Stronger
Than Fiction EP' is a result of investigating sounds and information while
channeling techno in an oldschool manner. Arising from sheer call and
response strength and folded into a no-nonsense, momentum-feeling arrangement
approach rather than considered thought. Designed to push things off the rail
a bit long after sunset and far from dawn |

"In
the beginning there was Jack... And Jack had a groove." We know this old
tale pretty well. But what do these words really mean? And does this meaning
even exist nowadays? Our fellow musician and sound researcher Stas
Sharifullin, known as HMOT, presents his report Jack Studies in the form of a
release on the Instrument, Gost Zvuk sublabel. Formally, it is a reissue of
his single Prolegomena to Home Music Ontology, released in 2017 on Cyland.
But these old tracks have been expanded, remastered by Rupert Clervaux and
complemented by the two new ones. HMOT originally prepared the tracks on Jack
Studies for release on Gost Zvuk, so these instrumentations are finally
coming home after a long journey. Context is everything - and in the new environment,
this music speaks even louder. Originally, house music was associated with
HIV/AIDS activism and the fight against racial oppression, among other things
- and this was completely lost in translation in Russia. House was stripped
of its political and symbolic potential, and Jack Studies tries to show how
the context is slowly fading from our memory. But it's not just an
observation. It's a tool of light intrusion that the author has already
tested in his DJ sets. Once, he says, he played Instrumentation IV (Encore)
for eleven minutes at the Kantine am Berghain. Now that we are finally
talking about Western and Eastern ways of making it in music, Jack Studies is
more relevant than ever. You can see it not only as a joke said louder this
time, but also as a critique of modern house music. You can also see it as a
reflection on our strangeness to house music and how we can interpret it in
our own way; as Sharifullin astutely suggests, as home music. He sees no line
between tragedy and comedy, citing the plays of Samuel Beckett as the root of
Jack Studies' irony. "They are funny and somber at the same time. To me,
this release is sad, but the music here is joyful." Home music is the
paradox. But it is also the beginning of something new. And in the beginning
there was... what? Jack Studies has an answer |

Part of the St. Petersburg
underground for more than a decade now, Hoavi (Kirill Vasin) has released on
labels around the world since debuting with Cyclones in 2013. With Phases, he
joins the Gost Zvuk roster and builds on his previous ventures into ambient
and dub inspired house with a six track mini-album that channels elements of
his Phobia Airlines LP. The general atmosphere is built through industrial
sound design, moving from quick-fire broken beat and woozy downtempo into
rhythmic noise and abstract reductivism. The whole thing collides to form a
sort of futurist, machinic statement that relies more on rhythm and
percussive synth work than the balancing of melody, seeing the artist hone in
further on physical modelling synthesis and computer-generated textures. This
mission statement only adds to the inescapable sci-fi aura at work, with
Hoavi providing a fresh take on the kind of zones explored by luminaries such
as Best Available Technology, Vainqueur / Hallucinator and odd moments of The
Flashbulb |

Cestrian (aka Ali Renault) lands
on Mechatronica for the Berlin label's 10th release with a remarkably wide
electro-driven EP, exploring different rims of the genre from the
transporting melodic peripheries and weirder edges, to the raw core. Two
hypnotizing journeys in "Gradients" and "Rake &
Pikel" make up the A-side along with the frenzied styles of "Cat
Strain". "Speak & Spell" blasts open the flip with an
anthemic groove and potent basslines, before "The Weir" rounds off
the EP in heavy and atmospheric fashion, concluding an essential electro
record - for the mind and for the floor |

After
much critical acclaim for their new material and months of successful tour
dates, FACE TO FACE tie a bow on their 25th year together with the re-release
of their first 3 albums (Dont Turn Away, Big Choice, Face to Face). The
releases that originally put FACE TO FACE on the map and set them up as a
household name in the melodic punk world are now once again readably
available. This time around each album has an expanded track list containing
bonus songs from the original recording sessions. All 3 have also been
remastered and boast enhanced artwork that incorporates silver details to
denote the 25th anniversary. The bands sizable vinyl collecting contingent
have reason to celebrate, as both Big Choice and Face to Face have been out
of print since their original extremely limited pressings (Big Choice was
actually never available to the buying public, only as a rare promotional
item) and both will finally be available again. These deluxe re-releases are
the perfect nod to 3 absolutely classic albums that not only cemented FACE TO
FACEs place among the punk rock elite, but influenced legions of fans and
helped to define the genre |

Over
the course of their more than 20 year career, NO USE FOR A NAME amassed an
impressive catalog of albums packed with hit songs. From their debut Fat
release The Daily Grind almost 25 years ago, to their final studio album The
Feel Good Record of the Year in 2008, NUFAN has and always will be a Fat
Wreck staple. Along with their massive catalog of classic originals, NUFAN
has always been keen to a good cover song. You can find a handful of them on
various comps, and 2001's Live In A Dive. But there is more... so much more.
We have combed through NUFAN's entire recording archive to bring you a
collection of every non-album cover song ever recorded. Rarities Vol. 1: The
Covers has a bunch of tracks the die-hard NUFAN fans will be familiar with,
but many more rare tracks which have been buried for decades. From KISS, to
THE MISFITS, to DEPECHE MODE, to CHEAP TRICK; NUFAN can put their stamp on
just about any genre. They even covered "The Munsters" and
"Leverne & Shirley" theme songs. No Shit. Move aside Gimmes,
There is a new cover band in town. As the title suggests, stay tuned for the
release of Vol. 2 in the near future |

Mattias Alkberg, musician,
songwriter, and poet, of legendary The Bear Quartet, released his first
album, Tunaskolan, with the band Mattias Alkberg BD in 2004. The album was
recorded in the Music-A-Matic studio in Gothenburg and produced by Björn
Olsson. "When we did Tuna School, especially when we rehearsed it, I was
so happy to have cracked that Lou Reed code, the way he played on Can't Stand
It Anymore and Foggy Notion. If there's anything I feel I've done that has
any kind of meaning it's that chopping white comp." The record was
praised by media and was chosen as the best record of 2004 by the magazine
Sonic. After 20 years, this classic album is finally released on vinyl |

briefly split between England and Scotland, and should be one of 2020's most

Quartet
Records, in collaboration with Paramount Pictures, presents the premiere
vinyl edition of the actual film tracks composed and conducted by Henry
Mancini for BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S, the landmark, bittersweet romantic comedy
directed by Blake Edwards in 1961 and starring Audrey Hepburn, George
Peppard, Patricia Neal, Martin Balsam, José Luis de Vilallonga and Mickey
Rooney. What more can you say about BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S that hasn't
already been said? It is one of the most iconic films in the history of
cinema, and that's just from the first five minutes of the movie: Audrey
Hepburn, Hubert de Givenchy's Little Black Dress, Tiffany's jewelry, and the
longing strains of "Moon River." Iconic images and iconic music.
The music is perhaps Henry Mancini's most famous score, awarded two Academy
Awards (for Best Original Score and Best Original Song ["Moon
River"]. It is the quintessence of his style, as well as the music and
lifestyle of the sixties. The movie, its aesthetics and its music marked an
era. As was customary in the sixties and during his contract with RCA,
Mancini recorded a legendary album with a selection of cues specially
arranged for listening pleasure. This album has been available continuously
for more than sixty years, and it is impossible to count the number of
reissues around the world, as well as the countless covers that singers of
all nationalities and styles have recorded of "Moon River." But the
original version, the one heard in the movie, the magnificent and clever
underscore, or "Moon River" itself, performed by Audrey Hepburn,
was not released until Intrada found the masters in the Paramount vaults and
released the actual score on CD, for which we will never be able to thank Douglass
Fake and his team enough. The new vinyl boom has given us the irresistible
opportunity to release the original score on a luxurious double LP, with all
the music, the dramatic score and the source music_music to love, to cry, to
dance and to be moved by. Remastered and restored by Chris Malone from the
bottom up from the original masters courtesy of Paramount, this white double
vinyl includes a gatefold jacket and a separate booklet with liner notes by
Jeff Bond and stills from the movie |

Returning after four years, Los
Angeles indie-pop band Massage unveil Coaster, a luminous 10-track album
steeped in melodic depth and emotional honesty. Widely recognized for their
infectious pop sensibility, the five-piece-Andrew Romano (guitar, vocals),
Gabi Ferrer (keyboard, vocals), Alex Naidus (guitar, vocals), David Rager
(bass), and Natalie de Almeida (drums)-approach the turbulence of adulthood
through shimmering pop songs that capture both nostalgia and growth. Drawing
inspiration from The Cure, Big Star, Echo and the Bunnymen, and The Go-
Betweens, Massage now transcend their influences, offering a sound that's
uniquely their own. Coaster is a testament to the band's evolution-embracing
the "inbetween," writing pop songs that linger |

Eternity's Children self titled
was released in 1968 on Capitol sublabel Tower Records, during the heyday of
the hippie revolution. After touring with Strawberry Alarm Clock, the Seeds
and the Blues Magoos, the band released their most successful single "Mrs.
Bluebird" who reached #69 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their sunshine pop
was clearly informed by west-coast influences and folk revivalist, but ended
up offering a new take on the psychedelic revolution |

Color vinyl. The Damned are best
known for spearheading British punk, but their catalogue reveals a surprising
depth_full of melodic, harmonic and rhythmic sophistication shaped by
psychedelia, prog, classical and cinematic influences. With drummer Rat Scabies
now back in the fold, the current line-up echoes the one that crafted many of
these formative works_alongside long-standing keyboardist Monty Oxymoron.
Monty has played with the band since 1996, contributing both performance and
songwriting. Before that, he performed with Captain Sensible and Dr Space
Toad, and also worked as a psychiatric nurse trained in art psychotherapy.
His solo output_under his given name Laurence Burrow_is as unpredictable and
imaginative as his background suggests, spanning free improvisation,
experimental electronics, and outsider pop. Based in Brighton, he shares his
music via Bandcamp and YouTube, and explores wider ideas on his Substack page |

Tired of waiting for a
compilation of the wildest and most hilarious punk-leaning music of the '60s?
Yes, you may have already been taught a lesson by mediocrity and endless
volumes. Well, the wait is over. Here we present 19 atomic bombs from
wonderful Mexico with doses of lysergia, frat, go-go, and, yes sir, punk.
Just when you thought everything was discovered and handled, it's refreshing
to find such a bath of teen spirit and desire to explode like those included
in this magnificent compilation from the Pinche label. Songs that have never
sounded so good have been captured from the original tapes... wooo. And yes,
there's a version of the Seeds, an ode to LSD, song to Existentialism_
Instrumental to Beer_ and not one but two Trashmen covers... |

New press on vinyl after 12 years
from the first Ripping Storm reissue, and this time also on CD. Nausea from
L.A. formed in 1987 from the ashes of Majesty and sharing two members with
Terrorizer. Oscar Garcia eventually recorded Terrorizer's classic "World
downfall" Lp, but Nausea didn't break up, thus unleashing another death
metal/grindcore instant classic originally released in 1991 by Wild Rags. 500
copies on stubborn black vinyl, upgraded graphic layout to make it basically
identical to the original European press down to small details, jacket on 350
grams cardboard, 4 pages insert (as in the original US press), outer plastic

GIMP FIST celebrating their 20th
anniverary and here's their birthday present: sold out for over 10 years here
are the first three (official) releases available again as special
collector's editions: "Your Time Has Come", "The Place Where I
Belong" & "Marching On And On" each include a rare bonus
track now, and come as 180gr colorued splatter vinyl! Each coloured edition
is limited to only 233 copies! With their 2008 album, "Your Time Has
Come," Gimp Fist quickly made a name for themselves in the punk and

energetic, melodic street punk anthems spoke for itself and hit the spot.
Songs like "Skindeep," the Clash-esque "More War
Stories," and "Whatever Happened" are rightly considered
milestones of UK punk rock in the new millennium. Happy 20th birthday Jonny,

HAVEN
co-founder Keepsakes is finally back on his own imprint with 5 fresh
originals filled to the brim with warped alien sound design, driving and
grooving drum rhythms, and acerbic track titles fresh out of a twisted
after-hours chat. Following on from releases in recent years on KAOS/OAKS,
Turbo Recordings, Perc Trax, and Boys Noize Records, this latest EP maintains
his signature toughness alongside his fun and quirky sound choices while
taking his sound further in to jacking and groovy territory. The EP launches
with 'Vocoding Your Nan Out Of Existence' on the A1 - full of growling and
tortured alien vocoder melodic experimentation combined with driving funky
drum work and organic atmospherics, this slab of freaky techno weight is
aimed directly at the most debauched of dance-floors. 'Get To Know It In The
Flesh' follows up on the A2 with rolling, grooving rhythms and dramatic
string stabs alongside outlandish synth melodies, looping vocals and eerie
creatures lurking in the background. On the flip 'Ready2BeginWot?' gets
things jacking with swinging rhythmic funk and and ear-worm repeating vocal
line in a fast house-inspired slammer. 'Hollow And Suited' follows on the B2
with its tribal driving drum work and mutating resonated vocals sitting alongside
debased synth melodics for the most haunted club creatures. Finally, 'Corvid
House' closes out the record with its swung and grooving drum loops, bird
call sound effects, vocal hooks and euphoric pad bliss to finish off another
plate of dance-floor degeneracy |

Assemble Music welcomes XDB for
his first appearance on the label. Born and based in Germany with Greek
roots, XDB (Kosta Athanassiadis) has been deeply involved in electronic music
since the early 1990s. Known for his broad musical vision and refusal to be
boxed into a single style, XDB has built a reputation through both his
carefully curated DJ sets and hardware-driven productions. His sound draws
from raw Detroit traditions, dub techno and deep house, favouring analog
textures and stripped-back machine funk. On this three-track EP, XDB explores
the darker edges of house and techno, blending classic Detroit influences
with raw analog production to deliver a focused and uncompromising statement.
With releases on respected imprints such as Sistrum, Ferox and Dial Records,
this debut on Assemble Music feels perfectly placed and essential |

Kerrie makes a welcome return to
Sync 24's CE camp, with "Waves of Reverie PT1" dropping in March on
Cultivated Electronics. It follows her two part "We Continue" vinyl
12"s, on sister-label Cultivated Electronics Ltd back in 2021.
Irish-born, Manchester-based Kerrie is a multidisciplinary artist and
resident DJ at Tresor Berlin. She performs live sets, produces music, DJs and
runs her own label, Dark Machine Funk, as well as an extensive discography on
the likes of Tresor, Blueprint Records, Don't Be Afraid, Cultivated
Electronics, I Love Acid and Symbolism. On her new EP, "Waves of Reverie
PT1" Kerrie once again channels a distinctive electro aesthetic rooted
in acid and electro traditions but filtered through her own raw,
industrial-leaning production style. A staple for fans of analogue
hardware-driven electro and forward-thinking electronic music |

Blue
Hour distills over a decade of artistry into his debut album Selva,
unearthing eight tracks inspired by ancient wisdom and forgotten worlds. Blue
Hour is the moniker of Luke Standing, a multifaceted artist, producer, and
label owner navigating between past and present electronic dance music. Over
more than a decade, Standing has built a career balancing transformative
craft with a sharp curatorial approach, earning him respect across the global
scene. After years of sonic experimentation, he now releases his debut LP
Selva. “I never set out to make an LP – it just wrote itself,” he says. “I
followed my intuition, and the music found its own path.” Born and raised in
the UK, Standing grew up in parallel with club culture, moving between
Brighton, Bristol and Berlin while running club nights and establishing
himself under former aliases Furesshu and Esoteric. He launched his Blue Hour
project in late 2013, shortly after relocating to Berlin. Initially a
platform for his own music, Blue Hour quickly became a collaborative hub,
blurring the lines between personal output and curation. Over time, Standing
has cultivated an international ecosystem of like-minded artists while
continuously expanding his own sonic horizons. Selva marks his first full-length
studio album, weaving a lifetime of influences into a cohesive narrative
inspired by ancient wisdom and forgotten worlds. The eight-track double LP
transforms his inner dialogue into a subconscious story pulling inspiration
from a labyrinthine network of influence and experience. “I followed the
music obsessively, reflecting and refining until the story revealed itself,”
Standing explains. “To me, the LP evokes Amazonian or Mayan jungles, themes
of exploration, the mysteries of the natural world, wisdom passed down
through generations. I didn't set out to write about these things
consciously, they just emerged on their own.” he adds. The album was shaped
through intensive work in his studio and periods spent in subtropical
locations. Listening closely, Selva unfolds like a modern ceremony: the
opening tracks channel his early UK dance influences, shifting into blends of
traditional and contemporary techno, then expanding into melodic soundscapes
before concluding with transcendental textures and atmospheres. The result is
an introspective journey where functionality and emotive storytelling
coexist, revealing a depth in Blue Hour we haven’t heard before. Whether
performing, curating, or producing, Standing operates with a deep commitment
to sound, culture, and collaboration. More than an artist, he is an
architectural thinker of what electronic music could become. “Every release
is my own metamorphosis,” he says. “This LP reflects my current form, and I’m
curious to see what the next chapter brings.” Few artists can unify a
lifetime of genre-spanning influences into a sound as sharp and focused. On
Selva, Blue Hour does exactly that, opening a new era of deeper immersion
from his Berlin-based label |

Xerrox
Vol. 1 is the third studio album by German electronic artist Alva Noto. It
was released in 2007 as part of the ongoing Xerrox pentalogy, based on the
concept of digital replication of source material. Using the process of
copying as a basis, the Xerrox series deals with the manipulation of data
through endless reproduction. Due to the inherent fallacy of making copies
from other copies, everyday sounds become so altered that they are hardly
associated with their source material. As a result, entirely new sounds are
created: copies of originals become originals themselves. Together with
Christoph Brünggel, Nicolai designed a "sample transformer" that
takes audio fragments and manipulates them beyond recognition. In this
process of taking something familiar and defamiliarizing it, samples from
obvious sources-advertising jingles, airport tones, telephone hold music, and
film soundtracks-were used and altered, resulting in sounds totally unlike
their original source. The result is a series of haunting, intricately
realised pieces that recontextualise Nicolai's "glitches and bass"
sound into extended, cinematic, organic, and almost orchestral works. Xerrox
Vol. 1 was followed by Xerrox Vol. 2 (2009), Xerrox Vol. 3 (2015), Xerrox
Vol. 4 (2020), Xerrox Vol. 5 (2024). This remastered version will be reissued
on NOTON in 2026 |

Xerrox Vol. 2 is the sixth studio
album, released in 2009 by German electronic artist Alva Noto. It is the
second installment of the Xerrox penthalogy, based on the concept of digital
replication of source material. As with the first Xerrox album, the starting
point is a set of samples culled from external sources. This time, snippets
and recordings from Sunn O))) collaborator Stephen O'Malley and composer
Michael Nyman are featured, as is an excerpt from the 2004 Insen tour with
Ryuichi Sakamoto. While Alva Noto's oeuvre is predominantly affiliated with
pristine sound design, the Xerrox series holds more intimate gestures and
emotional sensibility. This volume moves further from the conceptualism and
orderliness of prior musical outputs, ranging from heart-warming elegies to
mind-bending sci-fi projections in extrasolar territories. This remastered
version will be reissued on NOTON in 2026 |

Xerrox Vol. 3 is the eighth solo
studio album by German electronic artist Alva Noto, released in 2015 as part
of the ongoing Xerrox penthalogy, which began with Xerrox Vol. 1 (2007) and
Xerrox Vol. 2 (2009). Inspired by formative influences such as Andrei
Tarkovsky's 1971 film Solaris, La Isla Misteriosa y el Capitán Nemo by Juan
Antonio Bardem, and Henri Colpi, Carsten Nicolai exchanges austerity for
cinematographic lushness in the remarkably widescreen third volume of his
Xerrox series. In line with the series' focus on "using the process of
copying as a basis," the eleven compositions of this volume can be heard
as copies of memories, exploring emotional data patterns that are reflected
as melodic vectors and noise. This remastered version will be reissued on
NOTON in 2026 |

GR Records is proud to present a new release by N-Zino, reimagining two
tracks previously released by Four Flies Records: Mo... and Living Disco
Club, offering two distinct yet complementary interpretations. Mo... (180 GR
Disco Mix) takes its cue from the original Banda Maje version, itself a
contemporary homage to Peppino Di Capri, already given a club
reinterpretation. N-Zino elevates the track with a nu disco approach,
emphasizing its elegant groove and sunnier, funkier side, blending disco
influences with pulsing basslines, shimmering percussion, and warm synth
textures, all infused with contemporary sensibilities while keeping the
original melody alive. The result is a bright, danceable reinterpretation
designed for both listening and the dancefloor. In a different yet perfectly
complementary direction, Living Disco Club (Don Ciccio Tribute Mix) explores
a deep house dimension, turning Banda Maje's disco-inspired original into a
hypnotic, late-night groove. Deep bass, soft drum machines, essential
rhythms, and atmospheric pads create a rich, warm, immersive vibe, ideal for
after-hours or more refined, introspective club moments. Together, these
remixes highlight N-Zino and 180 GR Records' vision: celebrating strong
musical roots, connecting Italy's musical past with contemporary club
culture, offering tracks that honor the tradition and the originals released
by Four Flies, while speaking directly to modern dancefloors |

British
electronic music pioneers Graham Massey (founding member of Manchester
legends 808 State) and Brian Dougans (the mind behind acid house milestone
Humanoid and one half of The Future Sound Of London) join forces for their
debut collaboration In Place Of Language, released on Belgian label De:tuned.
Both 808 State and Humanoid helped shape the UK's early rave and acid house
movement. Here, Massey and Dougans channel that legacy into a beautifully
balanced four-track EP that radiates warmth and energy, drawing on more than
three decades of experience in electronic music. Inspired by key elements of
the '89-91 era while embracing a contemporary edge, the duo merge their
distinct sonic identities into a sound that feels both timeless and
forward-looking. In Place Of Language is not a nostalgia trip, but a natural
evolution: a meeting point between foundation and future, and a blueprint for
a new wave of electronic experimentation! Kevin Foakes (Openmind, DJ Food,
Ninja Tune) created all the graphic work. Mastered by Matt Colton at
Metropolis. A separate digital release will also be available at the usual
digital shops. Stay tuned! |

Building a temple of sound from reduced
elements, Decoder's Alchemy EP on T3R allows selected components to generate
a strong and steady drive. Using a distinctly organic sound palette, the tone
of the release is wordly, sometimes almost wooden with space taking the role
of an active element. When melodies or chords appear, they introduce a subtle
sense of melancholy, adding emotional weight without pulling the music away
from its physicality. In its unfolding storyline, the EP suggests a broader
narrative. While each piece explores a slightly different soundscaping
approach, a consistent DNA runs through the release - reinforced by Sanskrit
and Hindu references as an underlying conceptual thread. Percussion is handled
with precision and imagination: Grooves shift, evolve, and reconfigure. Dark,
driving sequences are softened by airy pads and atmospheric layers, creating
a dual feeling of intensity and serenity. Filters and reverbs are applied
with restraint, giving the music a sense of movement and breath. Alchemy
showcases an emerging artistic voice driven by aspiration and exploration.
Through confident craftsmanship, genuineness and self-reflection translate
into a perfectly balanced, inspiring release. ? 2026 The Third Room Written
and Produced by Gautham Gaug Mixdown and Mastering by Ahmet Sisman (The Third

Building
upon the striking elegance of their first collaboration, Tobias Freund and
Shun Watanabe reunite as Tobias. Doltz. for another extended excursion into
designer electronica with a warm, dubby glow at its centre. Their first album
Versus arrived on Delsin in early 2025 as a result of a chance meeting at
Eden Festival the year before. The spark of inspiration led quickly to a
complete and coherent first body of work, and the same can be said for its
prompt, equally inspired follow-up. Dealing in the gentle hum of digitally
sculpted ambience and needlepoint micro-pulses, Freund and Watanabe evoke the
experimental spirit and mellow immersion of golden-era clicks n' cuts techno.
While that early 00s phenomenon sometimes cracked around the edges of its DSP
limitations, here a rich and porous sound world blooms out from the crisply
defined structure of each track. At times the palette opens up to more
organic sound matter, and there is ample space for full-bodied synths to
ratchet down the rhythm, but a strong digital core of granular processing and
exacting sound design form the bedrock of the album's subtle, sublime sound.
Even though its calm demeanour radiates an instant charm, like all great
electronica Frontiers Of Science is an album of hidden depths to be absorbed
steadily over subsequent trips |

Owl Recordings is thrilled to announce the release of Free Waltz, the latest
vinyl album from Yekaterinburg’s multifaceted electronic music visionary
Andrey Kurokhtin, known as Shine Grooves. Set for release on Dec-1-2025, Free
Waltz is a captivating journey through experimental and ambient soundscapes,
pressed on limited-edition yellow vinyl for collectors and audiophiles alike.
Free Waltz compiles tracks recorded between 2016 and 2024, drawing
inspiration from the vivid images and memories stored in Kurokhtin’s mind.
The album captures the essence of the unusual—moments that linger from past
experiences. The mood of each track is shaped by the state of Kurokhtin’s
soul, influenced by diverse experiences: serene walks in the forest, the hum
of an airplane in flight, heartfelt conversations, cycling through open
landscapes, the pulse of love, and the energy of music itself. Many of these
compositions were born from extended jam sessions in his studio, where
creativity flows freely. The album showcases Kurokhtin’s mastery of an
extensive array of synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, and effectors, blended
with intricate digital plugins and meticulous processing. This sonic palette
creates a rich, immersive sound that bridges experimental, ambient, and
electronic genres, offering listeners a deeply personal and evocative
experience. As a producer, engineer, and creator of the Magnitron cassette
mixer, Kurokhtin brings a wealth of technical expertise to Free Waltz. Beyond
Shine Grooves, he releases music under aliases such as Quadrat, Unlight, and
Rokton Ensemble, and collaborates on live experimental projects like X343 and
Ryabina. As the founder of Hanagasumi, a hand-stamped label dedicated to
non-commercial music, and owner of a vinyl record store in Yekaterinburg,
Kurokhtin is a central figure in the underground electronic music scene. Free
Waltz is a testament to Kurokhtin’s boundless creativity and his ability to
translate fleeting moments into enduring sound |

Expressionist Series. A collection of vinyl and limited digital releases,
curated by Millsart, an alias of Jeff Mills, of his most eclectic and
transcendent compositions that derive from his Every Dog Has Its Day project
as well as new unreleased works. Vernacular creations that fall off from the
"other side" of the Electronic Music tree, this project is designed
for the experienced Techno music listeners, and its goal is to reflect upon
the pure artistry of the craft of storytelling. A realization between music
and life. Whereas "dancing" is the goal of Dance Music, the goal of
this music is about "reflecting on the complexity and simplification of
life". Soundtracks for people in their evolutionary process. Whatever
The Case. "Suggestiveness and the artistry of it is a realm of magic we
mistakenly underestimate. If wielded effectively, it's possible to shift
opinions and ideas to an unfathomable level. Quickly, not knowing becomes not
caring and not caring becomes anyone's right to justify not knowing. But
beyond the razzmatazz and blinding lights always lies the truth - whatever
the case". - Millsart |

L0N3R is a new label from French
artist Elise Massoni, conceived as a space for inward movement, solitude and
quiet attention, where introspective, groove-led techno takes shape through
stripped-back structures and rhythmic, machine-driven jams. With its debut
EP, the label sets out a warm, reduced and exploratory sound - rooted in
rhythm yet open to narrative shifts - speaking as much to private listening
and introspection as to the dancefloor |

Vacuum, a high-impact split EP that brings together two distinct but
complementary forces: Swarm Intelligence and Neuroclash. Pressed as a
vinyl-focused release, the EP is structured as a cleardialectic - three

contributing to a shared atmosphere of tension, futurism, and unease. On the

Ribe
& Roll Dann serve up potent techno on Mutual Rytm with 'Virtus Occulta'.
Built around concepts of unacknowledged work and enduring merit, the release
marks their first EP on SHDW's widely espected label. Based in Toledo and
Madrid, Ribe & Roll Dann are exciting residents at Laster Madrid and
Lanna Club, two of Spain's leading venues. Emerging as driving forces in
their national techno scene, they have also made an impact on the global
landscape, making wider moves through collaborative releases on Klockworks,
and individual outings on a number of other influential labels. Having
previously featured in the label's Federation of Rytm IV compilation, the
pair make their full EP label on SHDW's Mutual Rytm imprint to open March
with a deep dive into their expansive sound. Opener 'Sub Terra' is a pure
club tool that is direct, physical and rooted in the underground with a
seriously heavy low end. 'Extra Lumen' is more restrained but still built on
a steady, forceful rhythm with controlled energy that prefers to operate in
the shadows. 'Ars Non Placens' stays true to the idea that music is not made
to please, but to exist on its own terms with hunched drums and dubby
undercurrents. Next, 'Meritum Negatum' fizzes with static electrical charge and
minimal drum funk and is a direct reflection on overlooked skill and
unacknowledged work, before closer 'Virtus Persistens' delivers a continuity
and a steady pulse rather than an explosive ending, keeping you locked
throughout. In addition, three digital bonus cuts come alongside the vinyl
package. 'Labor Inauditus' speaks to hours of technique, production and booth
experience that remain invisible. Next come the taught, rubbery rhythms and
unrelenting atmosphere of 'Silentium Testium', while 'Sine Aplausu' - which
means without applause - brings a ghostly late night vibe that you will never
want to end |

This EP marks a natural
convergence for Primal Instinct. Built around pure dancefloor intent, it
presents a focused spectrum of moods, unified by intent. Each track is
unmistakably Temudo, and unmistakably Primal Instinct: physical, driven, and
designed to move bodies first and foremost. The release is the result of
close collaboration between Temudo and the label. A shared framework took
shape, allowing Temudo to adapt to the vision without altering his sound,
forming a joint effort where two aesthetics align. Visually, an image rooted
in memories of Carnival in Temudo's hometown becomes the perfect symbol:
chaotic, social, and in constant motion, reflecting the absurdity of life and
the human condition |

Finally, it's time to get these
classic tunes out on vinyl for the very first time. The support from DJs has
been off the charts, and the list is long - including Carl Cox, Dave Clarke,
Ben Sims, Kolsch, Deadmau5, Armin van Buuren, Lilly Palmer, Radio Slave and
Laurent Garnier, just to name a few. The support spans a wide spectrum, from
DJs with very different musical profiles - yet they all play these tracks.
Proud to bring SWAY back on vinyl! |

"After
being praised as one of the best releases of 2025 by multiple platforms, the
highly praised debut album from Obeka lands on vinyl via YUKU. The rhythmic
dynamics and emotive attitudes of A World No More captures the density of
soundsystem culture in Obeka's ancestral roots. YUKU presents the Bermudians
debut album capturing a Neo-Colonial dystopia, protest and Afro-Futurism
hyperextended through decaying sonic structures of a dark past and its
grievances which very much exist today. Growing into adulthood within the
walls of British and European Colonial systems meant the disconnection and
lostness in a new country hid me from the world at a young age. Unlike
London's vast and culturally engaging migrant communities, the industrial
milling town of Stockport introduced a coldness towards people from other
countries I experienced in my first year after relocating from Bermuda. I
couldn't understand why. Whether cold words thrown towards me or actions upon
other people who look like me, it has shown to be a dooming societal virus
with no cure. The most comfort was found through what was familiar - drums
and rhythmic spirituality of my homeland. It was a safe-haven, a place to
empty the anger and confusion. It's been 15 years since relocating and as my
sound evolved, it seems classism, racism, oppression and civil control of
ethnic peoples has become worse - even now more legalised and normalised.
Ogun (a powerful Yoruba deity associated with anger, justice and war) acts as
the opening sequence of the record and its symbolism. Using distorted bass
frequencies and dissected Regga-Dub immersed in live-sampled ghostly voices
of the lost ones. This sonic exercising is also applied in Drillaman - a
stampede of industrial framework and metallic instruments wielded over moody
Dancehall MC'ing, magnifying two parallel worlds in cocooned evolution. The
resurrection of Transatlantic African cultures and identity have never been
silenced, rather carried elsewhere through trade routes of enslavement, which
was pivotal when composing and completing the album upon returning home to
the Caribbean for the first time ever. After reconnecting with my heritage my
blurred vision of what's wrong in the world became so clear. Guidance in
empty plains seek truth throughout the pain - A statement of finding oneself
expressed on the poetic closing track A World No More. On Fawohodie (A West
African Adinkra symbol that represents independence, freedom, and
emancipation stamped on the album cover) the motive and atmosphere begins to
change. Afro-Caribbean idealism which refers to the philosophical concept
that emphasizes the interconnectedness of individuals and the importance of
community, often contrasting with Western individualism, begins to take shape
in a new universe. We can co-exist. The track framework uses machine-led
software forming frequencies we have no control over, then manipulated
through decomposing soundscapes, scattered hand-drums and human-made weapons
of control - exposing the hidden disparity that's been carried over
generations whilst balancing hopeful and musical foundations towards equality
and peace. On Pressure and Kuduro! the writing direction attempts to wake
people up. Not settling for a composed approach like in past projects, quite
the opposite. A call for native sonic awareness, dismantled vocals of
protests, eroded percussion using chains, gears and motorised harmonies
sculpted in challenging abstract behaviors far outside my comfort zone. A
direct abrasiveness and weight I want people to feel, whilst finding hope and
solace through enchanting choirs and hypnotic basslines in complete
synchrony. "Purity in sound manifests when you least expect it. The
smallest memory or feeling grows from a seed into a sonic language that you,
and only you can interpret and release back into the world." |

Red
Axes step into the fabric presents series with a release that feels both
inevitable and deeply personal. Known for their hypnotic, psychedelic
approach to club music, the Tel Aviv–based duo bring a narrative-driven
sensibility that aligns seamlessly with fabric’s legacy of long-form
storytelling and forward-thinking curation. Across years of performances at
fabric and other key global institutions, Red Axes have developed a
reputation for sets that unfold patiently and unpredictably, drawing dancers
into a world where groove, tension, and atmosphere take precedence over genre
or trend. Their contribution to the fabric presents series reflects this
ethos: a carefully sculpted journey that prioritises mood, momentum, and
emotional depth, while remaining firmly rooted in the physical language of
the dancefloor. Formed by Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, Red Axes emerged from
Tel Aviv’s underground with a sound shaped by post-punk, acid, krautrock, and
cosmic disco influences. Over the past decade, they have built a catalogue
defined by raw textures, twisted melodies, and a distinctly human looseness,
qualities that translate as powerfully in the club as they do on record.
Their releases and remixes for labels such as Phantasy, Correspondant,
Running Back, Dark Entries, and Permanent Vacation have established them as
artists who consistently operate just outside the expected. As DJs, Red Axes
are celebrated for their ability to stretch time on the dancefloor, weaving
obscure selections, unreleased material, and leftfield classics into
slow-burning, trance-inducing narratives. This approach has seen them invited
to venues and festivals including Panorama Bar, De School, Bassiani,
Dekmantel, Sonar, and Primavera Sound, where their sets are defined not by peaks
alone, but by the tension built between them. With the forthcoming fabric
presents Red Axes release, the duo deliver a statement that captures years of
shared musical intuition and a deep respect for the club as a communal,
transformative space. It is a mix that rewards close listening as much as
physical immersion, a snapshot of Red Axes at their most focused, expressive,
and uncompromising. To mark the launch of their forthcoming fabric presents
album, the duo unveil the lead single, “Hot Rod To Hell”, a bold reworking of
Man Parrish and Roy Garrett’s 14-minute spoken-word electro epic, reimagined
through Red Axes’ signature psychedelic lens. Stripped back and refocused,
the original’s narrative tension is transformed into a hypnotic, downtempo
house track built for late-night immersion. A rolling, elastic groove anchors
the track, while pulsing low-end, subtly warped synth lines, and tightly
controlled percussion create a sense of slow, smouldering momentum. The
spoken vocal elements drift through the mix like fragments of memory, lending
the track a ritualistic, cinematic quality without overwhelming the
dancefloor |

Y-TRAXX'S
"MYSTERY LAND" RETURNS ON VINYL WITH NEW REMIX BY ROY ROSENFELD:
The legendary trance anthem Mystery Land by Y-Traxx returns to the spotlight.
First released in 1995, the track achieved iconic status after featuring
prominently in the 2000 box-office No. 1 movie Kevin & Perry Go Large.
The original track is now being reissued on vinyl. The release includes the
Original Mix, the classic Sickboy Courtyard Mix, the Søluna Remix - winner of
the Beatport Remix Contest - and a brand-new remix from Roy Rosenfeld.
Available from 3 April via Serious Beats Classics. With its hypnotic
melodies, driving beats, and mysterious atmosphere, "Mystery Land"
became a symbol of the 90s trance scene and grew into a cult classic. The
track was picked up worldwide by influential DJs, including Paul Oakenfold,
and featured prominently on his mix album Perfecto Fluoro (1996). The new
remix by Roy Rosenfeld brings a fresh, modern take to the iconic track,
preserving the emotion of the original while adding a powerful peak-time,
sunrise energy. Rosenfeld comments: "Remixing Mystery Land was an honor
for me. I've loved this track for many years, so the process was very natural
and fun. The vision came quickly, keeping the emotion of the original and
pushing it into a peak-time, sunrise energy." ABOUT ROY ROSENFELD: Roy
Rosenfeld is a leading DJ and producer in the house music scene, known for
his warm, melodic, and instantly recognizable sound. Since 2009, he has built
an impressive international career with releases on labels such as All Day I
Dream, Lost & Found, and Rumors, and with iconic tracks like Epika and
Kala. His music receives worldwide support from top artists including
Solomun, Black Coffee, and Keinemusik. Alongside his studio work, Roy is a
highly sought-after performer at clubs and festivals around the globe and the
driving force behind the successful No Drama event concept in Tel Aviv. This
release combines nostalgia with contemporary trance production, offering both
longtime fans and a new generation the chance to experience this timeless
classic in a refreshed form |

The fifth album by The Me In You.
Just like “The Music of Stuart Conroy” from 2018, a fictional character takes
centre stage on the record. All songs and collages revolve around the second
life of Ida Fischer. “Bring the Beat Back” is the music accompanying the
opening credits of the Flemish TV programme Dagelijkse Kost in 2026 (with
Jeroen Meus). From dreamy indie pop to melancholic ambient fragments to crazy
distortion pedals, The Me In You has never sounded more adventurous without
losing sight of cohesion. Press: Humo: “The Me in You simply offers more
colour and dimension than most other Belgian pop groups” / OOR: ‘A
wonderfully addictive album for connoisseurs.’ / Het Nieuwsblad: ‘Duyster
music that gets under your skin.’ / Le Soir: ‘Every song, every melody
manages to surprise us.’ / Stu Bru: Catch of The Day – De Afrekening list /

It's been more than ten years
since Rolando debuted with his sought after self-titled EP on 030303 and it
is thrilling to see the producer - who has always managed to remain a sort of
best kept secret, admired only by the heads - still surf those high waves of
creativity. Lifephorce is bound to be an instant classic, leaving instant
marks on the listener's soul with unsettling yet mesmerising chord changes, a
heavy throbbing bassline and generally a deep, introspective outlook on the
dancefloor. Sterilize the Club brings back memories of face masks (thank you
Rolando), but soundwise this is face to the ground stomping braindance
material. Just as driving but more melancholic are Dot Zoner and Exit Your
Own Realm. Classic Rolando Simmons, this one. If you know you know... |

Taut drum science and steely
atmospheres are the order of the day as Terrain deliver a moody,
stripped-back four-track EP for Livity Sound. The partnership of Forest Drive
West and Voytek has so far yielded sharply-focused releases for Delsin's
Mantis series and Vargmal, finding the synergy between lean, intricate drum
& bass and heads-down, experimental techno. On 'Barossa Dub', the pair
pitch down to a half-time, dancehall-angled groove to propel a heavily-dubbed
soundscape and system-ready bass. 'Nica' maintains the low-slung swagger
while steadily ratcheting up the dread. On the flip, 'Scatter' winds the
pressure back up with a punchy broken techno workout that teeters on the edge
of breakbeat. 'Hive' opts for a brooding, purring techno meditation that
thrives on slow release and intricately crafted sound design, capping off a
diverse trip through austere club modernism |

On
April 3rd, 2026, Fireground returns to Tresor Records with Refreshing Part 2.
As with the band’s 2023 release of the same name, Refreshing Part 2 is a
decisive and fierce collection of percussive techno that nonetheless travels
its path with a heightened level of funkiness. The Italian duo describe the
concept behind this collection as being “not about resetting, but about
balancing. Refreshing means reconnecting with the present and with the
future…focusing on one’s own way in order to prevent the flow from becoming
automatic, uncontrolled, and without orientation. It is more a direction than
a path.” The four tracks on the 12” are hypnotic dives into a full spectrum
of club music: the rhythms and sound design guiding the subconscious into
visions of past, present and future intermingled, a reminder that all moments
co-exist simultaneously. Side A passes from the stripped-down intensity of
The Way through to Elisir (Elixir), which manages to pull off a trick of
feeling light and floaty while maintaining the power of its predecessor. The
flip side opens with the forceful drive of Activate before making way to the
percussive elasticity of Family Tree, a track which closes out the EP by
recalling, in both name and sound, how that which came before deeply affects
the now, though often in ways only subliminally perceived. Digital-only track
Fixed in Flux continues this concept, and the overall themes of Refreshing
Part 2, with further evocations of intent and movement; remaining present in
change, without resisting it, yet without dissolving into it |

SAMOH
unleashes his new dancefloor weapon, four-track EP ‘Changing Worlds’, out on
February 26th, as his debut on Charlotte de Witte’s prestigious KNTXT
imprint. Charlotte de Witte: ‘I have been playing SAMOH’s tracks for quite
some time now and I am very happy to welcome him to KNTXT. His acid, techno
and trance driven approach to music fits my lane perfectly. There is an
energy in his work that feels raw, focused and completely unapologetic. This
release in particular has that acidic drive that I love so much. This is
powerful club material and I cannot wait to see where it will go.’
Rotterdam’s producer, DJ & live artist SAMOH responds, ‘Releasing this as
my first record on KNTXT is an amazing opportunity, and I feel honoured to be
able to share my music with so many people and let this sound travel further
worldwide.’ ‘Changing Worlds’ EP: from the title track’s rampant beat,
rattling drums, acid-saturated main theme with euphoric edge, and portentous
vocal (‘reality peels away...’) to ‘We Are All Waveforms’ with its
psytrancey, insanely acidic builds to banshee pitch over shutter & hiss
FX at which point you are indeed ‘entering a non-linear dimension’, you are
then a willing victim for ‘Reality Is Gone’ to hammer-drill into the brain and
take command of your feet. Final piece ‘Echoes Of Tomorrow’ starts with
dystopian chattering percussion and spacey FX, before luring you into a
healing euphoric dreamstate with moonstruck, melodic trancey sweetly soaring
singing. ’Changing Worlds’ represents my approach to acid techno/trance in
its most direct and energetic form.’ SAMOH says.‘I made this EP with three
high energy tracks, followed by a more atmospheric closing piece that brings
everything together. It’s about a driving motion and intensity, creating
moments where dancers can disconnect from everything else and fully give
themselves to the music.’ You have been warned. You may as well succumb to
acid as voracious as Venusian cloudforms, techno beats galloping over your
inhibitions, and trance as bewitching as absinthe for the ears. You’ll be
glad you did |

_NRV011
welcomes Romanian craftsman Firesc for a deep, stripped and deliberate
three-track journey built for long blends and late-hour tension. “Travelling
Monk” unfolds across eleven patient minutes — a rolling, meditative groove
anchored by subtle low-end pressure and finely detailed percussion. The
arrangement breathes, evolves and locks into a steady hypnotic stride
designed for extended transitions and heads-down floors. “Resiclap” tightens
the focus. Snapping drums and elastic rhythm work drive the groove forward
with crisp minimal precision, balancing restraint with just enough swing to
keep things playful. On remix duties, Andrei Ciubuc reinterprets “Resiclap”
with a darker, more driving edge. His version sharpens the rhythmic framework
and reinforces the low-end weight, turning it into a focused, late-night
weapon without sacrificing the original’s subtlety. A refined, functional
release that stays true to the understated aesthetic _NRV is becoming known
for — built for selectors who value patience, space and control |

Greek
wizard Echonomist arrives on TAU with the 'Modern Wonder' EP, featuring three
original cuts and a remix from Ditian. Echonomist has been deep in the game
for a long while and it's safe to say he is Greece's top DJ and producer of
our times. He is an all-rounder who can DJ, produce and perform live with
confidence and panache. After his exciting contribution to Dixon's
Transmoderna release alongside tracks by Ame, Trikk and others, 'Modern
Wonder' sees Echonomist's debut with the TAU family. Opening with 'Eyes, the
EP gets off to a dramatic start as moody synth lines and a driving bassline
take us into the new wave zone. Echonomist demonstrates his flair for
arrangement here, with a carefully arranged track that could almost have been
performed by a band. The atmosphere is gloomy and emotive, taking us for a
ride into the night as flickering neon reflects off the rain covered streets
in a sleazy part of town. The title track is next, raising the energy levels
somewhat with punchy beats and a searing atmosphere. Female singer Iokatsi
delivers a brief vocal over the breakdown before the track continues with its
melancholy yet heartfelt narrative. 'The Touch' follows, taking us further
into realms of synth heaven. The main riff is gnarly, with electro-fied beats
and a simple yet catchy rhythm. Echonomist adds a perfectly placed synth way
up high to complement the low end, creating uplifting moments that juxtapose
the gruff bassline. Finally Ditian's 'Snake' remix of 'Modern Wonder' closes
the EP. This a deep, dubby rework with heavy emphasis on the bass to begin
with. Ditian takes the main vocal and chops it into pieces, using
"You're trapped" to increase the tense, chilling atmosphere.
Detuned piano keys add to the macabre feeling as Ditian rolls out a nasty,
haunting rework |
