Slam
collaborate with Hector Oaks, 999999999, Keith Tucker (AKA Optic Nerve),
Amelie Lens, Rebekah, AnD & Perc, for a new five part Soma Records
project LOUDER THAN CHAOS. On March 2020 the world was abruptly thrown into
collective disarray. The Pandemic stopped almost everything dead in its
tracks. No social gatherings, self isolation, a sense of panic and
bewilderment prevailed. An industry that had become so dependent on human
connection and unity, was suddenly switched off and put on pause for an
unforeseeable future. It was in this climate that The Louder Than Chaos
project was born, facilitated by Soma Records head honchos and techno
protagonists Slam. A collaborative project with friends, colleagues and
contemporaries normally only seen at airports, or events, now brought
together under a completely different set of circumstances, allowing for a
purposeful connection in a time of disconnect. The focus of the project is
built on a powerful mutual participation, remotely constructed over time and
fully intended for holding court on peak time dance floors when they
inevitably return. That time has now finally come. The Louder Than Chaos
project is a series of 5 releases, on 12 vinyl" & Digital, to be
released monthly via Soma Records. Featuring collaborations between Slam
& Hector Oaks, Slam & 999999999 Slam & Keith Tucker (AKA Optic
Nerve), + more to follow. Each EP features specially commissioned artwork
from German based artist PPP Panic, which consolidates into one constructive

Oblique is proud to present it's second Various Artists EP by
friends we have met years ago online. Before we had our first releases, we
would upload our music to Soundcloud and these guys were always on my radar
to check instantly. Besides inspiring me, their comments and feedback were
invaluable to my growth as a producer. Fast-forward a few years and everyone
has grown in their own way, with multiple releases, labels and parties to
emerge. The platforms have changed, but the connection did not, hence the
idea to reunite them on wax :) The EP shows four different takes on hypnotic
techno, starting with the driving and slowly morphing "Radiate"
from Kaelan, followed by the intense mindbender "The Nomad" from
Antonio Vazquez. On the flipside we go more atmospheric with Refracted
showcasing his expert sound manipulation on "Uku Che". Ending the
EP is the subtlely layered and ultra deep "Ditoan" from Alan

Colony's Holding Hands sub-label, Yosh serves up four steppers that navigate
us from the doors of the club to front left of the speaker. 'Don't Say' is a
fast cut of subby breakbeat-garage; the producer's knack for emotionally
stimulating vocal samples and peak-time basslines moving into the frame. 'All
That Acid' gives squirming acid lines and stripped-back percussion, mutating
the breaksy, UK energy into something more electro focused, and in doing so
provides what could be the score for an old racing video game, before 'Choose
One' takes us back into familiar Yosh territory with a cut of dreamy garage,
with the odd dubby wobble for good measure. We finish on a personal note with
'Home', a cut that epitomises that good feeling that can only come with
returning to a place of comfort; relaxed atmospherics and 2-step rhythms

Under the darkness of the Black
Sky, Public Enemy returns to shed light: After a five year hiatus, Chuck D
& Flavor Flav return to the scene with a new Public Enemy album, bringing
their always insightful commentary over rugged and shapeshifting beats. From
the opening diagnosis of "Siick" all the way to the insanity of
school shootings during "March Madness", the red, Black, and green
machine is back to clean up the scene. Public Enemy, the influential American
hip-hop group that was founded in Long Island, New York, in 1982, officially
starting in 1985. Known for their socially critical and often
militant-sounding lyrics, combined with a loud, sample-heavy sound, Chuck D
and Flavor Flav are the core members. They are considered one of the most
influential, controversial and radical bands of their time, crossing over in

This
was the ardent wish of thousands of fans calling out to Andi Deris, Michael
Kiske, Michael Weikath, Kai Hansen, Markus Grosskopf, Sascha Gerstner and
Dani Löble during the PUMPKINS UNITED WORLD TOUR - and their dream has come
true! With the upcoming album, simply titled HELLOWEEN, the band opens a new
chapter after 35 years of a glorious career. The future of one of the most
influential German metal bands from now on will feature three singers.
Originally planned for the live performances only, it was the birth of a
unique seven piece metal alliance. Dani Löble: ”This record is the coronation
of the PUMPKINS UNITED journey! Still today I am fascinated by the different
character traits and facets of the HELLOWEEN history. As an example I’d like
to point out the legendary voices of Michi, Andi and Kai. To enjoy them now
together on one record, under one flag is the ultimate HELLOWEEN experience”.
It is therefore not surprising that the pre-release single SKYFALL, a 12
minute epos written by Kai Hansen, has the long yearned “Keeper-vibe” - even
if the long player can by no means be limited to it. SKYFALL implies the
musical arch which will be loved by fans of every era. This first album of a
new age is taking the fans from unforgettable memories of the fifteen studio
records and four live CD’s to new adventures. SKYFALL begins with a bang. The
epic track describes an alien landing on earth and a dramatic chase while
Kiske, Deris and Hansen duel with each other in a breathtaking manner and
create a vocal broadband adventure. Produced by Martin Häusler, it is the
most elaborate video clip in the history of the band; shown with 3-D
animation and having a cinematic look, this video is a real high-end
experience. ”FEAR OF THE FALLEN” – the second single is a fast paced, melodic
track done the way only Deris can do it. ”I had so much fun not only writing
a song for my voice but also for one of the greatest singers out there. I
always have an extremely broad smile on my face when I hear Michi singing my
melodies“, says Deris and Kiske adds: ”The whole process, including the
spirit, was just ideal. If I had the feeling that one of the parts would not
be really fitting, I asked Andi if he would sing it and vice versa. There was
no competition whatsoever – what counted was what is best for the respective
song. I am thankful to be (again) a part of this crazy family. I love them
all”. Along with massive album tracks such as HELLOWEEN classic and album
opener “OUT FOR THE GLORY“, the epic “DOWN IN THE DUMPS”, both written by
Weikath, the power metal shouter “MASS POLLUTION“ by Deris and Grosskopf’s
scuff proof rocker “INDESTRUCTIBLE“ (which could be an analogy towards the
unbreakable career of the band), the album release is flanked by the
‘party-track‘ of the record, “BEST TIME“. Lyrically the song by Sascha
Gerstner reminds of the good old days, musically it´s convincing with
confident HELLOWEEN style guitar harmonies and a chorus that stays in your
long-term memory after hearing it for the first time. “HELLOWEEN“ offers a
complete metal universe within 12 songs. The base of this milestone album was
already erected in the studio: using the original drum kit of Ingo
Schwichtenberg, the recording was done with the same modulators at the
Hamburg HOME studios where back then ”Master Of The Rings“, ”The Time Of The
Oath“ and ”Better Than Raw“ were recorded. Completely analog and under the
eyes of long term producer Charlie Bauerfeind and co-producer Dennis Ward,
the UNITED impact travelled to New York and got the final mix in the Valhalla
Studios of Ronald Prent (Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Rammstein). Returnee Kai
Hansen reflects: ”Being in the studio with my old companions after 30 years
was very emotional for me. But at the same time it was a completely different
experience with the ‘new‘ boys. The collaboration of different songwriters
and strong characters made the album very special: a unique mix with
reminiscences from all chapters of the band’s history. HELLOWEEN is a big
part of my life and I am looking forward to celebrating the songs live for
and with our fans“! From another perspective Markus Grosskopf agrees: ”For
me, being one of the last “survivors” who played every note from the
beginning, it was a fantastic experience and a very emotional process. I
think everyone can hear it on this album. I love it“. When it came to
capturing the larger-than-life emotions in the artwork, it quickly became
clear that it was only possible as a handmade painting on which the important
topics of the band's history are processed. The work of Berlin based artist
Eliran Kantor has achieved this and visually underscores the fact that the
band cherishes all parts of their history. With all this brand new material
an album has been created, an album that is set apart from the digital
mainstream and showing the essence of the band was never more solid. This is
the beginning of something big – here comes HELLOWEEN! |

Bad Brains is the self-titled
debut studio album recorded by American hardcore punk/reggae band Bad Brains.
Recorded in 1981 and released on (then) cassette-only label ROIR on February
5, 1982, many fans refer to it as "The Yellow Tape" because of it's
yellow packaging. Though Bad Brains had recorded the 16 song Black Dots album
in 1979 and the 5-song Omega Sessions EP in 1980, the ROIR cassette was the
band's first release of anything longer than a single. The release includes
the original liner notes by Ira Kaplan of Yo La Tengo. This reissue marks the
second release in the remaster campaign on the band's own Bad Brains Records
imprint with Org Music. In coordination with the band, Org Music has overseen
the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains' recordings. The
audio was mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering |

Bursting
with anger and energy, "No Glory" delivers one hook after another,
making it a must-have for fans of Rancid and Cock Sparrer. 12 tracks, all
killer, no filler. "The melodies and harmonies on this album are truly
my tribute to Cock Sparrer," says guitarist Arild. "We wanted to
make the best album we could ever make, and I think we've achieved it,"
says bassist Mårten. The band turned to renowned producer Chips Kiesbye
(SATOR, Millencolin, Michael Monroe, The Hellacopters), who took on the role
of producer and engineer. Chips was also a fan of Stefan's other band, City
Saints, and so the deal was perfect. Hear for yourself, No Glory will explode
in your speakers! Bastardes began as a side project when singer Stefan (City
Saints) and guitarist Arild (Troublemakers) started writing songs together.
The debut album, "Drunk on Dreams," was recorded with a who's who
of the punk scene (Gatans Lag, Anti Cimex, Jenny Woo, etc.). Bassist Mårten
(The Liptones) joined shortly after the album's release in 2019. A few gigs,
a COVID lockdown, and further recordings for the five-track split album
"A Handful of Punk & Oi!" followed, before drummer Daniel
(Bombfors) joined in 2023 |

Celebrating
its anniversary with a characteristically bold move, Kyiv-based vinyl label
Artreform isn't closing a chapter - it's opening a new one. Rather than
issuing a standard 50th release, the label jumps straight to release 51 with
this striking 8-track mini-album - a sly nod to the new sounds and exciting
events still to come. Splitting the anniversary release into two parts (four
tracks each) creates a liminal space between the past and the future; between
canonical house sounds and futuristic sound experiments. Unwavering ambition
and a daring vision have long defined Artreform - and are deeply embedded in
the creative credo of its founder, DJ, producer, and vinyl connoisseur Joss.
After an impressive 13-year journey, it's fair to say that Artreform has
never succumbed to the lure of fleeting trends, remaining steadfast in its

At
the same time that Neville 'Bunny Wailer' Livingston recorded his debut solo
long playing masterpiece, 'Blackheart Man', he was also creating a series of
singles for his own Solomonic label. These records were every bit as good, at
times even better, but they have never been released outside of Jamaica.
Until now...; It is next to impossible
to ever overstate the importance of The Wailers to the history of Jamaican
music and, as the last surviving member of the group, Bunny Wailer rightly
regards himself as the sole keeper of their history ever mindful of the
group's exalted position in the story of reggae music and the importance of
their legacy. In 2010 Dub Store were proud to be able to work with Bunny on
re-releasing a selection of his earliest recordings for the Solomonic label,
lovingly restored and presented in reproduction sleeves and labels, on
limited edition seven and twelve inch singles. Now, taking another step
forward, we are more than proud to present Bunny's timeless music on two
beautifully packaged CD's and double LP's. Bunny's first solo album,
'Blackheart Man' originally released in 1976 on his own Solomonic label in
Jamaica and on Island in the UK, is one of the undisputed all time classics
of Jamaican music and established Bunny Wailer as a highly respected, world
renowned artist in his own right. During this period Bunny also produced a
series of singles released in Jamaica and the UK in strictly limited
quantities without the benefit of international distribution, that are every
bit as good and, in some cases, even better than this awesome debut long
player. Original copies have subsequently become highly prized, and highly
priced, collector's items. "Classic rarities" is an overused and
abused term too often employed to describe average records that failed to
sell on their initial release but both 'Tread Along' and 'Rise & Shine'
are packed from beginning to end with a searing selection of some of the
greatest and hardest to find reggae records ever produced. 'Tread Along'
opens, naturally enough, with 'Tread Along' from 1969, one of the last
singles for The Wailers' own Wail N Soul M label, and runs through the first
release on the Solomonic label, 'Searching For Love' also known as 'Search
For I', 'Bide Up' released as 1974 drew to a close, a radical reworking of
'Pass It On' and a marked contrast to the version on The Wailers' 'Burnin'',
album, 'Life Line' and the prophetic 'Arabs Oil Weapon' kept the pressure on
as Bunny began outlining the flawless 'Blackheart Man' album. Each release
was a certified classic in its own right. Peter Tosh's melodica version to
Bunny's 'Amagideon' ('Armageddon'), the first track on 'Rise & Shine', is
followed by 'Love Fire', an update of another Wail N Soul M track, 'Fire
Fire'/'Babylon Burning', through to one of the deepest roots records ever
created, 'Rise & Shine', on to 'Riding' from the 'Bunny Wailer Sings The
Wailers' sessions (but not featured on the album) and a huge hit in the UK in
1981, and closing with 'Rule Dance Hall' from 1985. No idle boast...; The
liner notes feature the story of The Wailers, as told to Dub Store by Bunny
himself in Kingston in an enlightening 2012 interview, and rarely seen
contemporary photographs complete these essential releases. The music of
Bunny Wailer was not only a medium for change and protest but also to
elucidate and educate and 'Tread Along' and 'Rise & Shine' finally
complete the canon of un-compiled Wailers music. "I'm quite satisfied,
you know, reggae music is the kind of music that although sometimes you would
look at it and say...; boy, it's hard...; then again you look at what it has
done for the people of the world you know that that couldn't be locked up in

Dopelganger is the project in collaboration between classically
trained accordion player and singer Garazi Navas (Usansolo, Bizkaia-Biscay,
1995) and Miguel A. Garcia (Vitoria-Gasteiz), an artist living in Bilbao with
an extensive career in the fields of experimental music and sound art. Sainen
Hildo is an album based on Miguel's original compositions, recomposed and
rearranged for accordion and voice by the two composers. Using the natural
resonance and harmonics of these two instruments to influence their
introspective interactions, resulting in evolving drones and tones and
puzzling percussive outbursts. Unusual and at times unsettling, they manage
to create a calibrated, deep and complex exploratory universe of ambience and
drone where listening becomes a ritual. Highest recommendation for fans of

delivers a powerful five-tracker on FJAAK's CROWD with 'Ghost Rockets',
pushing his signature blend of gritty textures, stripped-down rhythms and
emotional weight even further. Known for fusing 90s-rooted techno with
contemporary clarity, Introversion opens the EP with 'Lights', a track that

Bézier
ripples their way back to Dark Entries with Decompose, an LP of doomed spa
music. Multi-instrumentalist Robert Yang has made numerous appearances on
Dark Entries for more than a decade, with releases spanning the stylistic
gamut from hi-NRG disco floor-fillers to lush ambient epics. Decompose,
Bézier’s second LP, is perhaps his most introspective work yet. It is an
album almost ten years in the making, a deep investigation of life, loss, and
the struggle of knowing oneself. If one were to pull a tarot deck for this
album it would be the Nine of Swords. The album honors the lives of the
fallen victims of Pulse Nightclub. It honors lives lost or suffering through
the ongoing genocide in Gaza. The title track takes the form of a Buddhist
chant, a brooding synth-driven meditation that scales steadily until breaking
into John Carpenter-esque arpeggios halfway through. Tracks like “Egg,”
“Marionette,” and “A Fading Citadel Atop Black Sand Bluffs” build on this
soundworld, one in which intricate melodies and cavernous reverb induce in
the listener feelings of both claustrophobia and free-fall. The album’s
dancefloor-leaning moments, like “Codebreaking” and “Split a Path Towards the
Thicket” are spartan, tunnel-vision techno tracks speeding towards ego-death.
Decompose chronicles Yang’s journey to find peace with himself, as a gay
Asian American. During this process, they learned to “repot” long-lost parts
of their identity so they could grow forth in wholesome fashion. The sleeve
for Decompose was designed by Eloise Shir-Juen Leigh, and features a
photograph by Frankie Casillo of Robert laying on a bed of rocks in savasana
pose, resembling an ascetic, evocative of the monastic vibes of the record |

Motor
city royalty Floorplan, aka Detroit techno pioneer and creator of minimal
techno Robert Hood and his DJ/producer daughter Lyric Hood, announce their
forthcoming inclusion in the deeply respected ‘fabric presents’ mix series
with the release of their new single ‘You’re A Shining Star’, out now. The
full mix drops on digital/vinyl/CD via fabric records on 28th November.
Robert has been a long-standing fabric favourite since the institution's
earliest years, clocking up over 20 sets in Room 2, including a live session
on New Year's Eve, 2012. In 2008, he'd turn in Fabric 39 which is among the
most revered contributions to the fabric mix canon. Now, with the forthcoming
‘fabric presents Floorplan’ mix, the story comes full circle - marking both
the duo’s debut on the iconic mix series and a monumental moment for the
family project. About Floorplan: Emerging from a musically rich Detroit
upbringing steeped in Motown and vinyl culture, Robert Hood became an early
member of the seminal ’90s collective Underground Resistance, helping to
spearhead the rise of techno. Going solo, Hood created minimal techno with
his Minimal Nation LP. Groundbreaking productions, acclaimed performances,
and his own M-plant label followed, until in ’96 he formed Floorplan - an
alter ego to expand beyond minimal techno into gospel, soul and house-infused
techno. Immersed in music from an early age, Lyric eventually caught the same
electronic spark that’s driven her father for decades. In 2014, after the
release of Hood’s debut Floorplan album Paradise, the project evolved as the
then-16-year-old Lyric joined him to perform as Floorplan, including a
supreme closing set at Dekmantel’s Boiler Room stage. Two years later, Lyric
officially became a full member of Floorplan, cementing their father–daughter
collaboration, and they’d release their co-produced album Victorious on
M-Plant that same year |

Azu
Tiwaline & Cinna Peyghamy, Amotik, Quelza, and Alarico remix four tracks
from Ben Klock and Fadi Mohem’s collaborative album ‘Layer One’. Released
last year on the pair’s label LAYER, each artist on the ‘Layer One Remixes’
EP retains the weighty, low-end edge that shaped the album, while
reinterpreting four tracks through a myriad of techno, IDM, bass, and
experimental shades. Honouring the conceptual direction of ‘Layer One’, which
delved into a post-human world and offered a serene reflection on a realm
that continued to flourish in the absence of humanity, the ‘Layer One
Remixes’ EP echoes the same theme. The remaining human survivors on Earth
signal a remembrance of their sensibilities, told through the powerful lyrics
and vocals of grime MC Flowdan and interdisciplinary artist Coby Sey. Azu
Tiwaline & Cinna Peyghamy open the EP with their remix of ‘Our Sector’
featuring the commanding vocals of Flowdan. Fragmented bass-driven textures
skitter across the sparse soundscape, culminating in a track primed for the
weirder hours of the night. On ‘Ultimately’, Amotik delivers his take on the
original featuring spoken word by Coby Sey, and whips up a rolling four-four
number pierced with bleepy percussion. On the flip, Quelza’s reinterpretation
of ‘Our Sector’ unfolds with zappy motifs and technoid flourishes, permeating
the shadowy pads and spine-chilling harmonics that slink through the
atmosphere. Alarico remixes ‘Clean Slate’, serving a potent techno track
laced with equal parts restraint and release, enhanced by Coby Sey’s taut
vocals. While the original album represented the more exploratory sides of
Ben Klock and Fadi Mohem, the ‘Layer One Remixes’ EP offers a further step
into the void, led by five contemporary artists who are unafraid to delve
into the murkiest corners of the dystopian world conjured up by Klock and
Mohem |

Devianza,
leading artist and owner of the label, returns to production by launching a
new series of single-sided vinyl releases, each featuring only two tracks.
The first instalment is a sonic catharsis rising from the very depths of a
generous land, abundant with new seeds ready to sprout. 'Le Piante di Elena'
is a dreamlike homage to a primordial world - untouched, pure, and still
fertile. A tribute to a newborn bearer of the most radical values of a
necessary humanism: a call to return to nature in its most spiritual and
purest form. Devianza appears to be evolving into a higher, more spiritual
dimension, where spirituality itself becomes the guiding force behind his
musical production. The single side opens with 'Betullae', a hypnotic ride
between deep and leftfield, characteristic of Devianza's sound, but this time
enriched with an Indian tonal and modal flavour. Forest landscapes are traced
by piano motifs that evoke interstellar journeys among endless birch trees.
'Sunset' continues the hypnotic drift with a melodic crescendo that conjures
the image of a sunflower field bathed in the warm glow of a summer sunset
without wind. Here, where everything stands still yet everything is, this
eight-minute piece becomes proof of the rarefaction of time - an instant
that, though fleeting, feels infinite |

Swiss-born, Berlin-based artist Stallo makes his anticipated
vinyl debut on Casanova Bar Records with Mifepan EP. After first appearing on
the label in 2020 with a contribution to [CBB007] a digital VA, he now
returns as the main artist on [CBR008], delivering two original tracks that
define his signature sound. The EP opens with Bleenthal, a hypnotic journey
built on rolling drums and immersive textures. On the flip,
"Wavoom" pulsates with a constantly evolving synth, pushing forward
with relentless energy. Elevating the release, Japanese techno legend Takaaki
Itoh delivers a raw and powerful remix of Wavoom, while Italian innovator
Fabio Florido reinvents Bleenthal with his cutting-edge sound design. Mifepan
EP is a bold statement from Stallo, an immersive exploration of deep grooves

and unite timeless yet forward-thinking sonics. On 'Fleeting Dreams', he
continues to refine his signature sound while channelling introspection and
intensity into a collection of meticulously crafted cuts that balance
precision and feeling, energy and space. Each track reveals a different side
of his sonic identity: hypnotic rhythms intertwine with evolving soundscapes,
while layers of distortion and melody merge into a dreamlike tension between
the mechanical and the organic. 'Fading Moments' kicks off with a sleek blend
of driving, supple kicks and warm synth ripples, while a euphoric vocal cry
is buried deep to amp up the emotion. 'Scenario' then brings icy hi-hats and
sinewy synths bring a futuristic feel to the unrelenting, high-pressure drums
down low. 'Daruma' has a darker energy with menacing textures and paranoid FX
bringing the rolling drums to life, while 'Bass Grit' has a hunched up
rhythm, with groaning pads and fizzing static electricity that charge up the
party. To close, 'Shimmer' sinks down into a muscular and deep rhythm that's

Summer 2013, Comeme label's studio - The District Union. Behind the analog
console and hardware - 20-year-old Philipp Gorbachev and Djs Pareja from

KGC Radio is all about returning to music-making roots - choices are raw,
minimalist and different from the sonic industry environment. The flow is
kept simple but deadly, using only the bare essentials to blow up the rave
and festival scenes: analog synths, drum machines, a mic, and some sick
percussion. The whole album was recorded in one take, like some kinda secret
radio wave you stumble on in the middle of the night. Catch it, and you're

the visual side, KGC Radio is a collab with Zhanna Maliti, this dope
