Copenhagen-via-Bulgaria
producer Vixen readies her Lobster Theremin debut. Influenced by the high
velocity techno sounds of the Danish capital, Vixen has been gathering
momentum within her local circuit in addition to being a member of the
renowned DIY collective Fast Forward, and here she delivers four cuts of
big-room trance-techno. 'Vibe Catcher' is as ghostly as it is alien; a sonic
trip through solar wastelands and otherworldly graveyards - unapologetic
warehouse techno for the misfits of the underworld. 'Maladaptive Daydreamer'
follows in a similar vein, the energy becoming a little more urgent as strobe
lights flash overhead. 'High Femme Fantasy' is a homage to the progressive
sound re-rise that has infiltrated so much of the contemporary dance music
soundscape; a pulsating cut of atmospheric techno. Fun taken seriously.
Finalising the release is a remix from Danish contemporary royalty - Schacke
burst onto the scene releasing on Courtesy's Kulor label - an imprint
dedicated to the sounds of the Danish underground - and an incredible release
on Russian label Kisloty, and the producers rendition of 'Maladaptive
Daydreamer' is sure to be a late contender for many people's track of the
year lists |

Debuting
on Sydney based label Gallery Records in 2020 - inspired by the lack of
female faces in a male-dominated scene - AK Sports has been setting the
standard for her style of high energy, new-age rave spanning breaks, electro,
grime, jungle, techno as she finds her footing in the contemporary electronic
circuit between London and LA. Releases and remixes have followed on Dansu
Discs, Mad Decent and CLUB GLOW (where she produced a collaborative EP with
rising artist Kessler), and now the Aussie producer readies her Lobster
Theremin debut; six varied and stylistic cuts of techno, electro and distinct
Sports-rave. 'Dial Up' is a pirate radio inspired, scattered break warper
that captures an underground, empty warehouse energy. Flashes of bright,
coloured lasers enter the fray on 'You Want Some' - an uplifting,
happy-hardcore influenced cut of breakbeat-techno - before the progressive,
bubbling patterns of 'Listen Now' deepen the undercurrents. The B-side opens
with 'Odorimashou!' - a lo-fi industrial experiment laced with trance and
jack-hammer melodies - while 'Twin Flame' switches the vibe again with it's
high-speed, malfunctioning electro aesthetic. Bringing Displaced to an end is
'The Humans Are Dead' - a dystopian trip through a Fallout-like apocalypse
soundtracked by 80s horror styled melodies and futuristic laser blasts |

On
his follow-up to ROOS10, French DJ and producer Adam BFD lets imagination
thrive with five mesmerizing breaksy house cuts, best heard under a star-lit
sky. Duality flows seamlessly throughout the whole record, Adam harnessing
the power to connect everyday experiences with a higher state of
consciousness. The EP kicks off with 'Digital Tales' which layers wistful
secrets over mood-altering pads; it's hypnotic undertone grounding and
continuous. 'Cirrus Dreamz' ascends even further into the clouds, it's steady
pace expertly infused with cosmic melody and shuffling rhythms. In a world
driven by hyper-connectivity, Adam's productions are a welcome reminder to
stop and explore, none more so than in the immersive world of B side opener
'1st sight'. Dynamic percussion provides the movement, while meditative
sonics produce the feeling of being swept up in a magic carpet and taken
along for the ride. Adam's depth of field widens in title track 'Rose', a
quasi-epic composition combining all the best elements of house and
breakbeat. The record comes to a contemplative halt with 'Siniestro' - an
ambient bubble-bath with field recordings poignantly placed across developing
pads yearning for connection; showcasing another side to a producer who knows
how to tug at the heartstrings |

Originally
from West Wales now residing in Amsterdam in a studio nestled beside the
river Ij, Maroki now joins the ROOS family following a string of stellar
releases. He leaves nothing to chance, using his classically trained skills
and expertly engineered sounds into a pool of influences that range from
breaks, moon-lit acid and headsdown chuggy goodness. The record launches with
title track 'Emerald City' a moody cut that whisks you away from the city's
bustling streets and off the beaten track. Maroki's fixed hand helps elements
blend seamlessly into another, in what feels like a personal guide through
the emerald's subterranean. Then comes the gentle and tranquil electronics of
'Alfred Stole My Brain' both welcoming and meditative, while the swing in
drums provide dance-floor functionality and set the pace. The A side comes to
a grand close with 'Talk2Me' a brooding acid cut that mixes in elements of
breaks and aquatic synths. The track's swelling energy feeds from the A
side's previous two, culminating in a build up of emotion and speed. 'Total
Recall' raises its hypnotic head, a series of winding synths and 4/4 kick
drums creating a maze of sound, before perhaps the record's hidden gem 'All
Be Over' arrives like an old friend. The track's familiar sound design
coupled with Maroki's distinct personality create a warm and lasting
friendship; melting together old and new perspectives. 'Slower' rounds off
the EP, an equally stunning and fiery mix of breaks and angelic electronics |

KING
HOWL play HEAVY BLUES> the raw sounds of Son House, Howling Wolf and
Charlie Patton are filtered by a multitude of different musical influences
coming from stoner rock, 70-s classic rock, funk and punk, in a new crossover
labored with spontaneity and naturalness, a flow of sounds that never stops.
After a first three tracks Ep released in 2010, King Howl attracted
conspicuous attention with "King Howl Quartet" *2012, produced by
Talk About Records and distributed in all Europe by Go Down Records(, the
first full/length that imposed a personal sound, pushed by singles like
"Morning" and "Drunk". In 2014, the 4/track "Truck
Stop Ep" brought new nuances to the King Howl's trademark, developing a
more mature songwriting exposed in songs like "Kerouac" or
"Time to say Goodbye". The band toured all Italy and central Europe
several times *Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belgium,
France, Hungary(, often included in the bills of international festivals such
as Pietrasonica Festival *Osoppo, IT(, Time in Jazz *Berchidda, IT(, Maximum
Festival *Treviso, IT(, Crumble Fight Fest *Nantes, FR(, Freiburg Fuzz Fest

On Warlung's 2020 album 'Optical

the first album and the rock'n'roll aspect of the second. They continued to
experiment with song structures and changing tempos to keep the music dynamic
and interesting. This album explores everything we have done before while
guiding us into something new |

Originally
released 23 years ago on CD , "Troppo lontano e altre storie" is
finally reissued on LP for the first time. 13 remastered tracks produced
between 1986 and 1994 by the Italian seminal Hardcore Punk band. Here you can
find in detail, the complete versions of three tracks recorded live in Lubeck
(D) during the 1986 European tour and previously issued on 7". Four
songs from a series of acoustic sessions recorded in 1988 and previously
issued on singles and compilations. Four songs produced with Stefano Giaccone
and Lalli from "La diserzione degli animali del circo", the 1989
Kina & Howth Castle 12". A song from the Kina & Act 1990, split
single, and finally the 1994 recordings featuring Marco Brunet on guitar and
vocals. In the original 1996 liner notes, Kina wrote - All these recordings
have been published on records that will never be reissued again. Hopefully
you will be pleased to find them all together in this collection. Now, if we
compare the first and last piece, we'll find a big difference in terms of
sound and playing quality. It's still us though, luckily we grew up and we've
changed too, and we're so proud and happy of our past and present. Always
yours Sergio, Alberto, Gianpiero, Marco, Stefano and Lalli |

PAPA TOPO is back with their
long-awaited second album, "Presto y con Toda la Fuerza". This
album is by far their most ambitious and complex work to date. Despite
staying true to their exaggerated, melodic, catchy pop, the group is
releasing an existentialist album, full of loneliness, unease, and rage that
comes from contemporary society |

another band with a different touch but still hard rocking. Peder was his
first choice for the job as the bass player. Then Mankan Magnusson joined on
drums. A true power trio was born. In spring 2024 they recorded 12 songs for
their debut album. Recorded at Televinkler Studio in Gothenburg by Tobias
Winterkorn. Mixed in NYC by Micheal Giblin from the Split Squad. Raw power

and wonder for the pop-centric hooks of their third album. Perfect Hit! is
also imbued with their whimsical lyrical slant, from face tattoos to the
value of being kind, as well as a strong sense of fun |

The Lucid Dream put their bad
luck (their gear was all stolen in Paris in 2017) firmly behind them with
fourth album Actualisation, a record that could not have come to be without
some great fan support. The album works some big acid house vibes into the
group's general big psychedelia, as well as some delightful dub business too.

"Electròccid àccid
alquimístic xoc" marks a shift in Pau Riba's sound-now electrified and
fully embracing rock under the influence of artists like Lou Reed, Ray
Davies, and Kevin Ayers. Once again, Riba left everyone bewildered with a
work that, on its own, gave early substance to what would eventually be known
as roc català, of which Riba may well have been its most authentic
representative. First vinyl reissue in over four decades! |

When
Soul II Soul hit the stage at the legendary Roundhouse in December 2022, it
wasn’t just a homecoming—it was a masterclass in groove. Now, for the first
time ever, that unforgettable night is being released, captured on a
limited-edition gold-coated double vinyl to mark 35 years since Club Classics
Vol. 1 changed the game. With Charlotte Kelly and Nadine Ceaser delivering
powerhouse vocals and a sold-out crowd locked into every beat, this live
recording oozes that signature Funki Dreds energy. From the first note to the
last, it’s a journey through deep rhythms, smooth harmonies, and the
unmistakable sound that made Soul II Soul legends. Jazzie B sums it up best:
"Every so often when we get together to perform there’s a surge of
positive energy backstage that can transcend from us to the audience and back
to the stage. The show at the roundhouse in 2022 was one of those incredible
moments.Enjoy with a happy face and thumping bass." Ahead of its
release, two standout singles—“Get a Life” and “Jazzie’s Groove”—give a taste
of what’s to come, radiating that infectious, feel-good vibe that defined an
era and still hits just as hard today. This isn’t just a live album—it’s a
front-row seat to history. A must-have for any Soul II Soul fan, vinyl
collector, or soul aficionado, this release lets you witness the legacy,
experience the Funki Dred rhythm and relive the moment |

"The album Led Zeppelin
would have made, had they formed in Caracas" Alex Figueira First time
reissue of one of the essential and most sought-after Venezuelan rock albums,
originally released in 1970, along the lines of what other artists such as
Santana or El Chicano were doing from the United States in those same years.
Grupo Pan was led by Carlos "Nené" Quintero, former member of Los
Dementes, Ray Pérez's group, and through this record he aims to retain the
rhythmic strength and brass arrangements typical of salsa, but also explore
other sounds based on powerful guitars. This reissue includes original

Housed
in a gatefold jacket. With obi. Extensive liner notes by Yuji Shibata in
Japanese and English translation. Originally released in 1973. Shortly after
the breakup of Flower Travellin’ Band, guitarist Hideki Ishima released his
first and only solo album in 1973—a hauntingly beautiful work that stands
apart in the landscape of ’70s Japanese rock. Known for his later work as a
sitar player, Ishima showcases a signature floating guitar sound throughout
the album, blending psychedelic rock, acid folk, and introspective
singer-songwriter elements into a deeply personal and atmospheric record.
Contributing to this richly textured sound are some of the most notable names
from the era: fellow Flower Travellin’ Band member George Wada (drums),
future Transam collaborators Chito Kawachi (drums) and Nobuhiko Shinohara
(keyboards), and Katsuo Ohno (keyboards) of PYG. Now reissued with a bold,
powerful remaster by Makoto Kubota, this overlooked gem captures a vital
moment in Japan’s underground rock evolution and demands a fresh listen from
those exploring the outer edges of the genre |

was a Puerto Rican singer and pianist best known for his boogaloo and Latin
soul style. 'At The Party', the latest contribution by the Rivera estate to
the 7" series Demon Singles Club, hears two cuts that debuted all the
way back in 1966; two choice cuts from his contemporaneous album, At The
Party With Hector Rivera. On 'At The Party' and 'Do It To Me', Rivera's
charisma is evident, coming backed by a screw-tight band, with Bobby Valentin
on bass and Louie Ramirez on vibes. Remastered by Phil Kinrade and presented

Pat Kelly out of all the Jamaican singers was influenced most by the voice of
American soul singer Sam Cooke. As were indeed many of the singers from that
time, few however could carry out this daunting task as well as Pat Kelly. His
delivery was perfect and so was his ability to carry any song that came his
way. Pat Kelly (born 1949,Kingston,Jamaica) began his singing career in 1967
when he replaced Slim Smith as lead singer of The Techniques, his voice
working so well with the impeccable harmonies of Winston Riley and Bruce
Ruffin. Their first hit for the mighty Duke Reid stable was a version of
Curtis Mayfield's tune ou'll Want Me Back' retitled ou Don't Care' which held
the Number 1 slot in Jamaica for the six weeks. For this release we have focused
on material that Mr.Kelly had recorded with legendary Jamaican prodcer
Bunny'Striker'Lee. A match made in heaven and one that produced some of their
finest work. Tracks such as ne In a Million','One Man Stand','Man Of My
Word','I Started a Joke'.. . So sit back and you better get ready for an
albums worth of great songs sung and delivered as only the great Pat Kelly
could... Respect Jah Floyd |

Huxley
debuts on Rekids with the ‘MIND G%MES’ EP. UK DJ, producer, and Dumb Safari
label head Huxley joins Radio Slave’s Rekids for the first time with the
‘MIND G%MES’ EP, dropping 25th July 2025. The first track, ‘M%ND’, kicks off
with woozy and alluring pads swirling round a cuddly but kicking Deep House
groove. Soulful vocals and delicate, cosmic melodies rise out of the mix to
bring it to a close in style. 'CLUB SH%T' ups the ante with zippy synths
injecting some texture to slamming drums that straddle the House and Techno
divide, while wispy stabs and warm daubs of sound dance around the cowbells
to make this an evaluated late-night tool. 'FEAR N%THING' is a new school
cut, with filtered loops, sugary chords, and pent-up energy all surging
through the dancefloor. Last but not least is 'ANY1', a sleazy House pumper
featuring moody spoken word, a big, rubbery bassline, and slinky,
Garage-influenced percussion. Active in the underground music scene for two
decades, former Rinse resident and sometime Aus, Shall Not Fade and Unknown
To The Unknown artist has had one hell of a career. From huge breakthrough
tracks like ‘Let it Go’ on Hypercolour and ‘Box Clever’ on 20:20 Vision to
his 2014 ‘Blurred’ LP on Aus, he’s seen universal critical acclaim as well as
massive support from DJs and dancefloors globally. In recent years, his Dumb
Safari label, the online community R Trybe (co-founded by Ramin
Rezaie/BAKKIS) and collaborations with Steve Bug are just a handful of his
projects, while his ‘MIND G%MES’ EP for Rekids is already feeding the fire
with support from Jen Cardini, Cromby, I.Jordan, Jennifer Loveless and big
room dons, Michael Bibi and Solomun |

Imagine cycling through a Van
Gogh landscape; sunflowers, blue skies, sunlight, and the wind on your skin.
That's a bit how Bicycle Ride sounds like. With tender compositions like Wind
on the Water and the romantic I Will Be There (featuring Juliet Klaar, who
later appears on System), this is Shook at his most melodic and reflective.
Piano and synth blend effortlessly, drawing influence from Japanese greats
like Ryuichi Sakamoto, Joe Hisaishi, and the beat-driven sensitivity of
Nujabes. A warm, heartfelt journey and perhaps his most Dutch album yet |

Coming
on Yellow Vinyl. In original form his single 'Hexaline' is an intense and
driving bit of techno with majestic synth patterns that light up the whole
track as they dance up and down the scale whilst the slick drums power on
below. It's a terrific techno cut for the peak of the night to get hands in
the air, with a powerful sound courtesy of Ulrich Schnauss' masterful
mixdown. Hiroshi Watanabe then steps up to remix after strong outings on
labels like Transmat earlier in the year. He is one of Japan's leading
electronic producers on labels likes Mule, King Street Sounds and Kompakt and
here he totally reworks the track into a nine minute techno symphony with icy
drums doing a restless dance as swirling pads bring a cosmic feel. It's epic,
elegant techno that takes you on a real trip. The next remix is from A.Mochi,
one of Len Faki's key label associates on Figure and someone with a live PA
and DJ set that leaves you spellbound. From CLR to Mote-Evolver he has
released on the best contemporary techno labels and played at places like
Berghain so is an unquestionably vital artist. His excellent rework is deep,
slow burning and hugely atmospheric, with pensive pads and tender one-finger
synth notes ringing out into the sky |

Tech-Nology
was launched in 2003 specifically to make records with the artist Bjorn Svin.
Bjorn was the first Danish artist who made underground crossover into
commercial hit territory via "Mer Strom" - but still keeping
respect in the "real" music world for his enthusiasm,
non-compromising style, persona, and sweaty live performance skills - his
musical understanding and need to explore new directions took the crowd on a
personal musical journey from jazz and classical musicians to early
electronic pioneers - but always in a tone of his own. Bjorn always felt a
need to escape norms, to grow and not to repeat, but investigate and create.
The first record on Tech-Nology was born under the alias - El Far: Couples of
lonely dancers. "Bjorn is maybe the most talented electronic producer
ever in Denmark" and he was celebrated as a wonder kid by the media back
in the 90's. An insider with new knowledge of Bjorn told us: "Yeah I
think its good music.. It's not for everyone I must add, but it's definitely
quality music for those who dig this sound.. sometimes a bit too deep.. which
kind of works against it, cause you really need to listen to it.. you cannot
just skip through it, cause then you don't really grasp the soul of it.. so
this is what makes it more difficult to sell - but if a guy like this was a
bigger name he would sell much better.." We love Bjorn and we agree - We
have tried to sell Bjorn and his music for over 2 decades now - But you can't
capture Bjorn, you can't own him - he is only making music for himself - and
you can get on the ride if you want to, but don't expect all the rides to be
fun - sometimes it hurts! Bjorn is difficult to sell, but we don't think
Bjorn really would like to sell much better if he had the option to do a more
commercial approach to his music - because Bjorn is about not selling out,
he's a purist at heart, making music documents for the few. Bjorn is bigger
than superficial success and streaming numbers. He made jingles for Nokia,
toured and played Roskilde's main stage, the biggest Festival in Denmark, but
he still doesn't care... and that is important if you want to make
interesting music that last for the future. When Bjorn met Mester Jakobsen,
label boss of Tech-Nology, he has been releasing on numerous underground
labels, made the jump to a major label, and everything more or less turned
out as a big disappointment, so Bjorn presented a completely experimental
album to the Tech-Nology label under the moniker Prinz Ezo - The Body Offset.
We loved it then - we still love it now - and a truly collectors item and a
secret DJ tool. Today, Bjorn is still breaking all habits and rules, still
doing the same thing - just in new ways, but he has gained insight on another
level, adding even more nuances and textures to his post-genre compositions.
Welcome to the second album by Prinz Ezo on Tech-Nology: KURIER Why Kurier?
Because Bjorn left to explore the Berlin Underground, shortly after the first
two releases on Tech-Nology - he left his roots to search for a bigger
meaning, a bigger understanding, to compose real mature sounds and
understanding his skills, at the point where you understand why you have to
cross borders, still incognito, doing smuggler-sounds, always in transit -
between cities, between cultures, between worlds, time and space. Not
Restless nor rootless, just forever on the move, always discovering new
landscapes! But now Bjorn is settling down - accordingly with the music - to
find - not inner peace, but to be completely in balance with the music inside
of him. Prinz Ezo is raw, narrative, minimalistic electronic storytelling
that refuses to freeze. Tension builds and releases - feel the energy and the
drama for the last 2 decades if you dare to take the journey? Almost twenty
years after the first Prinz Ezo album, it has now been possible to make the
music for those who never arrived |

In
recent years, Blackploid has come to be one of Central Processing Unit's
signature artists. The German producer has averaged more than a record a year
for the Sheffield imprint since he first landed on CPU in 2021. This prolific
run continues with Cosmic Drama, Blackploid's second LP for the label. The
album takes the baton from its predecessor Enter Universe in style,
delivering twelve tracks of top-quality machine-funk that draw down from
electro's classic artists while also imbuing proceedings with a playfulness
that very much gives things a signature Blackploid-ish flavour. Cosmic Drama
sets its stall out from the off. The opening run of 'Alien', 'World
Construction' and 'Virtual State' all deliver piston-snapping beats which
anchor pleasing melanges of B-movie synth lines. Alongside this, Blackploid
adds little flourishes which add buoyancy to each joint - a syncopated
bassline reminiscent of I-f's late-90s classic 'Space Invaders Are Smoking
Grass', crackling robo-voiced commands, skittering synth chords which wash
across the mix and so on. It's the work of someone completely at ease with
their craft, comfortable enough to take risks without upsetting the apple
cart of their sound's core appeal. Blackploid's idiosyncratic approach to
synth work is something which distinguishesCosmic Dramafrom the pack. Electro
has long been a genre which prides itself on innovation on the keys, but few
producers are willing to push their sonics as far as Blackploid does - take
the seasick churn of pads and processors on 'Multiverse', for instance, or
the way John Carpenter-esque single-note lines dovetail with gurgling
synthetic pulses and eerie, spacious chords on 'The Lab', a highlight
ofCosmic Drama's midsection. Cosmic Dramaskips along at club tempo throughout
- every one of these joints will get bodies moving in dark rooms across the
galaxy. However, even when tracks maintain their single-minded pursuit of
machine-funk perfection, they never forget to deliver on the hooks.
Blackploid has lead lines (and counter-melodies) to burn here, and each track
knots them together in ever-more intriguing ways as they plough onwards.
Drexciyan heads will be thrilled by the sci-fi delights of 'Species', for
instance, while Blackploid brings melodies as cold as they are catchy on the
aptly-named 'Polar Dunes'. By the timeCosmic Dramahits upon the
vroom-vrooming bassline line of closer 'Contact', you're fully enthralled to
the album's combination of broken-beat heft and synthetic melodiousness.
Central Processing Unit mainstay Blackploid comes through with another
delightful dozen of electro heaters for the Sheffield label. RIYL:Drexciya,

With celebrating
31 years of Dread we have a re-issue and re-master of these 2 classics on a
Ltd Edition coloured gold vinyl. The A-side Dark Soldier ‘Ghost’ is an Amen
bassline classic with a vibrant vocal. This is a slice of the classic Dread
that helped shape the label's legacy into what it is today. It rips in with
some thundering Amens – think 1994 vibes. One for the dancefloor and the
bass-face crew. The AA-side Dark Soldier VIP is the VIP of the original dark
stepper Reese-beating tear-out roller. With its melodic and hypnotising bass,
this tune just draws you in. The reverse breaks section drives you into a
frenzy and unleashes that memorable bassline from back in the 90s – the
golden years. This Ltd Edition comes on a gold splatter effect colour vinyl
disc – Dread stylee. The Dark Soldier – say no more |

Back in 2016 a talented wordsmith from the Bronx going by the name Mickey
Factz teamed up with producer Nottz to release his full-length "The
Achievement: Circa '82". The album is an ambitious piece of work that
finds Mickey trying to encapsulate all his thoughts in lieu of this very
moment, with Nottz serving as the executive producer providing a plethora of
landscapes for Mickey to illustrate his stories. Featuring guest appearances
by names such as Styles P, Smoke DZA, Phonte, Curren$y, Royce Da 5'9",
Skyzoo, Stalley and several others, this deluxe and extended edition also
presents a few remixes and unreleased tracks, all packed in a 2LP limited
edition vinyl, bringing Mickey's achievements on physical copy for the first
time ever |

the long-awaited and long overdue
7th album from Thailand's delicious reggae/ska ensemble. What happens when
this unique, charismatic and highly energetic band collaborates with
legendary Jamaican artists such as Dennis Alcapone, Horseman, Bubble and The
Producer 'Mike Pelanconi' or 'Prince Fatty'? Pure musical dynamite!! Produced
and mastered both in Thailand and the UK, 'BONE IN DA HOUSE' is clearly
T-BONE's best album to date. In fact, it could very well be their
masterpiece. Enjoy yourself man! |
