The Real McKenzies' brand of
Scottish-influenced punk rock is no doubt original. Coming in somewhere
between the Dropkick Murphys, Scottish folk music, and dirty, 1977-styled
punk, this band -- which plays in full Scottish regalia (yes, that includes
the kilts) -- is no doubt quite a treat live. The sound created on Loch'd
& Loaded shows off the skills of both bagpipe players and then strikes in
with some punk rock discord. Rowdy, snottish vocals sing songs of Scotland,
partying, and drinking. Not entirely in depth, but good for those in high
spirits; nevertheless, one has to wonder how far a band can go with a style
such as this |

Over the past few years, NOFX
have unleashed their very first double album in the form of 2021s Single
Album; followed by Double Album a year later. What fans didnt know, is that
wasnt all there was to this masterpiece. Thats right, NOFXs first and only double
album has a 5th side! Half Album is the final chapter to NOFXs epic double
album. The songs that comprise this EP - as well as its two predecessors,
were all recorded at the same time. Half Album is not simply the leftover
songs from this session, but rather an integral part that ties the entire
project together |

Sweden was a well-known scene for
some of the best garage rock bands emerging in the 80s. The Backdoor Men may
have been the most brilliant example of them all with the amazing vocalist
Robert Jelinek, also known for his achievements with The Creeps. During a few
years The Backdoor Men released some of the most epic jangly garage/pop/folk
there was, decades before bands like The Hives. On this definite compilation
everything is included - the singles, the cassettes, the demos. Enjoy a piece
of 60s style dance blast |

Having built a strong reputation across the West Coast scene
with appearances alongside Lee Fields, Thee Sacred Souls, The Altons, The
Charities and The Mystery Lights, The Emkays unveil a lush, two-track single
that blends classic soul with cinematic elegance. The A-side, Let Love Walk
Out Again, is a shimmering, melancholic ballad steeped in orchestral bells
and graceful arrangements, recalling the refined pop of The Zombies. On the
flip is Through the Pines, a haunting instrumental built around soft swing,
vibraphone textures and ghostly vocal inflections _ a delicate, atmospheric
counterpoint that lingers long after it fades |

Quartet
Records presents the premiere complete vinyl edition of cult soundtrack by
Ennio Morricone for the 1983 police thriller COPKILLER (aka ORDER OF DEATH).
Coproduced between Italy, France and the U.S., and directed by longtime
Morricone collaborator Roberto Faenza, the film stars Johnny Rotten (famous
punk-star from the group Sex Pistols), Harvey Keitel and Nicole Garcia. The
plot is about a pair of corrupt cops spending their illegal cash on an uptown
New York City apartment. Morricone's score comes from the composer's fertile
period of poliziotteschi thrillers and his collaborations with Henri Verneuil
in Belmondo's French polars in the early 1980s. The music features the
psychedelic, percussion-heavy and often ostinato-based cues that Morricone
typically reserved for the steamy chaos of his crime-film scores. General
Music released the score on LP in France and Germany in 1983 with 10 tracks.
This new Quartet Records edition contains the complete scorw with 16 tracks.
This limited LP edition, pressed on audiophile 140 GM yellow vinyl, has been
specially restored and mastered by Chris Malone from the first-generation
stereo master tapes. The luxurious artwork features the artistry of Mac |

At just 14 years old, Trelane began contributing backing vocals
for Billy Childish and CTMF, and even took the lead on a Ramones cover during
a session for Riley and Coe on BBC 6 Music. Impressed by her distinctive
voice, the group decided to record a few Monkees covers with Trelane on lead
vocals. She also coined the band's name, marking the start of a promising
collaboration. The line-up features Jableeta on bass and backing vocals,
Ginger Chunks on drums, and Sir Quentin Gaydish on guitar. Further recordings

GIMP
FIST celebrating their 20th anniverary and here's their birthday present:
sold out for over 10 years here are the first three (official) releases
available again as special collector's editions: "Your Time Has
Come", "The Place Where I Belong" & "Marching On And
On" each include a rare bonus track now, and come as 180gr colorued
splatter vinyl! Each coloured edition is limited to only 233 copies! With
their 2010 full lenght, "The Place Where I Belong," the trio
underscored their status and created timeless and important classics with
anthems like "Skinhead Not a Bonehead" and "Here I
Stand." Socially critical assessments of society and politicians
alternated with a clear commitment to the "working class" and
subculture. The Ox fanzine wasn't the only one who was enthusiastic:
"Hardly any skinhead band today manages to play Oi! punk as anthemically
and rousingly as Cock Sparrer did in their prime. Fortunately, there are
still a few exceptions to this rule, and England's GIMP FIST are one of them.
For me, this is clearly the best record from this genre in a long time."
Many happy returns Gimp Fist! |

35th
Anniversary Edition obi-strip. Smokey Vinyl 2LP. Born and raised in the
birthplace of House Music, Paul Johnson was known for his raw, soulful, and
infectious sound, that helped shape Chicago's house scene and inspired
generations of DJs worldwide in particular he was a massive inspiration to
Daft Punk and the 'French Touch' scene. Releasing a vast amount of music
throughout the 1990s for some of the most consistently underground dance
labels including legendary Chicago imprints Cajual, Relief and Dance Mania he
finally gained global fame with his 1999 hit “Get Get Down,” a dancefloor
anthem that topped charts across Europe. Despite facing physical challenges,
including losing both legs in accidents, he remained an unstoppable force in
music—touring, producing, and uplifting others with his resilient spirit and
signature groove. Re-pressed for our 35th anniversary, Paul Johnson’s classic
1995 debut album on Peacefrog, Bump Talkin is a timeless showcase of Paul’s
signature deep, soulful house sound, blending irresistible peak-time,
piano-driven anthems with a playful touch of bouncy Ghetto House energy. They
dont make em like this anymore... RIP Paul Johnson |

Known to the world as the founder
of the Church of Satan and author, among other cult esoteric texts, of the
Satanic Bible, Anton Szandor Lavey was also a skilled musician with a taste
for weird, creepy old-timey sounding tunes. Present in this compilation are 6
of his best recordings and the first ever recording of a satanic mass
conducted by the very high priest himself in 1968. A compendium of the words
and music of one of the most singular and demonized (and rightfully so!)
characters pop-culture has ever seen. Let yourself go with the suave and
eerie sounds of the satanic empire and hail the dark lord! |

Second album from the Wipers.
Mastered by Greg Sage. Simply obliterating any conception of the Wipers as a
mere punk band, Greg Sage released this follow-up to "Is This
Real?" in 1981 - a sophisticated, overwhelming response to the evil
times marked by the turn of the decade. Broken up into six long songs,
"Youth of America" is a much colder, harrowing experience than the
teen angst of their debut. Wipers was a recording project formed in late 1978
by Greg Sage in Portland, OR. First conceived as a studio project, they
originally planned to release fifteen LPs over ten years and completely avoid
doing tours or interviews. They disbanded in 1989 after releasing six studio
albums, but reformed in 1993 to release three more albums. They disbanded for
good in 1999. Kurt Cobain cited the band, and especially the début album, as
major influences on Nirvana. |

As anyone who's ever seen them
live or experienced their growing recorded output can confirm, Spain's Sudor
are, without a doubt, one of the most exciting hardcore punk bands on the
planet as their third album, 'Causa General', makes patently clear. With a
sound rooted in the Discharge tradition, Scandinavian Hardcore and the
classic sounds of 80s Spanish punk bands, Sudor's powerful and extreme
personality explodes with manic energy in the grooves of this beast of a
record. Sounding meaner, dirtier and more pissed off than ever, the band
takes no prisoners, spitting anthem after anthem of raw, unaltered hardcore
punk the way it's meant to be... loud, fast (with the occasional kick ass
mid-tempo crawler) and uncompromising. Make punk a menace again and play this
monster L-O-U-D, your lame ass neighbors will hate your fucking guts |

After
more than a decade away from European stages, legendary Australian rock
outfit The New Christs are finally returning to tour the continent in the
summer of 2025. To celebrate this long-awaited comeback, Wild Honey Records
and FOLC proudly present The Burning of Rome: Selected Works, a
career-spanning double vinyl compilation personally curated by frontman Rob
Younger. Rob Younger, best known as the voice of Radio Birdman and a defining
figure of the Australian underground, formed The New Christs in the early
1980s as an outlet for his darker, more intense musical visions. Over the
years, the band has become an essential part of the global rock'n'roll
landscape, blending raw garage energy with post-punk menace, sophisticated
songwriting and a ferocious live presence. Despite frequent lineup changes
(featuring players from The Celibate Rifles, Lime Spiders, The Barracudas,
Hoodoo Gurus and more), The New Christs have maintained an unmistakable
identity one defined by urgency, grit and uncompromising quality |

With
acute focus on dance floor hypnotism and percussive pressure, SIDEB003 offers
German collaboration IGLO and Paul Hauck's debut vinyl release. A third
project for this duo, 'Stable Fusion' plays to the producers strengths as
biting sound design unfolds through reliable groove. 'Stable Fusion' - and,
in turn, its title track - presents as an uncompromising dance floor record,
complete with pressing arrangements and powerful tension shifts. The
infectious nature of club music comes largely from the power and insistence
of its minimal elements and IGLO & Paul Hauck put chisel to stone to
showcase just that. To add soul to skill, 'Neustadt' claims the A2 with added
color and a silver lining in the its mood. Festive chord stabs stutter along
with percussion riding up and down the spectrum, maintaining energy without
losing impact. Flipping sides, 'Initiator' returns to minimalism and spaced
out sequences. Dub chords boom through a low lying swing, complete with
unfolding ambient textures. The track is focused and its intentions aren't
shy, the slow creep to the EP's conclusion 'Celestis' is met with intrigue.
Warbly synth work warms up a pulsating core, creating a more tonal sound
system experience than any of its predecessors. Here, ferocity hides behind
humility, and 'Celestis' is a crowd pusher with deceptive arrangement to
close out 'Stable Fusion' with confirmation of quality and effect. Words by

"Late
'80s and early '90s electronic music has had a steering influence on the
Altered Circuits catalog curation, so we are delighted to present an EP by
one of the pioneers of that era: Olivier Abbeloos. His 40 years of experience
as a producer and DJ translate into a Discogs profile so extensive it reveals
his real name alone can be (mis)spelled in 20 different ways.
"1993-1994: Rare & Unreleased 1" features five tracks produced
under three different aliases, all sourced from the artist's DAT tapes vault,
dating back to the prolific two-year period referenced in its title. ALT024
opens with two "Conga Squad" tracks. "Combo" is a
high-energy cut driven by a savory staccato chord progression, and
"Substitute" works a similar, yet more restrained dynamic, that is,
until a boisterous vocal sample enters. The quirky bass lines and moody synth
work of "Under The Ground", the first "Holographic
Hallucination" inclusion, concludes the A-side. Its twilight
atmospherics fit right in amid the B-movie horror electro trending on
contemporary dancefloors. The flip opens with "Psychosky", which
caters slightly more to a slow-burner vibe and sets the stage for extensive
piano work. "Dj Flavour", composed under the "Warp Factor
One" alias, closes the EP. Here, the Latin-tinged percussion that runs
as a subtle thread throughout the release takes the spotlight, while funky
basslines and manipulated vocals add layers of detail. It is the only track
on the EP that was already released in 1994, appearing as part of a - by the
standards of that era - obscure and very limited 300-copy pressing. Those
times sure have changed, but the music still sounds as fresh as ever." |

ESHU hits 20! From The Hague to Nijmegen, a first release by
Deniro marks ESHU's 20th release. The long going techno producer and DJ from
The Hague has already proven himself in many styles of techno, from fast and
tripping acid techno to melodic Detroit influenced works and stripped down
drum tracks. Still, dub techno is close to his heart and makes the connection
with ESHU real. Over the course of three tracks Deniro matches ESHU's vision
flawlessly, warm and hazy dub techno drifters with an emotive touch including
a collaboration with a champion of the genre Steve O'Sullivan |

Reissue 30 years after its
release, of the second full-length album by the most important band in Basque
thrashcore! 180g vinyl, remastered and redesigned for the occasion. At the
end of the summer of 1995, rumours were circulating about the break-up of Anestesia.
Dani (bassist) was leaving the band and speculation was rife. But that's all
it was, rumours. Two months later, 'Erantzun' was released. The bassist was
Txarly, who fitted in perfectly with the band's dynamic, without any
problems. This second album consolidated the band. The sound quality was
excellent for an album recorded in five days at the IZ studios in Amasa
(Gipuzkoa), with Kaki Arkarazo returning as engineer, who had also been at
the helm for the band's debut album, "Gorrotoaren ahotsa |

In
discotheques and dark rooms across Europe, Boys’ Shorts have earned the trust
of the queer and wider clubbing communities as generous stewards of a
timeless sound that, like themselves, never stops moving forward. The duo of
Vangelis and Tareq initially met at an underground club in their native
Greece. Sensing a rare sonic connection, the pair became friends, forming
Boys’ Shorts to meet again and again, travelling from their adopted cities of
Thessaloniki and London to appear as far afield as Berlin’s Panorama Bar and
New York’s Le Bain, as well as supporting Goldfrapp and Hot Chip on tour.
Their motivation? In their own words, “we make people dance!” Following years
of gradual, thoughtful studio sessions, and EP releases on tastemaking
electronic labels including Phantasy Sound and Live At Robert Johnson, Boys’
Shorts establish their own imprint, ALL SORTS, in order to deliver a
fantastically ambitious debut album, ‘What Does It Take To Make These Men
Happy?’ The LP opens with the grandiose, cosmic vista of ‘The Space Between
Us’, a classic passage of strings and synthesis, before the shared Boys’
Shorts vision falls back to earthier territory with deep groove of ‘Let’s
Fall In Love’, mixing universal sentiment with a patient vision of human potential
and the voice of Greek electronic pioneer, K.BHTA. ‘Come’ aligns with NYC’s
Michael Cignarale, offering an excitable invitation to the mind and body
sculpted by the way of a throbbing, warehouse-sized statement of nineties
house sensuality. Channeling heroes Lowe and Tennant at their most
introspective, ‘Short Life’ maintains the dance, yet dares to ask, “what if
the parties aren’t enough anymore… Can you ask for something more?” Out of
the pet shop and straight into the strobe lights, ‘Disco Romantica’ makes
true on the promise of its title, a lovelorn monologue giving way and
slipping into rave stabs and whirring synthesis that looks forward to a
memorable, emotionally-charged night ahead. Underpinning this feeling of
anticipation, ‘Going Out Hoping To See You’ introduces the voice of Justin
Strauss to Boys’ Shorts' musical world. A certified icon of club culture,
spinning from The Mudd Club to modern day DJ booths, Strauss’s generation
spanning experience of nightlife leans into the fundamentals of human
connection and the pleasure of musical discovery, wrapped in irresistible
chug. Another transformative figure in club music, Fischerspooner’s own Casey
Spooner dips into French for the Motorik cyber sleaze of ‘MECANIMAUX’, their
own vocals pitching up and down with playful EBM abandon. ‘Montage’ offers a
different kind of composition, conjuring an ecstatic club banger that finds
inspiration in nineties indie rock motifs alongside the rave scene, while
‘Run’ promises to blow out sound systems before its weighty electro bassline
succumbs to waves of glistening synths. Such bombast into beauty perfectly
sets up the record’s blissful conclusion; ‘The Stars Are Out For You’ is
electro-pop so delicate as to heal aching feet (and mend broken hearts),
while offering the final tender moments of the album as a form of tribute on
‘Untitled (For Mitsi)’. It’s a thoughtful ending to a thrilling trip through
a shared passion for electronic and pop music in all its glorious potential.
What does it take to make these men happy? It’s a pleasure to find out |

Reissue
of Helen Ripley-Marshall's highly sought after 1988 Australian private press
release "Green Chaos". Fresh Hold Releases presents Helen
Ripley-Marshall's mysterious Australian ambient electronic album "Green
Chaos", reissued for the first time on vinyl LP. Originally released in
1988 on Sydney based private press label Freefall, "Green Chaos"
marks the sole release from Ripley-Marshall. In the late 80's Ripley-Marshall
lived a Bohemian lifestyle in inner city Sydney; "surrounded by
musicians, actors and artists, there was an amazing creative experimental
vibe going on". While playing in new wave/art rock band "D
Face" she began Green Chaos as a personal project to counteract the
creative friction sometimes experienced within a group dynamic, heavily
inspired by Arnold Frolows' "Ambience" radio show on Australia's
Triple J and particularly the music of Tangerine Dream, Harold Budd and Brian
Eno. Initially a solitary endeavour, once she decided to record in a studio
Green Chaos morphed into a somewhat collaborative, improvisational project
with other musicians invited into the studio to improvise and add their own
interpretations and ideas, additional layers and dimensions, resulting in a
work that combines a clear influence from the electronic repetition of the
Berlin school with a meandering, futuristic lyricism. Although influenced by
the long form sonic journeys of artists like Tangerine Dream,
Ripley-Marshall's background in art rock and new wave brings a more concise
approach, each song a self-contained universe that says only what is
necessary in the arrangement. After completing a sound engineering course
Ripley-Marshall recorded the album at Sydney's Exeter House Studio over several
months alongside studio engineer Andrew Knight, met through a fellow member
of D Face. Knight ran Freefall, a private press recording label releasing
folk and bluegrass music, which had Green Chaos as its sole ambient release.
Ripley-Marshall self distributed the album to local inner city record stores
and dropped a copy to Triple J, where it became a regular staple of Arnold
Frolows' show. These days Ripley-Marshall has moved away from music and is
predominantly focused on visual art. "Green Chaos" stands as the
only released product of her musical years, both a personal window into the
vibrant experimental art scene of late 1980s Sydney and a deep, timeless
anomaly of Australian electronic music |

Regal
delivers his first full EP on Backspin, marking a defining moment for the
label he founded. More than just another release, the Forgotten Heroes EP
captures the essence of Regal's vision: groovy, forward-moving techno that
balances raw club energy with atmosphere, emotion and narrative. The title
track 'Forgotten Heroes' sets the EP in motion with a sense of controlled
urgency. A rolling, slightly breaktinged groove pushes forward relentlessly,
while an eerie, almost nostalgic synth melody hovers in the background,
giving the track an emotional pull. 'Concentrate' shifts the focus inward_
bleeping motifs, tight claps and restless hihats circle around spoken
fragments that feel like thoughts caught between the peak of the night and
the quiet hours before sunrise. On the B-side, 'Forte' accelerates into pure
momentum: sharp, bleep-led sequences and forward pressure combine into a rush
that feels like racing through the city at night. 'Soft Killer' deepens the
mood with a darker, dominant edge, its stripped back power and razor-sharp
sounds cutting clean through the mix. Closing track 'Wild Magic' offers a
final release of tension, slowing the pace into a lighter, more house-leaning
groove. Warm pads and a catchy, uplifting melody bring a sense of air and
openness, letting the EP drift out on a hopeful, almost euphoric note.
Regal's comeback EP 'Forgotten Heroes' stands as a personal statement and a
cornerstone release for Backspin. It's techno built on groove, contrast and
character, made to leave a lasting impression on the dancefloor |

Mathias
Kaden announces the ‘Three Decades’ LP on Rekids, releasing 3rd April 2026,
with single ‘Fyutr’ featuring Zoë Xenia and a remix from the legendary Dennis
Ferrer available now. His third full-length, following 2009’s ‘Studio 10’ on
Vakant and 2015’s ‘Energetic’ on Freunden Am Tanzen, ‘Three Decades’ spans
nine tracks and celebrates Kaden’s 30-year career as one of Germany’s most
enduring House and Techno figures. The ‘Three Decades' album opens with a
title intro, in which Mathias Kaden expresses gratitude to those closest to
him before moving into his signature deep, emotive House sound. Tracks like
‘Keep Balance’ set the tone with sub-heavy bass and crisp, driving drums,
occasionally punctuated by vocal snippets, while ‘I Got You’ features Cassy
for a high-energy, soulful dancefloor moment. Reminiscent of Kaden’s work as
Mathimidori, the dubbiness of ‘Getting Closer’ sets the stage for ‘Inner
Signal’, which leans into wiggy electro territory, before the second record
shifts gears with ‘Next Wave’ and ‘Shelter’, returning to pacey,
piano-fuelled rave energy. ‘Viral’ follows with tough drums and excellent
stab work, before the album closes on ‘Fyutr’, Kaden’s collaboration with Zoë
Xenia, already supported by Honey Dijon, DJ Deep, Laurent Garnier, and more.
Active since the mid-90s, Mathias Kaden quickly became one of the artists at
the forefront of Germany’s flourishing rave scene. He began releasing music
in the early 2000s, first collaborating with Marek Hemmann on a series of EPs
for Freude Am Tanzen, before establishing himself as a solo artist with more
than two dozen EPs on labels including Desolat, Watergate Records, Pets
Recordings, Diynamic, Ovum, and Cocoon. Since first appearing on Rekids in
2019 with the ‘Control Your Mind’ EP, Kaden has released multiple projects on
the label and remains a regular contributor to its catalogue. Alongside his
own productions, he has remixed artists such as DJ Koze, KiNK, Monika Kruse,
Trentemøller, and Sven Väth, while under his Mathimidori alias, he has
explored more spacious territory with releases on Mule Musiq, Ornaments, and
Freund der Familie, including an additional album, ‘Akebono’, on Echocord |

On
Psalm Funk, Bnnyhunna deepens the artistic language he first articulated on
his celebrated debut Echoes of a Prayer. Rather than retracing familiar
ground, the Amsterdam-based composer and producer expands his palette,
allowing rhythm and space to carry as much narrative weight as harmony and
lyricism. While Echoes of a Prayer felt personal and devoted, Psalm Funk
opens things up. Gospel harmonies stay central to his music, but now they are
energized by smooth funk rhythms and heightened by the flexibility of jazz
improvisation. Bnnyhunna moves between styles effortlessly, in a way that
nothing seems borrowed, but everything feels lived in. At the center of the
record is an understanding of space. Silence acts not as an absence but as a
structure. Breath, restraint, and patience shape the music just as much as
basslines and backbeats. This awareness of dynamics allows the album to grow
without losing its focus. It signifies a subtle but important change in
Bnnyhunna as an artist, moving from inward reflection to forward momentum,
from prayer as personal dialogue to prayer as a physical expression. The
clarity, discipline, and emotional depth that marked his debut remain, now
directed into something more rhythmically confident and spiritually uplifting.
Fusing gospel, funk, jazz, and African rhythmic traditions, Psalm Funk serves
as both a meditation and an outpouring. It invites deep thought while
demanding a physical response. The album includes collaborations with
American saxophonist Braxton Cook, trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey of Kokoroko,
3DDY, and Reggie Dartey, among others. The singles "Sorry Not
Sorry" and "Waiting For You" have already hinted at the
project's range, while the latest single, "The Heart Part 2,"
further expands on the album's dynamic and emotional scope. To celebrate the
release, Bnnyhunna will tour the Netherlands in April, with performances in
Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Nijmegen before heading to the UK for a show at The
Great Escape. Released in October 2024, Bnnyhunna's debut album Echoes of a
Prayer was created as a dialogue with God, a personal call expressed through
sound. The record resonated both with fans and media, gaining support from
platforms like 3voor12, Rolling Stone Africa, and Afromixx. It reached the
airwaves of BBC Radio 1 in the UK, KEXP in the US, J-Wave in Japan, and 3FM
in the Netherlands, and landed in playlists such as BUTTER, Morning Rhythm,
and Vanguard. In 2025, Echoes of a Prayer earned the Edison Pop award for
Soul/R&B/Funk and received Grammy consideration for Best Alternative Jazz
Album. On stage, Bnnyhunna established his presence with performances at
festivals such as Lowlands, Couleur Cafe, Brick Lane Jazz Festival, Dour, and
Super Sonic Jazz, as well as his first tour in Japan. Upcoming live shows:

As
one of the foundational artists of Flipsight, it is only fitting that
ColorJaxx gives the first major 2 x 12" gatefold statement on the label.
The debut album 'In Between' of the Belgian producer gives a full overview of
his trademark deep grooves with a re-invention of his club sound. The first
record is your invitation to the beach. The A-side kicks off with the ambient
"Playamer", setting a scene of salt air and warm breeze. The
shoreline waves combine with an electric piano groove to "Out The
Door". This is where a slick trumpet gets the parole and cuts through
the atmosphere, signalling to the dancefloor. "Never Enough" serves
as a spiritual successor of his first EP on the label "Tales of
never": shimmering guitar samples, a warm, everlasting groove, and that
unmistakable "ColorJaxx" swing that we fell in love with initially.
The B-side is where Jordy catches the first hints of Spring with "Just
Around" by blending uplifting trumpets and sax melodies with a fresh
forward-moving baseline. "Higher" elevates the mood further with
smooth rhodes keys and a jazzy piano lead. As the evening chill sets in, the
first disc concludes with the literal end of the day: "The Beach Is
Closed". Time to grab the second wax out of your gatefold: leave the
sand behind for the strobe light as this is where the maestro gets in club
mode. "Back Then" serves as the bridge into
"Discotheques," a heavy-hitting wink to the old-school Belgian club
scene that shaped the underground of the early 2000's. This vibe created
"Moving On," a sophisticated French-like house tune with Chris
Farmer where the vocalist enters into a constant conversation with rhythmic
elements, creating a versatile track that fits in any part of a DJ set. The
finale is reserved for heavy hitters: "This This" and "Disco
Trouble" are pure, pumpy club rollers. Peak-time bangers designed for
maximum impact, before the album dissolves into the hazy, cinematic outro of
"Blurred Lines. |

Ruby My Dear returns to
Analogical Force with Iterations EP -- five cuts of precision-engineered
electronica forged from repetition and control. Originally conceived for a
videomapping project by Barcelona-based studio VPM and premiered at SIGNAL
and MIRA festivals the music quickly evolved beyond its audiovisual origins
into a fully independent sonic work. Razor-edged IDM, glitched breakcore and
high-velocity drum programming collide with dark harmonic pressure and
microscopic detail. Brutal yet deliberate. Chaotic yet exact. This is Ruby My

Originally released in 1993 on Full Motion Records, Tranvision
by Optical Phase is a cult Italian progressive house / trance record from the
early ’90s underground. Produced during the golden era of Italian
progressive, the track captures the hypnotic and melodic sound that defined
many European dancefloors of the time, driven by atmospheric pads, rolling
rhythms and uplifting synth progressions. Long sought-after by DJs and
collectors, the record has become increasingly hard to find in its original
pressing. Now finally back on vinyl, making this early ’90s Italian
progressive gem available again for a new generation of DJs and collectors |

ANNE
is proudly presents her new imprint Blind Harmonies, shaped by intuition,
patience, and a self-taught approach to music creation. The name reflects a
journey built without formal training, producing music "blind,"
guided by listening, experimentation, and trust in instinct rather than
rules. The label is built on the belief that harmony is something you sense
before you understand. By closing your eyes, sound becomes more honest,
rhythms breathe, textures speak, and emotion takes the lead. With her first
release, ANNE presents four dynamic, dance floor - oriented cuts-emotional
and seductive at the same time. Opening with A1. Daydream, the EP sets a
melancholic yet driving tone, drifting deep into the listener's mind and
emotions. A2. Castles in the Air follows with a propulsive rhythm, led by
Detroit-influenced synth soul and percussive energy that carries the track
forward. On the B-side, B1. Metallic Tapes delivers a hypnotic, percussive,
and trippy groove, maintaining a steady yet intense rhythmic flow. Closing
the record, "In the Blink of an Eye" blends powerful drums with a
sharp, striking lead-proving that potent techno can be both intense and
beautiful. The release it's a personal journey, produced with detail and love
and focusing on the dynamic but timeless approach of techno music |

A central figure in Belgian techno, Border
One's work has also been an international reference for consistency and
direction since his early releases. An artist for artists with true
commitment to his sound, Steven Petit's impact in the studio and behind the
decks is admired by anyone who has done their homework. His music describes
tight pressure under curious, modular-like sequences that stretch through the
timeline of each track. The scale of minimalism remains key here, and the
Belgian wastes no time when tunneling through his erratic tracks. Jazz-like
dissonance drives his tension and although each element is carefully
measured, the records truly command dancefloors. 'Inner Radiance' is no
different. The Fuse resident takes his game one step further, pushing harmony
to hysteria at every turn. The EP skips foreplay and dives straight into the
extremities of Border One's sound. In 'Reducing Valve', sustain is the key
ingredient to this chaos. Slowly ripping the synth sequence into chords,
Border one maintains a firm hold on the track's tension while remaining
playful with the main theme. 'Sensory Reset' is more of a lurker with its
shifting pad that spreads across the stereo image. This track is
characterized by a grim urgency as opposed to its predecessor's progressive
spiral. Keeping things low to the groove, the A2 swings about satisfyingly
while Border One tinkers at his 909 constructions. Continuing his work on
resonance, 'Transfigured' balances obscurity and surrealism. With a sequencer
on the loose and a drum machine to emphasize it, the Fuse resident guides his
audience into twists and turns at a constant pace. Here, we explore the
dichotomy between the warmth and cold of a modular sound in techno, something
frequently done but rarely mastered. Border One puts his years of experience
to work to provide a combination of flair and balance to his tracks,
something that is clearly translated in this EP. Of course, the final track -
the title track - 'Inner Radiance' brings something very special to the
table. The power of simplicity can never be underestimated and Petit knows
just how to use it. With a strong core to an already sturdy track, the
conclusion is spectacular. Emphasizing the electrifying nature of the record,
Border One adds vintage chord stabs that fit right in with the sharp lead to
create a powerful and memorable dancefloor experience. Not as much of a
wind-down more than it is a gripping cliff hanger for his future releases,
Border One provides once more an EP that underlines the true ethos of techno
music |

generic sleeve repress - Glaskin is the alias of two brothers, Jonathan and
Ferdinand, based in Munich. The pair have emerged as key figures in the citys
electronic music scene as longtime residents of the renowned Blitz Club,
standing out a homegrown talents amongst its vibrant electronic landscape.
Bringing a unique, forward-thinking techno style, as evidenced by their
contributions to Mutual Rytms Federation Of Rytm II and III compilations in
previous years, they now mark a new chapter and open 2025 in style with their
debut 12 on the label, Inertia Of Motion. Each cut on the EP has been
handcrafted with analogue gear, reflecting their distinctive artistic and
sonic vision. The release is a direct outcome of the creative process behind
their live set, which has become an integral part of the duos identity and
shows a natural evolution of their singular sound. Hush Up kicks things off
with deep, rubbery and rolling techno rhythms. The drums are stripped back
and laced with pulsing synth patterns and spoken word snippets that add a
freaky edge. Double Tap ups the anti with classic, pumping deep techno with
smart filters adding movement to the track as urgent leads hurry onwards.
Inertia bring a more anxious atmosphere with tightly coiled drums and perc
and eerie bell sounds ring out over the fat, twisted bassline. The brilliant
Tank brings mind-melting loopy techno with dubby chords and textured leads
warming their way between the beats to great effect, while Motion is
suspenseful techno that locks you into a high speed groove peppered with
thumping hits and kicks. Last of all, digital bonus Blushed Blue explores a
moody, minimal, late night techno sound that is warm, stylish and hypnotic to
close the show |

generic sleeve repress - Georgian powerhouse Yanamaste drops long-anticipated
new EP on Mutual Rytm. In-demand DJ/producer Yanamaste is a resident at
Georgia's renowned Khidi Club and a key part of Amsterdam's Vault Sessions
crew. His unique sound and fresh creative approach result in raw and visceral
techno, reflecting his passion for pushing boundaries and showcased perfectly
via his 'Dance' EP on Vault last year. Now, he returns with an EP born out of
the creative process behind his live set with a debut appearance on SHDW's
Mutual Rytm, 'Evil' - a collection of heavily-requested tracks that have
already made an impact after featuring in his Boiler Room and Stone Techno
Festival livestream. 'Evil' kicks things off with perfectly rubbery, funky drum
patterns and an urgent sense of movement that sweeps you off your feet.
'Lahante' is more percussive, with busy snares riding the rolling, forceful
drums and stark synths arresting your attention. 'Dragonfly' is perfectly
reduced via minimal drums intertwined with thunderous effects and ghoulish
energy, while 'Modulation Detected' has a more cosmic feel as it journeys
into the future with whispered spoken words and synths searching across the
face of the groove. Last but not least is the irresistible broken beat
goodness of 'Walking On Mars', with its swinging kicks and vast bassline
spraying about the mix beneath hypnotic melodic patterns. Two superb bonus
cuts, 'Ohohoi' and 'Pwiu', are also provided for digital buyers, bringing
further gems loaded with moody depths and compelling rhythms. Yanamaste 'Evil' lands on Mutual Rytm on

2026
generic sleeve repress - Portuguese techno mainstay Dextro drops cultured EP
'Covil Dos Abutres' for his label debut on Mutual Rytm. Dextro has been
immersed in electronic music and DJing since the early 90s. In the decades
since, he has become synonymous with a sound deeply rooted in simplicity and
authenticity. Fuelled by a passion for his craft, his production process is
guided by intuition and spans a diverse range of styles, from tunnelling
grooves to more potent techno with deep and hypnotic layers. He has held
several key residencies and released on top labels like CLR and Missile
Records, and he adds to those with a first outing on SHDW's Mutual Rytm with
'Covil Dos Abutres'. The five-track 12" and eight-track digital EP has a
sleek, stripped-back style, with wide-spanning corners of the techno realm
explored. 'Covil Dos Abutres' is a deep space transmission with journeying,
frictionless beats and deft sci-fi motifs that recall classic touches
synonymous with the genre's pioneers. 'Correct Incorrect' keeps the pressure
on with more rubbery, dubbed-out groves beautifully decorated with delicate
melodies. 'Vida E Morte' is another sublime and hypotonic minimal techno
sound with funk in the kicks and a freaky late-night spirit. 'Element One'
again combines perfectly reduced drum groves with atmospheric pads and
curious samples that keep you intrigued, and 'Beautiful Day' closes out with
sonar-like synth pulses over the most skeletal but captivating rhythms.

Silicon
Scally and Fleck E.S.C. need no introduction at this stage. Both artists are
veterans not just of Sheffield's Central Processing Unit label but of modern
electro as a whole, with the pair having decades of skin in the game at this
point. Their new release, a four-track EP entitled 'Slip' where Silicon
Scally handles the first half and Fleck E.S.C. the second, carries itself
with the adventurous confidence of a record made by masters of their craft.
Slip opener 'Phased Array' is exactly the kind of top quality machine-funk
tackle you'd expect from this meeting of minds. The beat programming is
deliciously tactile from the off, hissing and clanking like machinery in an
old Detroit factory. The feel of 'Phased Array' is altered, though, when the
chords come in, a series of alternating floating sounds which give the track
an altogether eerier feel. When all of this is coupled with the otherworldly
synth blurts that periodically force their way to the front of the track, the
overall effect is a piece of real depth assembled by an expert practitioner.
'Phased Array' is followed up by 'Stax', another brilliantly propulsive
number. Here we find the drum beat - one which is a little reminiscent of
that Kraftwerk tune about the numbers, no less - once more offset by some
decidedly more shadowy synth work, all while arpeggiated keyboard licks work
against an intricate web of basslines, chords and unidentifiable flying synth
tones. Fleck E.S.C. opens the Slip B-side with 'Good Ride', a number where
the nudge-wink title is borne out by a track built around looped snippets of
sighing vocals. That said, with a bassline that sounds like a blurting old
landline telephone, a ghoulish synth lead and all manner of motion-sick
breakdowns, the 'ride' in question could just as well be a Wipeout-style
whizz through hyperspace as anything more suggestive. 'Good Ride' also sets
itself apart from the other joints here by showing off a swaying halftime
breakdown. 'Intox Remedy',Slip's closer, wraps the EP in a manner which
continues some of the trends of the record's earlier tracks - richly tuneful
chords, precision-engineered broken beat drum programming and a wide palette
of delightfully unusual synth tones are all present and correct. However,
there is also something about the chords here which pares back the eeriness
of previous joints for a bit more of a wide-eyed, stargazing feel, and as
such 'Intox Remedy' sees the record out by placing the listener firmly back
in the cosmos. Tough enough for the dancefloor and intricate enough for home
listening, the SlipEP is a fabulous collaboration from two of the most
respected voices in the electro game |

Originally released in 2010 via Jesse Rose’s Made To Play label,
Oliver Dollar’s ‘Doin Ya Thang’ has gained iconic House track status. A
standout record that blends deep, rolling basslines with crisp percussion and
a catchy, looped vocal hook from a certain Detroit based DJ & Producer.
Built around a stripped-back rhythm and its infectious swing make sure it’s
still a favourite among DJs. Now picked up by Defected this is the first
official reissue on vinyl since its original release |

Phantasy
transports back to 1982 for a faithful reissue of the highly sought after
‘Fools Are Friendly’ from Xclusiv, carefully re-mastered from the original
tapes. The alias of sisters Karen and Maxine Berlinski, Xclusiv emerged
inconspicuously from the London borough of Croydon with a sophisticated
vision of cosmic disco pop, linking the suburbs with Soho’s neon-tinted
nightlife. Decades later, and in close collaboration with the sisters, this
highly sought-after record arrives lovingly reissued by Phantasy in its
original, sensuous form. Originally self-released on Le Maitre Music, a
record label spun-off from their family-run fireworks and pyrotechnics
company, ‘Fools Are Friendly’ has the irresistible sense of a radio hit that
never was. A brilliant DIY reflection of the disco and soul that dominated
the charts of the time, its glossy, primitive electronics echo the synth
experiments of Giorgio Moroder or Didier Marouani, pioneers that were
transforming pop music. The extended mix provides an overture to the sisters’
twinned vocals, unfolding with delectable disco drama. In contrast, the
Instrumental Mix lets the record’s blend of elements truly breathe, a
synthesised version of Xclusiv’s irresistible vocal hook holding court
between timeless arpeggios and subtle modulation |

(LP,
black vinyl, booklet, 300 copies) Belgian formation Razen joins forces with
Dutch composer and theatre musician Dick Van der Harst for a new
collaborative album Stained Glass Starling Between modal mysticism and
otherworldly folk trance, “Stained Glass Starling” draws the Razen universe
into its deepest listening mode yet. After their recent LP Mirages (Kraak
Records, 2025) with French turntablist Guilhem’All, the group continues to
explore collaborations with artists and instruments from diverse musical
traditions. Building on decades of uncompromising acoustic exploration, Razen
delves deeper into their practice with five improvisational pieces that
unfold slowly in time and space. The duo’s radical core - Brecht Ameel and
Kim Delcour - finds in Van der Harst a longtime kindred spirit, united by the
impact of sound, intonation, and the sheer joy of playing. To be released on
April 24 via VIERNULVIER Records, the artwork for Stained Glass Starling was
created by American visual artist Robert Beatty (Oneohtrix Point Never,
Christina Vantzou, The Weeknd, Tame Impala). The physical release comes with
a 16-page booklet including artwork and an interview. A long-standing
artistic kinship lies at the heart of this project, with first encounters
dating back to the early 2000s in Belgian musical improv theatre. Van der
Harst’s lifelong experience in improvised music and music theatre, spanning
back to the 1980s, combined with a vast arsenal of rare and historical
instruments, opens new tonal territories within the Razen universe. These
explorations are not incidental: his family roots in the former Dutch East
Indies — through his great-grandfather — provide a quiet backdrop to his
enduring affinity for Asian musical traditions. Instruments such as erhu,
Javanese kacapi, and others introduce timbres that bring the music its most
pronounced Asian inflections to date. Yet despite this shift in colour, the
underlying ethos remains unmistakably Razen. Working from sound rather than
form, the ensemble approaches music as painters approach a canvas: adding
layers, contrasts and shades with care. There is no soloist’s ego here; all
voices are equal, echoing principles found in gamelan traditions. Over the
decades, Razen and Dick Van der Harst have crossed paths repeatedly, notably
through cult theatre productions by Belgian theatre maker Eric De Volder,
including Zwarte vogels in de bomen (2002) and Huis der Verborgen Muziekjes
I–II (2000–2006). Recording an albumtogether had long been a shared
aspiration — a wish that crystallised after a 2024 concert at Concertzaal
Miry in Ghent, part of the Ruiskamer series by VIERNULVIER Art Centre |

Phil Berg is back on the label, with his highly anticipated
return. Four tracks that continue to pave the way he laid in 2023 with his
Raid EP. Titled Iso, the EP is a study in reduction and discipline. Phil
builds each track around a single guiding tension, rhythmic loops that
breathe and shift injecting different emotions as each sound passes. Phil
Berg first appeared on SK11 in late 2023 with Raid, one of his biggest and
most accomplished releases to date, an
EP that made an immediate impression across techno fans worldwide. Iso's four
productions here, each with their own identity, each showcasing the same
commitment to craft and precision that defined his introduction to the label.
The EP is a statement of intent for Phil in 2026 and one of SK11's strongest
releases of the year |

Designed
for her 5 Hour extended sets and refined on dancefloors worldwide,
"Can't Stop Loving You" - out today on slash - captures KI/KI's
signature nostalgia-meets-future sound. Self-written and produced, it's an
emotive trance burner built for peak time joy, unity and release, a sound
that has defined her rise across global rave culture. "Can't Stop Loving
You" has become the closing moment in KI/KI's 2025 sets. From her Radio
One Essential Mix, her two 5 Hours at the Woolstore, Melbourne - the only
artist to ever do two back-to-back - to her AMF headline set to 40,000 fans
at the Johan Cruijff ArenA! "Can't Stop Loving You" has been the
emotional closer all year long. On the track KI/KI says: I wrote this track
during the biggest heartbreak of my life. Back then I was working on music
for my liveshow, and needed a track to close the show with. Can't stop loving
you was the result. Every note, every sound, every vocal helped me through
how I was feeling and listening back now reminds me that eventually things
will be okay again. The song evolves from an emotional track to an optimistic
172bpm banger and this perfectly describes my process - and maybe the story
of almost every heartbreak? This record is living proof to me that music can
be healing. I hope it does the same for you In just a few years, KI/KI has
become one of the most exciting and influential voices in electronic music.
She's sold out 20,000-capacity shows and graced the cover of DJ Mag. In 2026,
she'll headline London, Dublin, Belfast, Paris, LA and NYC - all selling out
in minutes. With new music coming and her fanbase surging, "Can't Stop
Loving You" now closes both her sets and her year - the emotional full
stop on 2025 before an even bigger 2026 |

Spatial
stalwart and ambient master Aural Imbalance returns for a fresh slice of
atmospheric heaven with Unknown Universe. A1 - Alien Lifeform: A serene,
distinctly atmospheric synth intro with light hats introduces Alien Lifeform,
Aural Imbalance toying with filtered breaks and a deep bassline which ushers
in trademark melodic pads and a thoughtfully constructed amen pattern.
Rolling and intense, the track embodies Spatial's love for the floor as well
as the absorbed listener, nodding along to the laid-back rhythms on the 2am
train home. A2 - Indigo: Soothing, calming synths create an evocative
introduction peppered lightly with cymbals and gentle intrigue, before the
Circles break takes center stage with a delightfully constructed and crisply
programmed pattern. A spirited breakdown with a subtle trance-like quality
ensues before the breaks take over again, all set to a suitably earthy 808
bassline humming away below. AA1 - Empty Universe: Deliciously clean and
chunky Hot Pants breaks provide a DJ-friendly intro to Empty Universe, a
blissful rolling track which sees Aural Imbalance fusing incredible 80's
synthwave vibes, rolling deep basslines and micro melodies with that timeless
and evocative break - programmed to perfection - culminating in a stunningly
atmospheric piece, fresh for the discerning listener - just as we like it at
Spatial. A2 - Lunar Phase: Kick back as Aural Imbalance closes the EP in fine
form with a leisurely trip to the dark side of the moon. Lunar Phase opens
with a short intro featuring sullen tones and light hats before a hypnotic
break pattern takes over proceedings, and airy padwork circles above. A
meandering melody builds throughout the piece and develops its final form
during a luscious breakdown, and through the closing stages of this truly
beautiful track. Words by Chris Hayes (Spatial/Red Mist) |

Sublunar, the label founded by
Sciahri, is proud to present the debut EP of Australian artist Connor Wall
with Equals. Known for his releases on Phorum and Moving Pressure, Connor
Wall is one of those artists capable of crafting a deeply personal and hypnotic
sound, where each track unfolds as a journey of its own. The EP opens with
Oak, a minimal yet driving and
atmospheric piece, before moving into Invert, a powerful track built
around a unique and relentless escalation of tension. On the B-side, Equals
sets the tone with growing intensity and hypnotic vocals that carry a story
meant to be experienced until the very end. Construct follows with darker,
more obscure vibes, delivering a deeply hypnotic and mental atmosphere,
before the EP concludes with The End, a truly mystical journey that captures
the essence of an artist able to transform sound into narrative |
