following thirty years of intense collaboration and worldwide success with
such films as ALL ABOUT MY MOTHER, TALK TO HER and PAIN AND GLORY. The film,
which won the Golden Lion for Best Picture at the Venice Film Festival, is
Almodóvar's first English-language film and stars Julianne Moore, Tilda
Swinton and John Turturro. The story follows Ingrid (Moore) and Martha
(Swinton), who were close friends in their youth when they worked together at
the same magazine. Ingrid became a fiction writer, while Martha became a war
reporter, and they were separated by circumstances. After years out of touch,
they meet again in an extreme but strangely sweet situation. Loyal
collaborator Alberto Iglesias has written one of his most intense, emotional
and moving large-scale orchestral scores. It is a second skin for the
emotions of the characters_subtle, delicate and elegant. The music was recorded

It is a fact that demented rock
was one of the genuine forms of punk-rock in Italy: a transgressive formula
with tremendous sarcasm and attitude. Everything was set against the seeds of
the counterculture, the pop heritage and the exasperated technicality of
progressive-rock. First released in 1979 on Philips, this is the one and only
effort from Revolver, and it perfectly fit into the new arena with hints of

1995 no fue el mejor año para el
metal en general y para el thrash/metal en particular. El grunge dominaba la
escena y apenas bandas como Megadeth o Slayer eran capaces de hacer buenos
discos. Donde sí se cocían buenos condimentos era en la escena underground y
es ahí donde VERBAL ABUSE destacan con este discazo. Dejan de lado su parte
más punk y divertida para adentrarse en terrenos más oscuros, thrashers y
demoledores. Quizás no sea el álbum más apreciado por los punks ni tampoco
por la escena metalera pero precisamente ahí radica lo bueno que lleva
implícito este disco. Está a medio camino de ambas escenas, tiene muy buenos
temas y con el paso del tiempo se ha mantenido decentemente. Después de más
de 20 a;os, Beat Generation lo rescata del cementerio ofreciéndolo con su
portada e insertos originales y por primera vez en vinilo. La edición

is pleased to announce an extensive compilation series combing through the
catalogue of landmark Dutch techno label Djax-Up-Beats. The series, curated
by Rush Hour co-founder Christiaan Macdonald, launches with a look at the
label's legacy in the development of acid music through the 90s. In total,
this first entry in the Djax-Up-Beats 1990-2005 series comprises 20 tracks,
presented as a main triple-vinyl album plus two additional 12" EPs. This
second additional EP brings two two fourteen (!) minutes long journies by
Acid Junkies feat. The Doctor and by Purple Plejade, an early outing by
Thomas P. Heckmann and Holger Wick. Crucially, every track featured on the
series has been carefully mastered by Johanz Westerman, bringing the best out
of tracks that often had very little post-production treatment before they
were originally pressed to wax. With five more, equally extensive, volumes to
come in this series, Djax-Up-Beats 1990-2005 is a thorough exploration of a
true totem of techno culture - a renegade label that operated on its own
terms and carried surprises and slammers in equal measure |

Clone Classic
Cuts continues to dig in the crates to bring back forgotten or obscure
records from the past! This is 3 tracks by Da Posse (produced by Hula... one
of the Outthere Brothers... and with Maurice Joshua, K Fingers &
Martell). Strings & Its My Life are Chicago's take on Detroit techno... a
rare release that sounds like a early Derrick May record (think 'The Dance')
but maybe slightly more straight forward (as one might expect from Chicago).
A rare piece in house and techno history since this is one of the rare
examples of a record that doesn't show the clear difference between Chicago
and Detroit in the late 80's. This record most likely got produced within 1
year after Rhythm = Rhythms legendary Nude Photo and Strings of Life releases
(both '87 and this came out in '88). As extra bonus track we have The Groove.
A phat bass driven chicago acid track that still rocks it. Another fine piece
of powerful dance music history back in the spot light! |

In
the Summer of 2023, Dans Dans were nearing the end of a
two-and-a-half-year-long period of intense creativity, during which they had
released two celebrated albums, Zink and 6, and had toured extensively in
Belgium and abroad. Feeling it was time for a well-deserved break in
activity, they decided to play three final, intimate concerts before going
into hiding: two consecutive nights at Trix in Antwerp (hometown of drummer
Steven Cassiers and guitarist Bert Dockx) and one at Botanique in Brussels
(hometown of bassist Frederic Jacques). 'LIVE!', Dans Dans' first ever full
length live record, features highlights from these memorable nights, offering
excitingversions of several of the group's most beloved compositions from
across their back catalogue. While the band is, at the time of writing,
getting ready to start working on new material, these recordings from 2023
are a good reminder of the magic Dans Dans are able to conjur when they get
together and play. Here is one of the most original instrumental trios of the

Ola Tunji is a young French
quintet based in Brussels. Together, they explore the boundaries between
spiritual jazz and free jazz, following in the footsteps of their great
heroes John Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders, and Albert Ayler. At the forefront is
the still only 24-year-old Ornella Noulet, whose saxophone playing can both
rasp and soothe with the authority of a seasoned jazz veteran. The band
describes their music as collective meditations, in which they express love,
compassion, joy, and serenity through improvisation. By making music
together, they search for a deeper sense of humanity. Their self-titled EP
was initially released only digitally on Bandcamp, but it was immediately met
with enthusiastic international acclaim, including praise from the American
platform All About Jazz. Bandcamp itself also highlighted the release as a

Nina
Kraviz launches a new label. treats is the younger, bratty sister label to
trip, specialised in cool music for the dance floor that seems to ignore the
idea of genres. To prove this point the first release brings together two
tracks that have been roasted in Nina's sets for months and are genre
bending. On the A-side, Brazilian phenomenon and SoundCloud cowboy Joao
Lagrima de Ouro teams up with Baile Funk legend MC Pogba. "Pitbull de
Glocada" is an excessively naughty heater, with a serious nod to the
regional Brazilian electronic music, creating an authentic blend of sounds.
On the B-side, Nina herself teams up with Rio de Janeiro marvel Mc Nick. The
two met online, as Nina came across Nick's sensual hit "Mete com forza e
com talento" and made her own version of it. Later during a Brazilian
tour, the two finally met up on the mythical beach of Mc Nick's hometown
where "sem amor" was recorded. Nina's signature minimalist
production and approach to vocals pairs idyllically with Mc Nick's fiercely
carnal and feminine raps. treats 001 consists of two tracks with a
fluctuating identity, spilling over with risque playfulness that might
require parental advisory for some, but it's hard to deny the sheer joy these
tracks exude |

For
the first time an album that brings together the compositions of the great
visual artist Sergio Zevallos. Sergio Zevallos, a Peruvian artist based in
Berlin, has been active since the 1980s when he was a member of the
Chaclacayo Group, one of the most radical artist collectives in Peru,
dedicated to performance art. Since then, Zevallos has been interested in
composing his own soundtracks, writing scores with invented notation, working
with recitation of texts and recordings of people talking, elements that he
later used as raw material for his compositions. Zevallos' work has been
developed in a multidisciplinary field, between drawing, performance and
sound art, with a clear interest in setting iconoclasm and nonsense against
the languages of power. Sergio Zevallos - ATEM: Pieces for actions and
installations (1999-2019) compiles, for the first time, works in the field of
sound, both soundtracks for various performances such as
"Fragmentos" and "Atem", which are based on the montage
of vocal sounds and noises, and "Cello", a musical composition for
that instrument. In them, dissonance alternates with melodic work and
experimentation with loops and recordings. "CHTP No. 3" is a work
akin to the experiences of sound poetry. "Callejón Oscuro", on the
other hand, documents the complex vocal sound textures achieved by Zevallos,
in the manner of Radio Arte's compositions, for his sound installation of the
same name. Sergio Zevallos - ATEM: Pieces for actions and installations
(1999-2019) is released on vinyl LP, edition of 300 copies, and includes
photos, drawings and notes written by Zevallos himself. This album is
released by Buh Records with the support of Proyecto AMIL, who have joined
efforts to develop a collection dedicated to presenting fundamental Peruvian
works that operate at the borders of visual and sound art |

transcendent electronics from Japanese techno icon DJ Nobu. Inspired by the
Buddhist Brahmaviharas - joy, compassion, loving-kindness and equanimity -
Sho unfolds as a meditative, emotional journey rooted in Nobu’s experiences
of Tokyo, mindfulness and inner clarity. From kinetic renewal to serene
minimalism, the EP channels presence, acceptance and the simple truth that
breathing itself is living. Each track on ‘Sho’ marks a step in an emotional
and spiritual journey, channelling the foundational virtues of the
Brahmaviharas, which are the four ‘Sublime States’ of Buddhist practice:

Manfredi
Romano, founder and A&R of Life and Death Records, has been a pivotal
figure in electronic music for over two decades. This year marks an important
milestone as he is invited to curate the upcoming fabric presents mix for
fabric Records, a release that highlights his instinctive storytelling and
the distinct musical identity he has cultivated throughout his career.
Manfredi’s journey began in Italy around the turn of the millennium,
tour-managing punk bands and organizing left-field music events before
completing his studies in computer science at the University of Pisa. He went
on to form DAZE, Italy’s first booking agency dedicated exclusively to
electronic music, laying the groundwork for what would become a globally
influential presence in the scene. In 2010, he shifted focus to his own
artistic project, DJ Tennis, which quickly gained international recognition
for its emotive blend of house, techno, and disco. Renowned for creating
intimate atmospheres in even the largest spaces, DJ Tennis has performed at
leading clubs such as Circoloco Ibiza, Fabric London, and Panorama Bar
Berlin, and at major festivals including Sonar, Timewarp, Primavera Sound,
and Coachella. His 2022 residency at Phonox in London further showcased his
ability to shape dancefloors with nuance and depth. Since 2017, he has also
co-founded and curated Rakastella, the celebrated Art Basel Miami festival
created in partnership with Life and Death and Innervisions. As a producer,
DJ Tennis draws from early relationships with post-rock pioneers such as
Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tortoise, and Fugazi, channelling their
influence into intricately layered electronic compositions. His work has
appeared on respected labels including Kompakt, Rhythm Assault, Running Back,
!K7, Cercle Records, Aus Music, and Circoloco Records, alongside frequent
releases on Life and Death. His remix portfolio includes collaborations with
Diplo, Boys Noize, Loco Dice, WhoMadeWho, and Acid Pauli, among many others.
He has also previously contributed a DJ-Kicks mix, bringing his eclectic
sensibilities to one of electronic music’s most beloved series. After
extended periods living in Miami, Berlin, and Barcelona, DJ Tennis now
resides in Paris. Outside the studio and club environment, Manfredi is a
passionate chef who has curated menus for charity events and collaborated
with Beatport at ADE, Pioneer, and Resident Advisor. He is also an avid
collector of bicycles, vintage action figures, and vinyl — his record
collection now surpasses eleven thousand pieces. With the forthcoming fabric
presents DJ Tennis release, he offers a deeply personal, narrative-driven
statement that reflects decades of crate-digging, boundary-pushing
selections, and a lifelong devotion to sound. It marks a new chapter in his
artistic evolution and stands as one of the year’s most anticipated entries
in the iconic series. The first single from DJ Tennis is a collaboration with
long-time studio partner Ashee, and it immediately sets the tone for the mix:
warm, seductive, rhythm-driven, and emotionally charged. “I Wanna Know” is a
sleek club track built around a pulsing groove and a steady, hypnotic rhythm.
The low end is rounded and warm, giving the track a driving but understated
momentum. Percussion is crisp and minimal, allowing the bassline and vocal
elements to take center stage. The repeating, robotic earworm of a vocal
hook, “I wanna know’ is the lynchpin to the track and will remain in your
head long after the track has finished. It’s the kind of record that warms up

from the vaults of The De-Evolution Band. This anthology takes you from the
bands initial conception in Akron, Ohio to the moment before the world woke
up, in a collection of sonic and visual art that captures Devo at the dawn of
industrial death. In honour of their 50th Anniversary, ART DEVO showcases the
mesmerizing evolution of a band on the brink of discovery, mining irony, wit
and dark humour from the madness of a distorted modern world still coming to
terms with aftermath of a collapsed economy and the Vietnam war. From
1973-1977 Devo would transform from an art project, pop art in the literal
sense, into the group David Bowie would declare “the band of the future”.
Here you will find the audio mutations of a band at the edge of greatness,
initial concepts that gave birth to a new aesthetic that continually
challenged preconceptions about music, art, performance, culture, composition
and consumption...it was also the birth of Booji Boy. While the songs here
may not be fully grown, raw even, these are the seeds of subversion that
kickstarted Devo’s fifty year legacy. Spanning 3xLP’s almost completely
unheard and unreleased material, this collection draws purely from that
integral early history, garnered from unearthed basement recordings, original
demo tapes, unfinished montages and rare live audio, all taken from the bands
personal archive. This collection showcases why Devo was, and is still is,
one of the most important bands in American history. De-evolution is real.

In
2026, De Beren Gieren transform into Fuzzy Bears with a new project. This
adventurous new alter ego, born from a deep exploration of modular synths and
electronic soundscapes, began as an experiment with vintage electronics at
the Willem Twee Institute in the Netherlands has since grown into a bold
expansion of the trio’s identity. They composed ten pieces that evoke a world
between dream and experiment, with influences from artists such as Cluster,
Mort Garson, Hiroshi Yoshimura, and Brian Eno. Fuzzy Bears offers a
forward-thinking and immersive listening experience that pushes the
boundaries of jazz and electronics — equal parts experimental laboratory and
live concert. On stage, the adventure takes its most daring form. Instead of
relying on the original vintage synths, the trio reinterprets the studio’s
electronic textures with a streamlined setup designed for live performances.
The songs of this exciting experiment are collected on a self-titled album,
to be released on March 20th 2026 via Marcel Records. First single 'The Happy

his singular debut LP, 2025’s ‘Light Months Will Fl y Over Us’,
singer-songwriter and producer Addy Weitzman sees his thoughtful artrock and
new wave aesthetic expanded by The Time & Space Machine for a limited
three-track 12". The long-running alias of British DJ, archivist and
acid pioneer Richard Norris, this trio of remixes from The Time & Space
Machine’s central processing unit finds Norris in a jubilant raving mode, his
trademark psychedelia contributing to Slacker at its best and baggiest. The
initial mix captures Weitzman’s songwriting in full, including his portentous
vocal hook – “No man is a prophet in his own land” – a proverb first found in
the gospels, blessed with the innovative Norris’s application of hypnotic
groove, fat low-end and a ton of percussion. The B-side sees Norris stripping
things back in two directions: the Shango Dub draws focus on the higher
vibrations found in the track’s beautifully intertwined percussive and synth
elements, while the Riddim Mix reduces the frequencies further still, with a
phased, slightly fried drum workout primed to spin heads as the night gets
