is proud to invite Berlin-based Canadian artist Ryan James Ford for his
second appearance on the label, this time with a full 5-track EP of dark
tripped out dance floor weaponry following from their track on the second
Sardonic Tonality compilation as well as his huge album on Clone in 2021 and
an EP on Mama Told Ya earlier this year. The A1 launches with 'Lost In The
L.E.S.' with its threatening synth rising and falling alongside quick vocal
chops and rolling drum rhythms providing the perfect start to this collection
showcasing the murkier side of Ryan's production. The A2 continues on this
tip with 'Ekstase' - where distorted percussions and a cheeky scream sample
bounce off the sombre synthesiser programming in another slab of quirky 4-4
experimentation. The A3 closes the first side with 'Undertow (S02E05)', a
certified club banger making fine use of distorted kicks, bouncy rhythmic
work and dub-style synth stabs in another unique brain twister. On the flip
the B1 keeps things rolling with 'The Promise Of Money' - another peculiar
workout full of experimental textures, dusky synth melodies and charging
drums to keep feet moving. The B2 closes the record with 'Parllyster (92
Mix)', which takes a brighter turn with its euphoric melody and gravely bass
alongside punchy broken rhythms that quickly turn in to pounding
four-to-the-floor in this club-heavy offering from the Canadian producer |

Manitoba Uber Alles! Is it

A generous and off-the-track
psych-rock experiment, Space Hymns originally saw the light in 1971 on
influential UK company Vertigo, home of the most forward thinking prog bands
of the time. Enlisting the pure genius of the future 10 CC Kevin Godley (drums,
flute) and Lol Creme (lead guitar, synth), the band was ledby esoteric
frontman Ramases (aka Kimberly Barrington Frost). The vocalist had a vision
in the mind to late sixties where the Egyptian Pharaoh informed him he was

2018. Liquids are the brainchild of Indiana's Mat Williams, (also known for

This album has been called Wait's
long-lost masterpiece. Originally performed as an opera directed by Robert
Wilson for Hamburg-s Thalia Theatre in 1992, but left unrecorded until 2001.
The show ran for a year and a half using an unusual orchestra designed by
Waits to underpin the songs co-written with his wife Kathleen Brennen. Rather
than being directly based on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and Through
the Looking Glass, the Waits-Brennen Alice takes inspiration from feelings
remembered and dreams recalled after reading the books. Released

THE
ELECTRIC MESS have been known for their frantic 60's Garagepunk through their
dynamic live-shows and previous albums "The Electric Mess" and
"Falling Off The Face Of The Earth" on Groovie Records for a while
now and built up an incredible reputation. This band from New York proves an
immense amount of power and combines a lot of different influences like 60's
Garage, dirty Punkrock, Pop, Psych and the 80's Garagerevival-sound
perfectly, adding the strong, punky vocals of tough frontwoman Esther Crow
and thereby creating a unique and captivating sound. Compared to its
predecessors their brandnew LP "House on Fire" puts a bit more
focus on the 60's Garage sound with a more dominant organ-sound and thereby
fits right in the Soundflat Records-catalogue. This LP consists of wild, fast
Garagerock and with "Better To Be Lucky Than Good" it already
starts off with a cool, catchy track that has a tremendous energy. But it
doesn't stop to be as great; the song "House On Fire" features a
strong organ, a crazy guitar and dirty-sounding vocals by this energetic
singer; ,She's Got Something To Say" is an incredible hit with a
fantastic 60's Garage-sound that you'll find yourself singing along to
instantly. ELECTRIC MESS have a very versatile sound, so this album certainly
doesn't get boring: the vocals range from being very rough and punky in
"Lemonade Man" to softer sounding pop-influence in "Winding
Stairs" ; "There's Nothing You Can Do" is a male/female duet
that is more 80's influenced whereas "Every Girl Deserves A Song"
has a strong psychedelic influence. If you like tough and powerful 60's
Garagerock with a Punk-influence (such as for example ,Ray Daytona & the
Googoobombos"), you'll love THE ELECTRIC MESS and their mindblowing new

year after her rebirth on the 2.0 EP, Maedon returns to her Rant & Rave
imprint with the intentions of her previous release now distilled and focused
into bold new forms. Whereas before the artist was transitioning from her
earlier work towards new directions, Matter & Form arrives as an extended
concept piece featuring four variations on a bracing, developed sound, an
equally impressive remix from Lady Starlight, and a contrasting mix of the
opening track. Where 2.0 charted emergence, 'Entelechy I-IV' unites to
actualize this potential into a single-minded purpose behind fundamental
principles. Immediately launching into territory her last release only hinted
at, 'Entelechy I' is a showcase for her now-mature approach. Her rhythmic
dexterity and groove focus remains, with drum programs subtly evolving phrase
by phrase, but they now form the basis for layered, complex compositions in a
decidedly contemporary vein. 'Entelechy II' shifts focus towards the
arrangement while keeping its drums steadily driving, drawing attention to
details in its densely designed sounds through deliberate, gradual
processing. Relaxing the tempo slightly, 'Entelechy III' fills in the extra
space with more dark atmospherics and finely detailed soundscapes, finding a
heavy medium between dark ambience and hammering techno. Another deeper
effort, 'Entelechy IV' counterbalances insistent, finely-tooled percussive
bleeps and equally persistent bass figures against another sweeping bass
pulse, at times breaking down into carefully-controlled atonal aggression.
Lady Starlight's remix is skeletal in comparison, deploying its parts
sequentially over ticker hi hats and a massive kick while using small shifts
to incrementally build tension. 'Entelechy I (Bent Mix)' is more accurately
described as hellbent, stripping out the original's harmonic elements to
grind the heavy rhythmic workout against an unrelenting acid line |

Hype Stigma has been obliterating dance floors for me all summer! DJ
Friction, you wont believe your ears, simple as that. Noisia finally
unleashes one of the most furious, grimiest pieces of DnB that's graced raves
across the globe for the most part of 2008. Those DJs lucky enough to have
had a copy all say the same thing: "if you need to annihilate the dance
draw for Stigma." Kicking off with a lone plucked bassguitar you would
be forgiven for thinking you would popped on the wrong record but then the
Noisia production chirps in with a thick half-time break and ominous FX to
signal the start of something big. Dropping out to a niggling technoid synth
riff that worms its way out of the darkness, the kicks roll and the sickest
of drops bigger than the housing slump sends you to another planet. The
rising bass tone riff switching to the short stunted b-line edits is pure
madness and makes sure this is a standout track in any set without fail.
Crank continues the ruckus but sees the trio bringing things down a little
for a more subdued but no less devastating cut. It's a heads down roller
harking back to the techy Virus sounds of yesteryear with a bass that will have

In
the late summer of 1994, Upadhmanyia (John Mackaay & Michel Rehatta)
invited Leo Verhoef (LFU) to collaborate on a track. They met a few more
times afterward at a power station converted into a studio in IJsselstein,
The Netherlands. "Hasiya" was quickly born and was already in
stores by early November 1994. John & Leo drove to house club iT in
Amsterdam, where they gave the track to DJ Marcello, resulting in an iT hit!
The track was quickly picked up by DJs worldwide, and Richie Hawtin used it
in a live set in Denver on November 19th of that year, which can be heard on
SoundCloud (Hasiya is mixed around 43:00). The track was also a huge hit on
dance floors in England and Spain. In late 1994, Hasiya appeared on a CNR
Music EP titled "Welcome To The Club," along with four other hits
from producers like Pete Lazonby, The Shaker, and Drum Club. A double CD of
the same name followed in early 1995, released in Belgium, featuring Hasiya
alongside artists like Robert Miles, Digital Express, Aura, Natural Born
Grooves, and other hits of the era. In early 1995, Arcade released
"House Party '95 the Kinky Klubmixx," mixed by Koen Groeneveld
& Addy van der Zwan. The same CD was released in Scandinavia as
"House Party '95 (5)." Hasiya flourished among the most popular
house tracks of the time. The record spent three weeks in the Dance Music
Mega Top 30 and peaked at number 22 around the holidays of late 1994. For 31
years, Hasiya was only available on record, CD, tape, or YouTube. Starting
November 21, 2025, it will be resurrected from the underground into the world
of digital downloads and streaming. The 2025 Remaster, along with five new
mixes, will be widely available, including a limited vinyl release of 350
copies. The 30 test pressings have already been received with open arms by
various DJs and received immediate support from Eris Drew and Octa Octa
during ADE. Because Hasiya was created in 1994, the only available remix
material is the original DAT tape, which, thankfully, was still stored in an
old box in a dusty attic. Most of the sounds for the new versions have been
recreated and re-recorded. Rehatta's Reanimated Mix: This remix - created by
one of the two founders of Upadhmaniya - combines driving, percussive beats
with a thrilling, progressive break featuring ascending, dizzying strings.
This trick returns shortly afterward to rev things up again. An accessible
remix for dance floors worldwide. LFU 2025 Version: This straightforward, raw
techno version with a touch of acid is ready to rock dance floors. LFU's
updated version of the 1994 original, which he created with Michel &
John, will undoubtedly remain a head shaker from here on out. John
Consemulder Metaphysical Mix: With a pumping groove and a funky bassline as
an intro, John Consemulder's remix immediately strikes a chord. A refined and
elegant approach to the original, with sounds as mysterious and exciting as
the flowing lava in the 'Gruta das Torres' - a cave in the Azores - the
setting where this tech-trance remix was created. Davje Remix: Davje's
version begins with the typical club and hard-trance bassline of the late
'90s. You're drawn into a trance journey where beat changes sometimes try to
throw you off track. Davje's creative Hammond organ interpretation of the
Hasiya theme surprises and transports you back to the hippie era by the end
of his remix. Bojcot Remix: Junglist Bojcot creates an exciting, nuanced, and
mathematical remix with a beat that feels like jungle and half-tempo. He
conjures up the sounds of LFU's 2025 Version, creates a bassline that sounds
like a disturbed bumblebee, and adds a surprising string section. Massive! |

Douglas and Sharon Stone. For his second collaboration with director Paul
Verhoeven (after TOTAL RECALL) Jerry Goldsmith composed one of his most
famous and iconic scores_atmospheric and sensual, elegantly orchestrated,
with a memorable main theme reminiscent of Bernard Herrmann. At the time of
the film's release, Varèse Sarabande issued a 45-minute CD produced by
Goldsmith himself_a great presentation of the score's highlights. This new
vinyl release presents the full 70+ minute score, with correct edits and
original cue titles presented in film order, and "An Unending
Story" as heard in the film. The music was recorded in London with Jerry
Goldsmith conducting The National Philharmonic Orchestra. Produced by Neil S.
Bulk and Bruce Botnick, and specially remastered for vinyl from the original
digital tapes by Mr. Botnick with lacquers mastered by Bernie Grundman, this
premiere LP edition has been pressed in 180 gram black vinyl. Presented in a

Returning
for his third solo album on Spatial, Aural Imbalance continues his journey
through the cosmos with a breathtaking array of breaks, bass and inimitable
ambient wizardry. A1 - Fading Reality: Kicking off the album we are treated
to a blissfully ambient intro akin to a perfect sunrise across a tranquil
unfurling landscape - just as we have come to know and love from Aural
Imbalance. Long, airy washes of textured pads usher in a fantastically snappy
break pattern which brings an alluring energy to proceedings, driving the
track along with funnels of tuneful melodies lazily drifting by in the
ambience. A2 - This Time: Jumping right into the breaks DJ-style with a
delicious Hot Pants pattern, This Time's central theme utilises a hypnotic
simple but effective chime melody that plays a key role throughout the track,
alongside fluttering birdsong and a luscious array of samples. The exquisite
breakdown which delights with an incredible blend of bass atmospheric synths
& pads is both beautiful and poignant. B1 - Always With You: Introduced
by what sounds like footsteps echoing through the darkness, Always With You
lives up to its title by surrounding you with a warmth usually reserved for
arriving home and nestling by the fire. Driven by delicate but vibrant
breakbeats, this track showcases Aural Imbalance's relentless dexterity with
ambient soundscapes dancing in perfect harmony with deep 808 bass and old
school beats. B2 - Solarity: Lightly excitable hats and elegantly filtered
breaks open Solarity, a deeply evocative track with breakbeats rising through
the intro towards a drop with solid analogue kicks and a wonderfully deep and
persistent bassline. Sporadic micro melodies cruise the waves of floating
synthwork, effects rippling gently in the foreground and background of the
mix like playful phosphorescence. C1 - First Protocol: Up next we see Aural
Imbalance crack the amen knuckles with a real treat for old school heads - an
ambient, synthy ambient laden with incredibly light spaced-out hats through

Continuing his showcase of breaks from across the atmospheric drum & bass
spectrum, Aural Imbalance introduces Velarious with a quietly epic ambient
flow, with filtered drums creeping in before the drop arrives, breakbeats

or "flowering haze," is a Japanese term that poetically describes
the smoky, blurred appearance of numerous cherry blossoms visible from a
distance. This image is often compared to a floral mist or fog. Through this
word, the Japanese convey the visual effect created by a large number of
flowers forming a soft, diffused, and ethereal picture. Such a description
beautifully resonates with the musical palette of the new release.
Introducing the long-awaited album Agera by the mysterious musician Jon'Smu.
The record combines elements of classic deep house and ambient music,
creating a unique atmosphere and the author's distinctive signature. The
album features 8 stunning tracks, carefully selected and compiled into a
cohesive story. A few words from the author: "This album, spanning a
vast timeline of creativity, is about how important and interesting it is to

Recorded
at the same time as I and Then C93 were channelling Swastikas For Noddy,
Imperium was the BackSide GrimStory to the Bright ’n’ Breezy (Locust)
SummerTime Whistles of Swastikas For Noddy. I was very ill whilst making both
records, and my main memories (along with Speed And Vodka, ThankYou,
ThankYou) were lying sick on a grimy couch at the long-gone IPS Studios in
Shepherd’s Bush. There was a heavy leak in the kitchen and the water was
running over the studio floor and up my distressed, distressing leather jeans
(with button-fly) and Into My Very Soul. Remastered from the original tapes
by The Bricoleur at Bladud Flies!, and with the original artwork refreshed
and reborn by Rob Hopeye, this 12” vinyl picture-disc comes in a full-colour
die-cut sleeve, which is printed on both the outside and inside. This is one
of the second group of 4 reissues of the entire back catalogue of C93 on
picture-disc and standard vinyl, in the lead-up to the publication of my
autobiography at the end of 2026, whilst I also work on many other recording,
publishing, and painting projects, and Watch And Pray! Each release in the
picture-disc vinyl reissues series is limited to 1,000 copies, and the titles
will not be repressed as picture-discs once they have sold out |

this new chapter, Blackwater Label presents an EP exploring the frontier
between ethereal, electronics and sonic horror. Two tracks move like
ambiguous presences, evoking atmospheres suspended between dream and
nightmare, body and shadow. "Hypnoptera" is a journey through dense
textures, oblique frequencies and subtle pulsations that seep into the
listener, keeping alive the tension typical of the label's most radical
productions. A work that does not seek comfort, but disorientation: a sonic
ritual digging into the dark matter of imagination. The A-side opens with
"Gomma", a sonic mass that deforms, viscous and elusive. Gomma
moves through dry hits and elastic reverbs, a living organism mutating at
each beat. The atmosphere oscillates between tribal and industrial, like a

FUNKTHEPOPULATION is the debut
record by Yablochko Zelenoe, released in July this year on the
California-based label Dionysian Mysteries. The visual aspect of the release
was brought to life by AI-artist and designer Alyona Pustobaeva. Old-school
breakbeat and big beat rooted in the British sound of the '90s. The release
is soaked in disdain for the surrounding world, serving ideologically as an
ode to independence and carefree rebellion - a truly mischievous, streetwise
sound |

‘The Jamaican Recordings
Allstars’ have gone back to the Reggae heydays of 1968 / 1969 as a strong
influence on their snappy instrumental track. The flash points of Harry J
Allstars ‘The Liquidator’ and Dave and Ansell Collins ‘Double Barrel’ come to
mind. No reggae 7” single would be the
same without its version b-side, so please flip the single over for part two
where the beat is pulled up to the fore. Hope you enjoy rocking to this

Christmas came over two different Xmas’s for the punk connoisseur. The first
back in 1977 when the Sex Pistols took themselves up to Huddersfield to play
a gig for the firemen but also as they arrived in the afternoon a gig for the
local kids. After much cake throwing and high jinks and with the kids all
cleared out the Pistols played the evening show for the adults. This it would
turn out to be the Sex Pistols last show in England, as they went to America
in January 1978 and imploded. That as they say is another story. The second
Christmas Punk bonanza took place in London’s Ladbroke Grove area when The
Clash, possible inspired by the Sex Pistols previous Xmas gig, decided to
play their own Xmas gig in 1979 on Christmas Day at The Acklam Hall. The
added bonus was they also played at the venue on Boxing Day. So there you
have it the two biggest punk bands giving two xmas treats to their fans. To
celebrate these festive treats Mal-One has written two songs to celebrate
both events and dubbed up both versions for this Maxi-12” special. He has
also provided two sleeves a Sex Pistols sleeve 250 copies and a Clash sleeve
250 copies plus a signed print in each. As they say what more could you want
in your xmas stocking. Ho Ho Ho and a punky rocking happy Xmas to you all |
