly beat
intro, ASC selects a crisp, definitive selection of old school cuts for
Glimmer of Hope, chopped and served with a barrage of sci-fi effects, micro
melodies, a bellowing, rumbling bassline and a serene intensity driven by
dreamy pads resulting in a perfect patchwork of elements, offering endless
