More than 20 years after their
debut, Witchcraft's seventh album, 'Idag,' is an awaited full accounting of
who they are as a band. Those who have clamored for the return to an earlier
sound rooted in '70s classic progressive and heavy rock will delight to the
strut of 'Irreligious Flamboyant Flame' while the eight-minute opening
title-track is the heaviest the band have ever sounded, and a succession of
interspersed acoustic-based pieces helps create a vision of a new, soulfully
folkish doom taking shape as they continue to move inexorably forward |

Exclusive
recording from Grumbling Fur: Daniel O'Sullivan (Mothlite, Guapo, Aethenor,
Ulver, Sunn0))) and Alexander Tucker. When the Grumbling Fur album
"Furrier" finally stumbled out of its mossy cavern, its effect was
as mercurial as a half baked troll could be: its 'supergroup' alumni having
forged a surprisingly coherent beast beneath the narcotic haze and warm
fugue.Ever on the pulse, the Latitudes curators fired out an invite
immediately, with very little expectation of a concrete result - This was a
group whose members defined the word prolific - Mainstay Daniel O'Sullivan
himself had at least four bands on the go at the time. Still, we're nothing
if not hopeful.Lo and behold, The Fur came back with not only a confirmation,
but the tantalising prospect of a new sound - more focussed and stripped back
- the (now) duo of O'Sullivan and Tucker's more 'pop' sensibilities coming to
the fore. The studio was booked. The results are stellar. As soon as the
loping breakbeat and pentatonic piano run of "Wylderness Waiting"
kicked in, we knew The Fur had created something very special on our behalf -
the extra space and minimal approach providing a wonderful backdrop to Alex
and Daniel's instantly recognisable lyrical harmonies |

with some Black Flag like medium
tempo as well as the ever raging D-beat but a few new ingredients have been
added to the mix... a tiny dash of goth gloom, a pinch of fucked up
electronics and a rather healthy dose of furious saxophones. That-s right, saxophones!!!
Kinda like Fear sang 'Copenhagen's all right if you like saxophones!-. That
said, it's all Halshug and all very very angry! The same but different |

Upon
seeing an all-star frat band of Deke Dickerson of The Untamed Youth, Miss
Georgia Peach set out to start her own girls in the garage party band in the
twin cities Minnesota. Thus, Beebe Gallini was formed! For this project
producer and drummer for the group Travis Ramin brought the group into the
legendary Kay Bank Studio in Minneapolis. A studio rich in musical history
where everything from Dave Dudley's 'Six Days On The Road' and The
Fendermen's 'Muleskinner Blues' to The Trashmen's legendary 'Surfin' Bird'
and all of Soma Records' Big Hits Of Mid America were recorded. The early
Guess Who recorded there and decided on their name in the building even - the
list goes on and on! Travis' idea for a record was to re-record some
Minnesota garage classics that were originally recorded there in the same
room and invite some of their garage rockin' friends to join them. 'Run Run
Run' by The Gestures and 'Why' by The Accents would feature on lead guitar
Keith Patterson (formerly of The Funseekers, The Spectors, and The
Conquerors). 'I Believe' from The High Spirits would feature Melanie Vammen
of The Pandoras' organ solo and Russell Quan famously of The Mummies, Flakes
and Dukes Of Hamburg would take lead vocal on The Kan-Dels' raucous 'Cry
Girl.' The session was so successful that it expanded into the full-length
album 'Begged, Borrowed And Stealed' and batch of material expanding beyond
the Minnesota borders, with tunes from Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick &
Tich, Otis Redding, Beebe themselves and more! Recording in the sacred space
made for a special rock and roll party album which also features the artwork
of legend Cliff Mott! So, get ready for an all-star cast and a little dose of
Minnesota garage rock and soul! |

Sadly Senseless Things singer Mark Keds passed away in early
2021. In honour of his memory the remaining members have revisited the band's
classic album 'The First Of Too Many' finding the master tapes and re-issuing
it on this new edition. The band were known for their bubblegum pop with a
hard rock edge and the sleeve design was done by one Jamie Hewlett (later of
Gorillaz) |

Causa
Sui return with the perfect companion to last year's tour de force,
"From The Source". Whereas that record was a tightly structured
piece of work, that condensed many aspects of the band's sound into a concise
45 minute LP, "In Flux" presents the more loose and impulsive side
of Causa Sui. After an introductory suite in classic Causa Sui territory,
with deep fuzz riffs and syncopated grooves, things gradually become more
outlandish. The following three vinyl sides see the band channeling Hot
Rats-style jazz fusion, the oceanic post-rock of late-period Talk Talk, and
the impulsive, anarchic experimentalism of Can's "Tago Mago" into
their own beatific brew. On "Spree", the band abandons guitar
entirely, relying on a dual synthesizer on top of drums and bass instead, yet
maintains that uniquely Sui-an vibe. The centerpiece in this set, "Astral
Shores", unfolds over 16 minutes - from gently hypnotic, ritualistic
folk, through motoric psychedelia and back again. It's been many years since
Causa Sui have sounded this unmoored on a studio record. "In Flux"
is an essential chapter in the band's ever-changing oeuvre. The double
10" format might seem like an odd choice, but splitting the album into
four short, distinctive parts makes perfect sense stylistically. Each side
has a character all off its own, taking the listener somewhere different.
Still a continious CD version is available as well |

Soon after the release of King
Crimson's 1969 masterpiece, In the Court of the Crimson King, band members
Michael Giles and Ian McDonald began to disagree with the direction the band
was taking and soon split off to start their own project. 1971 saw the release
of an excellent studio album on Island Records called simply McDonald and
Giles. Although the album was similar in style and complexity to King
Crimson, the sound was considerably less dark overall. In fact, regarding
this difference, McDonald commented at the time, "I want to make music
that says good things instead of evil things". The album also featured
Michael Giles's brother Peter (from their days with Giles, Giles &
Fripp), and guest musician Steve Winwood, whose keyboard playing can be heard
on "Turnham Green" |

Singer, composer and transgender
activist Beverly Glenn-Copeland has been defying genres and swerving
categorisation for over fifty years of joyful creativity. Originally released
in 2004 under the pseudonym Phynix, which Glenn-Copeland adopted after recovering
from an illness that almost took his life, `Primal Prayer' is all about
rejuvenation, in both body and faith. Tracks like `Back To Bachland' and `In
The Image' shift effortlessly from choral to gospel to graceful disco,
resulting in something that has as much in common with Massive Attack as it
does his fellow Philadelphians Sister Sledge or Barbara Mason |

El músico mallorquín, afincado en
Madrid, vuelve con un nuevo disco, tras una carrera coherente, tanto con su
grupos anteriores, The Bolivians y The Pauls, como en solitario.
desde `The Beatles', Big Star, Elton John y Fleetwood Mac, Badfinger, Elvis
Costello y Ben Folds |

What made Rufus Thomas one of the undisputed dancefloor kings of his time was
his ability to keep things simple and to the point, and to let the funk do
the talking. Here the funk is talking so loud it's almost screaming. Most of
you will need no introduction to rampant "Yellow Stax" club
classics like Push And Pull, Breakdown and Itch And Scratch, not to mention
some of Rufus' slightly earlier floorfillers like Sophisticated Sissy and
Funky Mississippi. And it won't take you long to grow to know and love the
quintet of tracks that were originally destined to be part of Rufus' 1975
Stax album that got shelved when the company went under in that same year.
"I ain't getting older, I'm getting better" barks Rufus over the relentless,
spartan funk of one of them, I'm Getting Better. Quite so - and much the same
can be said for the contents of this LP. Rufus Thomas. No longer the
"Funkiest Man Alive", that's true. But forever The Funkiest Man as
far as Memphis music is concerned. You want proof? Here's your proof |

While it may not be one of Ray
Pérez's most well-known albums, "Ra! Rai!" certainly deserves to
be. The LP is full of heavy salsa anthems and brave, quirky eclecticism that
reflects the Venezuelan pianist's unique genius. Thankfully, the record has
been rescued from obscurity and lovingly restored, remastered from the
original tapes, fully licensed, with its original Pyraphon artwork intact,
preserving and presenting the legacy of this great music for today's

When last we left the Copenhagen
trio they had swept the inaugural MSA Clandestine Cut award, winning both
reader and staff awards for their 2010 Legacy Of Wolves EP. Since that point
they done got themselves signed and recorded their first full-length album,
To Solemn Ash. So that's the more of it, and the same of it is the approach.
it's largely fast-paced, pedal to the metal sludge. Whereas a lot of the
American sludge-derivatives such as Mastodon, Kylesa, and Baroness have all
gone "light" and incorporated 70's prog and effects into their
tunes, Rising still pound out visceral and powerful tunes |

This is one of the most obscure singles ever released in
Venezuela in the 60s. The outstanding The Pets' original 'El entierro de un
hombre rico que murió de hambre' is one of the finest garage tunes to emerge
from Latin America. Their stunning take on The Door's 'Hello, I Love You'
takes the B side. A garage DJs favorite! First time 45 reissue, audios

After
two albums inspired by vast northern landscapes, the forces of nature, and an
ever-present sense of duality, Glass Museum shifts gears. The Brussels-based
group-originally formed in 2016 by pianist Antoine Flipo and drummer Martin
Grégoire-welcomes bassist Issam Labbene as an official third member, opening
up a richer, more immersive sound and setting its sights on the rhythms of
the modern city. A true turning point in Glass Museum's career, the new album
4N4LOG CITY twists the codes of electronic music, explores the depths of
jazz, and asserts its eclecticism through a fresh and infectious groove.
Signed to the forward-thinking Belgian label Sdban Records, the group shapes
its identity within the vaulted ceilings of Volta, a creative hub in Brussels
frequented by the vanguard of Belgium's "new scene." Sharing space
with acts like ECHT!, Lander & Adriaan, and Tukan, the band continues to
push its boundaries through collaboration and reinvention. Recorded between
the French countryside of Drôme, the industrial edges of Brussels, and Volta,
4N4LOG CITY features striking guest appearances. Swiss drummer Arthur
Hnatek-known for his work with Tigran Hamasyan and Erik Truffaz, and praised
by Gilles Peterson and Laurent Garnier-drives the opener "GATE 1"
into hypnotic, krautrock-inspired territory. Meanwhile, rising vocalist JDS
lends soulful grace to "Call Me Names", evoking the emotive
textures and elegance of vintage soul-jazz reminiscent of the likes of Jordan
Rakei or Tom Misch & Yussef Dayes. Without abandoning their melodic roots
and foundational approach, the trio takes daring steps into new terrain. The
experimental centerpiece "III" explores the piano as a textural and
rhythmic force, drifting between ambient and breakbeat. Elsewhere, the gritty
"VAN GLAS"-a hip-hop-tinged track featuring rapper JAZZ BRAK of
STIKSTOF-the band ventures far beyond their comfort zone, injecting
streetwise lyricism in their mix of electronics and jazz. Fueled by the
heartbeat of the city, 4N4LOG CITY captures the mechanical ebb and flow
beneath concrete towers-the anonymous rhythms of daily life moving over the
asphalt, and the fleeting, meaningful connections made along the way.
Produced by Antoine Flipo and mixed by Elsa Grelot (Avalanche Kaito), the
album stands at the intersection of human emotion and urban architecture-a
post-modern, deeply cinematic work that asserts Glass Museum's place at the
cutting edge of European music |

Na
Nich returns to his roots after a series of successful releases on respected
labels such as Delsin, Semantica, On Board, and Fur:ther Sessions. The
Ukrainian producer's latest EP pays tribute to his foundation in broken beats
and bass music - the core of his craft before adopting the Na Nich moniker.
Co-founder of Rhythm Buro and formerly known as Sunchase, Oleksandr Pavlenko
shifted from his decades-long bass music career towards house and techno
about ten years ago. Yet those early influences never truly disappeared. On
Your Curves, Oleksandr skillfully blends his bass-heavy legacy with the sonic
palettes characteristic of his later work, merging two worlds into a cohesive
sound. The A-side opens with 'Unfulfilled Expectations', a deep roller rich
with bass textures and mellow synths. It's followed by 'Everything', a slow
burner infused with '90s vibes, featuring old- school vocal samples and a
drum pattern reminiscent of UK garage. On the flip side, 'Rain Inside'
delivers the EP's grooviest moment, with broken beats crafted for the
dancefloor and an intimate, close-your-eyes 4 a.m. mood. The title track,
'Your Curves', closes the EP with a deep and melancholic atmosphere. This
release stands out amid contemporary offerings, reminding listeners that
essence always triumphs over form |

(1xLP,
180 gr black vinyl + insert) Fans of PJ Harvey, Cat Power, and Blonde Redhead
will definitely be able to connect with what Chantal is manifesting and her
genre expansive alternative rock sound. The new album, dubbed ‘The Whale’,
was produced by Chris Eckman (of The Walkabouts) and will be released on
September 19 by Starman Records. Dutch-born, Belgian-based artist Chantal
Acda has been releasing her music and touring internationally since 2006. Her
impressive and eclectic catalog includes numerous band projects,
collaborations, and solo albums. The 2024 album Silently Held, recorded with
The Atlantic Drifters, is nominated in 2025 for an Edison Award in the
Netherlands. Her upcoming album, The Whale, will be released on September 19,
2025, followed by an extensive European tour. The album was produced by Chris
Eckman (The Walkabouts) and recorded with her live band, which she has been
performing with for over a decade. The songs were co-written with band
members Eric Thielemans, Alan Gevaert, Gaëtan Vandewoude, and Niels Van
Heertum. The sound of The Whale is rougher and more rock-oriented than her
previous projects, but her signature introspection and vulnerability remain
at the core of the music. Singles “Heads” and “Make It Work” have received
airplay in Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, and Germany. In the past,
Chantal has recorded and performed with artists such as Bill Frisell, Nils
Frahm, and members of Low, Múm, and Efterklang. Currently, she is also a
member of the bands Distance, Light & Sky (with Chris Eckman of The
Walkabouts and Eric Thielemans) and Isbells. Shows Chantal Acda: 06.09 – De

Selected retrospect from last year left off, more previously CD-only material
from the extensive Atone archive has been added. Aimed a little more at the
dancefloor, the tracks on this twelve faultlessly maintain the balance
between the Dubby and loved up House spirit that Atone embraces so well.

in gatefold sleeve. On MEYDAN, Meral and her band continue their exploration
of Anatolian and Mesopotamian music, particularly the Turkish psychedelic
rock revolution of the 1970s and the ancient Kurdish Dengbej traditions.Meral
primarily showcases her own voice, that of a woman exercising her right to
live on her own terms, free from the oppressive interference of patriarchy.
For fans of Altin Gün, Gaye Su Akyol and Baba Zula. In 2022, Meral Polat
released her debut album "Ez Ki Me" as a singer under the name
Meral Polat Trio. "Ez Ki Me" roughly translates to "Who am
I?". The album was a search by the singer for her Alevi Kurdish roots.
In her lyrics, Meral incorporated many poems from her late father, Adi Ihsan
Polat. The album received positive reviews and was nominated for a Music
Award by Songlines. On her new album MEYDAN, Meral primarily showcases herown
voice, that of a woman exercising her right to live on her own terms, free
from the oppressive interference of patriarchy. The album celebrates female
strength, inspired by the philosophy of "JIN, JIYAN, AZADI" (WOMAN,
LIFE, FREEDOM), a phrase originating from Kurdish-led women's movements. JIN,
JIYAN, AZADI symbolizes resistance to oppression and the fight for women's
rights. Musically, MEYDAN takes it a step further than the debut album. Meral
welcomes drummer Jens Bouttery to the band, along with many inspiring guest
musicians. The track "Cenek" features a determined choir of 26
women of various ages and cultural backgrounds. In "Çiya Icaro",
Meral shares a duet with Bolivian artist Ibbelise Guarda Ferraguti. On
MEYDAN, Meral and her band continue their exploration of Anatolian and
Mesopotamian music, particularly the Turkish psychedelic rock revolution of
the 1970s and the ancient Kurdish Dengbej traditions. The bandtraveled to
Istanbul to record with Murat Ertel from Baba Zula and trumpet player Can
Omer Uygan. In addition to Anatolian music styles, influences from Mali Blues
and Nigerian Afrobeat are embraced. Another notable guest is Senegalese
musician Mola Sylla, who lent his voice and improvisational talent to the
track "Govend". While the drums, keyboards or guitar, and Polat's
voice still form the core of the album, each track also contains its own
collage of synthesizers, vocal harmonies, percussion, organ, piano, distorted
guitars, and guest musicians. All tracks were mixed by the exceptional
Belgian mixing engineer Pieterjan Coppejans, who added depth to their sound.
All of this results in a particularly rich and uplifting album with a message |

On
Biotope, Valentino Mora ventures even further from the dancefloor, delving
into a rich, psychoacoustic realm shaped by modular and spectral synthesis.
Built primarily around the Rossum Panharmonium, a module that analyzes and
re-synthesizes audio into evolving harmonic clusters in real time, the album
conjures an imagined ecosystem, where sound behaves with the logic and
fluidity of organic life. Eschewing traditional field recordings, Mora
instead sculpts textures and gestures that feel deeply natural yet are
entirely synthetic. Inspired by elements such as soil composition, air,
humidity, light, temperature, and the chemical properties of both land and
aquatic environments and the living creatures that inhabit them, the
soundscapes emerge as a kind of sonic biology. The result is a collection of
slow-moving, tension-laden compositions that blur the boundaries between
physical sensation and abstract design. Biotope unfolds like a closed
ecosystem: modular synthesis treated as a breathing entity, shaped by
resonance, friction, and organic motion. It embodies a kind of mystical
biology, where textures mimic living forms, and frequencies pulse with
intent. This is music to be felt as much as heard, Biotope invites you to
listen with your skin, not just your ears |

It's
time for a new compilation in our house and we have some good music to fill
it up. This collection of talent is going to be served in two flavours, the
physical one a four cut vinyl EP featuring previously only digital tracks and
the second one a ten track selection from our back catalogue featuring some
of the best producers in our family. Asier Morillas ( A4 ) is probably one of
the most original sci fi specialists out there and he's been part of our
sound since his first steps into production. His track Kynosoura is a perfect
example of hi tech jazz. David Reina is also a science fiction specialist,
also featured with a full length work in our catalogue, our pick for this
collection is Autoscopy, a mental and complex sonic voyage into the best outer
space techno. From Mod 21 we have selected one of his most played tools,
Escalation of Violence, the perfect hypnotic drill to boost your mixes
properly. Vertical Spectrum brings us to hyperspace in BALN006 combining a
distorted groove with floating alien bleeps in a sci-fi techno masterpiece.
This four cuts will be pressed on wax, let's talk about the next eight: From
his Idle Ep we have chosen Temudo's Spiritual Song, a merciless floor weapon
heavily tested on the best clubs and big stages out there. Next comes BiiBii
by Null Forms approaching a more abstract and sci-fi terrain, maintaining the
danceable pulse and well-managed distortion. The result is more mental and
synthetic. A kind of controlled chaos. Axial Rotation from Translate starts with
a fast paced groove, heavily bass fuelled with a continuous synth line moving
across the basement. All sound elements are constantly mutating and evolving
although the mood is linear and loopy. Eight cut comes from Dutch veteran
Dimi Angelis, the third from his A Journal of Impossible Things EP from 2023.
The hypnotic bleep penetrates your mind while the dirty sound of the old drum
machine sets the pace for your feet. Special mention to the occasional
resonant sweep that appears from time to time creating the required tension.
On the ninth, Ruman's Lizard from Where The Ring Ends LP, mental and
hypnotic, perfect for adding tension to a mix, again heavily tested on the
best dancefloors extensively. Closing the release, CONCEPTUAL with Red Sun a
magnificent closing anthem, no more words needed here. With this collection
you get a tiny snapshot of the sonic palette of Warm Up Recordings sound.

Gesloten Cirkel is back with a blistering new 4-track release.
Known for his uncompromising sound, he dives effortlessly into stroboscopic
acid with the title track and the ruthless "Heisinprison," while
delivering near-tearjerking industrialized house with the summer-tinged jams
"F-unkz3" and "Breaking The Lamp." The Acid Puke EP oozes
equal parts dystopian rave energy and twisted melodic bliss. This is Gesloten

"New Juke Swing" marks
SHONIIA's debut in the Juke/Footwork genre, where he fully embraces the
rhythmic freedom that defines the style. Centered around sampling, the
release weaves together a rich palette of New Jack Swing, R&B, and soul
samples, layered over rapid, broken Chicago rhythms built primarily on the
genre's staple drum machines - the RolandR70 and 808 - and spiced with
looping vocal phrases. The album doesn't reject the genre's rules - it plays
with them. You'll hear breakbeat elements (MY MUSIC), signature clipping and
lo-fi textures (KEEP FREAKY, LOOK AT ME), and even drill influences (HUNG UP
AGAIN). The final countdown in DROP ITDOWN LIKE THIS can be read as both a
tribute to the cyclical nature of beat-driven music - a core part of the
producer's background - and a hint at a possible continuation of the series |

In
the winter of 2023, Ingri Hoyland and Ida Urd retreated to a Danish
sommerhus, or summer house--the tiny, tidy shacks that are a central feature
of the national culture, where for generations, Danes have whiled away the
warm months with their families. Picture the scene: an abiding quiet all
around. Gardens carpeted by snow; beach grass silvery against the silvery
sky; a tendril of smoke rising from the chimney. Not another soul in earshot.
This sanctuary was the origin for Hoyland and Urd's Duvet, a meditation on
shelter, trust, and communication. They were motivated by the idea of
nesting: finding ways of feeling safe and being at home while traveling,
moving through seasons, enduring periods of change. "Establishing
surroundings, rearranging furniture, moving towards the light, collecting
flowers or other objects reminiscent of a river, a garden, a memory,"
they write. "A gentle and careful process to make your surroundings feel
open for playing, writing, caregiving, or resting." Hoyland and Urd both
studied at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, which has turned
out acclaimed artists like Clarissa Connelly, Smerz, and Fine; over the past
few years, the two musicians have developed a collaborative method based on
connection and trust. A practice, they write, "where composing, or
rather suggesting, sounds and melodies for one another is a way of carefully
talking, mending emotions and obstacles. Saying yes to one another. The
compositional space becomes a nest for entangling whatever emotions,
thoughts, or barriers one of the composers brings to the given day or
moment." Sonically, Duvet feels like an extension of Hoyland's last
album, 2023's Ode to Stone, which also featured Urd along with ambient musician
Sofie Birch and visual artist Lea Guldditte Hestelund. But where that album,
created in response to an open call for work themed around Denmark's national
parks, suggested rolling landscapes and endless horizons, Duvet turns inward,
countering chill winds with glowing warmth. Its eight tracks seek a balance
between abstraction and melody, intention and happenstance. "We had a
truly inspiring and rewarding process working with Birk Gjerlufsen Nielsen
from Vanessa Amara, who co-produced and mixed the album with us," Ingri
adds. "He approached the material with great care and sensitivity, while
also bringing his own distinct presence and creativity into the sound |

Birthed from the resurgent Emo
and Grunge scenes, and reminiscent of the early 2000's MTV aesthetic and
sound, Split Chain present a refreshing balance of Shoegaze, Grunge and
Nu-Metal to the UK's ever growing alternative musical landscape. Delivering
guitar immersed in chorus, whilst coherently synthesising the familiar grit
of modern day hardcore, within distorted, ethereal vocal hooks |

Yellow vinyl. Adrenalin O.D.'s
Cruising with Elvis in Bigfoot's U.F.O. marks a turning point where the
band's rapid-fire hardcore began blending with sharper songwriting and
catchier hooks - still wild, still hilarious, but tighter and more tuneful.
Produced by Daniel Rey and restored from the original master tapes, this
reissue brings back the album in all its manic, sneering glory. No filler, no
extras - just the original mayhem, loud and clear, the way it was meant to be
heard |

DROP COLLECTIVE is an ensemble of
ten musicians fusing Jamaican music and jazz in a repertoire of own-penned
compositions and arrangements, never forgetting the importance of making the
audience dance. Antillean rhythms and melodies under the jazz umbrella, but
with a reverence for the essence of both traditions. COME SHINE is the second
effort of this young band founded in Barcelona in 2016 |

Livity
Sound welcomes Joe Milli to the fold with an assured EP of crisp club
workouts that land between techno's evocative depth and UK funky's offbeat,
drum-focused functionality. Over the past few years Milli has been
establishing his sound across a swathe of radio shows, guest mixes and
releases, and he lands on Livity with a timeless take on the label's
commitment to stripped back, atmospheric soundsystem music. There's variety
across the Deep Forest EP, ranging from the balmy bassweight house of the
title track to the deep-diving dub pulses and bruk drum science of 'Look
Again'. 'Keep That Wire' draws nervous energy from its synth hooks and the
taut, angular beat before the rolling Detroit techno pulse of 'Expressions'
brings the EP home in punchy, percussion-loaded style. In line with past
releases from the likes of Bakongo, DJ Polo and Tribal Brothers, Milli's
strength lies in his ability to bend the UK funky formula to different
styles, all precision-tooled for the club. Livity Sound is a label set up by
Peverelist in 2011 as a vehicle for a raw and exploratory strain of UK
techno, rooted in the heritage of UK dance music and sound system culture. It
has since become one of the UK's foremost protagonists for cutting edge
underground electronic music |

Oddball
indie-pop band Meetsysteem returns this spring with their long-awaited third
studio album; their most beautiful one yet. What began as a search for a
simple solo-record, a warm sound and a feeling reminiscent of their debut
release, Geen Signaal, evolved into something far greater. In an attempt to
rediscover that feeling, the writing began in the same spaces in Thailand
where Geen Signaal was produced. It was there, on the other side of the
globe, where a familiar face would become the source of inspiration. The
Moon, floating in the vast endlessness of space was the guiding artistic
force. Reconnecting Meetsysteem with their remarkable lyrical poetry,
ambiguous messages combined with a subtle hidden darkness. Meetsystem
regained their rare ability to create a vacuum to float in, just like the
moon looming above us. The journey ignited a curiosity to question what
forces act upon us keeping us in place and what is really on the other side?
Along the way answers were found together with the people who crossed paths
with Meetsysteem; like-minded artists who were simultaneously grappling with
the same questions. Through their collective reflections this "would
be" solo record turned into a powerhouse of musical collaboration. With
poetry by Pelumi Adejumo, existential outcries by punk-activist Sophie
Straat, metaphysical lyrics by Lewsberg's Arie van Vliet, weighted vocals by
Ranie Ribeiro and Nana Adjoa, a meeting with Giant Julie and a wealth of
extra hidden features, from voice memos to trumpet solos: the album became a
collage of life--making it the freest, darkest, and most complete Meetsysteem
album to date |

'In
1977, it was love at first sight when Mireille and I bought a long
18th-century farmhouse in a remote hamlet in the Seine-et-Marne department
called Noisement. The barn, with its majestic secular exposed beams, became
an original recording studio where Alain Gandolfi settled behind the console.
Free of any contractual obligations, between two advertising commissions, a
regular jazz program on a Radio France FM station, and the recording of
jingles and a few albums by neighboring musician friends such as Siegfried
Kessler, Rosalie Dubois and Claude Giacomi, we recorded some twenty CORTEX
tracks here, which would remain unreleased long after our separation in 1981.
Fortunately rediscovered 25 years later, when I decided to re-form Cortex,
the first edition of the ''INEDITS 79'' album had only a limited edition...
Until its discovery and the use of a sample of my track ''I Heard a Sigh'' in
Amnesie by Damso. This sample became legendary and was later used in the USA
by Raekwon and Masta Killa from Wu Tang, Blockhead, Sopico, etc. The cover of
this new edition by Trad Vibe Records is based on the original poster for
Cortex's first concert, created in 1973 by my graphic designer friend
Jean-Jacques Grand. Thank you all for your support, Alain Mion founder and
leader of Cortex'' |

Unmistakable
are the sonic experiments of Spanish alchemist ORBE; with this fresh release
on Token. ORBE's iconically viscous textures and impactful percussion weasel
their way into 'Ascender' for a deeper release on Kr!z's label. Thick,
brooding atmospheres drive these tracks into stories of pursuit and escape
throughout its four tracks. A slick, pulsating low end in 'Flashback' stands
out as a first impression for an imposing EP. Electric leads zip by for
maximum psychosis; he's known for his uncompromising dissonance and drive. A
staple of the Spanish scene, ORBE bites down hard on deep and hypnotic techno
to resonate through concrete warehouses. This jagged edge to club music
continues through 'W9Y' - a more drum-forward cut with noisy transitions and
breathable synthwork. Sharper stabs occupy this space as opposed to the
track's predecessor and tension is maintained with a lingering pad in the
background. A meditative conclusion for the A side, ORBE quickly shifts his
attention in the titletrack 'Ascender'. Emphasizing tone and tune on the
kick, the lead comes with confrontation. Rolling through shifting hats, the
producer brings boiling tension through minimal arrangement and the weight of
his sound design - a skillset only the most seasoned artists can claim. To
close things out, 'Break Nation' does just that - cutting off the traditional
four/four rhythm and instead presenting itself as a bass stepper. With ORBE's
classic unison packed synths, this dweller presents a whole other perspective
on 'Ascender'. A hybrid of influences and yet still destined for the techno
dancefloor, this breath of fresh air serves as deep dive into the
subconscious for an eyes-closed experience |

had this to say in his review of it for Muzik magazine in February 1997.
"Acid Techno, slo-mo Hip Hop breaks, right through to old school, bottom
heavy warehouse grooves and Depeche Mode-meets-Juan Atkins purism. The real
surprise, here, though, is how thoroughly listenable the whole thing is.
Innovative, imaginative, and pretty bloody good." This release includes
all 5 tracks from the original AX001 release which has been selling for over

Spanish producer Larsson delivers a deep and hypnotic 4-tracker
for Fuxbau Records, marking his vinyl debut on the label. Written in the
rural village where Larsson grew up, the EP carries a sense of groundedness
and clarity. Created in his parents' home, surrounded by nature and far from
urban distraction, the tracks reflect a setting where ideas unfold
organically. The result is a tightly cut selection of groovy, rolling techno
- stripped back, hypnotic, and full of tension. That contrast between calm
surroundings and high-impact club energy runs through all four tracks:
stripped-back yet detailed, functional yet full of soul |

brings his signature blend of cheeky rhythms and weighty low-end to the
table. KUJE001 proudly marks the first chapter of the label's journey,
dedicated to unearthing raw, unfiltered talent. The A-side delivers serious
impact: Bound is a propulsive dancefloor tool built for DJs, while Rabbit
Hole hits hard with distorted effects and a Blawan-esque edge. On the flip,
Tracer floats into spacey, bounding territory with a touch of psychedelic
energy, already picking up early support. Closing the release is Technical
Itch, a UK-rooted banger that ties together the artist's heritage with the
label's forward-thinking intent. Each track carries Nathan's unmistakable
character-playful, punchy, and irresistibly 2-steppable. This is techno with
a wink, made for sweat-soaked floors and heads-down moments alike |

Monologues Records continues its 10th anniversary celebration
with a collection of some magical balmy blissed-out Balearic grooves from its
catalogue. Label boss Ben Gomori's 'Inside Melody' featuring Daisybelle makes
it onto wax after being the lead single from his debut album 'Collapsing
Time', Laurence Guy's first ever EP puts in a shift with the hazy 'Sunlite',
Gomori remixes Danish prodigy Ghosten's melancholic 'Abandoned Planet' in
euphoric piano house style, and Glasgow dons Manakinz (aka Sub Club /
Subculture legend Harri and Max Raskin) do their chuggy thing on the
spinge-tingling throbber 'Electric Bob' |

Berlin's
Scheermann debuts on Mutual Rytm with deeply personal EP, 'Viciosa'.
Scheermann is at the heart of the Berlin underground as a DJ/producer, but
also working behind the scenes at the Intakt Berlin vinyl pressing plant,
where he first met Mutual Rytm founder SHDW. As a resident of the Lorem Ipsum
party series, he delivers cultured and compelling grooves, and is also an
active member of the Wesertekk collective - supporting and pushing club
culture to the forefront in more rural areas. His music comes from a deeply
personal place, never chasing hype or headlines, and is usually found at home
on his own imprint, SAMMLER. This new EP marks his first appearance away from
the label as he unveils a collection of records crafted over five years, with
each track representing different moments in his life. 'Viciosa' kicks off
with paranoid vocals panning about as swinging, warehouse-ready drums pound
heavily below. The gritty synth craft adds plenty of texture as filters build
the vibe. 'Placid Sin' is even more intense with unresolved synths tripping
you in a loopy state while coarse percussion and cantering drums march on.
'Don't Care' is a rave-ready cut that injects your soul with urgent synth
energy over more minimal and moody drums. 'Kano' brings a more elastic rhythm
with dubby undercurrents and sleek sonar pulses infusing it with mystery,
while 'Reika' is a nimble cut with icy hi hats and curious synth notes
layering in late night suspense. First digital bonus 'Resoclap' is a
heavyweight swinger with dark, groaning voices, before the second digital
bonus 'Mizu' provides a speedy and supple workout for body and mind.
Scheermann 'Viciosa' lands on Mutual Rytm on 22nd August 2025 |

KiNK
& Raredub launch new sub-label Raw on SHDW's Mutual Rytm with bold
two-tracker 'You And Me', backed by a VIP remix of 'Time To Change' from Paul
Woolford aka Special Request. Following their standout debut on Spectra with
'Time To Change', Bulgaria's finest dance music export KiNK & Raredub
return to the Mutual Rytm universe to launch the label's new sub-series:
Mutual Rytm Raw. Their latest release, 'You And Me', marks the next step in
their collaboration - two stripped-back yet anthemic cuts that embody their
signature sound: "Rude Boy Techno", a fusion of techno's drive with
the swing and grit of UK Garage. Both versions of 'You And Me' are built for
the floor, combining sharp percussion, catchy vocal hooks, and powerful low-end
pressure - minimal in structure but rich in character and groove. Rounding
off the release is a standout VIP remix from Paul Woolford aka Special
Request - one of his infamous 'Variation in Production' versions - offering a
stripped yet high-impact reinterpretation of KiNK & Raredub's previous
single 'Time To Change'. Raw, rolling, and unmistakably shaped by his UK
Garage-influenced style |

In Soft Power, Funk Assault turns
their surgical precision toward the invisible forces that shape modern life -
control not through force, but through aesthetics, etiquette, and algorithms.
Across five tightly woven tracks, the duo dissects how obedience is
engineered through desire, conformity, and digital seduction. From the
sterile luxury of Aesthetics of Desire to the algorithmic exhibitionism of
Like Me, Watch Me, and the chilling calm of Obedience Spa, this EP is a
reflection on how control has evolved -smoother, quieter, but no less
powerful. Soft Power invites listeners to dance, reflect, and perhaps notice
the strings they didn't know were there |

Germany's
Invexis comes back to the Manchester-based Scrap & Delete label with the
'Morphium' EP, arriving 19th September 2025. The four tracks follow up his
remix for label founder Dorbachov's 'Ellesmere Street' EP earlier in 2025,
which won support from Luke Slater, Jako Jako, Dave Clarke, and more. Title
track 'Morphium' opens the EP in unexpected territory: an emotive, melodic
crossover track that retains Invexis' mechanical backbone while reaching for
something more transcendent. With soaring synth layers and expertly balanced
weight, it's a rare euphoric moment in his catalogue; one destined to erupt
across festival tents. 'Nordic Noise' pulls things back into colder, rawer
terrain, a frostbitten slab of functional minimalism with raw textures,
fizzing hi-hats, and relentless groove cycles. 'Instinct' channels classic
loop techno through a modern lens, driven by restless percussion and
syncopated punch. Finally, 'RS' pays tribute to late-'90s groove science with
complex, kinetic motion and heads-down intensity, reimagined for a new
generation of warehouse punters |

& Produced by Daniele Serraino (D/n), and Carlos Pineda (Linear Phase)
all rights reserved. "Static Rite" is the result of a sonic
dialogue between two producers-D/n and Linear Phase-united by a deep,
hypnotic, and physical approach to techno. The EP unfolds within the realm of
hypnotic/RAW tech- no, where repetition becomes a perceptual language and
sound turns into ritual. Italian-born, Berlin-based D/n contributes the
A-side with "Resonant Shift" and "Blind Motion," two
tracks built on dub textures, dark atmospheres, and broken rhythmic
structures. His magnetic, slow-burning sound reflects years of evolution from
the underground acid scene to immersive techno sets in venues like Tresor and
Zur Klappe. D/n's tracks have garnered support from renowned artists. On the
B-side, Spanish producer Linear Phase offers "Mandatory" and
"Silent Widow," showcasing his refined modular synthesis and deep
sound design. With over 50 releases on labels like Drumcode LTD, Planet
Rhythm, and Edit Select, his style fuses ambient depth with raw, hypnotic
intensity |

Music proudly presents the long-awaited reissue of David Brown – “Feel Love”,
originally released in 1994 and now making its triumphant return on vinyl for
the first time in decades. Cataloged as LAR010, this essential piece of
Chicago house history has been lovingly remastered and pressed to wax,
reaffirming its legacy as a cornerstone of the genre. Produced by Sherman
Rogers and Darren Brandon of the acclaimed Black Ice Productions, “Feel Love”
is a quintessential expression of the raw, soulful energy that defined the
Windy City’s deep house scene in the early '90s. Blending hypnotic rhythms,
warm synths, and David Brown’s emotive vocal delivery, the track captured the
hearts of underground dancefloors from Chicago to the world. Adding to the release's
weight is an all-star lineup of remixers who need no introduction: Ralphi
Rosario, one of house music’s original architects and a member of the
legendary Hot Mix 5, brings his signature peak-hour intensity and timeless
groove. Derrick Carter & Chris Nazuka, operating under their cult alias
Red Nail, deliver a raw, stripped-back interpretation, dripping with analog
grit and deep, jacking flavor. This reissue isn’t just a nod to
nostalgia—it’s a powerful reminder of house music’s roots and enduring
spirit. Whether rediscovered or experienced for the first time, “Feel Love”
stands tall as a classic slice of Chicago house, as relevant on today’s
dancefloors as it was over 30 years ago |

Crosstown
Rebels reignites Amtrac’s ‘Just’ with fresh remix package, featuring Patrice
Bäumel. Landing 29th August 2025, the emotive 2019 track is reimagined with a
powerful take from Bäumel plus a Club Mix from Amtrac himself. Damian Lazarus
welcomes Kentucky-born, Los Angeles-based artist Amtrac to Crosstown Rebels
for a special revisit of his much-loved track ‘Just’, originally released in
2019 on his label OPENERS. The 2025 remix package brings fresh
interpretations crafted for the dancefloor courtesy of acclaimed German-born,
Lisbon-based producer Patrice Bäumel, alongside Amtrac’s own extended Club
Mix. Known for his fearless musical evolution, Amtrac, real name Caleb
Cornett, has carved a reputation for bridging genres with emotion-led dance
music that resonates both on and off the dancefloor. Revisiting ‘Just’ with
Crosstown Rebels marks a new chapter in the track’s journey, opening it up to
a new wave of club-ready reinterpretations. As the original’s shimmering
melodies meet fresh layers of rhythm and energy, the result is a record that
resonates with both nostalgia and forward motion. Leading the charge, Patrice
Bäumel steps up with a stunning remix that transforms the original into a
hypnotic, high-impact dancefloor weapon. Drawing on his storied history of
creating euphoric moments on the world’s biggest stages with material on
labels such as Kompakt and Cocoon, Patrice infuses his unmistakable,
tension-building style, layering driving grooves with cinematic textures.
Speaking on the remix, Rounding out the package, Amtrac himself delivers his
own Club Mix, reimagining ‘Just’ with extended energy and a refi ned
arrangement built for peak-time sets, highlighting his ever-evolving approach
to production and delivering his own vision for the record when transformed

Bodhi,
the Cardiff-based production team, return to Hotflush Recordings with a
follow-up to last year’s standout Laurus Ascending extended play. Having
emerged in 2012 with a slew of breathlessly-received edits and subsequent
releases on labels including Future Classic and Rinse, the pair took a 4-year
hiatus in 2017, returning with an invigorated sound in 2022. Recent releases
on Hotflush and dh2 have brought the duo back to the forefront of the UK’s
cutting edge music scene. ‘Corrupta’ is six tracks of bass-inflected,
garage-influenced beat science. Opener ‘dwndwn’ sets the stage with a genuine
wtf beat-drop moment. That vibe is continued on the shuffling ‘Silian Rail’.
Dancefloor smasher ‘Okinobi’ is a hat-tip to the recent Speed Garage revival,
while T.O.P. is a classic slice of 2-step bassline pressure. Bodhi’s techno
influences are also present with electro breaks hybrid of ‘Without You’ and
the 8am Berghain vibes of ‘Bellcurve’. This is another long-form statement of
intent from some of the most inventive club producers in the game right now.

Hilit
Kolet and The Illustrious Blacks team up for the ‘Transatlantic Kiki’ EP.
Dropping on Rekids late August, the package is remixed by Floorplan.
London-based artist Hilit Kolet returns to Rekids, collaborating with New
York’s The Illustrous Blacks, the project formed by Manchildblack and Monstah
Black, for the ‘Transatlantic Kiki’ EP, landing 29th August 2025 via Radio
Slave’s Rekids. Legendary father-daughter duo Floorplan remix the single,
with the release following up Kolet’s 2024 ‘Snap Talk’ EP, which won support
from artists like Dam Swindle, Chloé Caillet, Bradley Zero, and more. With
lyrics that connect London and New York, ‘Transatlantic Kiki’ is a tough,
funk-fueled roller true to Hilit Kolet’s signature production style, infused
with an unmatchable personality via The Illustrous Blacks’ playful,
vogue-like vocals. It’s hypnotic, bold, and irresistible, with the pair
supplying a loopy ‘First Class’ mix that introduces vocal elements not
featured in the original, amplifying the track’s qualities to hit even
harder, and works the dancefloor into a sweat. Robert and Lyric Hood, known
together as Floorplan, remix Hilit Kolet & The Illustrous Blacks’
‘Transatlantic Kiki’. Equally infectious as the original, they transform its
rhythm into a drummy late-night cut. Stabs and vocal chops ride the groove,
culminating in a proper lose-yourself-in-the-dance House cut that also comes
with an instrumental version. London’s Hilit Kolet came up through the former
Soho Black Market Records shop, and has since become synonymous with the
city’s House scene via releases on Defected, Snatch!, Domino, and Rekids,
with a #1 debut on Music Week’s Upfront Club Chart and support from BBC Radio
1, Jamie Jones, HAAi, Skream, and more. NYC duo The Illustrious Blacks,
comprising Manchildblack and Monstah Black, blend Afro-Electro, Funk, Disco,
and House across releases on Soul Clap, Classic Music Company, and Defected,
as well as collaborations with artists such as Osunlade, DJ Minx, Seven Davis
Jr., and David Morales |
