Music, the Barcelona-based imprint known for its sun-drenched blend of house
and disco since 2010, proudly presents the new EP by one of its
longest-standing artists: Cisco Cisco. Portuguese duo Cisco Cisco are
renowned for crafting emotional and uplifting house and disco, filled with
hypnotic sampling and shimmering effects. Their sound has become a signature
of Apersonal’s catalog, and The Heat EP is a glowing continuation of this. On
the A side “Why Can’t I Be You?” brings classic disco energy to the table —
lush, melodic, and full of that heartfelt groove Cisco Cisco do so well. Plus
returning to remix duties alongside Cisco Cisco is Ron Basejam, whose
unmatched ability to transform disco originals into dancefloor monsters
shines once again. His remix of “Why Can’t I Be You?” stretches nearly eight
minutes, slowly building and wrapping the listener in a deep, infectious
groove. On the B side “The Heat” is a bold detour into early-2000s French
electro house, evoking the raw drive of the 2000s. “Under the Bridge”
channels the spirit of a Generation X Parisian house party, with filtered
synths and punchy basslines reminiscent of Daft Punk’s earliest work. And
rounding out the EP Rayko delivers on his finest style, bringing a darker,
late-night vibe to the release. His remix of “The Heat” is a driving,

Franky
Wah makes Crosstown Rebels debut with ‘Disconnect’ EP, featuring Kuuda. Out
on 20th June 2025, the four-tracker sees the acclaimed UK producer make his
first appearance on the revered imprint. A producer known for balancing
dancefloor energy with introspective songwriting, Franky Wah’s rise has been
fuelled by a string of chart-topping singles, non-stop global club and
festival appearances, and the launch of his own imprint and event brand,
SHÈN. With musical influences stretching from trance and breakbeat to
afro-house and techno, he now brings that rich sound palette to the Crosstown
fold for the first time with a release that’s equal parts euphoric and deep
as it is driving. Delivering a powerful and emotionally charged four-track
release, 'Disconnect' showcases the Yorkshire-born artist’s blend of
underground grit and melodic sophistication, featuring two standout
collaborations with rising vocal trio Kuuda. Opening the EP, the title track
pairs swirling textures, brooding basslines and crisp percussion with
commanding vocals, setting the tone for the journey ahead. The synergy
continues on ‘Off The Wall’, a hazy, late-night jam elevated by Kuuda’s
signature warped vox interjections. On the flip, ‘Desert Dance’ continues
further into hypnotic territory with wicked bass licks and layered synth
work, before closing track ‘Freak In The Sheets’ delivers another impactful,
heads-down groove laced with attitude. Featured on two of the EP’s four cuts,
Brighton-based trio Kuuda continue to emerge as a rapidly ascending vocal
project within electronic music. Known for their genre-fluid songwriting and
dynamic live presence, their collaborations with Hot Since 82, Yousef and

of the biggest tunes of 2011 gets a reload on Hotflush with a brand new remix
from house legend Mr. G. Hotflush label boss Scuba was a dubstep exile in
Berlin running parties at Berghain in 2011, following the release of his
landmark album Triangulation the previous year. The SCB project had been
launched as a platform for his productions outside of the 140 realm,
anticipating a stylistic move that would make a serious impact on the dance
scene at large. ‘Loss’ was released on Aus Music that March, proceeded to
destroy dancefloors across the globe, and ended the year at number 7 in RA’s
‘Top Tracks of 2011’. In 2025, it retains the unique combination of minimal
elegance and trance power that gave it such impact all those years ago. UK
house mastermind Mr. G steps up with a trademark remix - uncompromising in

Born Producer Lady Tazz, debuts ‘Sleaze’ with a killer remix from Radio Slave
this June. At the heart of Lady Tazz’s mission is Mind Medizin, her label and
event series that champions the sound of kindred spirits, now inviting Radio
Slave to the mix this June. Lady Tazz has overcome many cultural obstacles to
achieve her rightful place as one of Toronto’s foremost electronic dance
exports. A renegade of sorts, as a teenager, she would regularly visit the UK
and Germany without her parents’ knowledge to attend London’s Sound Academy
and to party in Berlin, whilst continuing to pursue her aspirations of
becoming a DJ. The Bangladeshi producer and DJ is proud of her heritage but
is realistic about the social expectations of throwing raves in her hometown.
She moved to Toronto in her teenage years, where she grew up, educating
herself on music and a place that has perfected a sound that remains organic
and raw. Her record label and party series, Mind Medizin, taps into an erotic
lifestyle that embraces the unconventional and free-spirited, which inspires
and motivates Lady Tazz on numerous artistic levels. For Mind Medzin’s latest
release, Lady Tazz will drop ‘Sleaze’ on the 27th June, to include a special
remix from Rekids founder and UK godfather, Radio Slave, making his debut on
her label. Foreboding and dripping with lascivious intent, ‘Sleaze’ brazenly
stalks into existence by way of warping synth fills and glitching hi-hats.
The lyrical component consists of a series of smouldering vocal hooks which
salaciously enrapture one’s senses, tightly wrapping around the creeping
melody before succumbing to the beat’s stomping dominance. On the flipside,
Radio Slave’s remix revs and fires with shots of ringing overtones atop a
deep thud, husky vocal and swooshing cymbals. Whilst upping the ante of the
original, its stripped-back charm remains, culminating in a moody, chugging
rework bubbling with tension and fraught with Radio Slave’s brand of dark,

Introspekt’s
hotly anticipated debut album Moving The Center comes nearly a year after the
release of her latest EP Tectónica. Set to be released on June 20th, Moving
the Center sees Introspekt play homage to dubstep’s point of genesis in South
London in order to then shift the center of focus from a singular point of
origin, to a more global narrative of bass and vibration. The album blends UK
bass with contrasting genres like garage and ballroom, creating the perfect
feminine blend of these historically masculine genres. The album merges the
Black diaspora from across the Atlantic, crafting a sonic world where past,
present and future are parallel and immersed in an early millennium type
dubstep soundscape. Speaking about the album, Introspekt says, “‘Moving The
Center’ embodies an alternate perspective to that which has been dominant in
dance music, particularly so-called ‘bass music’. The narrative it presents
is one which throws a wrench in the seemingly common perception of Dubstep as
a masculinist sensibility. ‘Moving The Center’ pushes a feminine physicality

Trouser Tricks was the unreleased
debut album by West London punk band Ack Ack, formed in the
Twickenham/Isleworth area in l977. The album was recorded in l98O at TW Music
Studio, a small studio tucked away on Fulham Palace Road, capturing the raw,
unfiltered energy that defined the band's sound. Despite initial interest
from several record labels, including some major ones, the album was never
officially released due to the economic recession and the growing belief that
punk had run its course. These tracks provide a rare glimpse into a pivotal

There are no gimmicks on Ckaos
Total, just simple three and four-chord riffs, a driving drumbeat (you can
guess which one), and thoughtful lyrics delivered with power and passion.
Tempos vary from fast, to really fast, to ultra fast, with most songs in the
latter category. Without studio effects, silly costumes, or metal chops to
distract, the focus falls on the songs themselves, which distill a profound
sense of hopelessness and frustration into a few defiant words to yell into
the void. In their lyrics and artwork, Tàrrega 91' continues to draw
inspiration from the 1991 uprising in their town that ended with the arrest

Some time back just after then and before now, i was approached
to work up a rough working script for a Punk Rock film, based on a boys entre
into the whole Punk Arena and how it would affect his life. A loosely updated
tale somewhere along the lines of a ‘Punk Quadrophenia’. After many stop /
starts and we are waiting for funding… etc, etc... and changing of ideas. I
thought I better just get on with it. I worked up twelve tracks and put an
opening script together for approval. Like some of the best made plans, as
time moved on, so did the theme and the initial rush of enthusiasm rolled on
to somewhere else. A shame but lurking in the back of Punk Art studios the
tapes were found and a bent up copy of the working introduction script. So
here it is in all its rough and ready glory. Who knows what might have been
but here is some of what could have been… hope you enjoy the idea |

The music of the Colombian Pacific is one of the greatest

songs recorded on anthologies, which are largely a forgotten chapter of
Colombia's musical history. It comprises genres such as currulao and chirimía
and many others that are yet to be discovered by most Latin music lovers.
Heavy drumming combines with hypnotic vocals and the sounds of the marimba,
clarinet and euphonium in this selection of Afro-Colombian music from the
Pacific Coast. This compilation includes recordings by artists like:
Gertrudis Bonilla, Peregoyo y su Combo Vacaná, Markitos Micolta, La Sonora
del Pacífico de Cachito Vidal, Julián y su Combo, Buscajá. in an outstanding
selection of songs that covers the early 70s through the 00s and are reissued

is a tribute & was made during a place of sadness & grief for two
amazing humans we lost last years, Rob Maguire on 18 december 2023 &
Lea-Rose Besson aka Radical Softness on 15 February 2024. They were the most
unconditional loving persons I ever met, sharing love, breathing love,
teaching us so much about being better everyday, leaving us as their mission
on Earth were completed. Still, the ones who stay, stand still. With only our
memories to remember their souls, being infused by their aura of life
forever. Its from those people when you feel instantly good around, making
you feel comfortable, loving yourself more, accepting yourself & being
vulnerable while powerful. From all over the world and especially in Berlin,
many of us where impacted so much by their kindness and souls, offering us a
space to be heard & seen, when so many of us couldn't. We all know that
it was such a privilege to knew them & shared wisdom with and timeless
experiences, being kids around old souls, teaching us how to love beyond time
& space. Its from this place that most of the tracks of this EP were
created, fighting for resilience through dark times. I felt the need to make
them this tribute while healing from pain to find love in myself and others.
Being grateful for everything that happens in life even if it never last.
Gaman, from the Japanese means, perseverance. That illustrate never giving up
on ourselves, our dreams, our life, keep shining one day after the other,
because being alive is the most unique privilege we will ever have. While
everything is temporary, music still belong, making them heard a little bit

The Demon Singles Club series continues to offer-up classic
disco and boogie cuts on 7" singles. For the series' latest release,
they've once again mined the vaults of the iconic SAM Records imprint,
emerging with the 1980 debut single from Glen Adams Affair. A-side 'Just A
Groove' is a genuine boogie-era disco classic - a Clavinet heavy, B-boy and
B-girl friendly workout rich in rubbery disco bass, sustained piano motifs,
crunchy drums and a typically celebratory lead vocal, whose lyrics extol the
joys of a 'groove to make you move'. Over on the flip side you'll find
original B-side 'We've Got To Make It', a pleasingly up-tempo, flash-fried
disco-funk floor filler that makes great use of heady slap bass and spacey
synths |

“The Morgan’s Wave” returns in a fresh and contemporary form. Born in 2003
from the creative meeting between vocalist Caroline Eloy and producers
Patrick Ketels and Xavier Romain, the track first gained attention through
David Altrix (Galaxie Radio), and was signed by Diki Records in 2004 on its
sub-label Green Valley. In 2025, the idea to revive the track came from
Caroline Eloy—now performing as Ce’Loy—who teamed up once again with David
Altrix to envision a remix with a modern twist, keeping the original lyrics
and piano melody while exploring a new musical direction. They entrusted the
remix to Narik (Freegrant Music, Bonzai Progressive, EinMusika), whose
timeless production style brings a unique reinterpretation of the track. His
version features deep, emotional textures and a subtle deconstruction of the
vocal part, blending nostalgia with innovation. Now released on Clair Obscur,
this 2025 remix also serves as a heartfelt tribute to Patrick Ketels, who
sadly passed away a few years ago. “The Morgan’s Wave (Narik 2025 Remix)”
bridges eras with elegance — a moving reinvention of a beloved track,
available soon on both vinyl and digital formats |

DJ Plant Texture drops ambitious techno odyssey 'Mondo Nuovo' on Mutual Rytm
sub-label, X. Bari-based underground mainstay Dona Basile, aka DJ Plant
Texture, has been crafting forward-thinking techno for a decade, releasing on
leading labels from Ilian Tape to Tresor Berlin. Adding to his rich
catalogue, his label debut on SHDW's Mutual Rytm sub-label X is a homage to
the spirit of space travel. With the label boss already a long-time fan and
having dropped tracks from this EP in his sets for a while, the partnership
creates an ideal match for an artist and label looking to push the boundaries
of the genre. With Basile's distinctive style perfectly fitting with the
label's vision, each of the productions provides a tribute to space
exploration - fusing analogue hardware and deep rhythmic invention while
channelling everything from early sci-fi cinema to the 80s ambient
soundtracks. "Space exploration is the ultimate metaphor for creative
freedom. This album is my way of sonically mapping the cosmos, not through
melody but through mood, modulation and motion", notes Basile. Opener
'Wormhole' is a raw, driving sound with synth pulses and jacked-up drums for
peak time chaos, while 'Echoes' evokes ramps it up further with panel-beating
percussive loops, earth-shattering bass and twisted stabs. The title track
pairs more physical and booming drums with introspective synth craft that
encourages deep thought. 'Flex The Beat' is the first of two digital only
cuts and offers a chaotic collision of overdrive percussion, manic vocal
loops and reversed stabs for utter dance floor carnage, before 'Let It Go'
(Jungle Mix) provides a dark exploration of frenzied jungle breakbeats with
