Originally
released in 1993, Surfing On Sine Waves is the second album released under
the Warp Artificial Intelligence series and the sole album released under
Richard D. James' Polygon Window alias. The album was followed the same year
with a companion EP titled Quoth. Fast forward 32 years to 2025, Surfing On
Sine Waves (Expanded Edition) sees the pair of companion releases as a single
entity. the series also includes the two titular compilations, as well as
contributions by Autechre, The Black Dog, F.U.S.E. and more. Surfing On Sine
Waves is also the sole album released under Richard D. James’ (aka Aphex
Twin’s) Polygon Window alias. The name “Polygon Window” originally appeared
as a track name under Richard D. James’ other pseudonym The Dice Man, as the
track title for his submission on Artificial Intelligence. Surfing On Sine
Waves was chosen as a title by Rob Mitchell based on a quote by Richard D.
James. The album debuted at #2 on the UK dance charts. The album was followed
the same year with a companion EP titled Quoth. The EP’s title track
originally appeared on the album, accompanied by additional songs who first

venture. Daniloski, a veteran of heavier, sludgier, grittier rock bands such

the culmination of nearly two decades of musical evolution. Her journey began
in the world of drum & bass and jungle, gradually expanding into deep
explorations of house, dub techno, and techno. Over the years, Vera has
performed on leading stages across Ukraine and internationally, while also

Records is proud to announce the first official reissue of Coal Mining, the
1978 debut album by Dutch jazz pianist René van Helsdingen. This album marks
a significant milestone-the beginning of van Helsdingen's decades-spanning
career as an innovative and independent musician. Born in 1957 in Jakarta,
Indonesia, but holding Dutch nationality, René van Helsdingen began classical
piano studies in the Netherlands in the early 1960s. While initially
following in his family's footsteps by enrolling in mining engineering at the
Technical University of Delft, his passion for music ultimately prevailed.
His academic path may have diverged, but it set the stage, both figuratively
and literally, for what would become an extraordinary musical career. Coal Mining
was originally released on Munich Records, a respected Dutch jazz and roots
label founded by music producer and musician Job Zomer. The album features a
blend of jazz influences from giants such as Oscar Peterson, McCoy Tyner, and
Bill Evans, and showcases van Helsdingen's distinctive voice as a composer
and pianist at the very start of his professional journey. The record
includes contributions from a rich ensemble of musicians, including Wim Essed
(bass), Klaus Flenter (guitar), Børge Ring (double bass), Henk Zomer (drums),
Martijn Nesenberend (drums), Dick Pluim (bass), and even a student orchestra
formed during van Helsdingen's time at Delft University. Often mistakenly
referred to as Piano, a result of the album's back cover design prominentlyfeaturing
the word, Coal Mining is both a literal and symbolic title. It alludes not
only to van Helsdingen's brief academic past, but to the depth and labor of
jazz creation itself: layered, gritty, and forged under pressure. A year
after the album's release, van Helsdingen moved to Los Angeles to continue
his jazz studies. While living in Hollywood, he shared a house with future
musical collaborators including Kent Brinkley, Essiet Okon Essiet, Brian
Batie, John Rigby, Edmond Allmond, David Best and John Butler. Even in the
early stages of his career, van Helsdingen displayed the entrepreneurial
spirit that would define his path, self-releasing albums and even pioneering
an early form of crowdfunding by selling 400 ad spaces on a record sleeve to
finance an LP project. After his jazz studies in Los Angeles, he performed
extensively in Europe, Canada, the U.S., Australia and Asia, often traveling
with his own 'Stage bus', which housedboth a stage and instruments. In August
2018, van Helsdingen was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Despite the
physical challenges brought on by the condition, he continues to perform and
compose music. His openness about the diagnosis-shared publicly in a 2019
documentary-has helped raise awareness of Parkinson's and the role of
creativity and improvisation as tools for resilience. Now, nearly five
decades after its initial release, Coal Mining is finally receiving a
well-deserved reissue. Introducing a new generation of listeners to the raw
talent and visionary beginnings of a true European jazz original |

Building
on the success of Paul St. Hilaire’s landmark solo album for Richard
Akingbehin’s label Kynant in 2023, w/ The Producers switches up the formula
to pair St. Hilaire’s with a different producer on each track. Referencing
fellow dub techno pioneers Mark Ernestus & Moritz von Oswald’s acclaimed
album w/ The Artists as Rhythm & Sound, St. Hilaire flips the concept to
feature as the lone vocalist. Over the album’s nine tracks, St. Hilaire
offers a range of conscious song-writing and headtop musings, such as the
spoken-word dread of “What’s This” or the sparse call-to-action of “Send Them
On”. The record weaves through all shades of contemporary dub evolutions,
showing the vocal range and versatility of St. Hilaire. w/ The Producers is
yet another essential record in St. Hilaire’s unmatched discography. The
producers were curated by label owner and DJ Richard Akingbehin to give the
new album a future-facing feel and mark 10 years of Kynant Records.
Akingbehin sourced beats from luminaries such as Digital Mystikz boss and
dubstep trailblazer Mala or elusive Chain Reaction artist Shinichi Atobe.
They sit alongside some of the most exciting names in recent electronic music
- Batu, Gavsborg, Azu Tiwaline, Priori, Cousin, Russell E.L. Butler, Aurora
Halal and DJ G - all of whom bring different elements of dub techno into
their productions. w/ The Producers finds Kynant Records bridging the
original voice of dub techno with the genre’s new wave. It’s a statement of
intent from the label, which began 10 years ago with deep, hypnotic techno

under house, breakbeat, techno and warehouse rave music. The Mental Groove
Classics series returns with a treasure trove of rare and hard-to-find tracks
plucked from the personal collection of label founder Olivier Ducret, a
pivotal figure in Switzerland's acid house and rave-era party scene. On
Volumes Two and Three of the series released last year, Olivier Ducret
(founder of Mental Groove and Musique Pour La Danse, half of WRWTFWW) takes
us back to the turn of the '90s. It was a time when he was promoting parties
in fields, squats, forests, warehouses and former factoriesin and around
Geneva, all while working behind the counter of a record shop called Mental
Groove. While others in Switzerland's emerging dance music scene gravitated
towards trance and garage, Olivier and his crew opted for a sound focused on
bass, breaks, and techno. This unique approach was inspired by their regular
trips to clubs, raves, and record shops in the UK. Drawing directly from his
own record box and a memory bank full of euphoric dancefloor moments, this
fourth installment sees Olivier reaching for more cuts of near-mythical
rarity, genuinely overlooked gems, and undeniably brilliant classics - each
selection has left a long-lasting impression on the local raving landscape.
It's an autobiographical audio document, a historical archive, and a personal
musical statement all rolled into one. The compilation is inspired by a
moment in time when musical boundaries were being redrawn, if not exploded,
in a wave of carefree optimism and thefreedom that fueled new rave scenes

things simply need time to brew. Loek Frey returns to Omen Wapta with his
third release on the label: Nayan. The Amsterdam-based artist shares a
long-standing friendship with label head Woody92 - keeping each other in
motion as artistic peers since the label's inception. Over time, they've
built a shared archive of material: sound sketches, tracks, and sonic
touchpoints - an ever-evolving third space where their paths continue to meet
as they move in parallel. Nayan emerges from this deep-rooted exchange: a
distilled six-track release that fuses Frey's cerebral intricacy with the
label's primordial uncanniness, reaffirming both as key voices in a
yet-to-be-defined sonic realm. Diving into the release, Frey's signature
remains intact - tactile, spatial, and rhythmically precise - but a subtle
shift is at play. A paring down. A move toward something more reduced, maybe
even more patient, yet no less absorbing. The A side leans inward: deep
pressure, spectral traces, and an undercurrent of tension that never quite
resolves. It's music for staying with, not escaping from. Flip to the B side
and the palette widens - kicks land heavier, patterns loosen, textures fill
the full frequency field. Still deeply rooted in the Wapta world, but with an

Dustin Zahn's Enemy Records celebrates its 20th anniversary with a string of
special releases, Marcal returns once again with 5 new signature style
tracks. The EP demonstrates further refinement of Marcal's shamanic tribal
grooves that everybody knows and loves, along with an artistic progression
towards weirder and deeper sonic territory. The vinyl starts off with
"Swindle," a powerful and unstoppable peak time track emphasizing

Glass Museum Records was born out
of a desire to promote music specifically created for soundtracks of both
existing and imaginary films. Without being bound to any genre, the label
will present its first limited edition vinyl release in September 2025. The
release will be "Through metaphors, assonance but mostly by
differences", a journey of seven tracks produced by the band GORO
HANADA, a cinematic collective based between Italy and the Netherlands. Music
fades, but it holds the vault of endless cinematic worlds |

The Knowledge Imprint 'Selected Reissues' series brings together
handpicked tracks from the label's back catalogue to be pressed for the first
time on high quality vinyl. Previously available only as digital and
small-batch dubplate editions, these tracks will also be given new life with
fresh remastering and simple repackaging. This second release of the edition
brings together a collection of standout tracks that have been highly
requested on vinyl since their initial releases between 5 and 7 years ago.
Yant & William Arist's tracks were the foundation of the 10th label
release back in 2020, while label-owner Deano's track 'Tension' was largely
responsible for putting the label on the radar in 2018. VIL's 'Golpe de
Estado' taken from the label's first VA back in 2019 closes the package |

the release of his fifth studio album ‘Magickal’ at the start of the year,
Damian Lazarus now opens a new chapter in the project’s evolution with
‘Magickal Remixed (Part I)’, this first instalment of the two-part series
features bold reimagining’s from Harry Romero, Jonathan Kaspar, THEMBA and
Mëstiza, offering four fresh takes on standout cuts from the acclaimed
long-player. The package opens with Harry Romero’s ‘Raw Dog’ remix of ‘R U
Dreaming?’, originally a deeply introspective cut featuring Canadian maestro
Mathew Jonson. Here, the New York favourite dials up the low-end pressure and
rhythmic weight, bringing raw tribal energy and heavyweight swing to the
original’s dreamlike tones. Jonathan Kaspar’s ‘Sunrise Remix’ of ‘Falling
Down’, Lazarus’ collaboration with TEED and A-Trak, comes next. Channelling
radiant euphoria through rising pads and sweeping melodic phrasing, it leans
into the emotional intensity of the original while transforming it into a
full-blown moment of sunrise transcendence. On the B Side THEMBA delivers
striking remix of Damian Lazarus and Jem Cooke’s ‘Searchin’. THEMBA’s remix
builds on that foundation and takes it into expansive, Afro-infused club
territory, layering hypnotic percussion, deep rolling grooves, and subtle
atmospheric shifts that heighten the emotion and push the track into new
late-night spaces. Closing out the release, Spanish duo Mëstiza return to
reinterpret their collaboration with the Crosstown head honcho, ‘La Hija De
Juan Simón’. Expanding on the track’s flamenco-inspired roots, they layer
hand-played percussion, haunting vocal flourishes, and dense atmospheres into

nocturnal kinda style that has become his hallmark. Streetwise, upfront and
packing a sizeable amount of f*ck-off NRG. Expect noirish, night-stalking
rave suspense and hardware-fuelled, high-velocity torque. Best heard in the
company of shadow-dwelling spectres, or perhaps, at the event horizon of a
black hole. DJ tools reveal greater depth and nuance upon closer inspection,
and disembodied vocals lure inquisitive ears deep into the dream state.

the immense power of electronic music, UK-based duo Pola & Bryson have
solidified themselves as one of the most talented production duos flying the
flag for the genre today. Throughout the mix, you’ll hear liquid textures layered
with depth and warmth, tracks that breathe with shimmering pads, smooth
rolling drums and emotionally resonant melodies. These moments evoke late
night introspection and spacious clarity, tapping into the more human,
melodic side of drum & bass. But the mix doesn’t stay in one mood for
long. It periodically plunges into darker, more technical territory, where
the basslines twist, the rhythms fracture and tighten and the atmosphere
becomes tense and futuristic. Here, the emotional gives way to the
mechanical, driving energy through razor-sharp precision and relentless

Pola & Bryson unveil the brand new original single "Worlds
Apart" an emotional vocal lead anthem featuring the incredible vocals of
Emily Makis. The track balances Emily’s heartfelt lyricism with Pola &
Bryson’s signature crisp liquid drums and deep and intoxicating basslines.
The 2 acts first combined on the track "Complete" alongside Monrroe
and followed it up with the certified hit, "Phoneline", dubbed by
Radio 1 as the D&B Anthem of 2023. With a history of making pure magic

Michael Mayer, aka Mr. Lava Lava asked a bunch of his absolute
favourite artists to have a go at some of the tracks from his recent album
'The Floor Is Lava'. First up is Barcelona's brightest flame, RAXON, who is
melting 'Brainwave 2.0' into a stompin fun-filled primetime banger. Longtime
collaborator DAVE DK is a masterful producer and remixer that appears
regularly on Pampa and Kompakt. His take on 'The Solution' feels like a road
trip to paradise and back. Montreal's PRIORI is one of the hottest names in
showbiz right now. His ability to bridge genres and create pristine sound
designs is fully on display in his remix for 'The Solution'. Last but not
least, the legend that is SEBASTIAN MULLAERT took a moment off from his
revered Circle Of Life jams to transform the albums deepest cut 'Ardor' into

Returning
to Curvature for his eagerly awaited second EP, Senses brings an impressively
varied array of atmospheric jungle to the table, drawing from a multitude of
influences across the musical spectrum with Convex Reflex. A1 - Ratio: A
break-laden intro lays the groundwork for a considered foray into the
old-school - Senses flecking the mix liberally with synths and female vocal
hits of yesteryear, before the welcome crunch of thunderous amens takes over.
A cascade of rip-roaring edits floods the track taking you on an epic ride
through the ages, breaks chopped with riotous energy confirming this track as
a perfect DJ tool for the dancefloor. A2 - Sun Runner: Beautifully crisp
drums open a DJ-friendly intro to Sun Runner, delightfully clear sounding with
distinctive cymbals, a thick snare and subtle bongos. An airy soundscape soon
washes into the mix with calming synths and flutes, creating a delicately
jazzy blend of styles with soothing melodies contrasting perfectly with the
breaks. More pronounced synthwork follows to spice things up as the bassline
rumbles along below. B1 - Spirit Vector: Dense atmospherics are the order of
the day as Senses deploys Spirit Vector, opening with an array of synths and
strings to create an intro reminiscent of Intense's work in the late 90's.
Soon we are treated to a paradoxical assortment of heavy amens that work
impeccably in the mix - thundering forth with pads soaring high and a heavy
sub bass below. Various instrument samples litter the breakdown before a vocal
sample declares "Yes". Yes indeed. B2 - Still: Closing the EP in
style, Still opens with sparse breaks, lightly building with extremely subtle
apache breaks in the backdrop with sporadic keys and smooth pads. The drop
arrives with warm, room-filling basslines and synths to elevate the
atmosphere alongside luscious flute samples.Layers are added to the excellent
breaks as Senses sprinkles instrument samples, keys and a classic female

the launch of Laster Records, inaugurating the label with a fierce various
artists EP forged for peak-time madness and emotional depth. The debut
release, Laster Records VA001, brings together four essential voices in
modern techno: Alarico, Yanamaste, Chontane and Roll Dann, each contributing
a distinctive cut to a shared narrative of intensity and evolution. The
A-side opens with Alarico's "Of Which Sugars", a gritty, percussive
storm of fast-paced techno, where tension builds through syncopated rhythms
and distorted grooves. Following is Yanamaste's "Disconnection", a
cerebral track infused with cold atmospheres, broken patterns and a sense of
controlled chaos - reflecting the Georgian artist's unmistakable mental
approach. On the flip, Chontane delivers "Palindrome", a futuristic
and dynamic tool with flickering synth stabs and machine funk energy. The EP
closes with Roll Dann's "The Red House", a cinematic and

wistful pads wash over delicate hi hats as Aural Imbalance smoothly
introduces Cascade, an immensely tight, break-driven track with a beat
pattern to die for. The breaks are crisp and intense in the mix with swathes
of inimitable ambience flowing as the 808 dutifully rumbles below. This track
is a classic, impeccable fusion of atmospherics and breakbeats that make you
move, and will fit any discerning DJ setlist. AA2 - Different World: An
inspired, melodic underwater kaleidoscopic introduction welcomes a fitting
closing track to the EP, Different World. Conjuring images of playful marine
life dancing in the filtered light, a serene landscape of sound rides
analogue old-school breaks laden with dense kickdrums and excitable hats. The
