The beauty that arises from music is the
connection between people. Oblique's twelfth EP consists of four friends who
have spent many hours together in the studio, booth and kitchen, yet this is
the first time they appear on a release together. A friendship cultivated
from a shared passion for hypnotic techno, and here, each artist presents his
unique take on it |

Adam
BFD first burst onto the scene with his colourful, emotive driven
productions; making a name for himself as an artist bridging the gap between
electro, breaks and house. Now based in Paris, his work continues to put a
nostalgic and animated spin on his far-reaching influences, from London to
Mexico City and beyond. In the time since Adam's introduction a series of
singles and a recent EP on Running Out of Steam has seen the musician further
refine and develop his sonic palette and Embrace coming by way of Distant
Horizons is no exception. The five track EP covers many life cycles and no
matter how mature, Adam's tracks never lose the ability to make people move.
Adam starts by embracing the unknown in Le Voyage with its frenetic breaks
and glistening melodies opening up a pathway to the stars, before space opens
and time resides in Flotus; a special heart-searching moment, balanced by
springly, danceable grooves. I Mean It gently unravels with tangible
percussion and daydreaming textures, vocal loops becoming increasingly
hypnotic as time stands still. It's not just Adams pacing that's impressive,
but his ability to turn real world sounds into fully functional elements
heard in title track Embrace. Water moves freely over tightly packed drums and
arpeggiated synths; a piece of tranquility ready when needed. Which Gate
follows with pensive field recordings and cloud-formations; jerking breaks
leaping back and forth in another special EP from a producer just getting
started |

Meg
Ward has spent years formulating a special relationship with underground
culture in the North of the UK and was appointed one of BBC Music's 'Tips For
21' in the North East. Ward has carved her own distinct path through
energetic sets tied beautifully together by love and passion; It's on the
dancefloor where her taste and musical schooling took place and that same
schooling has fed into her dynamic, rich and jubilant productions. Meg's
releases on labels NeedWant, Clipp.Art & a remix on Patrick Topping's
imprint Trick have been doing the business around the globe, and she now
brings her radiant 'Connections' EP to important UK imprint Distant Horizons.
The result is as a record which brings together the best elements of club and
house, evoking a sense of freedom and expression through uplifting synths and
body shaking bass lines. Opening track 'Have Your Love' makes full use of
Kariya's original vocal, a balanced mix of old and new culminating in a fresh
and inspired club ready cut. Meg then turns her head to laden kick-drums and
melancholy induced pads, their tension released by the introduction of
coiling arps. The A side comes to a close with 'Connections' a functional,
yet ethereal track that seems to be signaling to something more. The B side
opens with 'Rupture the Rhythm' starting with breaks and sirens, acting as a
signal calling all ravers to the dancefloor before the place erupts with the
help of a 4/4 kick-drum and an active bassline. 'TekHerGucci' keeps the floor
moving with laseresque synths and glossy vocals. 'Cosmic Heat' sees us out,
the perfect end to a thrilling journey through the eyes of one of electronic
music's most promising artists |

You feel the weight of concrete,
steel, and decades of history alongside every beat. "Berlin," by
Clark Davis is a homage on Europe's ultimate home of techno. In cooperation
with Clark Davis, a series of artists who definitely wrote long time techno
history, have lend their support with thrilling remixes. G-Man, aka Gez
Varley, renowned from his groundbreaking work with LFO, lends his innovative
touch by two remix versions. Steve Stoll, a fixture on the global techno
scene since the early 90s, brings his minimalist approach. Additionally,
Roseen, inspired by sounds and rhythms of Detroit and influenced by Berlin's
subcultural night life, contributes his unique sound. All this makes
"Berlin" a deep techno journey that does justice to the spirit of
Berlins techno history |

repress - On the thirteenth solo release on his self-titled imprint,
Berlin-based DJ/producer Amotik delivers another three tracks of the rolling,
driving techno he's been pushing for eight years. Leading the release,
'Sattar' brings pulsating bleeps and shimmering synths over a dark, pounding
bass, while 'Bahatar' brings in punchy drums and soothing melodies, utilising
lighter soundscapes and rumbling low-ends to guide us through this hypnotic
workout. Closing out the release, 'Tihatar' combines shadowy stabs and
dramatic synth lines that gradually build throughout the track for a
tunnelling, late-night trip. Releasing solo for years on his self-titled
imprint, Amotik launched AMTK+ earlier this year to feature other artists via
split EPs, releasing music by Deluka, Arthur Robert, Decka, and himself
across the first two releases. With recent gigs at the likes of De School,
E1, Tresor, and opening and closing sets at Berghain, Amotik has firmly
cemented himself as a versatile and key player in modern Techno |

the same time, the Female Singer Ivy Claudy almost killed herself in her act
strangling herself with the microphone cable and screamed as loud that she
spit blood on the same time Buddy Fuzz wanked constantly his guitar
overdosing totally distorting and endless feedback they were so Negative and
creative the same time .. i t was defiantly way too much for the audience and
most of them left immediately except Us ... and they had to open the festival
anyways hahaha .. .. i was blown away of the energy the band has and the
complex personalities of the band members, so i send them to Lo Spider in

Brat pack crossover stars Charlie
XCX loved Altern 8 rave generation anthem FREQUENCY so much they not only
sampled it for the remix of their smash 365 but started their live shows with
the remix. The resulting renewed interest in FREQUENCY has led to four 2025
remixes of the gem which was originally released as a 10,001 numbered limited
edition in 1991. That sold out instantly and is now acclaimed as one of the
Rave scene’s most enduring classics. Altern 8’s Mark Archer links up with
long time collaborator Shadow Child for the A1 M.A.S.C Extended Remix which
delves into the tougher strata of House. A2 comes from Tenerife’s DJ Jonay
who delivers a stunning old skool influenced breakbeat mix. A3 is the Aires
remix. This was done especially for Altern 8’s appearance at Glastonbury and
various other summer festivals where IT WENT OFF! A4 Kin’s Back To 91 Remix
is full on drum & bass. Label artwork is a “tribute” to Charlie XCC
graphics - the samplers got sampled and repaid the compliment. Limited edition

Rock for Light is the second
full-length album by Bad Brains, released in 1983. It was produced by Ric
Ocasek of The Cars. We're proud to present the original mix of the album, for
the first time in decades, as the band originally intended. Most fans will be
more familiar with the 1991 reissue, which was remixed by Ocasek and bass
player Darryl Jenifer. In addition to new mixes, that version used an altered
track order. This reissue marks the fourth release in the remaster campaign,
re-launching the Bad Brains Records label imprint. In coordination with the
band, Org Music has overseen the restoration and remastering of the iconic
Bad Brains' recordings. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic
Mastering and pressed at Furnace Record Pressing |

Delta Funktionen returns from a
5-year hiatus with a fiery new EP on his own Radio Matrix label. Four
powerful, yet deep and somewhat dubby cuts that perfectly balance techno and
stronger house. With this new EP, Delta proves he's a unique voice in the world
of electronic music, one who maintains consistent quality in his output while
being very diverse in his sound palette. The music is often straightforward,
though there's still plenty of depth to be found. It's serious, yet very
playful. It's grounded, but also very spacey. And all is presented in very
solid mixdowns. All these ingredients combined make this an EP that will fit
perfectly into the DJ bags of the true DJ soldiers |

Sterns
Edits returns after the sell-out success of its debut edition with another
two catalogue reworks from Ben Gomori. This time he turns his attention to
Burkina Faso's much-loved taxi-driver-turned-singer, Amadou Balake. Balake
('porcupine' in Mandinka) is Burkina Faso's proudest musical export, and in
2013 he recorded his final album before passing away: 'In Conclusion'. The
record saw him revisit some of his most popular tracks from his remarkable
50-year career, backed by an eight-piece Burkinabe band who took the
country's traditional sounds and brought them into a contemporary light.
Gomori retains the essence of the original recordings - which were mostly
captured in one take - and marries them to vigorous afro-house stylings. 'Bar
Konon Mousso (Musicien C'est Pas Quelqu'un)', in which Balake tells of a bar
lady being unimpressed by his profession, gets a gentle push towards the
modern dancefloor, its wonderful sax lines resplendent. 'Massa Kamba' is
taken for a drive down the more traditional route, with commanding drums

"Ed
DMX has been part of Shipwrec since the label's inception. Under his DMX Krew
moniker, this analogue wizard has released four Eps and one LP on the
Nijmegen imprint. DMX Krew returns to Shipwrec for a brand new album, a
collection that displays yet another side of this sculptor's sound. Brutal
and cold, shadows are long and shades dark from the outset. Drum patterns
twist in tempo and intent, from hard and punishing to gentle and fragile.
Elements of breaks and industrial are also present in the percussion, this
fragmenting allowing deep and soulful melodies to counter the battery. In
fact, echoes of electronica permeate the harmonies across the LP such as deep
and divergent "Interrupt." No single style is adhered to. Instead,
the full palette of machine music is employed. From the squelchy Tudor
electrofunk of "I Wonder Why" to the melancholic braindance of
"Rephlections in Time", genre boundaries are given little credence.
Instead, Ed DMX draws on his decades of experience to create sounds that are
both familiar and completely one of a kind. The deep-sea dive of "Final
Comedown" is juxtaposed with the ambling calypso of "Dinosaur
Reaction", styles reimagined and reshaped to the creator's evolving
purpose. Echoes of the halcyon days of Rephlex permeate the 2LP. The
harshness and softness of the Cornwall imprint being present throughout,
those more subtle tones coming to the fore in the delicate beauty of the
"Phaser Level 2." A transcendent album and a certified future
classic. To accompany this very special release, there will be a limited
edition run with full cover art by Ruwedata. An artist very close to
Shipwrec's heart, Ruwedata was responsible for the sleeve work on DMX Krew's
Cosmic Awakening." |

Repetitive
Rhythm Research presents: FW25/26 The sound of the season? Or a
tongue-in-cheek reflection on fleeting trends? Techno has always moved in
cycles--styles fade in and out of focus, but true character stands the test
of time. As the genre enters its fourth decade, it's fascinating to see how
experimentation sometimes becomes formula, and how fresh ideas can either
break the mould or quietly slide into the mainstream. This new compilation on
Repetitive Rhythm Research explores exactly that tension. 12 tracks by 12
artists--ranging from rising talents to established names--each bringing
their own distinct approach. This isn't your typical 'cut from the same
cloth' compilation. It's a diverse journey through contemporary techno with
all its depth, quirks, and raw energy. From Marcel Dettmann's dark and spooky
slow-burner This Is a Test, to Peder Mannerfelt's forward-thinking Alternate
Current. Force Reaction dives into trippy terrain with Mysteries Unfolding,
while Sanna Mun and Dynamic Forces channel classic Detroit vibrations.
Section 6 (a well-known Dutch producer) and Sonic Propaganda (aka Earwax and
Rosati) deliver peak-time power. UFO95 takes you on an epic trip with
Apollo95, while Conrad Van Orton's Plaintive Drift operates in a lane of its
own--fast-paced, hypnotic, and emotionally rich. And then there's the
ever-consistent Jeroen Search, the fierce energy of Kerrie, and the
unmistakable sonic fingerprint of Aleksi Per?l?--each contributing to this
wide-ranging exploration of techno's current landscape. This Fall/Winter
25/26 release isn't just another techno compilation. It's a curated statement
that embraces contrast, personality, and forward momentum. Pick your
favorites. Revisit the outliers. Let the rhythms unfold |

Due to its extremely complex
history, Taiwan in the 70's saw the creation of some incredibly special music
in which the sounds coming at the moment from the west collided with the
special sensitivity of Taiwanese musicians, creating a delicious mixture you'll
need to hear to believe. "Taiwan Disco" shines a light on the music
created by Taiwanese women during those years (70's and early 80's) to
present a mind-blowing collection of songs with sounds ranging from wild Funk
to apace Glam, exotic Disco or fuzzed out Soul. Here's the ticket to some
crazy Taiwan nights, get those dancing shoes ready, it's time to shake it! |

Collection of rare recordings,
beginning with the previously unreleased `John Evan Band', the band's first
live incarnation, which performed almost exclusively covers of R&B
classics. Great examples are presented here, such as classics like `Hold On I'm
Comin'', `Respect' and more, all with Ian Anderson on lead vocals. The tapes
have been preserved and are presented here in their best quality. In
addition, on the B-side of this LP, we find other highly sought-after tracks,
such as an impressive and rare promotional version of MGM, `Sunshine Day',
Jethro Tull's debut single in 1968. On the record label, the band is credited
as Jethro Toe. The B-side, `Aeroplane', is their first published attempt at
venturing into the world of progressive rock. Later, with exclusive mono
mixes on 7" vinyl, the following singles by the now established band,
released on the Chrysalis label, complete this LP collection |

Featuring a young Don Henley (of
future stars The Eagles) on drums, alternative-country band Shiloh formed
while they were still at college in the late sixties. In 1969 they met Kenny
Rogers, who encouraged them to go to Los Angeles to record their self titled
debut. Album highlights are found in three magnetic roots-rock numbers
reminiscent of The Band: "Swamp River Country", "Left My Gal
In The Mountains" and "Simple Little Down Home Rock & Roll Love
Song For Rosie". While the three Henley-penned tracks - "I'm
Gone", "Same Old Story", "God Is Where You Find Him"
- would bear obvious resemblance to future Eagles material. A proto-Americana
masterpiece finally resurfaced! |

Clear vinyl. Numbered. Her first
for Chess, 1961's At Last! was a stunning comeback album for Etta James, with
hits 'All I Could Do Was Cry,' 'Trust In Me' and the title track bringing her
to both the pop and R&B charts in the USA. The varied approach brought
out the best in James, tackling Willie Dixon's 'I Just Want To Make Love To
You' as competently as her takes of 'Stormy Weather' and 'A Sunday Kind Of
Love,' and there are stirring originals co-written by Harvey Fuqua in 'It's A
Crying Shame,' 'If I Can't Have You' and 'My Heart Cries.' She's clearly at
the top of the peak throughout this beautiful record, which is easily one of
her very best |

When
we started our family group, The Staple Singers, we started out mostly
singing in churches in the south. Pops saw Dr. Martin Luther King speak in
1963 and from there we started to broaden our musical vision beyond just
gospel songs. Pops told us, "I like this man. I like his message. and if
he can preach it, we can sing it" So we started to write "Freedom
Songs," like "Why Am I Treated So Bad," "When Will We Be
Paid For The Work We've Done," "Long Walk To DC," and many
others. Like many in the civil rights movement, we drew on the spirituality
and the strength from the church to help gain social justice and try to
achieve equal rights. We became a major voice for the civil rights movement
and hopefully helped to make a difference in this country. It was a difficult
and dangerous time (in 1965 we spent a night in jail in West Memphis,
Arkansas and I wondered if we'd ever make it out alive) but we felt we needed
to stand up and be heard. So for us, and for many in the civil rights
movement, we looked to the church for inner strength and to help make
positive changes. And that seems to be missing today. Here it is, 2007, and
there are still so many problems and social injustices in the world. Well, I
tell you we need a change now more than ever, and I'm turning to the church
again for strength. With this record, I hope to get across the same feeling,
the same spirit and the same message as we did with the Staple Singers and to
hopefully continue to make positive changes. We've got to keep pushing to
make the world a better place. Things are better but we're not where we need
to be and we'll never turn back. 99 and 1/2 just won't do!' - Mavis |

Biarrezgaur (not tomorrow, today)
is a blissful and misty set of guitar tones entangled with effects and
reverberation. Dreamy and reflective proto-blues-folk sketches that suggest a
sense of matured serenity that only comes with years of practice. Spontaneous,
gentle and free-flowing in equal parts, Biarrezgaur is a perfect autumnal
recipe for those looking in the direction of Six Organs of Admittance, Loren
Connors with Alan Licht, or even Robbie Basho or Albert Gimenez if you listen
to the closing track Itzulera. Bidai (Trip) is the new collaborative project
between two emblematic figures of the rich Basque musical heritage, Xabi
Strubell & Mikel Vega. It took more than 30 years for their paths to
cross, but we are very pleased they finally did in 2022. Entirely improvised
with two guitars and effects, it was recorded at Bonberenea, the independent
and self-funded cultural hub housed in an abandoned warehouse in Tolosa (in
the valley of the river Oria) |

Tim Armstrong, guitarist and
frontman of Rancid, took a different path on his 2007 solo debut, with able
backing from L.A. reggae revivalists the Aggrolites, Armstrong crafted a
grooving, fun-filled modern reggae album, influenced by ska, rock steady, roots
reggae, and dancehall and filtered through a modern pop-punk attitude. The
sound of the record (nimble, jumpedup, and retro but fully modern) impresses
instantly, but as the record goes on, Armstrong's voice emerges as the star.
His raspy croon, staccato toasting, and ragged shout fit the reggae sound
surprisingly well |

Janey
& the Ravemen pick up the beat baton from where the legendary Kaisers
left off and deliver a sound so authentically 1964 it hurts. The Ravemen
include in their all star line up not one but two of The Kaisers founding
members alongside former members of The Rapiers & Fabienne Delsol. This
brand new and highly promising mixture produces a sound which will not
disappoint, British Beat at its finest. When listening to their sound it
becomes obvious these boys & a girl have the same American R&B
influences that the bands back in the day had. Think BERYL MARSDEN / LULU /
SANDRA BARRY backed by THE ROULETTES / SWINGING BLUE JEANS and you won't be
far wrong. Solid pounding back-beat with skilful, pure guitars, perfect
harmonies topped with the irresistible versatile female vocals compliments of
the 1st woman of beat Janey. Now the time has come for their very first album
STAY AWAY FROM BOYS to be issued (both as LP and CD) on SOUNDFLAT RECORDS! It
is a classic already, which should under no circumstances be missing in your
record collection. Lady Janey and her male support will take your breath away
with their excellent compositions and masterly covers. Among those you will
find a brilliant version of the song ,I just don't understand", known by
ANN MARGRET and THE BEATLES, and a cover of ,It's so right" by THE
SWINGING BLUE JEANS. STAY AWAY FROM BOYS is authentic 60's Beat in the manner
of Hamburg's Star-Club and will manage to charm each and every one of you |

These are often unplayed, sealed or barely played copies, but have been
stored in a humid environment. Some copies might have slight storage damage
like deformed sleeves or some mold. Even though a quick cleaning session of
the item (if needed) will probably make it as good as new, these are still
sold as is! 4 fantastic Trax taken from Hawkinsons first Album. The influence
of Detroit is all over this record and can be heard straight away, with
strings, melodies and soulful surfaces drawing you in immediately. Added to
that are the big fat pumping grooves, deep bass lines, chords and distinctly
clattering hi-hats and percussions that are at the heart of Hawkinson's sound |

Undefined somatic comfort. The
sudden plasticity of time. This record is a result of not needing much and
sometimes getting it, playing live here and there and, of course, lots of
work. On his third solo vinyl EP Stereometrix reveals a new, carefully developed
yet somewhat direct sound of which we suspected him for quite a while |

C.L.A.W.S.
comes to Dark Entries with a new ripping LP, Splat City II. C.L.A.W.S. is the
solo project of musical luminary Brian Hock, who has been a key figure in the
Bay Area underground for over two decades via his involvement in projects
like Bronze and The Vanishing, as well as helming the record labels Squirrels
on Film and Immortal Sin. With C.L.A.W.S., Hock takes on the dancefloor,
picking up cues from the Hague’s Giallo-dipped electro, the skewed minimalism
of Chicago acid, and the mind-rending forays of San Francisco post-punk icons
like Chrome and Tuxedomoon. Following 2019’s inaugural Splat City EP, Splat
City II continues to map the psychogeography of a metropolis both alien and
immediately recognizable, one where life is cheap, but so are the thrills.
Previously released on Squirrels on Film in digital-only format, this
expanded vinyl edition of Splat City II features two new cuts. Things kick
off with “Route 505” and “One Tear,” a duo of rompers that vibe like Tom
Ellard and Chip E locked in a room with a vial of liquid. Next up, Bay Area
deckmaster Tyrel lends his editing chops to “Vigilant Slimy Monsters,”
sculpting a moody space disco beast. Squirrels on Film co-founder Solar teams
up with Hock for “Black Magic Carpet Ride III,” a cavernous downtempo banger.
The slow-mo pace continues with “Wild Slugs United,” which features the no
wave-esque clarinet work of Paul Costuros. Closer “Don’t Flip the Crystal
Ship” pays homage to Bayview venue Bay Area 51 with melancholic strings and a
quartz-solid electrofunk bassline. Splat City II comes in a sleeve with
artwork by Bert Bergen, which features a vampiric cat and sci-fi cityscapes |

For the 34th split of the series,
we invited two of the best french projects of the contemporary electronic
underground scene. On the A-Side, Bloody Mary, resident at Tresor Berlin and
responsible of strong releases on Ovum Recordings, U-TRAX and of course her
own imprint Dame-Music. On the B-Side, the exciting duo Human Rebellion aka
HR101, already known for some killer EPs on Discos Atonicos, Science Cult or
Earwiggle. The result is a 4-tracks EP combining acid lines, rave synths,
90's voices, mental soundscapes and catchy techno! |

The futuristic proto junglism of
Coral continues. With work that's been in the pipes for quite some time,
Coral finally delivers an impressive 5 track EP made up of lush pads and deep
bass, accompanied by vicious stabs and heavy breaks. An EP aimed at both
dance floor and living room. To compliment this jam-packed release, the Dutch
hardcore master Tommy De Roos, also known as FFF, has taken one of the tracks
a step further down the rabbit hole with even deeper bass and a massive (!)
mantra to make all heads turn. Shout out to Dj Flight, Tim Reaper, Mantra and
all for the support |

Hailed
as "one of the finest ambient and dub techno albums around," Deep
Ground earned Purl a place in the hearts of many lovers of the deeper side of
electronica. Enthusiasts on Discogs describe it as "one of the best
dubtech albums ever - hypnotic, mesmerizing & deep" - and compare it
to luminaries like Biosphere and bvdub for its "warm deep calming sounds
and atmospheres." Reminiscent of Wolfgang Voigt's GAS project, the
seminal 2011 album by Purl (Ludvig Cimbrelius) is finally reborn in a
remastered 3xLP vinyl reissue on LILA ART. Originally released on the revered
Silent Season label based in British Columbia, this ambient techno
masterpiece has continued to captivate listeners year after year. In many
ways like a darker sister to 154's ethereal techno epic "Strike",
Deep Ground echoes the misty forests and quiet expanses of Cimbrelius' youth
in Sweden. As the artist reflects in a poem accompanying the release:
"We are consciousness, rooted in the deep ground of being. The deep
ground of being is where all things begin and end. The deep ground of being
is eternal." This ethos permeates every layer of Purl's expression;
crafting sonic sanctuaries that remain intimate while evoking the infinite.
Delicately remastered for vinyl by Giuseppe Tillieci (Neel) in collaboration
with Purl. Limited to 300 copies worldwide |

"Mary Yuzovskaya's Monday
Off rounds out 2025 with its eighth vinyl-only various artists compilation,
arriving 12th December, featuring Feph, Rasser, Mathys Lenne, and Xhato.
Opening the record is Florida's Feph, co-operator of Alchemista Records and
Zosimos, with 'A Realization', where wild electric currents crackle over a
subtle, sharp beat as shocks and zaps scatter into the darkness. Spanish DJ
and producer Rasser follows with 'Constant Pulse', a hulking techno chugger
of warped rhythms and hammering metallic hits. On the flip, France-born
Germany-based Mathys Lenne, known for outings on Mord, ORBE, and Blue Hour,
offers 'A Gentle Singularity', its tumbling percussion and drone-like synth
casting a hypnotic spell while sparkling high-end shimmers above. Previous
Monday Off contributor Xhato then closes with 'Lemon Swirl', a mystical
finisher where soft sequences snake through brooding ambience, providing a
guiding light as the kick drum marches resolutely." |

The beginning of a long journey
in search of all the small details we have been fortunate enough to encounter

series that Small Details Recordings is releasing, exclusively on vinyl. The
idea is to create a space where different artists can recount their research
through music. So, it's time to start the music and hear all the details and

With Decade of Boxes, Syntax
Error confronts the irony of modern tolerance: a societalimpulse to embrace
difference that often doubles as a mechanism to further categorize and
segregate. The EP's two originals delve into themes of self-perception
("The Meand I") and collective experience ("For All"),
while the remix package responds in variedways-each artist refracting the
idea of identity through their own interpretive lens |

Kucera
& Delayed Sentence Present the Analog Rhythms EP. Scrap & Delete
continues its trajectory as a home for uncompromising techno with the Analog
Rhythms EP. A collaborative release from Kucera and Delayed Sentence that
merges their respective strengths into a tightly honed four-tracker of
futuristic machine music. Opening cut "Analog Rhythms" sets the
tone with raw propulsion and hypnotic focus. Anchored by a driving low end
and jagged synth pulses, it balances grit with surgical control. A track
built for long blends and warehouse immersion. "Between Networks"
dials into a more kinetic space. Its interlaced groove patterns, off-axis
drum programming and haunting vocal grooves create a feeling of constant
shift, evoking unstable connections and digital interference while
maintaining absolute floor impact. On "Synthax," the duo lean into
sci-fi atmospheres. Bleeding-edge textures swirl through a thickly percussive
dancefloor orientated framework, creating a dark yet spacious momentum that's
equal parts cerebral and physical. Closing cut "Twisted Ankl3" is
the EP's most unhinged moment. A wonky workout full of broken signal bursts
and twitchy rhythmic grooves. It's a subtly evolving sequenced post-industrial
DJ tool, leaving dancers disoriented and locked in. With Analog Rhythms EP,
Kucera and Delayed Sentence showcase a shared vision rooted in sonic
discipline, hardware fluency, and unrelenting energy. This is
high-functioning techno at its most distilled. A perfect fit for Scrap &
Delete's refined catalogue |

Sciahri
and his label Sublunar are proud to present the second chapter of the
"Veil of Echoes" project, a continuation of a journey that connects
emerging and established artists from the label. Following the vision
introduced in the first volume, this release unveils a new dimension of
techno and electronic music, merging timeless roots with forward-thinking
sound design. The trip begins with "Voltages" by Cirkle, a sharp
and direct cut built for the floor, followed by "Tides" by Red
Rooms, an hypnotic journey driven by an entrancing vocal hook.
"Phonolith" by Border One brings a mental and groovy touch, while
"Basic Instinct" by Hemka stands out for its captivating
arrangement and refined sound design. The first record closes with "Your
Hands Forget Their Shapes" by Hadone, a truly memorable track destined
to stand the test of time. The second record opens with "The
Radius" by Temudo, one of his most acclaimed digital tracks now
available for the first time on vinyl, followed by "Etched" by
Hurdslenk, a powerful and driving piece of precision techno. Next comes
"Nardo" by Pierre, a modern, groove-heavy weapon with a distinctive
sound identity, and "Serpents" by Ketch & Alessio Landini, a
hypnotic and tribal tool for any moment of the set. Closing the journey,
"Zone 0" by Danya delivers a mystical and immersive ending that
transports the listener into another dimension. With "Veil of Echoes
II," Sublunar presents a visionary collection that captures the essence
of techno and electronic music, bridging its past influences with the sound
of the future |

led by guitarist seiji hano, the
jazz group om released only one album — solar wind, a landmark work that
stands as one of the greatest achievements in japanese ethnic jazz. now, this
masterpiece is finally being reissued. their sound, seemingly a response from
japan to ecm artists such as oregon and codona active during the same period,
is refined yet imbued with a distinctly japanese sense of wabi-sabi —
melancholic, nostalgic, and deeply resonant. from “windmill,” featured on
studio mule’s compilation midnight in tokyo vol.2, to every other track,
solar wind is a flawless album with not a single weak moment — a true
masterpiece of japanese jazz |

Samuel
Kerridge, with his signature sonic arsenal, stands alone in the worlds of
rhythm and noise. A singular artist, his music is to be appreciated on its
own terms. Here, he returns to James Ruskin's Blueprint Records with the
eleven track album, "Memoir Of Disintegration". The British
producer has been carefully turning techno inside-out for over a decade.
Taking a distinctly post-punk approach to the genre, he has become an
integral part of Regis' legendary imprint Downwards. Kerridge has helped to
define the label's contemporary sound: broken techno and snarling punk,
informed by industrial music and metal. Samuel Kerridge has released seven
EPs and five albums (including a collaboration with Dva Damas' Taylor Burch)
and his recent, "Kick To Kill", has become something of a statement
of intent, blossoming into a new label and event series with a focus that
broadens beyond techno tracks into full-blown song writing. Aside from his
solo work, he collaborates with OAKE in what he describes as the "power
metal techno" duo UF, and has recently started his own guitar band,
Death Disco. Kerridge ran the Berlin-based Contort label and party series and
curated the legendary Berlin Atonal festival for three years, underlining his
credentials as a stalwart figure in the world of experimental,
boundary-pushing techno. He's also an accomplished live performer, most
recently developing a hybrid live-DJ set that dismantles hundreds of tracks
into a sampler to make new music in real time. It's an inventive process that
places him in the lineage of iconic and ground-breaking techno acts, while
still carrying the flag for the darkest corners of underground electronic
music |

Trudge "First Session"
EP is a cohesive exploration of dark, bass-driven techno. The EP creates a
tense and immersive atmosphere where minimal elements, hypnotic breaks, and
futuristic synth textures converge into a raw yet emotionally charged sound.
Built for peak-time impact, it reflects Trudge's uncompromising vision of
techno, intense, powerful, and deeply emotive |

SAMA
strikes down with his fifth techno outing on Maximalist_Minimalist since the
opening of the label in 2022. The title track 'Phoneutria' is one of SAMA's
most favourite techno tracks, created from a desire to awaken people from
their hypnosis in a set and to create a highlight, rather than trying to
blend in. This semi broken-beat track is by far the most requested track in
SAMA's recent sets, and has been turning heads since the summer of 2023,
getting heavy early rotation from Rodhad and Rene Wise. Phoneutria is filled
to the brim with details, percussion and a heavy roaring bass demanding
attention. Right after being struck by the opener track's wall of sound, the
beatless 'A Last Speck Of Light' creates a soft, cozy space that invites the
listener into a state of stillness. 'A Last Speck Of Light' doesn't try to
take you anywhere, but is rather a moment suspended. A fragment of time that
simply is, asking nothing but presence. The B-side of MXMN005 is reserved for
the more functional tracks, without losing the intricacies of SAMA's
perfectionism. 'Silence Is For The Elite' is a modern track with crisp and
fun jittery sounddesign, built around a heavy groove. The last track of the
EP, 'Tiger Mosquito', is the most forward-pushing of the four, with a very
straight groove and dark, buzzing and almost aggravating textures and
atmospherics, hence the name. All in all, MXMN005 shows exactly why
Maximalist_Minimalist earns its name. Tracks ranging from extremely
minimalist and intimate to thunderous and filled to the brim with details.
Music that doesn't take itself too serious, and music that absolutely, and
proudly, does. The artwork, as always, has been painted by Argentinian
painter Julian 'Ric' Santesteban, showing a new colour palate for the first
time in the MXMN series, accompanied by 5 eyes for the fifth and maybe most
personal techno release to date for the label |

Om
Unit presents Acid Dub Versions III, the third set of remixes of material
taken from all three volumes of his legendary Acid Dub Studies album trilogy.
Taken together, all three Acid Dub Studies releases and their remix
companions have proven a highly influential series, and Om Unit’s
best-selling work by far. He’s toured relentlessly throughout the EU and the
US throughout 2025 presenting live versions of the material to consistently
sold-out crowds and overwhelmingly positive response from both longtime fans
and newcomers alike. The album celebrates the legacy of the acid dub project
with a high-caliber set of remixes. These include such prolific luminaries as
Daniel Avery, Satoshi Tomiie, Richard Fearless (Death in Vegas), Tadd
Mullinix (as Dabrye/Ghostly International) and Tilliander
(TM404/Mokira/Kontra-music). Portland-based dub generals Alter Echo and E3
(of BSI Records and ZamZam Sounds fame) and UK dance pioneer Bok Bok (Night
Slugs) join forces with newer faces like Beatrice M (Tectonic/Tempa),
Dubrunner (Menace), Azu Tiwaline (Livity Sound), N1_Sound (Spiritual World),
Krotone (Of Paradise/Challenger Deep), Piezo (Subaltern/Hundebiss), RS
Tangent (Trilogy Tapes) and lowkey noise/techno/ambient polymath
Misseterspoon (Avon Terror Corps). Each artist was given free reign to
interpret using material from anything from all three albums. The result is a
heady mixture of dubs from many angles, each one multi-faceted and
high-quality. The variety of approaches puts Acid Dub Versions III firmly in
the realm of legendary modern dub compilations as Macro Dub Infection and Box
of Dub. With the possibility of more acid dub in the works from Om Unit, Acid
Dub Versions III stands as a testament to the project's ongoing
evolution—bridging scenes, generations, and styles—and reinforces its lasting
influence on the trajectory of 21st century electronic music. This is
definitely one for the heads |

(Limited

sans retour forms the concluding part of Croene's 'Trilogy of Hopelessness'
(Cortizona). The piano recital/album sans retour forms the concluding part of
Croene's 'Trilogy of Hopelessness' (Cortizona). The overarching theme is the
sense of doom inherent in our responses to climate change. After the doomed
indulgence in nostalgia ('cul de sac', 2019) and the doomed yearning for
landscapes lost through climate change and human mismanagement
('solastalgia', 2022), he now presents 'sans retour': the doom of the
inevitably failed fantasy of escape. Six piano pieces serve as an in memoriam
for six fearless aviation pioneers who ultimately lost their lives in plane
crashes. The album opens with a sound recording of the communication between
Yuri Gagarin and mission control one minute before the launch of the first
manned space flight. At the end of Side A and the beginning of Side B,
excerpts from the conversation between Richard Russell and air traffic
control can be heard. Conceived as a single, Beethovenian composition, Croene
once again demonstrates the wide range of sound palettes a piano can produce.
The common thread is a melody based on the 'Dies Irae', which takes six
different forms to embody the in memoriam concept |

Ever
developing his evocative style and dynamic sphere of influence, ASC's latest
EP is afurther evolution of the atmospheric legend's repertoire that simply
cannot be missed. A1 - Everybody: ASC opens his latest Spatial EP in subtle
fashion, classic genre effects punctuating anunsettling intro before
deliciously crisp drums seize the stage and build continually with hi-hats
generating an urgency to the vibe. A series of micro melodies delivered
withtrademark technical flair float across stunning breaks, before a rousing
baseline caps off asuperbly evocative mix which delights the listener and
dancer in equal measure. A2 - Seconds To Midnight: Straight in with a
purposeful 808 bassline, ASC delivers another powerhouse display ofbreakbeat
fluency, jumping between chunky, juddery drum patterns with a choppedversion
of a lesser-used but very effective break sample last heard on ASC's very
ownclassic, Polaris. Epic vocal effects surround Seconds To Midnight with a
tense aura whilesuitably pitched strings and synth work are dusted liberally
throughout the piece. AA1 - Restless Dreams: Amen fans unite! ASC's love for
the most classic of breaks shines through once againwith an enthralling
workout for the ages. Introduced with eerie pad work and a solobassline, the
atmosphere is crafted through a plethora of pads and samples while theamens
thunder on with a detailed array of editing skills on show - thumping kicks
andsnares keep the energy levels high bar after bar leaving nothing in their
wake. AA2 - Core Memories: A gorgeous female vocal opens Core Memories, a
track which uses the classic breakfeatured on the first ever Spatial release,
Force Majeure. Here, a refreshing set oftechniques are on show from ASC as he
carves and chops the break to the tune ofcautious horns, highlighting the
serene yet uncertain backdrop to a wonderfully varied anddetailed collage to
close this distinctive and progressive EP from the label head. Words by Chris

Another YUKU classic in the
making: More introspective than some of Muskila's earlierwork, but still
heavy and rhythmic. One of the highlights is a collab with Aunty Razor, who
brings her powerful Yoruba rap energy into the mix; her flow cuts right
through thelow-end and adds a whole new dimension. The release also includes
remixes from Toumba and Hassan Abou Alam, who eachtook the tracks somewhere
else; warped, clubby, but still in line with the mood of theproject |
