a famous comedian, Melcochita devoted himself to music for many years and
worked as in-house studio musician for the label Discos MAG, taking part in
countless sessions. This album was recorded between 1967 and 1968, accompanied
by the orchestras of Betico Salas, Joe di Roma, Nilo Espinoza, Carlos Muñoz
and Tito Chicoma. The album comprises amazing guarachas, mainly international

Originally
recorded in the Dutch towns of Ureterp and Groningen between 2003 and 2005,
'Through Friendly Waters' marks a pivotal moment in Reimer Eising's --better
known as Kettel-- journey through melodic braindance and ambient electronica.
With his classical training on piano and a refined sensibility for gentle
electronic textures, Kettel weaves together shimmering piano motifs, warm
ambient textures, playful breakbeats, and pastoral atmospheres that shimmer
with emotional resonance. First released in 2005 via his own label Sending
Orbs, the album soon achieved cult status among IDM fans, celebrated for
balancing playful compositional elegance with heartfelt sonic depth. TFW
still remains as a timeless soundtrack that perfectly encapsulates why Kettel
remains a key figure of electronic music enthusiasts two decades on. To
honour its twentieth anniversary, Lapsus Records presents 'Through Friendly
Waters (20th Anniversary Edition)', marking the album's debut on vinyl within
the Perennial Series. This edition has been remastered by Alex Ferrer and
redesigned by Basora, resulting in a deluxe version that also includes the
tracks "Unistar" and "Toen", which were originally
released only on CD by the Timothy Really label back in 2007 |

Reissue
of the debut RIPCORD flexi The Damage Is Done, that was originally released
on their own Raging Records in 1986 for just 50p. This was there right at the
start of mid 80's UK hardcore along with HERESY, CHAOS UK and EXTREME NOISE
TERROR. Spread over nine tracks, RIPCORD absolute rage with a mix of US
hardcore and dirty UK82 style punk. The cardboard box drum sound gives the
recording a timeless feel, as the band rip, pull and thrash. It's raw, loose
and unhinged UK hardcore at its finest. On the Side 1 you get the entire
Flexi plus an unreleased version of Blind Eye which was recorded for a
compilation that never happened and Single Ticket To Hell from the Manic Ears
and Children of the Revolution Records DIGGING IN THE WATER compilation from
1987. Side 2 features a mixing desk live set recorded at the Captains Cabin,
Weston Super Mare, 3rd May 1986. Originally released as part of their VHS on
MCR-UK. All tracks mastered by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air. The record

Passion Killers were from
Barnsley, South Yorkshire and featured Dave Lentil, Daz White and Boffo. All
three members were later, heavily involved in Chumbawamba but at the time of
this demo Boff was already only on loan from Chumbawamba. This 1983 Demo was
recorded in one day at Lion Studios, Leeds and features 11 melodic, simple,
anarchist pop songs. The Band had already shared a split tape with
Chumbawamba on Sky and Trees but this demo is the jewel in the crown of the
Passion Killers recorded work. It features 'Start Again' which was released
by Crass on 'Bullshit Detector 2'. The LP comes with a 16 page
11"x11" booklet featuring photos, lyrics, handouts, clippings and
other stuff |

= doG is the collective around Belpop icon Rudolf Hecke and consists of
Nikkie van Lierop (Erotic Dissidents, Praga Khan), Toon Derison (Steven De
Bruyn, El Fish), Klaas Tomme (Iskander Moon, Illuminae), and Yassin Joris
(Jokke, Naima Joris). Rudolf Hecke's LP “God is doG spelled backwards” was
voted the best Belgian album of 1989 by De Morgen. Humo crowned him “The Nick
Cave of Flanders”. 36 years and many musical adventures later, he is back
with a strong, dark, and atmospheric album comparable to the works of, for
example, This Mortal Coil: different styles of songs sung by different band
members. The album is produced by Hecke, David Poltrock, and Ian Caple.
Additional lead vocals are by Elsje Helewaut. Rudolf has also proven to be a
gifted author and speaker. On 26 October 2024, he published his ninth book,
How Rough is the Stone?, in which he immerses himself in Freemasonry. The
journey to that book was accompanied by the recording of new God=doG songs.
Mutual influence, symbolism, questioning, insights, and reflection emerged.

repressing of a long lost Killjoys mini album which originally came out on DG
back in 1991 This time it's on red, white and blue vinyl! Before Kevin
Rowland discovered the joys of making menswear and even before he launched
Dexys Midnight Runners he was the lead singer in this great punk band from
the Midlands. Originally called Lucy & The Lovers and more jazz
orientated, Kevin caught the first of a series of wind of changes and hitched
a ride on punk with his girlfriend Heather on backing vocals and the gorgeous
Gem on bass whom he exploited to the full even encouraging her wearing of
sexually alluring clothing!!!! One single Johnny Won't Get To Heaven / Naive
Records 1977). Raw Classic amphetamine punk. Another great track t Night' on
the Raw Deal compilation album. One other known song - Recognition - floating
around on an album aive' on Damaged Goods released in 1991. They were
supposed to be making tapes for an album but they split before anything
happened and a supposed deal with Bronze was scuppered by Mr Rowland. Around
mid 77 they lost Heather and Joe 90 (on Kevin's insistence probably) and
acquired a new drummer, Bob Peach, and guitarist Keith Rimell and became
virtually a different band as Mr Rowland again sought to jump ship. If you
get a chance check out the two John Peel radio sessions they did to hear the
difference. Great footage of them performing ohnny' and t Night' on the Punk
In London video. Forget Gaye Advert, Gem was a star on bass! Bless them all.
Gem / Gil was in fact short for Ghislaine! She formed Alternating before
going on to join Girlschool replacing Enid on bass after being recommended to
the band by Lemmy! Sadly rumour has it that Heather died. And lastly from his
majesty Mr Rowland himself these words from Mojo October 2001. "There
was no doubt in my mind that I was at least as passionate and angry and as
from the street as any punk rock singer you could name. But it was wrong for
me to try to be part of someone else's thing." |

Aphex
Twins Xylem Tube EP arrived in the summer of 1992 on R&S Records, coming
hot off the heels of his landmark Digeridoo release, and an audacious follow
up from the then 21-year-old Richard D. James. Out of print for nearly two
decades, this long-awaited vinyl reissue restores one of the pivotal early
works in his catalogue. Where Digeridoo pushed the endurance of the rave
floor to its limits, the Xylem Tube EP stretched the Aphex Twin sound into
new dimensions with Polynomial-C becoming an enduring classic with its
spiralling arpeggios, shattering breakbeats and alien melodics. Tracks like
Phlange Phace and Tamphex (Hedphuq Mix) pushed distortion, humour and rhythm
into uncharted territory, while Dodeccaheedron acts as a bold signifier of
James radical ideas of how dance music can sound, with its ominous and
brooding synth work over a cacophony of eerie, broken beats. Three decades

high-quality techno. The A1 kicks off with “Fadeface” by NY based producer
Otavio aka Fadeface, a rolling, driving cut that balances weight with groove.

Fresh techno from the Lowlands by
two veterans of the Utrecht scene. Quince made his debut 20 years ago on the
renowned Delsin label, while Sayne is the latest alias of DJ, producer and
label owner Nuno Dos Santos. All three tracks are built around a single
initial idea. Both producers expanded the idea independently, before coming
together to forge the final result. The title track Orange has a nice Detroit
vibe with its shuffle rhythms and bouncing rimshots, while Klonneplein 1 (an
Amsterdam square all too familiar to visitors of a populair techno party)
navigates the wobbly bridge between Sterac and Andy Stott. The closing track
Work is one for sweaty basements, where bass lines tug viciously at your
trouser legs. Raw, distorted jakbeat in a frayed techno jacket. If you like
to lose yourself, this sixth EP on the Nowhere label is a good place to start |
