Following
the release of Twisted Heads comes Slacker's most complete work to date. The
artist's debut LP - What Would I Do With Saturn - arrives on Lobster Theremin
on Friday 2nd July and demonstrates Slacker's killer ear for capturing the
cross-sections that exist within UK sound; floating between the artist's drum
& bass upbringing and introspective, world-building electronica.
"The main idea was to think 'what would an outside observer to our
planet think when looking down at this moment in time, what does the moon
think when looking down on us?'" he says. "It was a way of me both
building another world whilst also expressing the strife of the world that we
were living in. I was lucky enough to be quite secluded in the first lockdown
around a lot of nature, but then feeling the isolation ten-fold as I was so
far away from civilisation. I think that the album has this schism
represented in it with the more classically "nice" tracks standing
next to the more aggressive and expressive tracks; it is both an escape and
capturing of the world we live in." Designed to have inward-gazing and
aggressive tracks side by side - to represent the day to day mood swings that
only extensive isolation can bring - the record is a tripped-out voyage
through rich, flora-drenched ecosystems and Halo ring worlds. A cathartic
release to heavy isolation, the album opens with 'deep in the forest, a
sacred pool' - angelic tones and tranquil chords symbolising a melting in the
ocean, the contemplative silence that comes when one puts their head beneath
water, shutting out the outside world. 'As I Fear The Ground Opening'
represents the anxious rush when the bubbles start to rush and your time of
total freedom reaches its inevitable end; it's frantic drum patterns scoring
an intense scene, trancey atmospherics enticing you to keep turning the
corner. 'Unturned' continues down the cinematic route, before the B-side
introduces Slacker's breaks heritage: 'One Hundred Ideas' sounding reminiscent
of the fire wave of experimental, stripped-back percussion currently
championed by the likes of Al Wooton and his TRULE label; green fields,
optimism and wicked breaks. 'My Own Moon' channels open-the-clubs energy with
a percussive melter, before completing the B-side with a call to arms on 'The
New Face of England'; it's trap-techno energy encapsulating the anger and
frustration felt in the face of rising English nationalism. Staying true to
the testament of his most complete work to date, Slacker relentlessly
switches up his sonic palette in pursuit of differing - yet uniquely
connected - experiences, entering future-electro territory on the C-side;
'Nothing Is Enough' giving off Tron Legacy largeness - temporarily paused by
the emoambience of 'the myth of visibility' - before 'Void Hopping' crashes
back down to earth with that rough-edged, raw aesthetic that has become so
synonymous with the Slacker name. The climatic D-side provides the most mixed
bag yet; 'Prisoner Of War' opening an unmarked door as we venture further
into the UK's underground; the smells and sights of a packed-out jungle rave
being expressed through ripples, blares and vaporous breaks, while the
nostalgia inspired 'Summer Of '18' - featuring Guy Liner - offers a synthy,
nu-disco vibe that manages to incorporate the emotional aesthetic that has
been built throughout the album. 'let these waves wash upon' you draw the
curtains as we take a deep breath to venture back into a scary world that
lies beyond the door. A world of dreams, fears, love and sadness. Optimism,
hopelessness, anxiety and inspiration. The world is opening up, and Slacker's
rise is imminent |

The Slightly Involved project is
a collaboration between Amy Dabbs & Coco Bryce, in which they bring their
own styles and techniques to tracks the other artist has recently released.
In this first instalment, using tracks released solely via Lobster Theremin
and its sub-labels, Amy Dabbs' Girl Like Me and Allure get the full Coco
Bryce treatment, and Amy Dabbs takes on Coco's Twenty One Lies and Ma Bae Be
Luv. Coco, renowned for incorporating elaborately edited layers of breaks
samples into his sound, serves up a slice of acid jazz in Geezer Like Me, his
take on Amy Dabbs' Girl Like Me. Complementing this, is Allude, an edgier
jungle version of Amy's track, Allure. Amy, who codes her own drum patterns
from the ground up, delivers us Twenty One Highs, a liquid style take on Coco
Bryce's Twenty One Lies, with Ma Bae Be Blonde, her version of Coco's Ma Bae
Be Luv, paying homage to the UK's early rave era |

Machinefunk Veteran ''Eduardo De
La Calle'' is bound to make his Planet Rhythm debut with a 4-track analog
synth laden voyage into the the more hypnotizing side of electronic music.
Opening track ''Alex Blaney Says No Again'' dives heavy into original synthesis
and shakey drum/perc combinations for one of the most spiritual PRRUK
releases thusfar. The follow up track called ''It's On My Brain''is just as
emotive. Eduardo cleverly uses repetitive hats and unclear vocal samples to
emphasize on that underwater atmosphere he so well puts together. On the B
side we find ''I Love You" which thrives on wonderful pads and uplifting
melodies which together, create a very uneasy, yet euphoric vibe. Govindaya
Namah Dub is the closing down track of this 12'' as the name suggests, it's
quite a dubby voyage which contains loads of FX tricks and should be very
soothing for those 6 O clock in the morning spiritual club moments |

Kyoto,
Japan producer Stones Taro has been making waves recently with his sick blend
of percussion led UK-funky, house, garage, stripped back jungle and hefty UK
influence; whether it's serving up grimey shellers or screwface bassline, he
always brings the heat. The versatile producer readies four of his finest
dubs yet on Cheeky Sneakers and thrusts himself into a the spotlight
currently shining on Asia's underground electronic circuit. 'Step Into
Midnight' skanks into the frame with it's energetic 2-step and glitched-out
vocal stabs creating a sense of grimey energy, before 'Emotions' begins to
tug on the heartstrings with its teary-eyed, bubblegum UKG flavour; pitched
vocals giving off nostalgic early 00's wifey riddim vibes. Garage made with
real tears. The second half of the record showcases Stones Taro's knack for
jungle, previously explored most extensively on his release with Third Place.
Classic R&B samples are intertwined with stripped back breaks and
dubbed-out basslines on 'Spend The Night' to create a vibe similar to that
championed by Ghost Phone, with their distinct reshaping of 90's R&B
through a contemporary lens. 'Change The Mood' sees us out with a score that
wouldn't sound out of place reverberating off the walls of a NYC underground
as a busking drummer uses what he has to create a mood; a beauty lying within
its careful repetition |

After
an intriguing appearance on Lobster Theremin's PLUR compilation in 2020, New
York's Talker prepares his debut on Cheeky Sneakers with four varying cuts of
emotive breakbeat and squelchy electro NRG. "Information" takes the
swaying aesthetics and waved basslines of contemporary breaks and wraps it in
a digital ribbon; a periodic dip into a post-humanoid world where information
is no longer something we consume, but something we have become. Delicate
melodies swirl above the clouds leading the raver to their inevitable peak,
before large kicks and percussive power sparks the fuse with a flurry of gun
fingers and hands ascending towards new heights. "Da Business"
again wraps its electronic sequence in a modern blanket with elements of
grime, garage and electro taking it in turns to wow and delight; a
distinctive, lairy UK energy moulds together with ice-like synth work on an
emotional trip that packs a punch, before the B-side is introduced on
"X", a squelching cut of acid-electro made for late nights and
strobe lights. "Echolation" finishes things off the way it stated -
cinematic breakbeat that invites the listener to take a moment for themselves
on the dancefloor, looking inward for moments of private contemplation as the
euphoria is pushed increasingly outward |

London based newcomer Bartholomew
Kind combines deep emotion with disjointed rhythms on his debut release.
Breaks 'N' Pieces Vol.7 opens with the sparse, emotive drum & bass of
Memento while Sweetheart follows suit with rolling drum breaks lined with
melancholic pads & yearning vocal samples. Sapien Beat takes the tempo
down to a 2-step rhythm without compromising on poignancy. Opening the flip,
Would You Do That To Me morphs from a halftime dancehall-inspired stepper
into tearout jungle. The breaks continue on the UK hardcore influenced Feelz
while Get Well Soon is a minimal, atmospheric builder closing the record with
a message of hope |

Following
appearances on London's Threads Radio, Balamii and Lobster Theremin's own
Rinse FM show, in addition to contributions to Juke Bounce Werk's JBDUBZ Vol.
9 and a recent release on Leeds based Gimme A Break Records, LA based DJ
Introspekt prepares to be welcomed into the Breaks N Pieces family under a
brand new alias. Pulling inspiration from the UK-laden worlds of UKG, jungle
and dubstep, Sage de Lestrogen has conjured up four killer cuts of
heavyweight bass-pressure brimming with skippy riddims, chunky low-ends and
low-ceiling energy. 'Slippy Bxtch' walks the line between melodic and lairy;
a seemingly sun-kissed cut of 2-step quickly evolves into a sludging sequence
of large wubs and gun-finger aesthetics. The tempo is raised ever so slightly
on 'Femme Fatale', a jungle influence distinctively noticeable above the
crisp percussion that highlights this as a certified stepper. 'Tough
Technician' makes use of a familiar vocal-sample twisted into a love triangle
between warehouse rave, breakbeat and the future-facing sounds heard at
FWD>>, before 'System Test Dub' abandons the dark energy in favour of a
bubbling cut of dubbed-out house-garage. Also available via digital download
are two dub mixes of 'Slippy Bxtch' and 'Tough Technician' |

Originally
from Normandy now residing in the country's capital, French DJ and producer
Adam Boufeldja (aka Adam BFD) has been making a serious name for himself,
having put out a string of self-released singles and curating his own
self-titled Youtube channel. Adam's tracks have always been vivid, detailed
portraits; drawing from memories and influences from around the world, and
his latest EP on Running Out Of Steam is no exception; using his eclectic
tastes to produce a record truly unique, and brimming with personality. 'I'll
be walking' meanders through an always evolving city, creating space and
sense of an otherwise chaotic and fleeting world. The track's softly spoken
synths hold the torch, while the effortless drums walk us home. 'Call A Taxi'
follows suit, a fruitful marriage between shuffling drum patterns and
hypnotic tones, while the track's subtle low-end provides the glue; closing
off an A side that feels more like a story being told than another
dance-floor memento. Title track 'No Advice' launches the B side on a
slightly more ominous tone, in a microcosmic portrait of opposing forces;
before 'An Ode To La Condesa' glides through like a letter from an old
friend, the smell of fresh ink still prevalent on the page as we're whisked
away through the wide-tree lined avenues of La Condesa. The EP comes to a
close with 'For The Good Times' combining nostalgic tinged leads,
forward-marching drums and sprawling pads that act as a backdrop to another
highly impressive EP from one of France's best emerging artists |

ATL
via NYC producer Xiorro follows up his killer release on Brooklyn based label
Sorry Records with four slabs of ravey industrial concrete on 1O PILLS MATE.
Co-founding ALKHEMY - a collective whose genesis is dedicated to spreading
diversity within techno and making space for marginalised, people of colour
and women to play - their The Black Hole parties have helped to re-shape the
NYC soundscape. Xiorro's moniker is a reference to his Puerto Rican heritage
and to African revolutionary Marcus Xiorro. Touted as one to watch by DJ Mag
and Magnetic Mag, he has played Tresor;s New Faces and Berlin party Staub,
co-hosting nights with Discwoman and ARTS on both sides of the atlantic.
'Zemi Of A Riot' begins with a surprisingly familiar sample before diving
straight into a bass-driven, unrelenting groove. An instant curve-ball
designed to delight and startle, it's an off-road space jam hurtling through
a multi-verse of dark clubs and asteroid fields. 'Pa' Que Brinquen' turns the
space rocks to goo with its frantic, melting analog patterns and hardcore
aeshetic, striking a perfect balance between otherworldly and organic. 'Tooth
and Nail' is an evocative cut of heads-down energy; a total surrender to the
mundane that exists outside the walls of right now, hypnotic, groove-focused
techno that's as bassy as it is heavy. Belgium based French producer Julian
Muller caps the release off with a punchy remix of 'Pa' Que Brinquen',
pushing the tempo slightly higher with a piece of trance-licked techno |

Born
and raised in the heart of the French Alps, and now residing in Paris, DJ
Physical's sound is one of a harsh romance. Perhaps it was the beauty and
serenity of the snow-covered mountain tops and the ferocious nature of French
techno moulding together that spawned his 'Raw Poetry' aesthetic; an emotive
blend of dark and light that feels like it could belong in concert halls and
theatres as well as underground sex clubs. Following an outing on Lobster
Theremin's recent various artist fundraiser for Ukraine, and appearances on
Rinse France and Running Out Of Steam, the Parisian local serves up five
deadly cuts of brooding electro and techno. 'Not So Human' delivers the
influence of trance on the contemporary techno soundscape, but doesn't
over-do it. Trance-licked, not dominated, the uncompromising cut of
wave-driven techno is the perfect accompaniment for when you want to take
things up a notch. 'Sex Club' maintains DJ Physicals' fascination with 'Raw
Poetry' - brimming with breaks-driven breakdowns, spinetingling atmospherics
and low-pressure basslines that highlight the variety of influence the
emerging producer brings to the table. Acid synth-lines and lively
trance-inspo create an altogether lighter mood as we flip the record on
'Mortal Dance', before 'Easy Dancer' changes its tune altogether with a
pounding cut of progressive, freaky electronica. Closing the release is 'Go
Further' - misty electro, Southern-trap samples and those distinctive,
high-culture ambient interludes creating a sense of emotive mystery. A
well-rounded release with plenty of left-turns, this is DJ Physical's 'Raw
Poetry' at its finest |

Carlos Jobim's first American album is a masterpiece of understated elegance,
presenting a dozen songs that would become bossa nova standards. Despite
claiming to be out of practice, Jobim's sparse, single-hand piano style lets
his flowing melodies shine. Claus Ogerman's signature arrangements-airy
flutes, brooding strings, and lush harmonies-enhance timeless gems like
Desafinado, Corcovado, The Girl from Ipanema, and One Note Samba. A defining

Longtime Hollywood music director
for Warner Bros, Raymond "Ray" Heindorf is one of the most
important and prolific American film score composers< his career brought
him eighteen Academy Award nominations and three Oscars. Based on Ernest Hemingway's
masterpiece, For Whom the Bell Tolls is the 1958 recording of Victor Young's
score for the same film that came out in 1942. The vibrant, dramatic
emotionalism of Hemingway's novel is revealed with immense impact in
Heindorf's interpretation. The sound of the bell tolling, the violent
crescendo of the violins, the deafening roar of war in all its turbulence is
a thrilling musical experience< one that does not easily escape the

Ominously,
Sunriders- aptly titled third release III opens with a spoken word verse by
local legend Frank Fish. That first minute is the perfect build up for the
twenty minutes of in your face stonerrock barrage that is to come. III is a
concept album based on the same mountain the band visited with their first
full length Fuzz Mountain. On III, the mystical mountain needs to defend
itself from an assault by an evil wizard by calling forth its ultimate trump
card, the fire titans. In opening song -Call of the Mountain-, the band
showcases their greatest strengths> raw but melodic vocals that both have
a gut punching effect with mean ass guitar riffs and solo-s. Accompanied by
some great vocal harmonies and a thundering rhythm section, this band delivers.
The follow up -Exodus of the Fire Titans- shows the band-s love for seventies
rock and blues with a great vocal line and some smooth riffs to accomplish a
different but altogether fitting vibe for the next chapter in their story.
Nine minute closer -Supercell Thunderstorm- sees the band returning to the
climax of the story with a vengeance. Luckily the band gave us time to
recover from the first wave of assault because this is a banger for sure.
Since the release of Fuzz Mountain, the band played numerous national shows
and has been on an European tour, supported by their Italian label. Not
wanting to wait too long with a follow up, the decision was made for an EP
not leaving the fans lacking for new material. The band looks forward to
playing these new songs live, giving them the perfect chance to let their
audience know that the story about Fuzz Mountain has a much wanted new
chapter |

OREYEON-S
sophomore ODE TO OBLIVION comes after two years of experimental sessions in
their little studio recording nestled between the sea and the mountains in
the north west of Italy. This new full length crosses transversely all
member-s musical influences and takes shape leaving behind and definitely
going beyond the rules that mostly describe the classical stoner rock genre.
From the first track, a strong sense of nothingness blends into a long
unsettling travel through a microcosm full of colours while black shapes lead
the traveler into a spiral of nihilistic lyrics, title tracks and monolithic
riffs all at the same time. A pinch of the 90's vocals legacy gives to this
full length the gloominess that crowns a long period of rehearsals playing and
jamming over all sorts of musical borders. The album has a start and an
ending and what-s in the middle seem to be connected all together by a long
line of heavy/psych/stoner rifts that reminds a bit of the same feeling you
have listening to the mighty @Blues for the Red Sun@ from 90-s Desert Legends
Kyuss. It sound like a long suite that never ends. The vocal structures and
harmonization are definitely more complex, rich of melodies while the music
tends towards a heavier path, taking cues from way different kinds of genres
and band references |

Get
ready! After 3 singles, 1 EP, and 1 LP, French instrumental band Le Chiffre
Organ-Ization is back with their second long-player, 'Illustration.' The band
features Alain Jullian, also known as Billy Coog or Mr. Le Chiffre, on organ,
Alain Chapot (Number 9) on bass and mastering, and Alexandre Besson on drums
and vocals, with Eric Pouchet (aka Eric Damod) on guitar. After extensive
touring across Europe, the band returned to the studio to create 12 tracks of
new material and two covers. While remaining primarily instrumental, this
record includes special guests: Arthur de Cossette, the recording and mixing
engineer who helped bring their thoughts and commands to life, Cyril Cucumber
from Woom Studio, who designed the cover and added flute to one track, and
Eleonor Rochas, who contributed her fantastic voice to another. Le Chiffre
Organ-Ization is proud to share this chapter of their story with friends and
family and invite you to join them on the dance floor with their incredible
gogo dancer Celia. 'Illustration' pays homage to library music, a significant
influence on their sound, and delivers a blend of psychedelic vibes, pop-jerk
energy, and Hammond groove from France. File under acid jazz, soundtracks,
Michel Magne, Michel Legrand, Hammond groove, James Taylor Quartet, Corduroy,
Janko Nilovic, Pop Jerk, Big Boss Man |

This
adventurous recording project set in the Coxinhell Recording Studio based in
Saint/Aygulf in the South of France brings together in the same room at the
same time to improvise, the experimental, alternative rock quartet from
Toulon France, hifiklub Regis Laugier *bass ^ lead vocals( Nico Morcillo
*guitar( Arnaud Maguet *visuals ^ more( Pascal Abbatucci Julien *drums( known
for their many crafty collaborations with such forward thinking rockers as
Mike Watt, Nels Cline, Lee Renaldo, Alain Johannes, and from deep Southern
California the art punk desert blues rockers Fatso Jetson featuring Mario
Lalli, Tony Tornay, Dino Lalli and Gary Arce of Yawning Man. These desert
musicians have long been quite capable of exploration and not afraid to take
chances and stretch out. The concept is a throwback to the Quartet vs Quartet
album, the brain child of Ornette Colman. This music has more in common with
Sonic Youth or Can than with the free jazz set, however the spirit of
creativity is strong. Mixed and Masterd by Alain Johannes |

Girls At Our Best! were one of
the greatest and most influential bands to emerge in the early 1980s as part
of a new wave of independent acts. DJ John Peel championed them, playing
their singles repeatedly and inviting them to record a session for his programme.
Wry vocalist Judy Evans and brutal yet melodic guitarist James Alan who'd met
at art college in Leeds fronted Girls At Our Best!, the proto-Indie band that
formed from the ashes of Alan's 1977 punk band SOS! Pleasure, the sole album,
reached number two in the Indie Chart. It was an album so different from the
rest of the post-punk indie pack that you can still play it now and
completely baffle new listeners. As John Peel said about Roxy Music, it just
doesn't seem to relate to anything else |

12 songs in 34 minutes: On long
player, the London boys also play their beloved trademark sound from early
BUZZCOCKS and RAMONES, catchy melodies, sugar-sweet harmonies, served with
the necessary punch. A confident "Happiness Program" for the whole
family, aka power poppers and melody punks, rapturously united. Just as
promised on song A "sweet appeasement" for the gray hours of life.
Delicious as usual! |

political punk iconoclasts Propagandhi as furious and sonically barnstorming

tracks that are more experimental than anything they have previously recorded |

Kubota(ex-Les Rallizes Denudes). Housed in a gatefold jacket. With obi.
Extensive liner notes by Shinichi Ogawa in Japanese and English translation.
Originally released in 1972. After his work with Miki Curtis & Samurai
and just after joining the British rock band Free, Tetsu Yamauchi recorded
his first solo album during a brief return to Japan in 1972. This remarkable
record is packed with standout tracks: the razor-sharp guitar riffs of “Wiki
Wiki,” the groovy funk-rock vibes of “First Time,” “How To Cook,” and “Orange
Dog,” and the sultry, melancholic vocals of Eleanor on “Alexander Stone,”
“Why,” and “Baby Blue.” Now beautifully reissued and remastered by Makoto
Kubota, this hidden gem is a must-listen for fans of early ’70s Japanese rock |

(Limited
Edition 12" vinyl) Part 1 out of 5 features tracks from Pedro Cazanova
& Andrea, Ralpheus, Phonkers, and Daniel Bovie. Belgian dance label LA
MUSIQUE DU BEAU MONDE turns 20, spawning a massive amount of hits spanning
two decades. Ranging from commercial hits by DJ Antoine, Laurent Wery,
Remady, Jay Santos, to more credible tracks by Phonkers, Merdan Taplak, Les
Mecs, and others. This is the first record in a series of five, and the first
one kicks off with a bang. The importance of Pedro Cazanova’s classic Selfish
Love in the house scene cannot be underestimated. It grew iconic in the remix
by Gregor Salto, as featured on this 12”. Rock Your Body by Phonkers was one
of the most played tracks on Benelux radio stations during the summer of
2011. The track gained massive popularity not only in Belgium and Holland but
also in Australia, New Zealand, Poland, and beyond. Daniel Bovie is
undoubtedly one of the best Belgian dance producers of the past four decades.
His 2014 masterpiece Way Too Long is included on this record. In 2014,
Ralpheus had a big international club hit with the catchy clubhouse tune Do
What? Gospel chants built around a big clubhouse beat, still a floorfiller
today! |

The Demon Singles Club has been
digging deep again and this time they have unearthed a trio of delights from
Travis Biggs. Biggs played the keys with Isaac Hayes towards the end of the
70s when Hayes was playing with disco sound. During that same era, Biggs went
it alone on a pair synth laced and spaced out albums 1976s Challenge, on
TB&C, and 1979s Solar Funk, on MCA subsidiary Source. The trio of cuts on
this 12 come from the latter of those two - one of them will be particularly
recognisable to J Dilla fans for the famous beatmaker sampled it quite
famously |

up a 45rpm pressing of Komiko's 'Feel Alright'. First released on legendary
disco-boogie imprint SAM Records back in 1982, the track has long been a
favourite with boogie DJs and with good reason. Built around a memorable
bassline, squelchy electrofunk synths and unfussy machine drums, 'Feel
Alright' boasts a fine female lead vocal whose lyrics extolls the virtues of
dancing all night with happy strangers. As it did back in 1982, the vocal mix
comes backed with an instrumental take in which producer Darryl Payne's
killer bassline and synths rightfully take centre stage. If it's not in your
collection already, you need to grab one of these copies pronto |

repress. Berlin techno talent Regent returns to Mutual Rytm with second
12" release, 'Delta Hyve' - a five-track package lined with peak-time
heat. Regent is an ever-growing voice in the global techno conversation. His
tracks have found their way into high-profile sets worldwide and are renowned
for their impressive blend of the past and the present. Versatile but always
designed for maximum impact, delivering an impressively crafted sound made
for powerful systems, this new outing offers a wealth of different moods and
grooves for various parts of the night. Returning to SHDW's Mutual Rytm
imprint following 2023's successful 'Coral Knife' EP, he unveils a fresh
selection of cuts that emphasise his emergence with 'Delta Hyve'. The title
cut 'Delta Hyve' opens up with devastating low ends and busy synths that
scurry about the mix to bring dynamism to the rooted drums, while 'Ophaal'
delivers thumping kicks and coarse, textured hits scrape and scratch, while
supersized hi-hats bring the intensity to all new levels. 'Hygea Core' brings
the pressure with hunched-over drum patterns and a sense of urgency in the
bass, while creepy pads create an unsettling atmosphere. 'New Narrative'
powers on like a train with high-speed rhythms and metallic percussive
surfaces, all sweeping you off your feet, before 'Ree 54' switches things up
with bright synth flashes and more extraverted grooves that hark back to the
machine soul of early Detroit techno. The first digital bonus, 'Presence', is
intense and tinged with the grit of a warehouse and menacing vocals, while
'Rheplica' delivers unrelenting loopy drum funk with shattered glass melodies
to close the show |

repress. Exos returns to Mutual Rytm for second standout EP, 'Icebreaker'. A
renowned global talent, Iceland's Exos was last on Mutual Rytm earlier this
year with his successful 'Infrared' EP in April. The debut release on the
label's new 10" vinyl X-Series, the EP picked up a wealth of
high-profile plays while delivering an absorbing journey through techno
soundscapes. The release was followed up by his 'Evil Nation' LP, exploring a
harder, more intense approach to techno on his own Planet X imprint, ext to
tunes on the likes of Figure and X/OZ. However, he returns with more
skilfully crafted ammunition across five stand-out productions and two
digital bonus gems on SHDW's burgeoning imprint for a second outing packed
with his trademark sound spanning mystic yet driving and impactful spheres.
The package opens up with 'Voices Of Volcano', a powerful track with a
monstrous low end and quickened drum kicks that compel you to march in time
as the twisted synths peel away up top. 'Enter The Danger' has a steamy feel,
as if racing through a humid jungle with the sounds of bird calls and
haunting voices next to the loopy percussion and driving rhythms. The
brilliant 'Icebreaker' keeps up the intensity with more precision drumming
working dancers into a meditative state while the cosmic synths grow up out
of the groove to become bright and unsettling. 'Mocoa Beats' is another warm
techno cut that fizzes with synth energy and unfolds like an ancient ritual,
while 'Chicat' brings some sensuality to the party with whispered, intimate
vocals over more macho and unrelenting drums. Bonus tracks 'Codebreaker' and
'Spliffmatch' round out this high-grade EP of timeless techno in style,
offering a unique closing treat for digital purchasers |

repress. Born and raised in Sicily but now based in Berlin, SLV is known for
his innovative approach to techno and its various shades. He has released on
revered labels like Soma and received support from key industry players who
respect his ability to blend old-school vibes with modern production
techniques. Away from the club, he also produces music for film soundtracks,
adding a sense of cinematic edge to his techno cuts and is a master of both
analog and digital technologies - a true audio engineer who crafts unique,
compelling sounds. Having previously featured on the labels Federation of
Rytm III compilation, he returns to SHDWs Mutual Rytm imprint with his Night
Echoes EP to open up October. Graustufen opens with punch drum programming
and scintillating percussion that dances atop the groove as booming bass
brings serious weight down low. The superb Grand Cayman is another potent
techno weapon, this time with icy synth atmospheres and eerie moods pervading
the tightly programmed drums and bass to deliver an unstoppable force. Voids
brings urgent funk with its hunched-over, closely stacked kicks and
suspensory pads, which never let up and keep you locked in the moment, while
Elastik Pho echoes a classic Detroit sound with its soul-drenched beats and
serene, uplifting, beautiful hi-tek style. Last but not least, That Night
shows SLVs extraordinary range as it brings some soulful vocal loops and
optimistic chords over thunderous drums, which are sure to power dance floors
through to euphoria. The EP includes two digital bonus cuts: Basic Uno, which
is a raw, percussive and heads-down banger, and Persistence Of Memory, which
is stripped-back, glitchy and dubby techno for strobe-lit warehouses |

repress. Aussie techno innovator Alpharisc returns to Mutual Rytm for a
second standout EP. Shane Yates, aka Alpharisc, has been living and breathing
techno for over 30 years. He first began producing in the mid-90s and has
amassed a fine hardware collection that lends his sounds a raw, rugged feel.
After breaking through with the Wetmusik party and label collective, he has
let his music do the talking and isn't afraid of colouring it with a hint of
nostalgia. Previous material has come via several notable labels over the
years, but his most recent outings have been on SHDW's Mutual Rytm imprint,
with his solo EP 'Ram Face' from 2023 becoming an underground favourite
alongside a fine outing as part of the label's 'Federation Of Rytm II' and
'Federation Of Rytm III' compilations. Once again, he returns in style,
uncovering an impactful selection of gems across his new 'Remain Seated' EP.
The opener 'Peace Be With You' is a straight-up techno weapon with urgent
synth flashes peeling off the groove like a police siren. The drums hit hard
in true Alpharisc style before 'Hail' builds on that with a more hard-edge
groove topped with frosty waves of white noise that electrify the dance
floor. 'Remain Seated' brings a hint of trance-leaning energy with its bright
sheets of synth lighting up the driving drums and saw-tooth bass loops. Next,
'Look At This' is another brilliantly forceful techno sound with slamming
drums and rusty synth loops, layering melancholic pads up top and adding a
cerebral edge, while closer 'In Your Mind' is from the Jeff Mills school of
synth-laced and serene deep techno with lush pads radiating cosmic light. As
a bonus, digital-only cut 'Expedition' brings some backlit celestial synth
work to a rubbery and pummelling drum pattern for pure techno escapism |

repress. ANNE & SERA J return for the second edition of their Symbiosis
series on Mutual Rytm. ANNE, known for potent techno on the likes of Soma and
Hardgroove, and Nechto and Life In Patterns associate Sera J, have had
standout years that have seen them put out a stream of essential club tracks.
They are partners in both life and music, and the first volume of 'Symbiosis'
on SHDW's Mutual Rytm imprint was their first release together. Delivering an
honest representation of their innermost feelings, having also contributed to
the label's 'Federation Of Rytm III' VA in February, this new six-track EP
(plus bonus cuts) presents a 'mature and refined connection between their
souls'. The second instalment of 'Symbiosis' reflects not only their deep
personal connection, but also their collaborative synergy as musical peers
with the same goals. The EP captures the essence of their mutual artistic
journey and showcases the strength of their bond both in life and through
their shared creative vision - to create a storyline through sounds coming
from their souls and convey a narrative that many listeners may find
relatable. SERA J kicks off with the lithe and melodically elegant techno of
'Your Soul Is Art' which will have both heart and heels dancing. 'Illusions'
is a more heavy and dubby cut with paired back grooves and pulsing synths,
while 'Glacial Pace' is an urgent deep techno roller with turbocharged stabs
and huge icy hi hats locking you into a trance. ANNE steps up on the B-side
with 'Floating Waves' exploring physical, chunky drum funk and raw synth
textures. 'Planetary Dust' is a dark and moody astral techno journey to the
stars, before 'Sweet Seventeen' brings a more melodic cut with a sense of
hope and joy in the bright pads that shimmer above the glitchy grooves. Both
artists also offer two digital bonus cuts with SERA J's 'Syncrosonix' and
'Space Velocity' delivering perfectly reduced minimal techno monsters, while
ANNE's 'Gentle Loop' and 'Starburst' are interplanetary trips with widescreen
cosmic synths |

With
a steely sound matching fathoms-deep echo chambers with metallic textures and
precision drums, Sciama arrives on Samurai Music to press into the inspiring
hinterland between techno and drum & bass. Sciama is the production alias
for Michael Watters, a producer who since 2019 has carved out a formidable
reputation across a stellar run of releases on ASC's Auxiliary label. While
his music references UK bass, transcendental techno and industrial, the end
result is a taut, focused journey through fractured, weighty rhythms and
vast, ranging atmospherics tilted towards the darkness. Between Veils is
testament to Watters' refined production, steeped in intensely detailed and
layered sound design in constant fluid motion, whether locked to the grid or
shifting across the surface of the track like grayscale snow drifts. Noise
becomes a subtle tool in his hands, capable of delicacy as much as abrasion,
and discord evokes a haunting beauty if you listen past the clangorous
overtones he elicits from his pads. For all the writhing, artful sonics,
there is still ample weight in the Sciama sound to hold court over a sound
system. 'Figures In Mist' rests on a constant half time cycle underpinned by
monolithic bass pulses and 'Ghost Trail' finds deadly energy in the faintest
flicker of double-time hats above the slow march of a 4/4 kick clocking
around 85BPM. Restraint is paramount, even in the fuller rhythm section that
drives 'Anima Trace', creating tension through what isn't sequenced as much
as what is. 'Veil Of Mirrors' has an especially punchy kick propelling the
cavernous echos and ripples that shape out yet another vivid soundscape, but
at all times Watters keeps a tight grip on his arrangement to keep the energy
simmering just below boiling point. Moving well beyond the boundaries of any
specific genre, Between Veils winds upas a strong, independent statement on
the meeting point between broad influences and clear intentions - a
formidable addition to Samurai Music's explorations beyond drum & bass
and Sciama's steadily evolving, singular style |

TRSN hits release number 36 with
a statement from one of the Netherlands' most promising new names. Groef
steps up for his full solo debut on the label, delivering four meticulously
crafted originals that twist and stretch the parameters of hypnotic, high-impact
techno. Fresh off the back of appearances on Delirium Vol. II and a breakout
debut EP on Bipolar Disorder, Groef showcases his signature blend of raw
textures, tightly-wound percussion, and heads-down momentum. Rounding out the
EP are two heavyweight remixes from French powerhouses Bours? and Ferdinger,
adding their own flavour while keeping the energy locked firmly to the floor.

Parallelle
& Nicolas Masseyeff return to Crosstown Rebels with dynamic new EP,
‘Shake It Out’. The trio deliver their third collaborative release on the
label on 18th July 2025, backed by a standout remix from Airrica. Following
their acclaimed collaborations ‘Renegade’ in 2023 and ‘Surrender’ in 2024,
Parallelle and Nicolas Masseyeff return to Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels
with a third instalment of their evolving partnership on the imprint. Titled
‘Shake It Out’, the release arrives in the heart of summer and showcases two
original productions from the Dutch-French trio, alongside a vibrant remix
from US rising star Airrica. Dutch brothers Parallelle and French mainstay
Masseyeff share a deep-rooted musical connection, honed across years of collaboration
and a shared love for expressive, forward-thinking electronic music. With
past releases on labels such as DGTL, Systematic, Rose Avenue, and Masseyeff
’s own Diversions Music, the trio have built a sound that’s rich in detail
and driven by emotion, combining analog warmth, live instrumentation, and
club-ready energy in equal measure. A fusion of sharp production and live
sensibility, ‘Shake It Out’ leads with layered drums, psychedelic stabs and a
commanding vocal that urges listeners into motion. On the B-side,
‘Everything’ delivers a more stripped-back and introspective mood, with hazy
textures and wonky sonics for the late hours. Joining the package is Airrica,
making her return to Crosstown following 2024’s ‘Hi Speed Lover’. Her rework of
‘Shake It Out’ adds a new dimension to the original, dialling up the energy
with crisp percussion, pulsing acid-dipped low-ends, and warped vocal
treatments that inject a driving twist into the hypnotic groove |

Creations Summer Vinyl Sampler featuring four of the Hottest recent release
on Hot Creations. Straight from the heart of Amsterdam’s vibrant club scene,
PIV founder Prunk and RED 87 offer up a first-time collaboration with
‘Express’, bringing together lush synth pads, simmering hi-hats, and echoed
vocal snippets, crafting a warm, hypnotic energy that reflects the pair’s
signature sound. Next up and hotly tipped DJ/producer Rafael linking up with
fellow countryman Mishell, whose psychedelic take on House and Indie Dance,
together, they make their label debut on Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘Naughty’,
bringing a fresh burst of House energy as they blend their distinctive
styles. On the flip and a name ascending from the Netherlands’ thriving house
scene, Easttown makes his debut on ‘Rocking To The Rhythm’ which sets the
pace with tight drums, grooving bass, and a clear-cut sense of movement.
Hooky as hell. Finally rising Dutch talent Jamback has been turning heads

Mexican magic man Iñigo Vontier
returns with another stroke of high NRG-nius on ACID COWBOY. Put on your
pointy boots & strap on your stetson: this stripped-down hip-spurring mix
of meme-ready themes might be the dance hit of the summer. Fresh off releases
for Optimo & Crosstown Rebels, Iñigo has been smashing his ‘Calypso Cult’
parties around the world with a hypnotic blend of tribal house, acid techno,
and playful eccentricity. This release encapsulates this special brand of
mischief into a super-potent 12 inch coming this summer on Multi Culti World

Nathalie
Duchene & Radio Slave team up for summer anthem ‘We Are Youth’. CASSIMM
remixes the track. The Belgium-born, Paris-based Nathalie Duchene joins Radio
Slave’s Rekids via a collaboration with the label boss himself. ‘We Are
Youth’ lands 11th July 2025 and includes a remix from CASSIMM. Embodying the
spirit of summer with glistening piano keys, vibrant strings, and a snazzy
bassline, Nathalie Duchene & Radio Slave's ‘We Are Youth’ brims with
feeling. The vocal, sung by Radio Slave’s daughter, adds a layer of innocent
nostalgia that clings to joyful memories. Rekids regular CASSIMM steps in for
a remix, upping the tempo and flipping the track into a disco infused House
cut. Founded in 2006, Radio Slave’s Rekids has since launched the Techno-focused
Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its latest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. With
Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been instrumental in developing
emerging artists and remains a trusted home for House and adjacent sounds,
recently featuring names such as Tiger Stripes, Tal Fussman, Oliver Dollar,
The Hacker, and more |

Few
producers have had the same seismic impact on techno and rave music as Joey
Beltram. Hailing from Queens, New York, Beltram was a key architect of the
early '90s rave explosion and responsible for some of the most influential
electronic records of the era - and it was Belgium’s R&S Records that
gave many of these tracks their first home. Originally compiled and released
by R&S in 1996, Classics brings together the core of Beltram’s
groundbreaking early output - namely the Beltram Vol. 1 (1990) and Beltram
Vol. 2 (1991) EPs, alongside the legendary Second Phase productions ‘Mentasm’
and ‘Mind To Mind’ (1991), plus a selection of aliases and collaborative work
from the same period, including tracks under Mental Mayhem, Open Mind, and
Disorder. Now remastered and reissued as a 2LP set for 2025, Classics is
available on vinyl for the first time since 2006, offering a long overdue
opportunity to own these timeless cuts in their purest form. Across the 13
tracks, you'll hear the sheer force and innovation that made Beltram a
household name in underground techno. Integral to this collection are ‘Jazz
303’ and ‘Psycho Bass,’ co-produced with Norwegian techno innovator Per
Martinsen (aka The Alien), which stand out for their experimental, forward-facing
sound - highlighting a futuristic edge even within Beltram’s already
pioneering catalogue. Elsewhere, his Second Phase project with Mundo Muzique
delivers the seminal ‘Mentasm’ and ‘Mind To Mind,’ two foundational tracks
that introduced the infamous “hoover” sound to dancefloors worldwide.
Rounding out the set are deeper cuts under his aliases Mental Mayhem,
Disorder, and Open Mind, capturing the breadth of Beltram’s restless
creativity and technical command during his peak R&S years. ‘Classics’ by
Joey Beltram is available on R&S Records from 25th July 2025 |

Basel-based
producer Tim Shatnyy made a welcome return to his home label, Resonance, with
a massive and satisfyingly complex body of work. The media ecosystem of
Beyond Dualism combines a game, an Instagram bot, generative radio, and a
full-length album at the forefront of the high-concept universe. The
rhizomatic blend of web development, sound engineering, and conceptual
framework does not diminish the joyous energy of Tim Shatnyy's sonic
adventures. Beyond Dualism's digi-charms coalesce into a dynamic tension of
minimalist electronic music, funky glitch, club-ready heaviness, and a
boundless, idiosyncratic approach of disorientating arrangements. Beyond
Dualism is the result of Shatnyy's deep, ongoing process of inner listening,
constant change, and spiritual inquiry. It is a perfectly closed cycle of
artistic creation, featuring hyper-realistic sound design and visionary
manipulation on meta-levels of composition. Beyond Dualism offers the
listener a continuous experience, revealing a nearly tactile and visual
experience of a sound. Going beyond dualism is a journey. The way the artist
has transformed his perception going through this path is reflected in the
album's development and its structures |

Originally self-released in 2013,
this debut album is where it all began for Dutch producer Shook. A cult
classic that melts analog synth-funk, cinematic soul, and retro-futuristic
electro into a timeless space odyssey. With early support from French touch
icons like Alan Braxe, Kavinsky and DJ Falcon (Daft Punk), Shook became a
hidden gem in the electronic underground. Now reissued on vinyl for the first
time in years, fully remastered and featuring updated artwork, this is the
essential Shook record for collectors and new listeners alike. Includes
standout tracks like Cloud Symphony, Love for You, and Always |

Spectrum marks Shook's bold
evolution expanding his analog synth-funk roots into lush, cinematic
territory. This 2014 release includes the breakout track Milestones, which
reached global audiences through its feature in Better Call Saul. Rich in
dreamy keys, retro-futuristic grooves, and emotional depth, Spectrum
solidified Shook's voice as a one-man orchestra of vintage soul and
electronic storytelling. A fan favorite, now ready for rediscovery on limited

AniaraWL06 is the materialisation

A-side -- Do You Have A Guestlist? -- is an uptempo, tabla driven house cut
with swelling stabs. And to invite your mind to wonder: Dorisburg's B-side --
Helande Skulptur -- by its introspective scapes and eerie echoes, laced with
a fine tech-house beat |

Maltese
talent Human Safari debuts on Mutual Rytm with jazz-influenced techno EP,
'Culture Shock'. Human Safari is a key player in his native scene in Malta.
He's a resident at Glitch Festival, has played cult spots, and has a dynamic
sound that brings jazz improvisation to techno, often featuring live
instrumental elements. His music has found its place on top labels like
R&S Records, and most of this new EP for SHDW's Mutual Rytm imprint was
produced during his Colombian summer tour last year - written and recorded
amongst inspiring and unusual settings with just a laptop and headphones.
"This EP represents embracing new beginnings that, though might bring
uncertainty and fear, the light always guides you to where you were always
meant to be." - Human Safari. Opener 'Mouse on Keys' has been a key cut
for the label boss across the past year, a unique track that peaks curiosity
from dancers to DJs whenever it's played. Its cantering techno rhythm is
overlaid with delicate, heartfelt piano keys straight from a smoky jazz bar,
making for a great counter to the physical drums. 'Fragments' is a deeply
personal track dedicated to the artist's late grandfather. It's a funky,
soulful techno roller with blissed-out and sunny chords full of hope. Next,
'Classique' gets more gritty with loopy drums and bass and glitchy percussion
that fizzes with energy, while 'The Labyrinth' features piano motifs recorded
in just one take. It brings a dark paranoia in the uneasy, off-grid keys
which dart about with nervous energy over the booming low ends. There is just
as much intensity and edge to the unresolved keys that loop over the raw
drums on 'A Rainy Day in Bogota', before digital bonus cuts 'Dorian' and
'Phantom' bring more jazzed out techno madness with warped keys and
expressive elements bringing great invention |
