a string of releases on Hot Haus, Running Out Of Steam and Distant Horizons,
M4A4 is no stranger to creating ear-catching dance music against a backdrop
of collective influences, ranging from UKG, house and lunging 2-step. The
prolific producer now makes his debut for Breaks 'N' Pieces - twisting the
standard house template; with one eye on the past and another on the future.
'Cartier' creates a spark by combining slinky drums and classic house sounds
with an M4A4 signature twist; while also offering a zesty 2-step digi-only
version. 'Enchanter' is a punchier affair, with layers of nostalgia painted
vividly within dreamy pads and M1 organs, before 'Starbeam' comes in as

And Out label head and all-round speed garage bubbler Xander joins the Breaks
N Pieces family with his sights firmly set on deep and dark 2-step grooves
following a string of killer Bandcamp releases through his own DIGI series.
Those with a keen ear for the emerging producers sound will have heard lead
track 'Restless' across the BBC Radio 1 airwaves as part of Jaguar's show;
Looney Tune inspired sound effects give a whacky feel to the growling
bassline and crisp percussion, before Break-a-Dawn provides a glimpses into a
previously unexplored side of the Xander sound - dreamy atmospherics mould
with playful vocal samples and rolling breakbeats in a killer blend of

Ireland-via-UK artist Dorbachov releases the Ellesmere Street EP
on his Scrap & Delete label 28th February 2025. It kicks off with the
title track Ellesmere Street, a groove-laden roller with tripped-out plucks
and dubby synths, expertly remixed by 90s techno artist Invexis, who ups the
energy and turns it into an up-front, peak-time cut. On the flip, Dorbachovs
Just Bump is a proper old-school Techno track, complete with classic
hardcore-influenced rave stabs and pumping club rhythms that will keep the
dancefloor moving. Bog Rat then consists of moody sequences that ooze over
hard-hitting drums, closing out this late-night underground offering.
Ellesmere Street is a nod to the past, but with a firm eye on the future. Its
about capturing that raw energy and spirit of the rave scene, where the music
did the talking. Its a reminder of why we fell in love with techno in the

Bad
Cop Bad Cop return with their fourth album Lighten Up, a defiant and dynamic
portrait of struggle, strength, and self-discovery. Recorded at the Compound
in Long Beach with producer Antoine Arvizu (Sublime, Ryan Bingham), the SoCal
punks expand their melodic, harmony-rich sound in new directions. The album
includes jazz-tinged moments like `Las Ventanas', dub-inspired grooves on
`Note to Self', and a striking cover of Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros'
`Johnny Appleseed'. Tracks were completed with ten days of focused vocal
sessions alongside longtime collaborator John E. Carey Jr. (NOFX, Old Man
Markley), capturing the emotional weight and energy the band is known for.
Guitarist Alex Windsor brings an extra edge, elevating arrangements with
precision and flair_especially on the blistering closer `I4NI'. With songs
like `Shattered' and `Safe and Legal' leading the charge, Lighten Up finds
Bad Cop Bad Cop unapologetically doing things on their own terms. "We
didn't give a fuck what anyone else wanted_this one was for us," says

The Sun was formed in the late
90s in Gothenburg, Sweden. In a musical vacuum, the band entered the city's
vibrant musical scene and made things grow from a very different angle with
their harmony singing and Eastern sounds in the same spirit as once Love, The
Beach Boys, The Byrds and The Hollies. It was more folksy, less electric.
More gardens and wine than rock'n'roll if you like. The energy was warm and
flamboyant with loads of air and love - no other band sounded like them. The
Sun burned out quickly and collapsed however, and the members continued
towards other dreams with bands like Whyte Seeds and Pacific!. With the

edition of the two key themes composed by Ennio Morricone for the grotesque
comedy CRESCETE E MOLTIPLICATEVI in 1973. The film was directed by Giulio
Petroni in 1973 and starred Lionel Stander, Hugh Griffith and Rosalba Neri.
Morricone's unusual score, an explosive mixture of sacred and profane, is a
guttural vocal work performed by I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni and Edda
Dell'Orso, with the participation of Oscar Valdambrini's wonderful
flugelhorn. Mastered by Chris Malone, this 7-inch disc is pressed in elegant

Oriundos
de Maidstone (Kent), Perforning Ferret Band, fundados en 1978, pueden
presumir de haber escrito con su música de espíritu inepto, un pequeño, pero
gran capítulo, en toda la eclosión surgida después del punk. Justo cuando la
proliferación de pequeños sellos y autoediciones invadieron las tiendas
creando una escena que sirvió para desarrollar una de las etapas más doradas
y creativas de la música a pesar de que los protagonistas eran limitados a

comediantes como Monty Phyton, o en artistas de la talla de Captain

Bicycles, todos grupos de dudoso virtuosismo. Esto no impidió a la banda para
que en su corta existencia, hasta el 1982, editaran dos cassetes, un siete

In March 1969, the Velvets (with
Doug Yule now on bass) embarked on a nationwide tour. One of these dates
included a stint at the "End Of Cole Avenue" club in Dallas, one of
the Velvets' few live performances where a professional sound engineer was
actually on hand to record the sets. Some of the songs recorded over those
few nights showed up in 1974 on their 1969: Velvet Underground Live album,
but the sound quality was not great due to the use of third or fourth
generation tapes. However, the first-generation tapes have since resurfaced,
and the difference in sound quality (heard here) is a welcome one |

Chrs
Galarreta (aka Sajjra) is one of the important figures of the South American
experimental underground. A merger of psychedelic songs with Andean-tropical
music and sound experimentation. Artwork by Peruvian master graphic design
Jonathan Castro. Buh Records present "Synthexcess" new album of
Sajjra, project of Peruvian artist Chrs Galarreta. "Synthexcess"
was recorded in Rotterdam and it is a collection of telluric, ethereal,
unique and unclassifiable songs. Sajjra's sounds can call forth the resonance
of Andean brass orchestras or of sublime natural landscapes. They emanate
textures and rhythms that evoke urban and rural soundscapes mutating in
epiphanies full of noise, color and trance. Chrs Galarreta (Peru, 1976) is
one of the important figures of the South American experimental underground.
Going back and forth from Europe to his homeland, he has been experimenting
with noise in a strictly DIY way since 1995. This philosophy has led him to
expand his abilities into realms such as harsh-pop songs, experimental music,
installation art, software hacking, free improvisation and electroacustic
compositions. He is a man with many aliases and side projects: Aloardi,
DiosMeHaViolado, Evamuss, Chrs, Tica, and Invisible Architecture among
others. His song project Sajjra emerged from the depths of the Uku Pacha in
2012, merging psychedelic songs with andean-tropical music and sound
experimentation |

from 1980 - 2000 by Walter Verdin is released we bring you 'Minimalize Your
Reworks': A collection of 12 reworks and interpretations of the 1981
composition 'Minimalize' Verdin originally created for a video art
installation. 12 totally different versions by 12 musicians, producers, dj's
and artists blowing the dust of this visionary track Verdin made at night in
the studios of the audiovisual services of the university, somewhere in the
Belgian city of Leuven. 'Minimalize Your Reworks' features contributions from
a wide range of musicians: Peaking Lights (USA/Mexican Summer ...) delivers a
motorik manifesto for lost 80's kids with nostalgia for coin up games at a
desolated Luna Park. Stripped down demented disco to keep the heartbeat in a
trance. Jlin(USA/Planet Mu) injects the old school vibe with a shot of firing
future footwork reshaping it in a dazzling abstract bass buzzer. Céline
Gillain (Belgium/Cortizona) sculpts Verdin's mantra into a brand new story
dribbling between deadpan bubblegum dance hall and tongue in cheek wordy
rappinghood. A slow burning technicolor dream fading into a throbbing new
ecstatic reality is maybe the best way to describe Transistorcake's
(Belgium/1/2 of Aili/Eskimo Recordings) translation of the original
composition. Electronic body music of a Blade Runner generation chasing a
Stranger Things reality in an upside down world: Sagat's
(Belgium/Bepotel/Meakusma...) version explores new horizons for sure. Beton
Brut (London/Plasma Sources) goes for the short sharp shock and flips
Walter's analogue tape advice into an insane grimey gabbercore classic for
the year 2525. That's around the same time era where you can find the spirit
of Legowelt's (The Netherlands/Bunker/Clone...) goofy robotic interpretation
of 'Minimalize': Star Trekking across the universe, boldly going forward with
the vocoder and the 808 until everyone's dancing or at least moving their
feet. Is it an earthquake? Am I having a heart attack? Is this how the light
at the end of the tunnel sounds? Only Ossia (Bristol/Blackest Ever Black)
knows. Together with his vintage echodeck he's exploring and pushing dub
& Mego boundaries here. Stretching the Bristol maximum out of the minimum
with a thrilling result. DJ Marcelle (The Netherlands/Cortizona) takes bass
to another level in her Space Invaders Remix, deconstructing and splicing
sound into a new form of what could be an anchor point for inzane Johnnies
testing and fine-tuning their boombox car sound system. Patrick Stevens aka
the anti-techno warrior aka Hypnoskull (Belgium/Ant Zen) slams your brain
with an industrial stomper - banging like a 1984 anthem - straight outta
George Orwell ghetto. The Hafler Trio (Estonia/Staalplaat/Touch...) knocks on
the doors of perception and enters your sonicsoul with hidden subliminal messages
like only Andrew McKenzie can. But what did you expect with a legacy of
creating music for almost 50 years and collaborations with Autechre, Nurse
With Wound, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Z'EV, Jónsi, Clock DVA, Blixa Bargeld and many
others? And Annelies Monseré (Belgium/Horn of Plenty/Morc) transcends cosmic
minimal frequencies from another dimension into an unknown maximalized

'Tangkoa II', Belgian producer and multi-instrumentalist Dijf Sanders invites
listeners into a vibrant and immersive sonic world shaped by travel,
collaboration and instinct. Released via Unday Records, the album grew out of
field recordings captured during a journey through Vietnam, later transformed
into rhythmic, colourful compositions that feel both intimate and expansive.
Rather than building tracks piece by piece on a screen, Sanders approaches
music as something alive and unfolding. Sounds are performed and reshaped in
real time, giving the album a spontaneous energy, as if the music is
discovering itself while you listen. Together with drummer and producer Simon
Segers, he creates a fluid dialogue between electronic sounds and human
rhythm, balancing precision with freedom. Improvisation lies at the heart of

2026 marks the arrival of TYGAPAW (aka Dion McKenzie)’s first full-length
album on Tresor Records, entitled Together You Gather All Power Applied
Worldwide. An acronym of its creator’s name, TYGAPAW’s third studio album is
a deeply personal collection of music building worlds where Black queer and
trans siblings can thrive, while unifying dancefloors worldwide. A
proposition that collective wisdom liberates us from the matrix of domination
we live within. The album unfolds as the latest chapter in TYGAPAW’s ongoing
techno opera opus, continuing to center the voices of Black women, which
surface as layered incantations rather than lyrics - powerful, haunting,
sensual, activating. With the process of creating the album starting in 2023,
as TYGAPAW (Dion McKenzie) was in the first year of their transition, the
music reflects the intensity of that period, where they were experiencing
deplatforming as a response to the shift in their physical appearance: Tracks
like ‘M32 Riddim’ and ‘Helicopter hovers over my Crown Heights Apartment’
feature high-paced rhythms intersecting with intense siren-like synths to
form demanding compositions echoing a heightened sense of alert. Yet
throughout the album, relief comes in the form of TYGAPAW’s vocal features,
co-conspirators, and chosen family, whose voices are treated with reverb and
echo, a sonic fingerprint that leads back to the pioneers in the legendary
studios of TYGAPAW’s native land, Jamaica, an important reminder that the
past will always inform the future. It is an album for dancers first and
foremost, where joy, defiance, and integration with the natural body coexist,
and every drop feels less like a climax than a transformation. Expect a bass
that permeates your soul and melodic synthesized sequenced phrases echoing
the dancehall eras of TYGAPAW’s youth, reshaped into hypnotic melodies that
glow over industrial kicks designed to command attention, reasserting
Jamaica's pioneering yet often overlooked contribution to electronic music.
In the opening track, ‘Can I Live’, Precious Okoyomon’s words feel like the
beginning of a ritual; setting the intentions for the rest of the
proceedings. As McKenzie puts it, their “work is about regeneration,
resetting, getting integrated into nature, and about rebirth. That’s the tone
I wanted to set at the outset of the album.” Ms Carrie Stacks continues this
thread of support in ‘Don’t Panic’ with heavily processed vocals on top of a
beat that takes inspiration from another important ingredient in the antidote
to the oppression of isolation: Ballroom culture. “ I feel like I found my
queerness in Ballroom, that’s why this track is very important to me.” Echoes
of NYC Black queer nightlife scene also permeate in the energetic drums of
‘Exorcise the Language of Domination’, in which Julianna Huxtable’s spoken
performance complements the various movements and tones of the music. “My
producer brain thought this was the one that Juliana’s vocals would be best
suited for. I hinted: ‘what do you think of this one?’ She just went into her

From there, it was a year-long process of development. It required time and
space for this thing to evolve, but I think it’s one of the most powerful
tracks on the album.” London’s SUUTOO contributes the album’s only musical
collaboration on ‘B2B’, a track that emerged from sessions in McKenzie’s New
York studio where the real objective was to connect and have fun; a time out
from the demands of life outside. The album closes out with a double hit of
emotion in the form of ‘Effects of Resistance and Black Trans Masculine
Experience’. The former features South African scholar Khanyisile Mbongwa
drawing connections that exist between Africa and the Black diaspora, whilst
looking to the future and calling for a shared sense of community. The latter
piece, an instrumental version of the piece which featured on the IMMIGRANT
E.P. of 2025 is a gentle and deeply affecting end to the record, a place of
peace and acceptance. This end-of-cycle tone is mirrored in the sleeve
photography, which also ties back to IMMIGRANT by finally revealing what was
hidden: a portrait of the artist fully self-actualized; a step towards true
inner liberation. TYGAPAW is sonically defiant across this album; bass
frequencies feel tactile — less heard than inhabited — infectious lead synth
melodies remain with you long after the track ends. An overall sound that
leaves asserting an urgent need for connection. From Detroit to New York to
Berlin to Jamaica, despite geographic distance, this album reminds us that we
remain in solidarity, recognising that meaningful world-building requires
collective input and action, both personal and communal, if we are to move
toward liberation |

deeply personal EP, 'Viciosa'. Scheermann is at the heart of the Berlin
underground as a DJ/producer, but also working behind the scenes at the
Intakt Berlin vinyl pressing plant, where he first met Mutual Rytm founder
SHDW. As a resident of the Lorem Ipsum party series, he delivers cultured and
compelling grooves, and is also an active member of the Wesertekk collective
- supporting and pushing club culture to the forefront in more rural areas.
His music comes from a deeply personal place, never chasing hype or
headlines, and is usually found at home on his own imprint, SAMMLER. This new
EP marks his first appearance away from the label as he unveils a collection
of records crafted over five years, with each track representing different
moments in his life. 'Viciosa' kicks off with paranoid vocals panning about
as swinging, warehouse-ready drums pound heavily below. The gritty synth
craft adds plenty of texture as filters build the vibe. 'Placid Sin' is even
more intense with unresolved synths tripping you in a loopy state while
coarse percussion and cantering drums march on. 'Don't Care' is a rave-ready
cut that injects your soul with urgent synth energy over more minimal and
moody drums. 'Kano' brings a more elastic rhythm with dubby undercurrents and
sleek sonar pulses infusing it with mystery, while 'Reika' is a nimble cut
with icy hi hats and curious synth notes layering in late night suspense.
First digital bonus 'Resoclap' is a heavyweight swinger with dark, groaning
voices, before the second digital bonus 'Mizu' provides a speedy and supple

with conceptual new techno EP, 'To Whom It May Concern'. Hyden is a potent
force in the French underground, creating powerful techno with dense
percussion, immersive grooves and subtle nods to classic influences - all
through his own unique lens. Having delivered standout releases in recent
years, here he offers up sounds "anchored in psychoanalysis, time, and
emotional residue" as he makes his mark on SHDW's Mutual Rytm imprint,
delivering influences of dream logic and surrealism as the palette moves
between brutality and introspection. "It's hypnotic music for moments of
rupture where something breaks or breaks through". Opener 'Manifest
Content' is inspired by Freudian theory and explores the surface illusions of
thought and dream. It's about the dissonance between what we perceive and the
deeper meaning that slips away beneath and is a deep and dubby techno track
with flashes of unsettling melody. 'Bruises' is emotional trauma made sonic.
This piece delves into invisible scars and traumas, residues of past conflict
or intimacy - it's slow-burning, heavy and raw. 'Jikan' is a meditation built
on time and its erosion. Inspired by the Japanese concept of impermanence, it
reflects fleeting moments, decay and the tension between stillness and motion
with jacked up but warm drums and turbulent bass. Next, 'Free Will' is born
from inner conflict and plays with deterministic rhythms and evolving layers,
questioning whether we are truly in control or just passengers in a
prewritten sequence. The vocal mentions, "creatures, you're out of
time" to bring darkness to the intense but sleek rhythms. The
streamlined physicality of 'Swarm' channels the primal force of collective
movement and is a nod to the loss of individuality in group behaviour. In
addition, the package is loaded with digital bonus cuts. 'Yumehara' is a dive
into surreal dream-states and evokes subconscious landscapes where logic
dissolves and emotion reigns, while 'Lu Bu' is brutal and warlike and named
after the legendary Chinese general that captures impulsive violence,
betrayal and reckless glory with relentless energy and rhythm. Lastly, 'Neon
Pale' is a synthetic dreamscape about fading beauty under artificial light -
a melancholy ode to cities at night and the loss of warmth in modern life.

Gnawa tradition outside Morocco. Led by maalem Hicham Bilali, the group
brings guibri, qrraqueb, and call-and-response chants to life with
trance-like intensity and ritual precision. Their music is both rooted and
contemporary, weaving earthbound rhythms and vocal invocations into ecstatic,
immersive soundscapes, creating a space where ancestral resonance meets
present-day imagination. About Jan Bang: Jan Bang is a pioneering Norwegian
producer and musician, celebrated for his mastery of live sampling and his
ability to merge electronics with improvisation, rhythm, and texture in real
time. He mixed the album and occasionally joins live performances, bringing
his signature approach to sound as co-founder of the influential Punkt
Festivaland collaborator with artists such as Jon Hassell, David Sylvian,
Arve Henriksen, and ECM Records' roster. As a performer and sound architect,
Bang creates immersive, trance-like sonic textures where silence and sound
carry equal weight. Within Mattias De Craene ftBlack Koyo, his live sampling
becomes an organic instrument, weaving saxophone, electronics, and Gnawa

contemporary ethio-jazz duo from London comprised of producer, keyboardist
and synth player Yohan Kebede and bassist/producer Menelik, have announced
the forthcoming release of their debut EP ‘TEMESGEN’; is a six-track aural
odyssey that balances uncompromising experimentation with a deep sense of
home, comfort, and exploration. In accordance with the duo’s mission, the
project is seeking to redefine and reimagine Ethiopian music for a new
generation. Speaking on the inspiration behind the EP’s title, Yohan said:
“‘TEMESGEN’ means “Thank God” in Amharic, and for me, I never heard my mother
receive good news without saying it aloud. After the first couple gigs we did
as ZENA, we saw how people reacted to our music and how it resonated with

deep-rooted. Continuing Blueprint's 30th anniversary celebrations, James
Ruskin welcomes the return of Oliver Ho, whose relationship with the label is
deep-rooted. Oliver Ho has spent the last 30 years devoting his life to
creating some of the most intense and compelling electronic music out there.
Debuting his signature raw sound in 1996 on Blueprint Records, he cemented
himself in the underground of the '90s UK techno scene. With a plethora of
aliases, he has navigated his way through many different genres. From the
frenetic tribal sounds of his own Meta imprint, the off the wall house music
made as Birdland and Raudive, the grinding industrial of Broken English Club
and the heavily textured ambient of his Slow White Fall and Zov Zov projects.
While pushing and pulling at the fringes of electronic music, at the very
centre has always been the beating heart of hypnotic techno, an art form that
is both brutal and bewitching; techno as ritual magic. Oliver's live shows
and DJ sets showcase this expression of music as shamanic experience,
metallic and relentless, pure and direct. An integral figure in shaping
Blueprint's early sound, Oliver Ho returned in 2016 for their 20th
anniversary with the "Burning Heretics EP", which was followed by a
remastered reissue of 1999's "Awakening The Sentient". So it's
fitting that he's now back for this latest milestone with a new EP, "Our
Secret Religion" dropping in May |

Roger
Roger (5 August 1911 - 12 June 1995) was a French film composer and
bandleader. His aliases included: Eric Swan, Cecil Leuter, the last being a
pseudonym he used for his electronic productions. He was one of the first
with Pierre Henry and Jean-Jacques Perrey to experiment with the Moog synth;
his Pop Electronique album was released in 1969, five years after Bob Moog
put his synth on the market. "Musique Idiote" Super rare
experimental moogy LP by master Roger Roger, with beautiful cover art and a
definitive collector item for any Dada/absurd/Monthy Python fans!. Its full
of short analog synth compositions on the theme of "extremely annoying
and devolved." Kinda like how total madness-seeming an album of circus
calliope would be, but more circuit-bent. This is music to bash your brains
out with a hammer to! Roger Roger was one of the kings of library music, and
this album is part of the Neuilly series out of France (easily one of the
best and coolest libraries, one which also employed library composer giants
Janko Nilovic, Cecil Leuter, Yan Tregger, Jean Bouchety and Nino Nardini!) |

Hardt Antoine returns to Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels for his first
original release on the label, adding to his captivating remix of Henri
Bergmann & Wentink’s ‘Guardian Angel’ in 2024. Anchored by Charlotte OC’s
striking delivery, the track draws on the pull of classic disco and modern

Norbak make it a 5 track Techno heavyweight. An intriguing combination of
positive, joyful atmosphere and gritty, pushy sound aesthetic spans all over
the record. "The Show" and its euphorigenic rising stabs appears
like what could be transformed into an Euro Dance anthem easily. Yet the
aware and well curated production holds it firmly in the zone of Techno and
House underground. Speaking House, here's "In Mein Glas" - a
sportive track with an irresistible bounce foiled by a lackadaisical vocal
line, which gives it a comic twist. As "Fieber" keeps the bounce
we're getting a little more aggressive again: a delicate distortion, a dominant
bass and a groovy drive. In all these 3 original tracks it's the melange of
melodic motives, vocal highlights, crispy production as well as versatile
creative details, which creates this specific sound that gets you hooked. It
is lightness however wrapped in an Industrial musical language. That said,
the remixes proof how a new energy can be revealed by more minimal
re-interpretations. Nastia Reigel, getting hands on "The Show",
pushes drums and a fresh rhythmic play of vocal chops into the foreground. A
sparse break followed by a powerful drop adds a strong climax. Norbak's
approach on "In Mein Glas" takes the melodic motive and embeds it
into a dubby space, not giving up on the hard-hitting kick.

with a brand new single: Hit The Corner / Clamber. This release marks the
exciting introduction of a new artist joining the SUNANDBASS Recordings
roster, signalling a bright future for both the label and its evolving sound.
With previous releases on Shall Not Fade and Alix Perez's 1985 Music, Napes
is a promising name within the modern jungle scene. This release is a clear
statement of his pushing boundaries combining grime influences and old school
jungle, giving us his fresh sounds and melody-led drum and bass music,
reaching new horizons while staying rooted in foundations. On the A-side, Hit
The Corner showcases acid-tinged synths that meet a UK grime edge, driven by
energetic beats and rolling breaks. In 6:20, Napes lets us travel through all
the facets of a SUNANDBASS Recordings journey, with his ever-changing
arrangement that evolves from heavy, club-focused energy into a euphoric
jungle-inspired middle section, before concluding with driving arpeggiated
synths. On the B-side, Clamber offers a deep, darker contrast. Between the
atmospheric strings set intro which is dropping into a heavy, bass-driven
groove, easily imagined shaking the dancefloor during an Ambra Night indoor
session. The track reveals a more introspective side of Napes, blending
refined sound selection with classic, weighty basslines built for the

Y-3,
the pioneering sports-fashion collaboration between adidas and Yohji
Yamamoto, has for three decades dwelled calmly within the "tensions of
existence". In conceiving the brand's long-awaited return to runway
format at Paris Fashion Week, these codes laid the groundwork leading up to
the Spring/Summer 2025 season. Whilst the focus for runway is traditionally
placed on garments, models, styling, environment, and the pageantry in
between, it was crucial that music play an integral role in the conversation.
Three seasons later, sound has informed creative direction from the very
earliest phases of ideation. Commissioning all-original compositions has
become a natural part of this ideology. The return to runway has invited the
opportunity to define a new sonic palette for the brand, and beyond that, to
usher in a new era of sound for Y-3 that echoes across music & culture.
Following this ethos, and with a mandate to support obscure talent, Montreal
duo Solitary Dancer have emerged as the first collaborators in shaping the
intimate brand architecture of noise & feeling. With a body of work now
spanning over a trilogy of seasons, the genre-defying Y-3000 imprint provides
an outlet to disseminate & recontexualize the original compositions
beyond the traditional runway. The label embodies Y-3's enduring commitment
to explore innovation within opposing cultural forces. The works, originally
released on Y-3000 as a series of white labels, are now being featured as a
6x 12" vinyl compilation. Designed by Trevor Jackson and limited to just
99 examples, the recordings will also be made available both digitally and on
streaming services for the very first time |
