Long
time Soma associate Simon Stokes makes a more than welcome return to the fold
under his Petrichor moniker, delivering the brand new, immersive album
"Narisshu". As a hardware enthusiast with his own music school in
Glasgow, Simon's approach to music making is highly refined and over the
years he has crafted a unique and soulful sound that straddles the worlds of
House, Techno, Ambient and beyond. His new album is a perfect follow up to
his debut LP, "Mangata", displaying greater depth and maturity in
the production which explores deeper paths in his musical taste and continues
this burgeoning producer's natural progress. Narisshu's epic journey begins
with the sub aquatic "San" and the short but sweet "There".
Both are doused in electrostatic atmosphere and glistening pads, setting the
tone for what is to unfold. "Valdo" hints at more cerebral times
with it's jazz inspired, dubbed out Rhodes chords and gentle percussive
elements. Beautifully crafted and subtle sequences create the back bone to
"After Velvet" which still remains in the electroacoustic
environment with its sweeping drones and constantly modulating FX; bound
together by sluggish yet enveloping beats. The pace of the album quicken some
what at "6EQUJ5" storms in with a fairly definitive kick drum and
polyrhythmic structures paving the way for the album's first foray into dance
floor territory. Title track "Narisshu" marks the mid way point of
the album and has Petrichor delving deeper once again whilst still keeping
things on a 4x4 tip; his use of melodic progression display more than just
emotion. "MXT10" provides another glorious interlude of deep and
engrossing ambient work before "Blota" once again picks up the pace
as arpeggiated synths dance around a backdrop of dense soundscapes. A change
of direction toward the final few tracks has other worldly designs explored
in the breakbeats of "Field Dub" and in the IDM leanings of
"Riot Faux Pas". The slow burning, acid tinged "Sapiens"
offers one last bastion of beat driven work before Last delivers a sedative
ending to an album graced with all the pleasure electronic music affords.

This elusive and lesser-known
collector's gem by Oscar Agudello y el Combo Moderno called "Pa' mi
muñeca" is an album devoted to recreating the strength of a musical
genre that's been the soundtrack of Colombian life for decades and represents
a milestone on the route cumbia had taken by 1966, when it was originally
released on Discos Fuentes. It's exactly the kind of music that lights up a
tambó or a fandango circle on carnival night. First time reissue. Includes
liner notes by genre expert Don Alirio. 180g vinyl |

Sexverbot is a Berlin punk band.
Fast guitar, clear lyrics, and an unmistakable character. Whether it's fever
dreams of capitalism ("I'm in love"), social coldness and concrete
sadness ("Daily greetings from the monarchy"), self-destruction as
the only way out ("The Antagonist"), or a middle finger to esoteric
disciples ("Mystic Shit") Sexverbot presents short, concise,
uncompromising songs. Similar to pioneers from past decades, the album
reflects the hopelessness and anger of a generation. The self-titled debut
was produced by Lorenz Szukal (Die Verlierer) |

Just A Man reveals an early
version of Lover's Rock Master, Beres Hammond: an R&B / Disco crooner -
and quite a convincing one. This 1979 album, presents a who's who of reggae
heavyweights and contains the highly sought after UK Soul hit 'Do This World
A Favour', plus 7 other full length and funky tracks that treat listeners to
a different side of Beres' roots. This newly re-mastered, colored vinyl
edition will feature the super-rare 'Rolls Royce cover art', originally
released on the Joe Gibbs label. The album produced by Joe Gibbs, arranged by
Willie Lindo, and engineered by Errol Thompson. Featured musicians include:
Val Douglas, Mikey Chung, Dean Fraser, Clive Hunt, Harold Butler, Robbie Lyn,
and Pam Hall on vocals |

Scintillating 6 minute thrillride
delivering booming flying acid guitars, illegibly distorted bass, unrelenting
drums, and brutal borderline death metal vocals. Some of the minds who
brought you Arms Race and The Flex bring you this music coming from the same
filth at the earths core which defined the UK's great contribution to
exceptional ear damage across four decades _ touching on Scandinavian speed a
la Totalitär and Mob 47, the aching chaos of Disorder, the psychedelic noise

relevant political lyrics top this masterstroke of "no metal no melody

THE FIVE CANNONS are blas3ng
their way onto the scene from Madrid, bringing a raw rock and roll blast that
drives your hips crazy. Leading the charge is the explosive Don OKo, the
charisma3c Italian DJ whose powerhouse vocals once fronted the legendary TRIBAL
BOPS in Milan. Flanking him are four baKle-hardened mockers _ David Lorenzo
on bass, Javi Hunka- Hunka on sax, Mario Rebel Ribet on drums, and Esteban
Beatboy on guitar_ each sharpened by years in legendary bands like THE
IMPERIAL SURFERS, LOS IMPOSSIBLES or DAYTONAS_ just to name a few of them.
Now, aVer months in the trenches, THE FIVE CANNONS are ready to unleash their
first fulllength LP "Ready, Aim, Fire!!"_ a straight-up masterpiece
produced by rock and roll maestro Mario Cobo |

Not the British pub rockers! This
Doctor Feelgood is a completely different band - American, obscure, and far
more experimental. Their 1971 album Something to Take Up Time is a wild mix
of prog rock, free jazz, blues, and psychedelia, packed with flute and sax
solos in the spirit of early Jethro Tull, Gravy Train, and Aynsley Dunbar.
Formed by ex-members of Teddy and the Pandas and The Sensations, the band
only lasted a few years, but left behind this cult gem - full of complex
arrangements and standout performances, especially from sax/flute wizard Dick
Winters, who often played two horns at once. Underrated, unique, and highly
recommended |

There is no doubt that
"Teenage Perversity & Ships in the Night," although a bootleg,
is Patti Smith's best live album. Patti Smith released some good albums, but
any serious fan of hers will tell you that she performed most of her material
better live. There are a number of fine Patti Smith bootlegs, but this one --
taken from a January 1976 show at the Roxy in Los Angeles, with near-perfect
fidelity -- is both her best and her best-known. Besides incendiary versions
of several songs from her first few LPs, it features covers of "Louie
Louie," "My Generation" (with John Cale guesting), and The
Velvet Underground's "We're Gonna Have a Good Time Together" and
"Pale Blue Eyes," as well as entertaining between-song raps and
even a brief cameo by Iggy Pop. It's no exaggeration to claim that this may
be her best album, and one of the best '70s punk/new wave albums of all |

First ever reissue of Lockjaw-s
debut single. Originally released in late 1977. Lockjaw began life in Crawley
Sussex, first as The Guernsey Flowers and then The Amazing Doctor Octopuss.
This is the first of two singles they recorded for Cambridge/based Raw

claim to fame is that Simon Gallup was later in the band before going on to
join The Cure, and it was his older brother Dave who wrote -Radio Call Sign-.

NOFX is still pissed off and they
want to tell you all about it with Baz's Orchestra! The band's 1999 opus The
Decline was played live in it's entirety with a full orchestra at the Rocks
Punk In Drublic festival. "This was one of my all-time favorite moments
playing with NOFX," exclaims Fat Mike. "I hope you all enjoy this
half as much as I did playing it. I'm very proud of what we pulled off."

Their latest opus blends guitars
and bagpipes with Paul McKenzie spinning yarns of times long past and
recounts endless drunken revelries. The songs are rebellious, poignant and
achingly heartfelt with an extra helpings of Scottish charm and wit to boot.
The unbridled energy and merriment of Beer & Loathing will immediately
have the listener hoisting a pint glass and singing along to the infectious
12 tracks. Whether you're a McKenzie lifer or new to the game, these anthemic
songs are sure to get your blood up and your heart pumping |

dungeon
acid review 25-09-03 by Joakim Cosmo A acid house style EP by swedish acid
techno pioneer on swedens oldest underground label? Making a acid house EP in
2025 that makes a difference is a challenging task but this one just nails
it. Here you see a softer and more musical side of Dungeon Acid in the shape
of 5 dark yet hopeful Acid House tracks. Despite the classic form and
ingredients it somehow avoids feeling retro but I guess this is what happens
when you let a true grand master do it combined with a selector and label
boss beyond the ordinary. It's like a paralell universe version of what Acid
House could have become, and its a beautiful vision. A1-101-303 starts off
with a dreamy, moody dubby and slightly romantic track that is just utterly beautiful
in all its simplicity. The elegance and easy touch strikes me instantly.
Nails the essence of the genre. One more like this and im buying it. The way
A2-Unlock rewind builds up gives me goosebumps. So hypnotic and dark and
experimental and the way it progresses to the ravey chord-break. The sounds
and effects and details feel so alive and on the fly. In the record store
this is where id already go "ok, im having this one" B1-Lonely Acid
boy is yet another simple yet super atmospheric track. The contrasts between
the rough robotic parts and the jazzy live solos ontop just gets to me. The
roughness in the mix, that second beat with the hi-hats and extra bass, the
fact that its so loud and sudden, is just great. And then we get to B2-Shnukki
and all of a sudden, a romantic melodious electro track with a asian touch
and acid bassline, that somehow goes well together with the other tracks.
This one isnt my favourite or what I would buy the record for, but it would
probably be the one I discover years later. Typical Borft Records to think
that far ahead. The EP ends with B3-Chiliflex BB come on and this one starts
with more late 80's ravey chords but the further you get into the track the
more disharmonic, tweaky and punky it becomes. Things dont really fit
together yet they do. To sum it up, these tracks are raw, funky, gutsy,
streety, visionary, full of contrast and a bit challenging, just like acid
house should be, but often isnt. I think Dungeon Acid and Borft Records nails
it here. I'd buy doubles of this |

release is a break neck ride of techno and house alchemy, capturing the
spirit of Berlin via LA. Perfectly encapsulating the sound of the imprint,
the release marks an exciting new chapter in the Potency story, with a slew

Amsterdam-based Isaiah makes a
striking debut on Life In Patterns with his EP "Passive
Aggression." Across five stripped-back, impactful cuts, the Dutch artist
delivers music designed to move dancefloors and challenge adventurous DJs.
True to his signature style, Isaiah blends old-school grit with sharp,
percussive textures, crafting an atmosphere that feels both raw and
forward-thinking while staying focused on the essentials. "Passive
Aggression" will be released on vinyl and digital formats on 21 November
2025. The vinyl edition comes with ten locked grooves |

Moving
Pressure marks its fifth release, and the first one to stretch across a
double vinyl with full sleeve artwork. It isn't framed as an album, yet its
sequencing carries a narrative weight that lingers between immediacy and
introspection. MP05 welcomes on board Australian producer Connor Wall, whose
work fuses tightly wound rhythm and immersive atmosphere, balancing precision
with a sense of openness. His sound is rooted in the physical pull of the
dancefloor, yet drawn toward zones of suspension and elusion. And Moving
Pressure 05 captures that duality very clearly. Momentum sets the tone from
the outset - taut drum programming, metallic accents, and structures that
build energy in decisive bursts. There's a sense of propulsion that feels
engineered for peak hours, exuding a tightening grip on the floor. Gradually,
tension loosens up, stretching patterns into spirals, layering vaporous pads
and resonant low-end that opens a more interior space. Together, the two arcs
trace Wall's range with clarity: body and mind, force and dissolve. Rather
than presenting opposites, they reveal different angles of the same language.
An exploration of density, atmosphere, and the subtle thresholds between the
two |

Denise
Rabe presents her first full-length album, a personal work that reflects her
artistic maturity and the evolution of her creative path. The record is a
conceptual project of 11 tracks, moving away from the dance-floor and
focusing on detailed sound design, rhythmic experimentation, and sequencing
that breaks with the standards of contemporary techno. A brilliant work that
places Denise among the most talented producers in today's electronic music
scene. Scenes from the vastness of the void are captured by the machinery
created to measure our position in the universe, during their solitary effort
to traverse the context we inhabit. Emerging within the difference between
soundscapes and soundtracks, the abstract and the found sound encountered
within a place as its means for self description. Environmental noise of
alien landscapes, organically organizing into patterns and melody, before
dissolving into mist and reintegrating into the atmosphere. A rare
archeological object equal parts geological formation and architecture, where
noise, texture and rhythm are both pure expression and forensic evidence |

The White Chief project has been
defined by her creator as the background character for self_sabotage

Electronics taking, musically and conceptually some development model acts
like Throbbing Gristle or Whitehouse, and certain complex lyrical
compositions like could be some Fad Gadget tracks, Maria Barros, a colombian
dj and producer known as Gatasanta delivers 5 dense, raw, noisey and dark
cuts with the aesthetical connotation of the violent modern times, created
among other analogical sounds with multiple Moog bass lines. This record
includes also, two tracks from AMAS, Gatasanta's first live project with
artist performer Ivana Ray Singh, both artists based in Barcelona. These two
tracks appears on the EP as a tribute to the duo's early years of electronic
production and performance tours around. All tracks has been produced 100%

Hyperstellar
returns on Bordello A Parigi with a nocturnal and deeply magnetic EP. In For
a Flash captures the fleeting beauty of a moment stolen from the night, the
tension of a glance that will never return, the sensation of having loved
inside a dream. The record carves out a singular aesthetic through new wave,
shady atmospheres, and early electronic influences. The eponymous track, In
For a Flash, opens the record like a sudden vision: a burst of light in the
dark, propulsive, yet already fading. From its fatalist urgency to the
longing of The Dance We Never Had, each piece suggests a different facet of
the same mirage. Surrender unfolds like a slow implosion, a toxic war between
release and control, while L’Amour sur Saturne drifts endlessly in a
suspended space, like a tale where the impossible is still imagined.
Influenced as much by Burial as by New Order, the solitude of classical
composers or eccentric glam rock acts, Hyperstellar continues to build his
artistry on numbers, and intimate constellations |

A
new release from Fox & His Friends Records, Chapters (Screen & Stage
Dancefloor Jazz from Yugoslavia 1971-1984) by Ozren Depolo brings to light a
trove of previously unreleased music spanning more than a decade of his work
in film, theater and television. This gatefold audiophile 180g LP, including
a 12-page booklet with archival photos and detailed liner notes, offers for
the first time a full album composed exclusively of Depolo's own authorship,
drawn from master tapes held in private and institutional archives. Mastering
and cutting was done by Frank Merritt from The Carvery Ozren Depolo rarely
pursued opportunities to record original material, in part due to a general
lack of interest among local publishers in jazz discography. Yet he was more
than a gifted composer: he was also an accomplished saxophonist,
clarinettist, flutist, pianist, arranger and occasionally, a jazz journalist
who contributed articles to specialized programs on Radio Zagreb. Depolo also
played in international big bands alongside jazz greats such as Clark Terry,
Oliver Nelson and Gerry Mulligan, as well as in formations led by Bosko
Petrovic, including the Nonconvertible All Stars and the B.P. Convention Big
Band. He was a member of ensembles including The Alfi Kabiljo Orchestra, The
Dragutin Diklic Ensemble, Jugoslovenska Pop Selekcija, The Stipica Kalogjera
Octet, Vaclav Zahradnik & His East All Stars Band and the Zagreb Jazz
Quintet. As both composer and arranger, he produced a significant body of
work for large jazz orchestras and small ensembles. He was deeply engaged in
jazz improvisation and avant-garde classical music, recording numerous
chamber pieces for saxophone. A long-standing member of Acezantez, Zagreb's
renowned contemporary music ensemble, he also collaborated with international
figures such as Ted Curson, John Lewis, Johnny Griffin, Art Farmer, Leo
Wright, Art Taylor, Slide Hampton and Lucky Thompson. This selection also
includes his collaboration with Igor Savin and jazz vocalist Zdenka Kovacicek
who were played on Karl Lagerfeld's fashion shows. The release demonstrates
how Depolo was able to shift fluidly between idioms: from driving big-band
passages to intimate chamber-like arrangements, from funk-tinged motifs to
lyrical, impressionistic soundscapes. This stylistic breadth, always anchored
in his deep jazz and funk sensibility, gave his music an adaptability
perfectly suited to the hybrid world of stage and screen. The LP highlights
that versatility while also presenting the coherence of his artistic voice,
one that had gone unrecognized precisely because it was dispersed across so
many contexts |

For
SEVEN's first anniversary, we've brought together a roster of talented
artists, each with a distinct style, to reimagine CRYME's hit "London
Boy" originally released on The Backroom EP in 2024. This 5-track remix
EP features a remastered version of the original alongside fresh
interpretations by none other than Ghettotech heavyweight MCR-T, Prog House
queen Roza Terenzi, modular wizard JakoJako, and Amsterdam's legendary Stef
de Haan as a digital bonus. The vinyl will be limited to 500 copies. With
full marketing and PR support around the anniversary SEVEN7000LTD is set to
be SEVEN's biggest release of the year. A1 - CRYME - London Boy (MCR-T Remix)
CRYME's 808-driven electro, ghetto house hybrid "London Boy" gets
the MCR-T treatment, spiced up with a dose of Garage. The Berlin-based artist
reshaped the bassline into a gritty reese bass and put in the iconic UK
hardcore vocal "your name is not down, you not coming in,"
perfectly amplifying the track's original UK flair. A2 - CRYME - London Boy
(Roza Terenzi Remix) Roza Terenzi joins the "London Boy" Remix EP
with a sleek, modern tech house cut. Flipping the distinct 808 cowbells into
heavily processed percussive elements that bounce through the mix while carrying
a melodic line. Her remix is packed with her quirky yet precise sound design
and kinetic frequencies. The original vocal phrases are creatively chopped up
into fragments and reassembled so they become part of the rhythmic backbone.
B1 - CRYME - London Boy (JakoJako Remix) JakoJako shows off her genre
diversity with a steezy Tech House flip of "London Boy." The
talented Berlin-based live act lays down a solid drum foundation and a
bouncing bassline - no frills, just a steady groove built for the dancefloor.
The composition stays laidback, leaving space for a raw synth melody and her
reworked, chopped-up vocal layers that add just the right touch of playful
silliness to the track. B2 - CRYME - London Boy (Original Mix) On the B-side
you will find CRYME's remastered original "London Boy", first
released in 2024 and featuring ANTICALM, a British rapper, vocalist, and
songwriter whose "You Don't Want This" vocal sample takes center
stage. Merging 808-driven Electro and Grime with a touch of Ghetto House, the
track reimagines a genre-bending battery of block-party energy in the club
setting. With its driving rhythm and unmistakable vocal hook, it remains a
powerful tool for DJs and a highlight on any dancefloor. Digi BONUS - CRYME -
London Boy (Stef de Haan Remix) This lekker reinterpretation of "London
Boy" comes from longtime SEVEN affiliate Stef de Haan. The Dutch
producer delivers a lush, moody and deeply emotional remix, driven by sharp
congas and topped off with cute piano tinkling and reversed notes sweeping
through the mix. The arrangement unfolds like a story, gradually rising from
a filtered, dull atmosphere into a brighter, more energetic finale. Closing
with the isolated "London Boy" vocals, the track leaves DJs the
perfect moment to loop and transition seamlessly into the next cut |

Marking four decades since its

became underground anthems of the 1980s. This edition adds further depth to
the album's legacy with a bonus single featuring two previously unreleased
tracks, plus a booklet that sheds new light on the project's unique history.

Hekura are a Barcelona-based duo
that create expansive soundscapes anchored in ritual minimalism. With
influences ranging from the ethereal mysticism of Alice Coltrane to the
hypnotic pulse of Steve Reich, their music explores the boundary between
introspection and bold sonic exploration. Inspired by ethnographic traditions
and the raw energy of Julius Eastman, their compositions fuse scattered
percussion, shimmering textures, and hypnotic saxophone rhythms for moments
of solitude and profound reflection. Hekura's work invites listeners to
immerse themselves into a spectral world where tradition meets the
avant-garde, offering a unique and evocative listening experience |

Man
O To from the elusive producer NU has clocked up over two and a half million
plays on youtube since its inclusion on Acid Pauli’s Get Lost Compilation in
2012. Now finally set to be released as a single on Crosstown Rebels, with
Remix treatment coming from Parisian producer Pépé Bradock and Be Svendsen. A
nomad of modern times, NU has travelled the continents with his diverse music
to unearth his imitable style. Represented heavily in Man O To, where
instruments amalgamate with electronic production to become solid rhythms. An
extra spark come from its lyrics, outtakes from an old Persian poem from the
well known poet Rumi, who speaks of true happiness in love here performed by
Ghazal Shakeri from an original recording made by renowned French composer
Armand Amar. Julien Auger aka Pépé Bradock is a widely respected producer
best known for his anthemic releases on French label Kif Recordings which are
still sampled heavily to this day. As a DJ, he has spun in almost every major
club in the world and is known for his versatile, and mesmerising style.
Bradock conjures a trippy remix of Man O To and fitting ode to the original.
Be Svendsen aka Lasse Bruhn Svendsen broke through into the international
scene in 2014 with a series of productions and enchanting live performances
at some of the most avant garde places to play on the earth, such as BOOM
festival, Fusion, Burning Man, Symbiosis, Rainbow Serpent and AfrikaBurn.
“‘Man O To’ is a track that has touched the hearts of many, including my
own,’ Svendsen explained. ‘Being asked to add a new chapter to its story is
both an honor and my greatest challenge to date.” |

Munich-based
duo Glaskin, brothers Jonathan and Ferdinand Bockelmann, have become pivotal
voices in modern techno, known for their residency at the legendary Blitz
Club and standout releases on labels like Mutual Rytm and Figure. Their live
sets channel dynamic, forward-thinking energy, and now they bring that
momentum to FJAAK's ever-expanding CROWD family. With the Blue Light EP,
Glaskin deliver four impeccably groovy tracks that balance stripped-down
flair and shimmering texture. "Blue Light" opens the EP with mellow
synth tones, a lean, hypnotic beat and a vocal loop murmuring 'here we go'
that signals the underground journey ahead. Next up is "Captcha",
releasing as the single, where a spoken female voice is layered atop rhythmic
percussion, marrying atmosphere with groove-driven momentum. On the B-side,
"Tape", digs deep into rolling uncompromising techno territory,
strict in structure yet irresistibly danceable. The EP rounds out with
"Prophat Tool Board", stepping slightly into house-leaning warmth,
its broader rhythm and melodic warmth offering a fitting counterpoint to the
brooding energy before it. The Blue Light EP is Glaskin's debut on CROWD and
a shrewd expansion of the label's sound palette: richly textured techno made
for both peak-time impact and immersive listening. To celebrate the release
on the label, Glaskin will join label-founders FJAAK for a CROWD night at
Nitsa Club in Barcelona on October 10, an event primed to showcase the raw
energy and precision behind their studio work. Don't miss this one! |

Worthy
italo re-issue (in a newly mastered version) of this early Roberto Ferrante's
project. Roberto started his career being part of various electronic music
groups in Naples around the early 80s! His career took off when he made his
first deal with Best Record by Claudio Casalini for ''Come On Closer'' by
Pineapples which obtained worldwide success and was played at the legendary
Chicago Radio Station WBMX by the mythological DJ's collective, Hot Mix 5. In
1985 it was time for another classic named "Faces", a simple but
direct and honest song with an irresistible rhythm and lyrics that tends to
move away from that typical dark sound in other Italo-Disco songs of that
era. This song is a triumph for synthesizers and electronic drums as it's
fully electronic, something still a rarity in those days! The beautiful
melody and spiritual essence of ''Faces'' represent the revolution of a new
beginning of the Italian pop of the 80s with a perfect arrangement by Roberto
Ferrante, a bouncing bassline, and strong and clear vocal. The sweet and
sensual voice, full of personality and charm is by Clio (Maria Chiara
Perugini). The graphics are by Patrizio Squeglia and all together it made
this groundbreaking release which is one of the best Italo-Disco songs ever
made |

What
began as a nostalgic nod to Camden Market’s bootleg culture has become the
next chapter of in the Running Back Mastermix series. At once deeply personal
and openly communal, it shows how a lifetime of production can be condensed
into 90 minutes without losing its edge — proof that the mixtape, even in
2025, still has stories left to tell. What followed was a patient excavation.
Old DATs were pulled out of storage, forgotten files surfaced from hard
drives, and new material was written to sit alongside them. Together, these
fragments revealed a body of work stretching back more than 25 years — tracks
that moved across the spectrum of house and techno but shared a common thread
of character and atmosphere. In May of this year, the archive finally found
its form. Recorded live on three decks using Serato, the resulting mix brings
together 24 tracks: unreleased material from the past and brand new
productions, all stitched together into a continuous narrative. It’s equal
parts retrospective and statement of intent — less a museum piece than a
living document Here the vinyl edition features a curated selection of 11
tracks from the mix |

Heavyweight Vinyl. Gatefold Sleeve. Black Poly-lined Inner. Second time
around for Kieran Hebden's 2010 album There Is Love In You, a much-loved set
that helped accelerate the long-serving producer's evolution from post-rock
and experimental electronica eccentric to festival headlining dancefloor
hero. The set, which has not been available on vinyl in 15 years, is in some
ways reflective of the musical mood of the time, doffing a cap to the more
experimental and melodious end of post-dubstep UK bass culture and the
growing influence (on him at least) of deep house and techno. Yet at the same
time it still explores some of his earlier themes - think organic melodic
motifs more often associated with American minimalists (Philip Glass, Steve
Reich, Terry Riley etc), folksy snatches of ear-pleasing instrumentation, the
electronics of IDM and a layered, sample-rich eccentricity not dissimilar to
the hallmarks of, say, Matthew Herbert productions |

As
a label, we are specialists in musical diversity. With our newest installment
of the annual System 108 compilation we present you two parts of hand picked
creative output by our friends, residents and dearest guests. Curated by the
artist Ira Bespalova, the concept of both parts is simple and deep: the good,
the calm, the kind is part 1 and all anti-heroes, filthy electro-armored jams
is part 2. All together - another twist of the planet, another beat of our
big heart, that became shelter and home home for a whole new tribe. It pumps,
it creates, unites and warms up, kicks it real hard, no matter how tough it
is. Part 1 is densely populated by our new kids on the block! Isktrit,
TURBOSH, BORIS REDWALL, DJ Yesyes, Dominique Mara have been releasing singles,
EP's and album during 2023 and became an integral part of the collective.
Here you will also find good old friends Maksimovna, Lipelis, Kito Jempere.
Very special Siberian inspired trippy workout by RLGN and Sasha Kustov,
Luchshiy Drug. And a super special guest appearance starring Magnus Opus and
mo?se?. The running order is curated as a narrative, as an album that takes
you on a journey. But separately, it all works as singles, DJ tracks and
tools. Welcome to Nine Years Of Love! |

Noumen
returns to Central Processing Unit after a six-year absence with Altum. This
bumper record, the Ukrainian artist's fourth release for the Sheffield label
and first since 2019 double-LP Obscurium, serves to remind us all why
Noumen's music has been lauded by the likes of Mixmag and Resident Advisor in
the past. Altumis a consummate piece of contemporary electronic production, a
technoid exploration of outer-edges electronica that nods to genre greats
like Autechre while still maintaining its own unconventional charm. FFO:
Autechre, Aphex Twin, Modeselektor, Bochum Welt, LFO. Across well over an
hour of music here we find Noumen repeatedly playing punchy mid-tempo beat
work off of some more cerebral tuned synths. Altum kicks off with the epic
'Oion' - beginning in that Autechre/AFX mid-tempo zone, full of deep-sea
bangs and whirrs, the track slowly builds to a final stretch of
delay-drenched keys which set us free amidst the outer cosmos, almost Sun
Ra-style. It's a perfect liminal-space roller and an apt scene-setter for
Altum. 'Oion' provides a blueprint for several of the album's other
highlights - plenty of the joints here adopt that same approach of hitting
hard with the drums and soft with the synths. Second track 'Splitter' takes
on the baton from 'Oion' while souping up the kick to warehouse levels; the
beats in 'Far Wind' splutter like a needle skipping on a mid-90s Tresor drop;
'Fate Carette', all eerie looped synth leads, is a highlight as the album
enters the home straight. The rhythm production (which, it should be noted,
is exemplary throughout Altum) is ratched up in intensity on a handful of
numbers. 'Telemask' displays a delightful breakbeat - if you'd told me this
was sampled from golden age A Tribe Called Quest, I'd have believed you.
Mid-section anchors 'Awe' and 'Axis' are glitchers in the Mike Paradinas
mould, with the latter showing off some pleasing steel pan-esque synth leads
for good measure. And while Altum generally maintains a processional pace
throughout, there are points where Noumen toughens up the drums for club
deployment - 'Unveilness' shows off a real chunkiness in the low end, closer
'Spurling Sign' plays a satisfying rolling groove off of ever-layering
synths, and the title-track is an alien machine-funker in keeping with fellow
CPU electronauts like Silicon Scally and Cygnus. Noumen's third album for
Central Processing Unit is a pleasingly hefty double-LP which builds on the
zany invention of acts like Modeselektor and Autechre to delightful effect |

After their first outing on
Future Retro London, the trio return with Sage EP for FABRICLIVE. Across four
tracks they balance toughness and detail: breaks cut sharp, basslines hit
heavy, but the space in the mix leaves room for atmosphere. Charades layers
wistful vocals over warm pads and low end weight. Sage drifts between
dreamlike textures and hammering drums, flipping between amens and
four-to-the-floor momentum - a bridge between classic jungle and jungle
tekno. Magpie pushes the intensity higher - fast, tense, built for peak time
systems. Golden Hour winds things down with airy pads and organic detail,
easing the pace without losing presence. Sage EP distills jungle’s grit,
beauty, and power - moving both body and mind |

Negrea
Love Dub', originally released in 1978, is a cornerstone in the reggae dub
scene. By the end of the 1970s Linval Thompson had cut out a successful dual
career for himself as both singer and producer. Naturally he moved in the dub
field as well, getting further use out of rhythms he used in his other works.
Dub had begun strictly as an album format with limited pressing runs for
scene insiders, but it had swiftly gained the interest of the rank and file
reggae buffs. Linval Thompson produced riddims which were laid at Channel One
studio by The Revolutionaries – at the time a celebrated studio band led by
drum and bass partners Sly Dunbar & Robbie Shakespear – and mixed at King
Tubby's renown studio at 18 Dromilly Avenue in Kingston by Prince Jammy. The
sound of the ten dubs featured here is hypnotic and its effects are euphoric
to say the least |

Following
the skewed-unself-help-brilliance of ‘Sus Dog’ (which marked his first full
foray into songs, abetted by Thom Yorke), and its companion piece ‘Cave Dog’,
Chris Clark returns to the dancefloor’s simple, but no less affecting
pleasures, with ‘Steep Stims’. “I found it hard to pull away from listening
to this record, hard to stop making it, I had to remove myself from the Stims
and stop enjoying it at some point. The album feels like nature to me. I love
it when electronic music feels more naturalistic than acoustic music, more
potent, that’s the devil’s trick, the promise of electronic music.” comments
Chris. “I used an old synth - the Virus on all of the tracks. I used it at
Mess in Melbourne - run by my friend Robin Fox - I loved it so much I had to
buy one when I got back to the UK, it took a while to find. They’re a bit
clunky to program but make some of my most favourite sounds.” ‘Steep Stims’
marks a back-to-basics approach, invoking the early years of gung-ho
creativity enforced by limitations in technology at the time. “Most of the
tracks on this album capture the spirit of making music on old samplers,
which don’t have much memory time”, explains Clark. “It reminds me of making
‘Clarence Park’, my first album, where I would have to finish tunes in the
session, as they would be saved on floppy disks and I couldn’t easily go
between tracks. This new record is just a few synths and a few choice sounds;
the writing is the important thing.” Made quickly, ‘Steep Stims’ reflects the
immediate rave energy of his live show, but that’s not to say it’s basic
floor fodder, as it’s rife with personality, synth magic, and knack for
melody. Although swift and impressionistically captured rather than laboured
over, it’s still formidably deft, with plenty of oddball weirdness lurking
beneath the dancefloor. Soft, orange, scorched, brutal, the opening track
‘Gift and Wound’ captures the classic dance music dread / awe / euphoria
combo perfectly, before ‘Infinite Roller’ merges sparkly-minimalism with
snarling bass and soft sines, which turn more dense and metallic as it
progresses. The melancholic smoke belch of ‘No Pills U’ gives strong classic
vibrations, which is belied by its creation, made in just 20 minutes. “I love
working quickly sometimes”, comments Clark.
Inspiration hits, rough and ready. It’s off the cuff but also screams
‘don’t gild the lily with nonsense, keep it simple keep it clean’”. Segueing
into its elder brother, the piece becomes bigger and beatier on ‘Janus
Modal’, where it permutates for over 7 minutes of fluttering, beatific club
majesty. At ‘18EDO Bailiff’ you inexplicably find yourself at a clearing,
things have suddenly got much quieter. You enter a decrepit and eerie old
house, and as you move through its unsettling interior, you arrive at
‘Globecore Flats’. A real piano tuned to 18 notes per octave gives the pair
of tracks a haunted, olde worlde feel, which promptly gets eaten by a huge
tech step tearout monster, birthing a strange but exotic beast. The white hot
‘Blowtorch Thimble’ is all hooktasm-rave-hyper-amen-energy, whilst acidic
flute leaps around like Ian Anderson on pingers throughout the catchily
simple jump-up lurch of ‘Civilians’. “‘In Patient’s Day Out’ is like some
sort of Morricone-does-kraut-rock-with-drum-machines, but that’s probably
just in my head” says Clark. “I made several versions of this then went with
the early mix but cranked through some choice outboard because it just had
something |

(Marble
12’’ vinyl, Gregor Tresher remix) Early support from Timo Maas, Paco Osuna,
Ilario Alicante, Just Her, Adriatique, and more. Igor Vicente joins forces
with Dka for the ‘Ecstatic’ EP this November, released via Belgian imprint
Move Recordings, including a remix from Gregor Tresher. Move Recordings is a
Belgian electronic music label founded and helmed by veteran DJ/producer
End-Jy (Jérôme Naujoks), known for his roots in the 1990s techno scene of
Tournai and major collaborations with acts like Marco Bailey. Now reborn in
2025, the label returns with more powerful electronic music for the
modern-day discerning listener. This time, it welcomes fellow Belgian DJ and
producer Igor Vicente, renowned for his genre-blending style and releases on
labels such as Mobilee, Hot Creations, and Visionquest, once again in
collaboration with fellow Belgian DkA, who’s racked up releases on labels
like Get Physical, Constant State, and Mau5trap Recordings—a striking sign of
his ability to explore a variety of genres and styles. The original version
of ‘Ecstatic’ leads, featuring subtly blooming atmospherics, a nuanced synth
hook, oscillating percussion, and raw drums, all building towards a climatic
breakdown and a powerful drop in the latter stages. Gregor Tresher reshapes
the original with his signature twist, extracting fragments of the track and
fusing them with elongated bass grooves, heavily shuffled, crunchy drums, and
intricately intertwined melodious elements. ‘Planets’ opens the B-side, a
nine-minute excursion through squelchy acid bass notes, cinematic pads,
robust drums, and chuggy arpeggio synth lines. The ‘Ecstatic (Dub Mix)’ then
concludes the EP, shifting focus solely onto the raw groove and hypnotic
melody of the original composition, as the name suggests |

(LP,
black vinyl, 200 copies) Blending elements of jazz, classical, and
minimalism, the trio forges a unique language of their own, creating slowly
unfolding soundscapes where melody and silence intertwine. Belgian violinist
and composer Elisabeth Klinck announces the debut album of her ensemble,
Klinck Trio, on VIERNULVIER Records. My Hair is Everywhere will be released
on November 7, 2025 on vinyl LP and through all digital platforms. Rooted in
improvisation and guided by openness, the Klinck Trio — Adia Vanheerentals
(saxophone, voice), Maya Dhondt (piano, voice), and Elisabeth Klinck (violin,
voice) —crafts music where sound and silence are equally vital. Their debut
album is an exploration of fragility, unfolding like a delicate conversation
in which each note is chosen with intention and every pause carries presence.
Recorded in the summer of 2024 at Studio Ledeberg, My Hair Is Everywhere
captures a moment in time: three musicians meeting in sound, each bringing
their own timbre, language and natural state of being into dialogue. Klinck
offers seeds of material —metaphors, sketches, sonic ideas — that the
ensemble shapes into fully formed pieces. The result is an album that stands
complete, yet carries within it the openness to unfold further in live
performance, where new layers and resonances can emerge. In the spirit of
American composer and pianist Meredith Monk, the trio embraces lightness
andvulnerability, crafting soundscapes that feel both childlike in their
intimacy and expansive in their emotional reach. My Hair is Everywhere
balances melancholy, tenderness, and harmonic interplay with silence, breath,
and resonance—the subtle negative space where music continues beyond the
notes themselves. By recording in close proximity, every detail emerges: the
strike of piano pedals, the clicking of saxophone keys, the intake of breath,
and the faint displacement of air. Textures of dragging violin, whispered
fragments, and soft humming become almost tangible, drawing the listener
fully into this intimate, enveloping present moment. Above all, this
compelling debut is an invitation to listen differently: to enter a
transformative space where three distinct musical voices find each other in
fragility. The artwork, created by French artist Annabelle Guetatra, reflects
the album’s sense of lightness through color and playful collage work |

Analog
Decay proudly announces its debut release: a powerful statement of intent
from the label, rooted in raw aesthetics and a deep reverence for the analog
medium. For this first chapter, the imprint calls upon Argentine producer
Translate, whose distinctive take on sci-fi-infused techno sets the tone for
what's to come. The A-side opens with "RAD-100", a hypnotic journey
into mechanical rhythm and spectral textures, followed by a forceful
reinterpretation by the legendary Jonas Kopp, whose remix brings heightened
tension and propulsion to the original narrative. On the B-side,
"Pyramids" explores geometric pulse patterns and atmospheric depth,
while "Infrared" closes the EP with a dense, pulsating groove
designed for late-night transcendence. This release has been meticulously
mastered by Giuseppe Tillieci (Neel) at Enisslab (Rome), ensuring a dynamic
and immersive sound experience. The visual identity is completed by artwork
from Mauricio Atencia, with photography by Paula Romero, reflecting the
label's commitment to brutalist minimalism and analog imperfection |

Ritual
Dance - is a sound journey, where futurism and the obsolete merge into a new
world. Arash & Quasar (truth and star) - is a duo of electronic
producers, friends, DJs, rare record collectors and artists, Pavel Grachev
and Vitaly Zhul'kov. Their approach for music making compiles elements of
various cultures and eras, resulting in fresh and trippy sonic labyrinths.
The title track puts the listener in a state of trance and wild fields, where
shaman dance moves take over the existense. Powerful percussion, rich synth
textures and traditional instruments are mixed in one. 'Acid Krishna' extends
the trip, adding acid basslines and meditative flavour. A true morning anthem
of a proper rave trip. 'Lokum' is exploring the deepness of the East through
melodies, that sweeten up your adventure away from the daily reality. The
flip side starts with 'Opium', where slow beats suck you in the abyss more
and more. 'Truth & Star' - is an energy exchange ceremony, where Arash
& Quasar become rhythm wizards and dictate how you move and feel, just
like snakes dance to the magic flute... The Truth refers to the inner
awakening and The Star is the symbol of the external shine. 'Desert' is the
final chapter of the trip, evolving into eternity, just like a caravan
dissolves in the endless desert, hot air and the blue night... Besides studio
work, Arash & Quasar share videos of their own trips and adventures via
Youtube-chanel, called DIG LOTO. Together with their best friend, the
portative Vestax Handy Trax vinyl player, they search for rare records in
remote destinations |

Carving vast chasms of space with
exacting sound design and deadly poise, Katatonic Silentio returns to the
Mantis series for another round of highly detailed leftfield techno
exploration. The Turin based sound artist continues to plot her own path
through contemporary electronic music, taking cues from soundsystem pressure
and dubwise minimalism as much as glitchy experimentation and the meditative
repetition of techno. While her output across many different labels can reach
to noisy extremes and beatless atmospheres, on her latest for Mantis the
Italian artist zeroes in on a hypnotic, mysterious sound cast in the icy
moods of late 90s tech step and early dubstep. At all times she finds space
for surprise interference even in the most austere of situations, creating a
palpable tension that amplifies the deep dancefloor potential of her music
and moulding powerful physicality out of subtle elements |

Welcome to New Fair Tracks, a new
and fair story in the New Fair Deal canon. Phase O'Matic, the young yet
already prolific UK based artist, presents the first chapter with his potent
style of new wave techno beat. With nods to EBM, acid and the early rave
days, Phase O'Matic captures the raw and hypnotic sounds of the 80s and 90s
with the precision and refinement required to carry forth through the 2020s
and beyond. Four tracks for every phase of the night, the 'New Crusade' is
geared to get floors moving in dark rooms around the globe. Will you heed the
call? |

Pearl River Sound - Selected
Works 17-24 is a unique sonic archive of Roberto Semeraro, known as Pearl
River Sound, one of the most eclectic experimenters in the Italian electronic
scene. This collection compiles years of research and sonic exploration, featuring
previously unreleased tracks that have never been pressed on vinyl. Moving
fluidly between idm textures, deconstructed techno, glitch, breakbeat
rhythms, and ambient incursions, each track represents a moment in Pearl
River Sound's artistic journey between 2017 and 2024. This release is part of
LOSTINLAYOUT GALLERY's participation in the exhibition at EXP - Palazzo delle
Esposizioni in Rome, running from April 26, 2025, as part of the group show
"THE ART OF TOMORROW. TODAY #1." The exhibition features works by
four urban artists: LUCA FONT, JOYS, STEN & LEX, and V3RBO. Each print is
randomly paired with a 10x15 cm postcard insert showcasing an artwork by one
of the four visual artists |

Early
support from Dave Clarke, Joseph Capriati, Marco Bailey, Kölsch, SLAM,
Jonathan Kaspar, Trecci, Nicolas Masseyeff, Dimitri Kneppers, Costello,
Luciano Esse, Âme, and more. Laurent Garnier's COD3 QR doubles up this
October with accompanying vinyl and digital releases featuring two tracks
apiece from Skatman, Costello, Lois (FR), Carlos Nilmmns, Jay Robinson and
DCLVIII OFC… it's The Big Fat Kahuna Burger! Skatman is Berlin based,
Tunisian born DJ, producer and label head of Cognitive Prophecy, who has
gained recognition for his distinctive approach to electronic music. With a substantial discography, including
tracks on renowned labels such as Innervisions and Correspondent, and regular
DJ appearances in the world's favourite clubs, Skatman has become one of the
most intriguing and captivating artists in the industry. His sound has evolved into an homage to his
experiences in his current home of Berlin and early years in Tunisia. Four-to-the-floor house, techno, 80s
synth-pop, breaks, and cinematic scores have all contributed to forming his
unique sound. Costello is a versatile French electronic music producer,
artist and DJ known for his cutting- edge sound and technical prowess. With a rich discography that traverses
techno, disco and beyond, Costello has carved out a niche as a genre-defying
act. His standout tracks have not only captured the attention of underground
stalwarts like Boys Noize and Laurent Garnier but also made waves among
mainstream giants such as David Guetta and Tiësto. Lois (FR), who has also
produced under the name Loïs Plugged, is a sound engineer and music producer. He has signed numerous compositions and
remixes on independent and major labels including Trax, Boxon, Wefine,
BombStrikes, Sony and of course COD3 QR, alongside work in mixing, mastering
and sound design, becoming one of the key players in the Bordeaux electronic
scene. As a sound expert, he is also
manager of Intelligent Design, his production and mastering studio, and
manager of the Wefine label as well as founder of the Bordeaux school
Artschool. Ross McMillan, known professionally as Carlos Nilmmns, is a
Scottish electronic music producer, DJ and composer originally from
Glasgow. Over the years he has
collaborated with a range of notable artists, including Grammy-nominated and
Grammy-winning figures, including Kenny Dope, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson
and Davina Bussey, plus respected artists like Niko Marks, Rolando, Laurent
Garnier, Santiago Salazar, Hardrock Striker, Karl The Voice, Zadig, Ben Sims,
Andrés (who worked with Jay Dilla and Moodymann), and YouANDme. His music has been released on COD3 QR,
Planet E, Trax, Cocoon, Ornaments, Circus, Virgin, Skylax/Universal Music
France and more. His style draws from
house, techno, and jazz influences, often combining analogue and digital
production methods. Jay Robinson has been in the music scene for a decade
with his mix of house, techno and bass finding support from all corners of
the industry from Laurent Garnier to Deadmau5 to Idris Elba and more. His Mau5trap releases have garnered
additional support and his remix of Deadmau5 x Neptunes record
"Pomegranate" boasts over two million streams on Spotify
alone. Remixes for Fatboy Slim (on
Skint), Jason Derulo (Atlantic Records) and Todd Edwards (Defected)
followed. More recently he has a
mastering credit on Skepta & Amy Winehouse "Can't Play Myself"
and forthcoming collaborations with AC Slater, Kryder and Todd Edwards.
Anthony Godin, originally known by his alias The White Shadow (FR), has been
a veteran of music production for over two decades with releases on Suara,
Still Von Talent, Kattermukke and Einmusika.
Over the course of his career, Anthony has explored a variety of
musical equipment, moving from the MPC2000, Korg mic, Nord Lead 2, and Yamaha
01V to a more minimalist approach with a Moog Sub37, TD-3, RolandTR-8S and
immersive live performances. He
created the DCLVIII OFC project to embody a more techno approach, with Detroit
influences and a Garnier touch, adding subtle progression and a melody, as he
continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, with an unwavering
passion for the art of sound |

Marc Brauner joins Flipsight with
a four-track journey combining soulful depth and club-ready energy in equal
measure. Under Marc's motto, "Stay Radiant", the A-side opens with
a deep head-nodder that glows with a smooth and rolling groove from start to
finish. "It's Alright" immediately raises the pulse with tight
percussion, lush pads, and feel good momentum. Flip it over for the B-side,
"Show Me How" rides a big kick-snare combo and subtle spacy
accents. Closing things out, "Floaty" does exactly what the title
suggests: a bass-driven buzzer that lifts the floor and seals the deal |

Renowned
Vienna-based keyboardist and producer Philipp Quehenberger is known for his
improvisational approach to electronic music. With a history of notable
releases on respected labels like Cheap Records and Editions Mego and his
energetic live sets, Quehenberger has built a reputation for a distinctive
sound. His latest release, the vinyl EP "Hot Water", comes as the
inaugural offering from the newly established label "other
machines". Opening with "Emortal" a slowed down four on the
floor beat is acompanied by a heavy bassriff and wobbly psychedelic
synthlines, the record picks up speed but maintains its dark but catchy vibe
with the house -like "Heaven" featuring strings and another
wallshaking bassline. The B-side starts off with "Trytrance",
combining filtered melodic fragments with an acid infused synth bassline and
a wonky but speedy disco beat. The title track "Hot Water" that
sounds like from the inside of a steamroller, and the final track
"Thirty Three" each escalate tempo and intensity into a pulsating
wall of sound. Quehenberger's improvisational ethos shines throughout the EP,
allowing for spontaneity and exploration while maintaining a cohesive sonic
narrative, mirroring his live performance style, where moments of
unpredictability often lead to surprising revelations |
